Brunswick Fortera Exile:The
Fortera Exile features amazing length with the strongest backend reaction we've seen from a Brunswick ball. The great thing about the Exile is that while is is very aggressive at the end of the lane, it's still very easy to read and avoids over/under. This ball is a winner!
The Fortera Exile is the definition of skid/flip.
The all new Fortify reactive coverstock is performance enhanced using additive chemistry technology. Finished with Royal Compound and Royal Shine, this coverstock will provide easy length with the quickest response to friction, to date.
The Fortera Flip core was designed for an enhanced breakpoint and maximum continuation.
The Fortera Exile will allow you to create the proper angle into the pocket from inside angles and on medium-heavy conditions.
REACTION SETUP
The Fortera Flip can be drilled using the standard drilling techniques developed for asymmetric core bowling balls.
LIGHTWEIGHT ENGINEERING
At Brunswick, the unique core shape of each individual ball is used for weights from 14 to 16 pounds. This approach to lightweight ball engineering provides bowlers with consistent ball reaction characteristics across this weight range. At 12 and 13 pounds, Brunswick uses a generic core shape with a RG-differential that is close enough to the 14 to 16 pound shape so the same drilling instructions can be used.
The
Fortera Exile is currently selling for $144.99 and rates a 229.7.
Brunswick Melee Cross:The
Melee Cross is the definition of a benchmark ball. This ball is so smooth and is a beast on medium-heavy lanes. This is as predictable and controllable as a ball can get. When the lanes get tough, this ball will help you decipher the reaction. Don't be afraid to polish this ball either as it takes surface adjustments really well!
The Melee Cross is designed to provide more overall hook with a smoother ball reaction than the original Melee.
The new Savvy Hook Solid reactive coverstock is designed for versatility and more traction in oil. Even with its matte finish, this ball gets good length through the heads, reads the mid-lane and finishes with power.
The Melee Low RG Symmetric core allows the Melee Cross to rev up quickly which will provide bowlers with a consistent reaction on a variety of lane conditions.
REACTION SETUP
The Melee can be drilled using the standard drilling techniques developed for symmetric core bowling balls.
