Storm has developed a pearlized version of the Dimensionâ„¢ with enhanced traction in the carry-down and increased entry angle to the pocket. We knew the perfect complement to the original Dimensionâ„¢ would be to wrap the Continuumâ„¢ core in a pearlized version of the R2Xâ„¢ coverstock.
Enter another level
The next level of performance is the Second Dimensionâ„¢. With the success of the Continuumâ„¢ Core in the original Dimensionâ„¢, we decided to focus our attention on the other half.
We first pearlized, then reformulated the R2Xâ„¢ coverstock by infusing a physically altered mica known as Enhanced Traction Mica (E.T.M.). Our tests showed a 15% increase in surface profile, and as the ball traveled down the lane, we saw a 10% jump in friction values.
Amazingly, these surface values remained consistent all the way from the factory polished to a 1000-grit Abralonâ„¢ finish. This technology offers maximum flexibility by adding length and increased entry angle to the pocket on medium to lighter volume patterns.
Welcome to the Second Dimension.
Professional Ball Reviews
I drilled my Second Dimension the other day and was quite pleased as the ball did exactly what it is designed to do Strike and Strike more! I went with a label drilling 5x4 suggested by Ernest {technical advisor} at Storm just to see what the ball had in a simple drilling and was rather amazed at how much this ball came off the spot down the lane. It is very strong but yet smooth must be the mica flecks in the ball. This ball is the perfect compliment to the Dimension, when it starts to loose some energy down the lane this ball just keeps on coming! Amazing
Once again Storm products has created a ball that delivers, very clean thru the front and really strong yet smooth off the spot. Good job can't wait for the next one.

Storm "Pro-Pin"â„¢ Technology
PRO-PIN: A Pro-Pin is where the Pin distance from the CG is 5 -" 6 ½†out. Although still categorized as a first quality ball it has limited drill options (see our Pro-Pin Drilling Options) that requires a certain type of bowler. Please consult your pro shop professional before purchasing one of these balls. Anything more than 6 ½†would be termed an X-Blem (second).
