If you feel your bowling is getting a bit stale and you are not performing nearly as well as you should, consider there are a few general bowling tips which are very easy to implement and can bring positive results.
Here are general tips for everyone regardless of your skills or average range:
*Smooth, well paced steps.
*Swing the ball with little or no arm tension.
*Stay behind the bowling ball until the moment you release it.
*Avoid forcing the release.
*Keep your eyes focused on your target and take dead aim.
*Avoid putting the “vulcan death grip” on your bowling ball.
*Apply consistent gripping pressure throughout your swing cycle.
*Hold your form at the foul line.
*Avoid overlooking routine spare shots.
If you have any concerns about aspects of your game, consult an experienced bowling instructor. It may be time for a bowling tune-up lesson. Rely on your best assets when bowling in competition. Experiment with your game in practice sessions. Use your full powers of concentration for the few seconds of time it takes to set-up on the approach and deliver your ball to your target.
