The Firing Inferno is the first International Series to use EnMotion coverstock. EnMotion with high gloss finish paired with the Inferno core design results in a ball that is clean through the front part of the lane, has tremendous mid-lane recovery and excellent forgiveness. To understand the International Zone Coverstocks better we will be using a 1-10 number scale system after the coverstock name to describe Response Time. Response Time is how fast or slow the ball changes direction when it encounters friction. The Higher the number the Faster the ball will change direction similar to Skid/Snap. The Lower the number the Slower the ball will change direction similar to Smooth Arc.
Out of the box: With it's High Gloss finish, the Firing Inferno is an ideal ball for medium-dry to medium-oily lane conditions.
If your Firing Inferno goes too long: Dull the surface with 800-grit or rougher abrasive to get the Firing Inferno to roll sooner to increase its hooking action.an ideal ball for medium-dry to medium-oily lane conditions.
If your Firing Inferno hooks too early: First sand the surface with 800-grit or finer abrasive, then polish your Firing Inferno with Brunswick's Factory Finish High Gloss Polish, to help increase the length through the front part of the lane.
