Avoid Bowling Adjustments Until You Stop Striking

If you have been bowling well and are on a hot streak, then it is important to continue doing the same things until your streak changes.
Avoid bowling adjustments until you stop striking.
It sounds basic and overly simplistic but it has been demonstrated time and time again by top players that if you are stringing strikes, then don’t do anything differently until you stop striking.
Although some top tier players will attest to making slight adjustments while they are stringing strikes in anticipation of the oil pattern changing due to excessive linage, in most cases it is not a good idea to change until your carry ends and you start missing the pocket.
If you are on a hot streak, why change? Ride out your streak as long as you can before making any
adjustments.
No bowler stays hot forever but it makes little sense to adjust when you are still carrying your pocket hits.
If it isn’t broke, don’t fix it. Stay out of your own way.
Keep it simple and strive to hit the pocket consistently and adjust when your ball reaction calls for an adjustment.
Avoid adjusting from poor shots. When you made a good shot and your
bowling ball reaction does not lead you to the pocket, then it is time to change something.
Between sessions when you are bowling well, get back to the practice lanes and tune your “A Game.” It is a benefit to keep doing the things which are helping you bowl well.
If you are accustomed to working with a professional bowling instructor, it can work in your favor to continue doing so to prolong your hot streak.
Keep your game tuned by practicing for specific competitive events.
Make certain you maintain your bowling ball surfaces so your equipment is ready for each challenge.
Enjoy your hot streaks and avoid bowling adjustments until you stop striking!
