The Pink Panther features a highly polished reactive resin coverstock with a symmetrical core, a 5" flare potential, and is designed for a stable roll in the mid lane and matches well on medium-heavy oil conditions.
To offer a couple of suggested layout patterns for the Pink Panther ball, let's begin with one pattern which transitions smoothly in the mid lane and has continuous back end motion to the pocket. This first layout matches well for the player who does not have a high rev-rate but has more revs than straighter, "stroker" type players. The Pin is located 5 1/8" over the Positive Axis Point (PAP) and 1/8" up with the CG being 1 1/2" right of the grip center. A balance hole is used to stabilize the ball motion and the hole is a 3/4" hole by 2" deep positioned on the PAP.
This layout also uses a dual angle pattern of 45 degrees x 5" x 45 degrees.
Another very smooth and controllable mid lane reaction layout with a stable back end motion is positioning the Pin 4 1/2" over to the PAP with a CG placement 1 1/2" over and 1" up. The balance hole is 3/4" by 1 1/2" deep positioned 4" over and 1" up. The dual angle layout reference is 40 degrees by 4" by 40 degrees.
