Drilling Layout Set 2

Please be sure that all balls are drilled with the pins in the Flare Safe Position.

Sufrace Preparation:
Matching the texture of the ball to the lane condition is the most important factor when looking for optimum reaction. If you have too much surface texture, or not enough, you will never be able to achieve maximum results. Ultimately, having the rightsurface texture is more important than the type of layout used when drilling your new Hammer ball.
Before Drilling You will need to know:

  1. The bowlers Ball Speed
  2. Axis Rotation
  3. Axis Tilt
  4. Lane Conditions and surface the bowler competes on.

Balance Holes:
Balance Holes placed on the bowlers PAP will cause earlier and smoother motion. Balance holes placed past the PAP increase flare, hook and flip. Balance Holes placed in the REV-LEVERAGE area cause increased flare, earlier hook and a smooth controlled backend reaction. All layouts are for right-handed players. Please reverse the layout for left-handed players.

Please review the following Drilling Instructions to match up your favorite layout.
Note: The Drilling Instructions are based on a bowlers positive axis point of 5" over and 1" up.
