Avoid forcing your swing and release to start your next game.
Adjust your angle of attack. Either move your feet and target toward oil or away from oil to increase or decrease your ball skid distance depending on where you are missing the pocket.
Change bowling balls if you must. Look for a smooth and consistent arc motion as your ball travels down the lane.
Place most focus on aligning to the pocket.
Pay careful attention to spares. Reducing the number of open frames is the easiest way to see improved scores.
Avoid overpowering the lanes. Instead make smooth deliveries using less hand action and take a straighter path to the pocket.
Avoid rushing your steps and then as a result, you force your swing and release.
Stay in balance and keep your head very still as you walk and swing your bowling ball.
Place full focus on your aim point.
Hold your form at the line until you see your ball pass over your aim point.
Another key is to retain good body posture while you bowl. Avoid bending suddenly at the waist prior to releasing your ball. Also, avoid raising your head and shoulders or pulling your upper body back as you are in the act of releasing your ball.
