I like the color combination, the swirl looks neat rolling down the lane. It was a bit stronger than I expected for the price-point, but well suited for lower volume. It reminds me of the Tropical Heat, strength-wise. It's not what I would choose for myself to play straight up the boards when it's really dry, though.

When my HyRoad was moving a bit too early or hard, the Boost Pearl let me play roughly the same line with a little more length and it turned the corner a bit more patiently. It's smooth, but not lazy... an energetic but controlled arc going through the deck. I left the out-of-the-box surface alone, which was just fine.

I believe this uses the original Wisdom core. I'd be interested in a new S43 (Cardinal Red/Cream) with the Purple Jewel core. It's similar to the Boost/Wisdom but has a bit more pop on the back, which is not "better", just different.

What you get for the price-point makes this ball interesting - it has something for everybody. I've seen it work well with lower speed/revs, those with higher rev rates will like the smoothness and control. Once again, on lower volumes - you'd have to adjust the surface or use a different ball otherwise.

Strike-in-a-box. Moves early, strong off the breakpoint, controllable, versatile, knocks out 10 pins. There were early reports of an unusual number of high games - was not surprising after I got a chance to use one. 900G got the core/cover combination perfect. They should keep this ball around for a while, or re-release it with a different name/color when the time comes... so it's always available and I don't have to stockpile. I've been dropping down to the Network when my Brunswick Mastermind becomes too much.

The ball looks great in person - for some reason photos make it look blander than it really is. It's like how it's hard to capture mother-of-pearl in photos - and that's kind of what it looks like: a brown/gold mother-of-pearl with a sort of 3-dimensional quality.

I'm neutral on the "Network" name and logo. Actually, I don't like it - I'm an IT/Software Developer and it does not appeal to me. Now, root beer appeals to me. I agree with the Bowlers Deals review that it looks like root beer and I've been calling it the Root Beer Ball. In fact, I think they should stop production of the "Network" and change it to "Root Beer". Maybe release an F90 "Cream Soda" version or an XPT74 Hybrid "Root Beer Float".

It's a great ball - a must have that would work well for a lot of people.

This is the BMF of AMF. The cover strength is enormous, it turns the corner hard for a solid, strong continuous roll that does not give up when it meets the pins.

How does it compare to a Freight Train? For me... with the same layout I could go deeper and it made a sharper turn.

Does it compare to the current flagship heavy oil balls of other brands? Yes. Easily. But this one comes in black, huzzah!

If you're looking for a heavy oil ball - keep the Incinerate in mind for your top choices.

Behaves exactly as advertised. Clean through the front, reads the midlane nicely, strong arching backend. I polished mine for a medium THS that breaks down quickly at one house I'm at where it's been a goldilocks ball - anything weaker has been unpredictable, anything stronger... can't push through the front. Easy to control, forgiving motion. I wanted something stronger than my Wrecker (a favorite)... but not drastically - and that's what I ended up with.

It's a cool looking ball in person... looks like a sparkly fireball. It grabs attention, a couple people have already asked what kind of ball it is, but I like that AMF has not been putting out wild colored designs... as seems to be the trend.

This is my first Brunswick ball since the Defense Zone. The pro shop ran out of Hyper Cells and recommended the Mastermind - so I gave it a shot.

Hook monster is correct... it's ridiculous. I can play deeper, more comfortably than usual - often finding that I have no choice. But I can be confident that it's going to turn the corner hard and keep going - so long as there is sufficient oil to keep it from burning out.

It's awesome... a nice reintroduction to Brunswick for me.

The "White Ball" has worked well for me on medium/light oil. It's neat looking, not pure white... a bit creamy - periodically asked about it because it's purdy. I wondered how dirty it would get - just wipe it off with cleaner and it's good as new.

Goes long and has a moderate angular motion off the break point, as advertised. Often a first ball at a house with stingy management that does not put out much conditioner (or service in general). With the out-of-the-box finish, I would not call it a dry lane ball - it's a step right above that. During maintenance, I polished mine with Track Magic Shine - it started traveling further down lane than I was expecting. Realized later that it was glossier than a second 400A I had picked up - so I assume it's a dull polish when new. The extra length suited my needs, so I'm keeping it at a higher gloss.
