The Knock Out Black/Blue is a stronger version of the Knock Out, plus it has sparkles (sparkles make everything react better). It still has the Melee Core, but it is wrapped in a stronger cover. The Black/Blue read a few feet sooner than the original Knock Out and is a good 3-4 boards stronger overall for me. If you didn’t get a chance to throw the original Knock Out, don’t pass up the Black/Blue. This ball takes surfaces changes well. For this price point, it really packs a “PUNCH.”

The Eruption Pearl is a prototypical house shot killer in my opinion, especially with the return of the Resurgence core. It is a great benchmark ball for a house shot or something later in a tournament block. When the Power Torq starts to lose its energy, this is a great step down to stay in the same part of the lane. Eruption and Resurgence fans your prayers are answered, plus it just looks good.

The Speed is a step up from the Power Torq. Compared to the Power Torq the Speed will start sooner and will be more overall hook. For a comparison to another HP ball in the Brands of Brunswick line, the Speed will be a little longer than the Track Paragon due to the hybrid cover as well as being a little bit more angular. Depending on the condition, if the Power Torq isn’t quite enough or the Paragon is too much, the Speed will fit that gap.

Are you missing the motion of the GB2 Phenom Pearl….well the GB4 Pearl gives you that but even better. For me, the GB4 read super early and lost a lot of energy compared to GB releases of the past. The GB4 Pearl gives you a great benchmark pearl read on the lanes with a clean motion through the front and middle part of the lane. The motion on the backend isn’t your typical pearl hockey stick, four through the middle when it sees friction motion. Comparing the GB4 Pearl to the Bigfoot, I’d say the GB4 will not read as hard in the mids and be more angular down lane.

I drilled this ball similar to my Mission Unknown at 55x5.75x40. This ball reminds me a lot of the Unknown, but with more length and a little more backend motion. I haven't messed with the cover yet, but I for see that coming because it almost goes too long for my game.

This ball is something. I through it at trade show, so I saw it was super strong in the midlane and great continuation. With seeing that I decided to use a 90x5x30 layout. With my roll balls tend to read a little earlier so I wanted to get some length with a 90 degree drill angle. With that it is still a strong read in the midlane and continuation through the pins. My first full game in league with this ball resulted in a 300 game, so I would definitely say the verdict is in.

I don't recall my layout numbers for this ball. I never had the chance to throw the original Diesel, so with the remake I had to. For a ball with strong cover for its price point and surface prep at box, this ball was pretty clean through the front and mids which retaining enough energy on the back end to go through the pins. Comparing this to the Kinetic Ruby the Diesel has a little more length than the Ruby and an overall smoother shape

I never had the original Onyx, but now I wish I had. This has been my get out of trouble ball. I used my standard 60x5.5x35 layout. If I were to compare this to the Kinetic Amethyst, I would have to say it’s earlier and a much more rounded ball motion. It’s definitely a must for everyone.

The Bigfoot give me a Melee Jab-type motion that picks up more in the mid-lane and just more overall. I never had the chance to throw the Squatch so I can’t compare them. With moves left, it never stopped making the turn. It also reminds me of a ball that was a huge favorite of mine and that is the Chaos Black. You can’t go wrong with this piece. The color scheme is on point as well.

What do I say about this ball. Compared to th Paradox Black, the Alias is a good 5 boards stronger (asymm drill). It’s is a lot more midlane as well, but it still has enough on the backend. My asymm is drill is 60x5.5x35.

On my symmetrical drill(-5x5.5x35), it is what you would expect from a symmetric core. The motion is smooth and continuous through out the whole lane. When you lay this ball out with the thumb 90 degrees from the MB, it lowers the int diff to 0.01, making the the core symmetrical.

This ball is a must for any tournament bowler!

The Legion Solid is one of my favorite balls and the first out of my bag and the Paradox was the first HP ball I could use more on a regular basis. The Cyborg is a mix of both of those covers. It's a new core in the UMP level as well. I punched mine up with my standard drilling(60x5.5x35) which puts the pin above and slightly right of my bridge and the MB close to the thumb. It is a great mix of the Legion Solid and Paradox. For me I saw the ball pick up in the midlane but still has good length and a lot more backend motion than both the Legion Solid and Paradox. It is a great step down from your Paradox but still stronger than the Legion Solid. It is replacing my LS as my benchmark ball as the first one out of my bag. This is definitely a must have for everyone.

The Cyborg Pearl has been a favorite of mine since it came out. I was disappointed when a Legion Pearl was never made so I was looking forward to this Pearl. The Cyborg was my go to ball fitting between the Legion solid and Paradox. The Pearl give you much more length and is a lot more angular off the spot than the original Cyborg. When a Cyborg is reading too early the Cyborg Pearl is a great piece to go to

The X-treme Heat was a lot of ball when it was released a few years ago. The Heat Ultraviolet brings another solid cover stock to the Heat line, but in a much more versatile fashion. This is a great middle-of-the-road ball that plays well on a lot of different conditions. It is earlier and more aggressive than the Kinetic Platinum. I feel this is the Track version of the Damn Good Verge just a bit cleaner and with less overall hook. The best comparison I can make with the Ultraviolet Heat would be the GB2.

I was a huge fan of the Heat. It was very clean through the front for me and had angular back end motion. With the Heat Xtreme, it has similar type motion but a lot more overall hook and more motion in the lane. This is a steal at this price point for the amount of hook there is in this ball.

I’ve waited a bit to write a review because it was summer time and hadn’t gotten to use this one a whole lot. Out of the last few Kinetic releases, this one is the cleanest and most angular. Actually I think this is the most angular of any shuttle core release.

The return of the shuttle/kinetic core. I can't say how much I love this core. It is a great fit for my game. I drilled this just like all my other stuff 60x5.5x35. I was never able to throw the original Kinetic but all I say is this is fast becoming my favorite ball in my bag. If I had to compare it to others in the Track line, it is stronger than the Heat, but less than the Cyborg/Cyborg Pearl. This ball does stand up a little on the back end and goes through the pins great. I've never had a ball the seems to go through them as hard as this one does. It makes a distinct sound that people notice.

The Kinetic Ruby is a great complement to Emerald. I used my standard layout of 60x5.5x35 on both. The Ruby reads the lane much sooner than the Emerald, but still has some pop on the backend. I tend to like a smoother/continuous reaction and this ball definitely give me that. The Emerald was over/under a lot for me, so when I saw a solid version was coming I was excited. My favorite ball ever is the 505T. This is a great benchmark ball in my opinion. For the price point, it is a very strong piece.

I've thrown my Logix for two league sets already. I put my standard latout(60x5.5x35), which I had on both my Legion Solid and Cyborg Pearl. These two pieces are some of my all time favorites. What I see out of the Logix is the motion of the Legion Solid with a little more pop downlane. I know this is used all the time, but it is super clean through out the lane. This is everything I was looking for in a Legion Pearl that was never made. For my it's smoother of the spot than the Cyborg Pearl but more than the Legion Solid(and more length.). If you had the 811A and are looking for its replacement....this is it. This one is going to get a lot of lane play.

I have to say the HP balls just keep getting better and better from EBI. In the past I haven't been able to use them a whole lot but that started to change with the Paradox.

The Mako picks up where the Paradox left off. The core has changed and their is a stronger cover on it, but don't let that fool you. This ball actually pushes through the fronts easily and still has a lot of energy of the spot and great continuation through the pins. That holds up when you keep moving in deeper as well. This is a change from the Paradox for me because it would tend to lose its energy and start to burn up before the pins. This is a great addition to any tournament players bag.

I used my standard layout of 60x5.5x35 on my Attack. I originally threw it at the summer trade show and was very impressed. After throwing it in league, I'm even more impressed. It has similar motion of the Mako, but a bit longer in the midlane and much more backend motion. If I missed right it still had enough energy to get back to the pocket and go through the pins correctly. You definitely won't be disappointed with the Mako Attack.

If you loved the original Paradox...you’re going to really love the Paradox Black. I used a 60x5.5x35 layout(my standard) on mine. The first full set I was able to use it I had a set of 258-290-290-838.

I thought the first Paradox was good, but the Paradox Black, I think, is better than th first one. It has the same cover but the Black makes it a little cleaner and sharper off the break point. I’ve only thrown it at box surface, but I feel with polish you’ll definitely see a very angular motion down lane.

The Paradox trilogy is actually what I was expecting from the Paradox Pearl. For me it is cleanest through the front part of the lane out of the Paradox line. I had mine drilled with the pin under the bridge and I still had a lot of angular downlane motion. This is my favorite of the three.

The Track Paragon….WOW. That is pretty much all I can say about this ball. This is not your typical high-end asymmetrical solid ball. Being a big ball it wants to read the mid-lane a lot, however, when it gets to the breakpoint, it stands up a lot and doesn’t lose energy. With high-end solids, you see this time and time again, but that is not the case with the Paragon. The Paradox Red was the strongest i-Core cover I had seen and wasn’t as versatile as the Paragon. If you are a Paradox fan, the Paragon is a must.

I was able to throw this ball at our local demo before I received mine. I must say I was really excited after seeing its motion. I used my standard layout(60x5.5x35). This is the first HP Pearl we’ve had in the brand in awhile. The motion reminds me a lot of the Verdict Pearl, just a bit stronger. For an HP Asymm Pearl it definitely retains enough energy to have pop on the backend. The first set I threw it I had 278-300-269(847)-244 for 1091. This has been the first out of the bag and will be for awhile.
