Because this site provides continuous editorial bowling articles, we thought it would be fun to hear from our friends to comment on what are your bowling swing thoughts when bowling in your competitive leagues and tournaments?
Let’s get you started by saying not every bowler regardless of experience and skill level thinks the same way about their given arm swing technique.
Some of you use a controlled, short backswing technique and some of you swing the ball very freely and swiftly.
As you work your way through competitive sessions, you undoubtedly monitor your swing for tempo and direction in some fashion.
Here are a few swing thoughts to help you identify your swing thoughts and comment about them:
Do you allow your ball to swing freely with no tension and simply trust your swing path toward your target.
Do you tend to control your swing and steer your ball to your sight target?
Perhaps you think as much or more about your release than your swing while you bowl?
Are you able to adjust your swing path when playing a variety of changing angles as you align to the pocket?
Do you have any specific swing thoughts when you adjust your ball speed to match best with the oil pattern?
Do you struggle playing certain angles of attack to the pocket such as the 1st arrow or way inside like the 4th or 5th arrow?
Do you move your target on the lane left or right on the lane thereby changing your delivery angle?
Of all the possible swing thoughts you may think of, which are your keys or key to making your best swing?
We would like to read your comments about your swing and what technique you focus on while you bowl.
Kindly place your comment in our blog section immediately below this article and let us share in what you have to relate.
We thank you in advance for your participation and are anxious to read your comments.
