About the Bowler

BLACK OPS
Drilling: 5 1/4 x 5 x 3 (X-hole on my axis)
Finish: Box Finish, 1500 Grit, Polished
Speed – 15.5-16.5 MPH
PAP – 5 1/4 & 7/8 up

The Black Ops uses the ever popular Core and Coverstock from The Break and the combination that has produced amazing results will be doing it again in this piece. The low RG and high Differential creates a great mid-lane/backend reaction. This ball definitely gets through the front of the lane with ease and when I am looking for that crisp motion on the backend, this will be the ball I throw. I believe this ball will match up well for most any player on a wide variety of conditions as well. This will be one of the first balls out of your bag on most conditions, very readable ball, will easily tell you if you need to go Stronger or Weaker, but most times you can staff with this one.

About the Bowler

BOOST CARDINAL RED PEARL
Drilling: 6 ¼ x 4 x 4 ¼ (Pin above Middle Finger)
Finish: Box Finish
Speed – 15.5-16.5 MPH
PAP – 5 1/4 & 7/8 up
I seem to have trouble clearing the front part of the lane when they break down and dry up. I have had success with this type of drilling on other balls and the Cardinal Boost is no different. Our boost series definitely is a great performance value especially for the price point. This ball is definitely clean and clears the front part with little effort. Has plenty of recovery and doesn’t seem to lose any hit regardless of how deep I want or need to go. Ball will be great for shorter patterns and late block tournaments. Also a great starter ball for those looking to move up from a House Ball or a Youth Bowler looking to buy his first “League Ball”, you will not be disappointed.

About the Bowler

BREAK DOWN
Drilling: 5 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 4 1/4 (Pin in my middle Finger)
Finish: Box Finish 4000 (NEAT “T” Pad)
Speed – 15.5-16.5 MPH
PAP – 5 1/4 & 7/8 up

The name says it all on this one. When the lanes break down don’t be afraid to grab this thing. With the slightly higher RG it gets through the front part with a little oil and lowered the Differential to lessen the flare so it doesn’t over react on the backend like many balls do. It stays controllable and smooth even on lanes that may be messy for most. It is not a big hooking ball, which makes it so great, it is designed for a smooth transition and controllable backend. When the lanes are breaking down in the middle of the block or towards the end of league, don’t be afraid to grab this ball.

About the Bowler

CHEMICAL X
Drilling: 5 x 4 x 4 ¼
Finish: Box Finish, 4000 Grit
Speed – 15.5-16.5 MPH
PAP – 5 1/4 & 7/8 up
As I have said before, I am a huge fan of Symmetrical balls and this one is no different. Looking at this ball one would think you wouldn’t be able to throw it on most patterns unless there is a puddle of oil. It has a lot of tread under the 4000 top finish. For me I am able to throw it on multiple patterns. It doesn’t want to burn up early, it picks up the mid-lane and continues very well. Fresh patterns ultimately seem to be the best as it tames down those crisp backends and blends the pattern nicely. Very smooth but strong off the end of the pattern and keeps the pins low and gives me better carry percentage. Just another great benchmark and will be used on multiple patterns. Those with more Revs, can smooth out the finish or even polish it, I think this is a great addition!

About the Bowler

DREAM BIG
Drilling: 5 x 4 x 3
Finish: Box Finish, 4000 Grit
Speed – 15.5-16.5 MPH
PAP – 5 1/4 & 7/8 up

By far the strongest ball in the 900 Global line and that I have thrown in a long time. I am not always a fan of Asymmetric balls, but this ball really reads the lane well for me especially in a little bit of oil and then once it starts to make the move it keeps going (lots of continuation and retains energy), which you don’t see often with a stronger ball. I think that’s the most impressive attribute for me. The 79 Alert Solid Coverstock at 4000 surface out of the box should be plenty of surface, but you can add to it for lower Rev-rates, higher ball speeds and if you are bowling on something with a lot of volume. On your THS, you should be able to get inside in the oil where other balls won’t normally hook, if you swing it out it doesn’t over react and should still have plenty of recovery and hitting power to finish that STRIKE.

900 Global Respect

About the Bowler

RESPECT
Drilling: RICO (Pin in Palm, CG 45 deg with X-hole in line 6 ¾ away)
Finish: Box Finish 1500 Grit Polished
Speed – 15.5-16.5 MPH
PAP – 5 1/4 & 7/8 up

Looking for a Benchmark ball? Want a ball you can throw on just about anything? Don’t look any further than the Respect. I love me a little Symmetric Core with the 79 Alert Hybrid coverstock. The core produces a strong, heavier roll and combined with the Hybrid cover completes this ball nicely. Surprisingly you are able to move deeper on the lane and still get this ball to backend with power. This is usually the first ball out of my bag to read what the lanes are doing. I am able to move right and go straighter and also able to move left and bend it. Just a very versatile ball for most styles.

About the Bowler

RESPECT PEARL
Drilling: RICO (Pin in Palm, CG 45 deg with a hole in line 6 ¾ away)
Finish: Box Finish
Speed – 15.5-16.5 MPH
PAP – 5 1/4 & 7/8 up

I figured since I like the Respect so much, I would drill the Respect Pearl identical. Comparing it to the original Respect, I would say that the Pearl is a bit less overall hook, but has a little more movement on in the downlane motion. Obviously the pearl coverstock makes it cleaner through the front which entails to a little harder response to friction downlane. This is a great go to ball when the Respect just won’t do it for you but you want a similar reaction. The Respect Pearl and the Respect is definitely a great 1-2 punch for that benchmark balls you are looking for.

About the Bowler

Wanted to chime in here, I have had this ball for a month now and it is my new favorite! Definately still has that Columbia300 mid-lane combined with continuous strong angular reaction on the backend. Just love the way you can read a lane with this ball. It is one of this first balls out of my bag. It is stronger than the Power Swing earlier on the lane, but still has that backend reaction you need to strike! Check this ball out guys/gals!!!
