I drilled mine 60 x 4 1/2 x 40 to put the pin just slightly above my fingers. This ball absolutely dominates on heavy oil patterns. If you loved the Nirvana, this ball will give you more hook, more mid lane reaction, and great continuation through the pin deck. If this was a golf club it would be the Driver! You want a ball that allows you to be left of your friends, giving you great forgiveness with the most aggressive ball motion possible, this MUST be put in your bag! There are not enough great words about the dynamic performance of this ball!

Anaconda- Another winner in the Advance Performance Line. If you liked the
Rattler, Python, you will be in love with the Anaconda. For me the Anaconda is
stronger than the Python, but hooks less than the Diamondback. For those of you
who loved the old Brunswick Inferno this ball should excite you. The Anaconda
uses an updated version of the Inferno core which means this ball will rev up
quickly! I found this ball to be very predictable and reads the lane extremely
well. I prefered to polish mine to take the rough buff finish off, which makes
this ball a great match for medium patterns and allows for predictability with
moves as the lanes break down.

Wow! Brunswick has come up with a ball that absolutely is one of the hardest hitting balls I've ever seen. I have two of these balls, and I cannot say enough.
My favorite layout with this ball is a pin down (50 x 5 x 35) I was able to go with a very strong drilling because of this balls cover and core combination. I am able to stay very aggressive with my speed and due to the core, this ball revs up very quickly, hitting the pins with great force and continuation.
I would definitely pull this ball out immediately on my league shot. It just give the bowler a lot of forgiveness and assistance. Its a ball I think every bowler should have in their bag.

All I’m going to say is if you don’t have one of these in your bag, you are seriously behind the competition. This may be one of the best balls Brunswick has put out in a long time. This ball is so versatile it matches every bowlers game. Low rev, high rev, or like me a medium rev player, it doesn’t matter; this ball will give you the results you are looking for. With the new Savvy Hook Hybrid reactive it provides the traction in oil required for a huge variety of lane conditions. This ball has easy length and strong mid lane response. Check out my video on Facebook, I showcased 3 different shots, to prove its versatility as well as its amazing traction on the lane. I cannot say enough about this bowling ball.

I drilled my first one 75 x 5 x 35. It is incredible to watch it go through the fronts, and its very aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Its color combination makes it look awesome as it drives through the pin deck. This is also a benchmark ball by Brunswick, one that will definitely be in my bag for all the bowling tournaments I attend. Feel free to email me at [email protected] should you have any questions or would like me to email my videos on this ball.

I would rate this ball a strong 5!? It is one of the cleanest balls through the
heads and has a nice strong response to friction.? The great characteristic of
this ball as after the repsonse it has a strong continuous backend? It is a
great ball to turn to if you your stronger equipment is going to early or
burning up energy early.? This ball really reads the lane and allows for
predictable moves.? A must have in every bowlers aresenal this year.

Cutting Edge Pearl

Brunswick continues to do an amazing job of producing equipment that allows every bowler to fill holes in their arsenal. That’s exactly what the Cutting Edge Pearl gives every bowler. I drilled mine 45 x 4 1/2 x 35, as this ball has a rating of Flip-75, making this ball have a sharp hooking motion off the breakpoint. I feel this will be a great go to ball when the lanes are breaking down, or for those bowlers who seem to get handcuffed in wet dry conditions. Due to its pearl cover stock it will be very easy to get the ball down the lane. This is a must have for bowlers with slower ball speed, as it will give you the length and backend necessary for success. This is a very impressive ball and will give the bowler some versatility as to how they play the lanes. Feel free to contact me by email with any questions; [email protected].

The Diamondback is a versitile ball with quite a few options for the bowler. At its original 2000 surface it provides the right traction for medium to oil conditions and with its continued ball motion provides a strong hitting ball. The Diamondback also works well with polish, if you have a Rattler in your aresenal probably don't need to do this, but works well if your house tends to play a little drier.

Edge Blue Pearl

I drilled my Edge Pearl 50 x 4 1/4 x 60 putting the pin below my fingers. This ball gets through the front part of the lane with ease, with a surprising strong backend motion even with the pin under drilling, and has great stored energy creating an explosive hitting power through the pins. This is an ideal ball for medium to light oil conditions. When everyone is moving deep inside, you can pull this ball out, and play the lanes with straighter lines with excellent entry angle to the pocket. This ball also responds very well to cover changes. This is an excellent ball for league, and for shorter sport shot oil conditions. Feel free to contact me by email with any questions; [email protected].

The Edge Purple Solid

I drilled my Edge 55 x 4 x 35 putting the pin just above my right index finger. This ball is all about control and consistency. I’ve altered the coverstock quite a bit, but have found that I love it most with a 2000 grit cover. This ball is great for medium oil as well as tougher sport conditions. I used this ball during the team event in Nationals and had a great look with it. This is also a great go to ball if the lanes transition or break down. I think this ball will be suitable for most league shots as well.Feel free to contact me by email with any questions; [email protected].

I drilled mine 70 x 4 1/2 x 40 to put the pin above the fingers. The intent was to match the angular back end motion of this ball. This will be a great ball for most house patterns, or medium to light oil pattern. I found I could play more direct angles with this ball because it delivers a predictable angular motion off the spot. It is incredibly clean through the front part of the lane, with a strong angle when it clears the pattern. In my arsenal this ball will most likely be a ball I go to when the pattern breaks down and there is a lot of traffic on the lane. I also see this as a ball that will allow great predictability on lighter oil sport patterns. This ball is absolutely incredible!

I drilled mine 75 x 4 1/4 x 70 keeping the pin below the fingers to align with the smooth reacting ball motion. Make no mistake about this ball it matches up on light oil, dry lanes, and wet dry conditions like no other ball. This ball took quite some time to develop, and it was awesome smooth ball motion, this ball will give you the versatility possible to handle when lanes transition or become dry. With this ball you will see a urethane type ball motion, but only stronger. Found this ball matches up on house patterns fairly easily and allows me to keep the line to the pocket. Very impressive ball that gives me great predictability off of the friction part of the lane.

Fanatic BTU Pearl

You have wet/dry conditions? No problem, get the Fanatic BTU Pearl to combat wet/dry or light oil conditions. I drilled mine 55 x 4 x 25 putting the pin above the fingers. I used this ball on both house and sport shot conditions and it gives you an incredible option on how to attack tough lane conditions. On the house shot, I played right in the highest friction part of the pattern with incredible predictable ball motion with continuation through the pins. I couldn’t believe how hard this ball hit and most impressively the unexpected strong ball motion. Along with its performance characteristics is the aesthetically pleasing look going down the lane, a silver ball just looks cool crushing the pins! This consistent ball motion of urethane with the incredible hitting power of reactive resin makes this a can’t miss combination. Put some versatility in your game, and be able to attack the lanes when conditions get tough with this incredible bowling ball! One of the best balls I’ve thrown for strong, predictable, and continuous motion on the lanes. This cover and core combination allows the SS Fanatic to easily get through the front part of the lane, clear the pattern with a strong continuous motion through the pin deck. Easily can use this ball on variety of patterns, I’ve seen the best results on medium volume patterns, or pattern that are shorter in length. I drilled my SS 70 x 3 3/4 x 40. I can’t say enough about the versatility of this ball. Feel free to contact me by email with any questions; [email protected].

This is an incredibly versatile ball. The new DOT technology allows you to lay this ball out any way you choose, with guaranteed performance. I decided to drill mine 45 x 4 1/4 x 35. This ball with its advanced flip 73 rating allows for the stronger drilling and yet a strong arcing motion on the back end. Laying off the drill angle will allow the bowler to see more of a flip motion to this ball, drill angle of 70 degrees for example. I’ve found the cover to be very versatile as well, and this ball really seems to have the best ball motion when I have the surface at 3000. I really think this can be a benchmark ball for most bowlers and this ball will match up incredibly well on house patterns.Feel free to contact me by email with any questions; [email protected].

The Hero

The name of the ball The Hero is fitting for what this ball can do. If you are looking for a ball for medium to light oil this is the superpower you are looking for. This ball is incredible on so many levels. For its price point it might be one of the best on the market ever. I absolutely love this ball, and every bowler I’ve recommended it to has loved it. Its a can’t miss bowling ball. It gets through the front, reads the middle of the lane with easy, and when it clears the pattern has strong hitting power with continuation through the pin deck. Its hitting power is incredible, as my strike % with this ball increased immensely. I drilled mine 45 x 4 1/4 x 30. I use this ball on a variety of patterns and trust its motion to give me the results I’m looking for. This pearl reactive with DOT technology allows you to drill it anyway you want and have great performance. This ball is awesome! Feel free to email me with any questions at [email protected].

If you are looking for the biggest hooking ball in the Brunswick’s line, the Kingpin is your answer. I drilled mine 70 x 4.5 x 35, this layout puts the pin above the fingers, and giving the ball a little push down the lane. With its ultra low RG core, it revs up up the core, allowing this ball to recover from all parts of the lane. The ball allows you to play further in, easily gets through the front part of the lane, has excellent stored energy allowing it to punish the pins with its continuous driving motion through the pin deck. This ball is absolutely incredible, I would recommend to use on high volume oil patterns.Feel free to contact me by email with any questions; [email protected].

Kingpin Rule

This ball has a pro-traction rating of 88. Simply put, Brunswick has put together a solid reactive cover stock, with an ultra low Rg core giving you the bowler a ball that you can play in heavier oil, while giving you down lane continuation that every bowler loves. I drilled my King Pin Rule with a 65 x 4 1/2 x 35 layout. With these stronger balls, I’ve found more success drilling them slightly weaker then I drilled them several years ago. This ball will give you the ability to play left, with a great strong arcing motion, and the strong hitting power through the pin deck. They great color combination also makes this pretty cool look going down the lane. People will definitely know when you’re using this ball. Magnitude 035

I drilled my Magnitude 035 with a pin below drilling; 50 x 4.25 x 60. I wanted the layout to match the natural characteristics of the ball. First off; if you love strong, predictable, and powerful ball motion; the Magnitude 035 is for you. The is easily a benchmark ball for a league bowler! If you are tournament player, and you bowl on tough sport conditions the predictability of this ball will allow you to dominate when the conditions get tough. The low differential of this ball allows you to play straighter with a strong, smooth ball motion. I was really impressed with the hitting power of this ball and consistent motion in the mid-lane. Magnitude .035 Pearl

I drilled my Magnitude .035 Pearl 45 x 5 x 35. I chose to drill this a pin up because my Magnitude .035 solid is a pin under and wanted peal to be a little stronger responding especially when the solid wasn’t quite picking up. I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the motion of this ball as its more angular than anticipated. The predictable motion is something I love and this ball’s hard hitting power is very impressive. This is a great ball on league shots, medium oil conditions, or more challenging sport conditions. It gets through the front part of the lane with ease, gives you a very predictable ball motion like all the Magnitude balls, and then on the end gives you the nice flip you would expect from a pearl bowling ball. This is a must for your bad as it could be a benchmark ball or the go to ball when lanes transition. Feel free to contact me by email with any questions; [email protected].

Magnitude 055

First off, this ball looks absolutely awesome going down the lanes! If you liked the Magnitude 035 you’ll be in love with this ball. I drilled my Magnitude 055; 50 x 4.25 x 60. I chose to do this because I wanted the pin below my fingers and duplicated the layout that I used on the Magnitude 035. The biggest thing I noticed is I play the lanes from anywhere to 4-8 boards different then the Magnitude 035. I’m so impressed with the recovery of this ball, and its ability to make its strong predictable motion to the pin deck, and then destroying the rack with unbelievable hitting power. I’m a bowler who loves predictable ball motions, and the Magnitude 055 gives me a strong predictable ball motion that allows for me to make quick adjustments staying ahead of transitions. I strongly suggest getting one of these in your bag immediately.Feel free to contact me by email with any questions; [email protected].

With its new Relativity Flip coverstock allows this ball to easily get down the lane with great flip on the backend. Paired with the low RG core that extends the rotational energy of the ball, allows this ball to be more angular and have more energy as it crushes the pins. The aesthetically pleasing color combination of purple and gold, make this ball look amazing as its destroying pins.
I drilled mine 75 x 4 1/2 x 35. This drilling allows for a great reaction down lane, stored energy for continuation through the pocket, and amazing hitting power the destroys pins. I typically use this ball on medium to light oil conditions. I’ve found it to be a great ball to use when transition happens or the heads have broken down because this ball will be clean through the front of the lane regardless of the lane play. Another great factor to this ball is it responds well to surface alterations. Its a dynamic ball, and could be a great go to ball when your benchmark ball is hooking too much.

This ball is incredible. It has the Relativity reactive coverstock-hybrid creating the ultimate flip. The low RG core extends rotational energy which is great for medium rev guy like myself because it
gives the angular move a boost. I haven’t had too many balls in my hand that skid easily through the fronts, grab the mid lane, and make a strong continuous angular move to the pocket. If you get a chance check out my Facebook video and you will see how this ball makes its move, and continues through the pin deck, its incredible to watch. I have always been a medium rev guy, but this allows me to play with anyone, even the high rev guys. I absolutely love this ball.

I drilled this ball with a pin under to see the characteristics of the ball. I drilled this ball with a 75 x 5 x 70. Its incredible. Due to the fact that the rotational energy is extended, this ball transfers all of its energy to the pins. This is why I was so surprised to see the pin under version drive through the pin deck. In my experiences a lot of my pin under drillings will sometimes lose energy at the pins and deflect more. Not this ball, it drives through the pocket and gives amazing pin action. This ball is incredibly versatile for drilling. I can’t wait to drill up my second one with the pin up, to allow for an even more angular attack to the pocket. This is without question a benchmark ball by Brunswick. Feel free to contact me by email with any questions; [email protected].

This ball is the perfect ball to go to if your Mastermind is starting up too soon. The Mastermind Intellect matches up very well on heavy to medium oil patterns. I recently used one (45 x 4 1/2 x 40) on a 47 foot sport oil pattern. I have the pin closer to my center of grip to keep the reaction smooth with a cover alteration of 1000. In a tournament where most bowlers struggled to have reaction, my ball was hooking once it cleared the pattern. It has amazing predictability down lane, and because of its motion down lane I was able to kick out the 10 pin consistently where others were leaving flat tens.
My other Intellect is drilled (70 x 5 x 30), I left the surface alone. This ball is so versatile. I can play multiple angles with this ball. The great thing is I'm a medium rev and medium ball speed guy (15.6-16.2) This ball when it hits the friction, responds quickly with a strong continuous arc.
I really think Brunswick has hit the jackpot with the Mastermind Line. As a Brunswick Staff member the last 10 years I've seen a lot of Brunswick lines come and go. The Mastermind line gives the bowler the most versatility and ability to compete with the competition.

Brunswick Mastermind Scholar

The Scholar has an Ultra low rg core combined with a high differential making this ball one of the most aggressive and angular pearl bowling balls ever produced. The great thing about this ball is how easily it gets through the front part of the lane regardless of what happens to the heads. When it clears the pattern it has complete stored energy making a strong angular shape to the pocket. Do to its flipping power, this ball can recover from almost anywhere. You can use this ball on almost any pattern, its incredibly versatile allowing you to play multiple angles. With its an awesome color combination this ball looks awesome going down the lane. It looks even better as it penetrates the pins. This ball hits so hard which is a product of all the stored energy its able to sustain due to the cover and core combination.

I’ve drilled one 75 x 4 1/2 x 70. This is a pin down drilling. I wanted to create some versatility in my ball motion. If for some reason my pin above drilling (see below) is going to lane, I can easily switch to this ball to get the ball going sooner. The characteristics of this drilling has made the ball pick up soon, but looks like it has a heavy roll. When the ball clears the pattern it makes a hard aggressive arc to the pins. Then it has a continuous monition through the pins allowing for optimal carry. Since this ball stores so much energy you can still have a pin under drilling look very strong down lane. The Honor Roll A+ cover gets this ball through the fronts with ease. This can easily be the first ball out of the bag.

The second one I drilled 75 x 5 x 35 which is a pin above drilling. I tend to use this drilling on my more competitive sport conditions. By drilling the Scholar this way, I’m able to really get the ball down lane, when it clears the pattern, you can literally see the ball flip quickly and make an angular move to the pocket. I really love the forgiveness of this ball as well as the versatility of the Scholar. If you miss right, with its strong flipping characteristics this ball can recover from almost anywhere. The other perk, is if you tug it a bit into the longer part of the oil pattern, where with most balls you’d leave a flat 10 or 7 (left handers), this ball will react very strongly and punch those corner pins out.

Since the ball has so much stored energy, it hits the pins with strong continuous motion. Also with this potential energy your carry with this ball is amazing. It gives great versatility and forgiveness to every bowler. It is the most incredible pearl bowl I’ve ever thrown. My carry is amazing with this ball, this is a must for your bowling arsenal.

I drilled this ball the same as I did my original Mastermind as I’m using this ball to replace that ball in my arsenal. I drilled it 50 x 5 x 60 putting the pin below my fingers. The Mastermind Strategy goes a little bit longer with a touch more backend compared to the original Mastermind. The biggest characteristic you will notice is how clean this ball clears the front part of the lane and when it clears the pattern gives you a strong backend reaction with excellent continuation through the pin deck. My favorite part about this ball, like the original Mastermind it gives great predictability in its ball motion allowing the bowler to read transitions earlier. This ball will match all bowling styles.

Malee Hook
This ball comes out of the box at a 2000 grit Siaair Micro Pad finish. The Relativity Max coverstock allows for major forgiveness on the lane and great performance predictability. The Melee Low RG core allows this ball to rev up quicker and give the bowler some versatility with their favorite drillings. This ball is great on all types of patterns and will give the bowler the room they need to maximize their performance.
I drilled mine 65 x 5 x 70 which is more of a drilling I do for league shots. The pin is under my fingers making this ball a very predictable yet strong moving off the spot bowling ball. I feel with this drilling this ball will match up to any league pattern. This ball is incredibly versatile so using your favorite drilling will only help enhance the natural characteristics of this ball. You will definitely see this ball move off the spot, as its the most hooking ball in the Melee line. Its such a great ball because it allows you to play multiple angles. Definitely can be a benchmark ball!

This ball has a strong continuous angular motion, with tremendous hitting power. I have two of them drilled up. I did drill one with a shorter 4 inch pin; when clearing the pattern this ball responds quickly and is more of a strong continuous arc.
The other Melee Jab I have drilled up is (75 x 5 1/2 x 30) This ball gets down lane, responds predictably in the fraction and is very angular.
I would suggest using this ball on your medium to lighter oil pattern. You will also find this ball is very responsive to cover alterations. If you feel it reacts too strongly, putting it at 2000 will smooth the reaction down lane.

Method

This has been one of the most incredible releases to date by Brunswick. The Method combines a traction/responsive coverstock and put it around the the Magnitude .055’s core, and you have an amazing versatile ball for every bowler. I drilled my method 60 x 4 1/2 x 40, and altered the surface and found at 1500 grit with a Siaar pad makes this ball give me precisely the motion I love. I can easily play this ball in more volumes of oil, and even on lighter patterns. It gets through the fronts very well, and has a strong response to friction giving this ball some very strong hitting power. The cover is very versatile so bowlers can alter the surface to a combination that works best for them. I really love this ball, and feel this will be a consumer favorite as well. With its new ECS coverstock Brunswick has developed one of its most impressive bowling balls to date. Along with this cover is the creative low rg asymmetrical core is designed to optimize the ball motion with several drilling options. Are you sick of your bowling balls losing their performance too soon? The new cover will allow for longer performance life, and the ability to respond effective to ball surface changes and alterations. This ball is incredibly predictable with the hook potential completely maxed out. This ball will hook in anything, there isn’t enough oil to hold this ball. Its very impressive and predictable ball motion allowing every bowler to make quick and easy adjustments from its very predictable reaction.

I drilled my Nirvana 75 x 4 1/2 x 60. This caused the pin to be below which I really like because I think it matches the natural characteristics of the ball. However with the cover and core combination this ball is one of the most versatile ever for multiple drilling options.

Prism Hybrid

Another one of my favorites in the prism line, the hybrid offers the most predictable ball motion I’ve seen from hybrid bowling ball. When the lanes start to transition or see early hook, this is a great ball to go to. I found I can use this as a benchmark ball on league patterns, but typically use it as a transition ball in tournaments. The last time I was in league, the lanes got real ugly, and I switched to this ball and shot 290. It gives you a lot of versatility, very clean through the front, strong directional move, and super continuation through the pins. This ball has so much stored energy by the time it hits the pin, you will definitely see a noticeable difference in pin action and hitting power. Its an awesome hybrid bowling ball. I drilled mine 70 x 4 1/2 x 40. I love it, and have recommended several bowlers to get this ball with 100% on it getting them results.Feel free to email me with any questions at [email protected].

I drilled mine 70 x 4.5 x 30 putting the pin above the fingers. I cannot say enough about the ball motion of this ball. Without question the best Quantum release to date. This ball is noticeably smooth in the front part of the lane with unbelievable stored hitting power. When this ball hits the pins it will be very clear that this ball has more hitting power than most balls. The Quantum Classic Black is very angular and combined with its stored energy down lane creates a powerful affect to the pin deck unlike any other Quantum bowling ball. I’ve used this ball on a house shot and a 42 foot sport complaint pattern and had incredible ball motion on both patterns. Incredible recovery on a league shot with the ability to miss both right and left. This ball is a can’t miss for almost every type of bowler. Get one of these in your bag immediately. I drilled this ball 60 x 4 1/2 x 75, putting the pin below. This ball easily gets through the front part of lane, and maintains its high axis rotation giving it a strong angular motion through the pin deck. This ball gives me the great 1-2 punch I need on the lanes, if the Quantum Forest Green Solid is burring up too quickly, I just switch to this ball. This makes for quicker and easier adjustments when lanes transition. This ball is incredible, reads the lanes with great predictability. This ball is great for medium oil patterns, and it will give the bowler great confidence with its superior recovery and very strong hitting power. I drilled this ball 45 x 4 x 75. I was a little apprehensive about drilling this high hook potential ball with only a 4 inch pin, but it proved to be an amazing move. This ball easily gets through the front part of the lane, and then transitions in the mid lane to grab and make a strong move left. This layout and ball allows me to be left of the competition early, and really open up a lane. This ball has 3.5 x more coverstock allowing this ball to hit harder and fly pins everywhere. I have so much confidence when throwing this ball, that I can open up the lane, miss right, and still have great recovery with tremendous hitting power. If I had to describe this ball in one word, I say, “Amazing!” This is a must have for every bowler! This is without question a benchmark ball by Brunswick. Revolver- Wow! What a ball, if you are looking for a ball that reacts strong on
medium oily to oily patterns this is the right ball. Brunswick really hit a
homerun with this ball. Brunswick improved the Connextion coverstock to produce
a ball with a new coverstock called ConneXion Grip. What this does is allows
the ball the grip the lane giving great midlane and backend traction. Bowlers
will be allowed to open up the lane and increase their angles using this ball.
Throwing this ball I was surprised at the length I got, but most impressively is
the backend continuous back end reaction. This is a very agressive ball, that
allows me to open up the lane. The strong backend reaction allows me the
predicatability or motion and allows me to read the lane effectively. If you
want a ball that hooks, with stong continous backend reaction on an oily pattern
this ball is for you.

I drilled my Rhino Black Pearl 60 x 5 x 45. With the natural characteristics of this ball to easily get down lane, I wanted a medium response off the pattern. Bowling on wet dry conditions this ball allows me to play directly in the driest parts of lane with great stored energy as it hits the pins. This allows me great versatility when the lanes break down, and would definitely be a dynamic ball to have in your bag when the lanes dry up, or you have an area of the lane where there is lighter lane oil. I’ve been incredibly impressed with this balls hitting power, and ability to drive through the pin deck. Feel free to contact me by email with any questions [email protected].

Very important for the Siege that the correct coverstock surface is used based on your drilling. If you drill a Siege with a pin below you want to put the coverstock at a 500 grit for best overall performance. If you drill it with a pin above a 2000 surface will give you the desired result you are looking for. If the 2000 surface checks a touch to early for you, change the surface to 4000 for more length and a strong backend finish.

Soul Black Smoke Solid

This ball has a medium RG with the CPTv2- Control reactive coverstock. This is a low friction cover that allows this ball to easily get down the lane. It projects through the fronts while gripping the mid lane. It is finished with a 500 Siaair Micro Pad with the Royal Compound finish, allowing this ball to grab in the mid-lane leading to a controllable and continuous hooking motion. I love how predictable the roll is on this ball, and it also allows the bowler the confidence to play medium oil lanes without having to move so deep inside. This is a symmetrical ball, and multiple layouts will work for this ball.

My Soul is drilled with the pin under. I went with a 4 1/2 inch pin, 75 degree mass bias drilling, a 70 degree VAL drilling. I love this balls reaction so much, will be drilling my next one 75 x 5 x 35 to have one with a pin up, to get more length down lane with an even quicker response. This is a must ball for your bag. Looking for controllable ball on low volume oil patterns? This ball is the answer. With its shiny flip reactive cover stock and medium RG core this ball easily gets though the front part of the lane. This ball will skid longer with the medium RG core, but then will respond quickly to friction, later down lane. Because of its flip reactive cover this ball will respond with a controllable flip reaction to the pocket. Check out my Facebook page to see the video of this ball going down the lane.

The one that I drilled up, I used a shorter pin, 4 1/2 inches, because I wanted a little help getting it to makes its move with my medium rev rate. It turned out to be a great choice as the ball motion on this ball is incredibly predictable, and gives me some nice area to play on the lane. With this balls cover and core combination it allows for multiple drilling options. This is a great ball, especially in later blocks with the lanes become fried.

It absolutely destroys pins and has unbelievable continuation through the pin deck. My first two nights in league with the Tenacity I shot 792 and 772 and couldn’t believe the room and carry I had with this ball. It is everything as advertised and more. Tenacity Grit

This ball has been an incredible release by Brunswick. Everybody that I have put in this ball has absolutely loved it. Brunswick rates the Tenacity Grit as a Pro-All Purpose-79. This asymmetrical ball gives strong mid-lane reaction, and strong continuation through the pins. Even though this ball comes out of the box at 3,000 grit, I keep my cover at 2000 grit using a Siaar pad. I’ve drilled my Tenacity Grit with a
70 x 3 3/8 x 35 drilling. I’ve been very impressed with how strong this ball is, and it has allowed me to play on a variety of oil conditions. This ball will get going sooner then the original Tenacity and have a strong arcing motion to the pins. The predictability and hitting power of this ball makes it a quite impressive piece. This will definitely be a benchmark ball for league patterns, and its versatility will appeal to numerous bowling styles.Feel free to contact me by email with any questions; [email protected].

I drilled mine 70 x 4 1/2 x 35. With the new ECS Hook Pearl coverstock merged with the Nirvana Ultra Low RG core this ball offers a very strong backend motion. The ball is very versatile and can definitely be the first ball out of your bag in medium oil to light oil league patterns. Since the Nirvana line is so dynamic anyways I use my True Nirvana during transitions, or when my Absolute Nirvana is hooking too much. This ball has an incredible strong motion off the spot with superior continuation through the pins. This dynamic cover also responds well to surface alterations. Uppercut

This Uppercut is a pearl reactive that combines the Savvy Hook cover with Melee Jab core. This combination gives you unbelievable consistency on any medium oil pattern. I drilled this ball 50 x 4 x 30. This ball gets through the front part of the lane with ease, gives you great mid lane reaction with strong continuous motion on the back end. I don’t recommend using this on heavy oil or real dry lanes, but anything in between those this ball is incredible and will give you the look and pin action you’re looking for. The Uppercut lets you open up a lane, has great forgiveness giving the player a larger area to work with, and the hitting power of a truck. This ball is awesome!

Vapor Zone Hybrid

This is no question, my favorite hybrid by Brunswick. I’m what bowlers would describe as a stroker, I have moderate rev rate with moderate ball speed. With this ball I can stand left and throw it right. I mean throw it anywhere right. I’ve used this ball on several patterns and I can’t believe how I’ve been able to miss right and it keeps coming back no matter what. This ball gives the bowler so much confidence because you know its coming back, and you can really open up the lane. This ball is great for medium to lighter oil conditions. I’ve drilled mine 50 x 4 1/2 x 40. This ball is always in my bag because of its versatility as well as the trust I have in knowing how much forgiveness it provides. Get this ball today and start dominating the lanes. Feel free to email me with any questions at [email protected].

I drilled mine 75 x 4 1/2 x 35, putting the pin above the fingers.
I wanted my drilling to match the characteristics of this ball. The great job Brunswick did was improve the successful PowerKoil 18 coverstock and combined it with a bulb shape low RG core. I think consumers will be surprised at the high performance level of this vintage ball. The Danger Zone easily clears the fronts, and when it enters the end of the oil pattern uses its stored energy to provide a strong continuous ball motion through the pins. Brunswick has been killing it with the release of the Vintage line and this might be the best performing ball of all them.

The Gold Rhino Pro

First of all this ball is amazing. Brunswick is using their Fortify reactive coverstock which is used in Brunswick’s biggest flip bowling balls combined with The High Differential core allows this ball to easily get down the lane, picks up quickly off the pattern, and gives a strong breakpoint to the pins. Bowlers will be surprised with how much this ball hooks. It is incredibly versatile and will allow you play multiple angles. It also respond well to any of your favorite drillings. Also with its gold cover this ball looks absolutely amazing going down the lane. You see the ball rev up as it goes down the lane, and then its strong breakpoint shape makes for a very impressive piece. This maintained axis rotation is a product of the amazing cover and core combination. When you throw this ball you’ll see it easily get down lane while revving up, storing its energy creating a strong backend motion, and then with its continuous motion through the pins will make for an impressive destruction of the pins. This ball hits incredibly hard because it has so much maintained energy also providing improved carry. Get one of these in your bag immediately.

I drilled one 60 x 4 1/2 x 70. This is a pin under drilling. This is my standard drilling for bowling balls I want to use on house shots. When I first threw this ball on a house shot, I was stunned as to how strong the breakpoint shape was, and the recovery I had with the Gold Rhino Pro. The ball hits so hard and has a nice element of forgiveness. Its predictable strong arc with this drilling makes adjustments on the lanes easier. With its cover the ball clears the front part of the lane so well. The house shot I bowl on is 43 feet in length, and I can play multiple angles with this ball. If I want to hook the lane I can, or if I want to play straighter this ball allows me to do just that.

My second one I drilled 75 x 5 x 35. I decided to use this layout for the Gold Rhino Pro so I could use it on my shorter sport pattern competitive shots allowing me a little more length and quicker response on the flip phase. I’ve used this ball on a variety of sport shots. I’ve recently used it on last years Nationals singles and doubles pattern where I was able to play the lanes fairly straight. I had quite a bit a room with this ball. If I missed in a little the Gold Rhino held its line, then cleared the pattern and drove through the pins. When I missed my target a little out, with the strong VAL angle the ball made a quick strong reaction to the pins. It really matched up well with that pattern. I also bowled on a flat, short sport pattern. I was able to get this ball down lane, with great stored energy, and had great ball motion through the pins.

The Gold Rhino Pro looks incredible going down the lanes. Its so awesome that Brunswick is bringing back ones of its old classics, but with a much improved coverstock making it a great ball for todays game. I have an LT48 as well, this ball is about 3-4 boards stronger for me. I’m very confident pulling this ball out of the bag to start my block. It stays so clean through the fronts, its a ball you can you for a long duration. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions; [email protected]

Inferno

This was easily one of the greatest bowling balls in Brunswick’s history, and now the release of the Vintage Inferno is even better. With the new Activator 2.0 coverstock combined with the low rg core provides the ball motion you’re used to seeing with this ball years ago on today’s lane conditions. I drilled my Inferno 65 x 4.25 x 25; putting the pin above the fingers while making the response to friction a little quicker. I used this ball on both house and sport shots. On a house shot, I couldn’t believe how much room I had and was able to hit the pocket with incredible hitting power. Most noticeability about this ball was its clean through the front, reads the pattern incredibly well, incredible strong motion to the pocket, and the ball has minimal deflection as it drives through the pin deck. This ball is just awesome! This ball is a win for every type of bowler and is definite must for your bowling bag. Feel free to contact me by email with any questions; [email protected].

Phantom

The Phantom will provide the versatility all bowlers or all abilities will love. This ball is a strong choice for any bowler because of its predictable characteristics and great ball motion off the pattern. With the ball you can play anywhere on the lane that your game dictates. I drilled mine 5 1/4 x 4 x 4. This put the pin below the fingers giving me a very smooth predictable ball motion that stays in front of me very well. When lanes transition I’m able to smooth the pattern out with this ball. This is definitely a benchmark ball and one of the best symmetrical balls I’ve had the honor to throw. The Phantom is ideal for all types of ball conditions. Feel free to email me with any questions at [email protected].

Vapor Zone

This ball is back and stronger than ever. As someone who threw the original Vapor Zone and was very impressed with its backend ability, I was floored when I threw this ball for the first time. I drilled my Vapor Zone weaker with a 50 x 4 x 50 layout. This ball even with this layout is incredibly angular. I can throw it right and with 100% certainty I know its coming back. Having a ball that really allows you to open up your lines and attack multiple oil patterns really gives you a competitive advantage. Brunswick rates this a High Flip 82, and they weren’t kidding, you’re looking for a ball to skid and then flip off the breakpoint, this is the ball for you. Its traditional asymmetrical core allows you some very creative drillings to make this ball adapt perfectively to your game. Feel free to contact me by email with any questions; [email protected].

Vapor Zone Solid

If you loved the original Vapor Zone, you’ll love the Vapor Zone Solid. A ball designed for heavy to medium oil patterns, this ball is amazing! I drilled mine 70 x 4 1/4 x 25. One of my frustrations as a bowler has been when high rev players are able to move in deep and open the lane. As a moderate rev player I cannot do what they do with a bowling ball. This ball allows me to get in there with confidence as it allows me to open up the lane. The Vapor Zone Solid will get through the front part of lane very clean, and once it clears the pattern will make a strong move to the pocket. Paired with this move is the stored energy the ball creates giving it unbelievable hitting power and improved carry. I just love the versatility this ball gives, and feel I can use this on any condition at any time. Feel free to email me with any questions at [email protected].

This low RG core combined with the Composite Hook Pearl coverstock is an unbelievable combination. I would recommend taking the shine off the ball with a light 3,000 or 4,000 Siaar pad so it doesn’t go too long. This ball is incredibly angular, it has unparalleled recovery on the lanes, and a ton of hitting power. This ball is great for medium oil lanes and has a controlled angular look that would appeal to any bowlers eye. In my opinion, this might be the best DV8 release of their newest bowling balls. I drilled my DV8 Creed 70 x 4 1/2 x 35 putting the pin above the fingers. With this layout, the ball easily gets down lane, reads the pattern, and makes a strong angular move on the lanes. I’ve used this on difficult sport patterns and league. This is a dynamic bowling ball and I strongly encourage every serious bowler get this ball in your bag. For this ball I decided to do the RICO drilling where the pin is directly in the palm or center of grip. This medium RG ball with its pearl coverstock is designed to flip hard. I decided on this drilling to give me some versatility when the lanes break down, or become wet dry. After throwing this ball on a variety of oil patterns, I was actually able to use it on long oil, to medium, and even shorter oil. Everything about this ball is amazing! It gets through the front part of the lane extremely clean, and clears the pattern with the intention of a strong angular ball motion towards the pins. With my RICO drilling its a little more predictable. I’m definitely getting another one to use with my favorite skid flip drilling. This is the most aggressive pearl ball I’ve ever thrown, its awesome! Feel free to contact me by email with any questions; [email protected].

I drilled mine 70 x 4 3/8 x 40. The coverstock name of Composite Bite is very fitting for this dynamic ball. If you are looking for the perfect ball in heavy oil, this is the ball for you. Not only does this ball hook, but it has incredible continuation through the pins, and is such a strong cover, that you automatically have more room for error. Using this on a 45 foot sport shot, I was able to have 3-4 boards of area to hit the pocket. This ball is awesome, definite heavy oil, or first ball out of the bag. DV8 Pitbull Growl

I drilled by Growl 65 x 5 x 40. I chose to go with a little longer pin than normal for me as a medium rev player to gain some length with more potential stored energy. Having a low RG, asymmetrical core, and a very strong cover this ball has an incredibly high hook potential for high oil volume lanes. If you like the look of the original Pitbull you will love the Growl. It has a more angular motion down lane, giving you the bowler more versatility as to how you attack the lanes. Due to the predictability of the ball motion with this ball it makes it great for types of lane conditions.Feel free to contact me by email with any questions; [email protected].

If you only can buy one ball this year, this is the one you MUST have in your bag. This ball is nothing short of amazing. It gets down the lane so cleanly, then when it clears the friction makes an immediate left hand turn. It is incredibly angular. My only advice is give this ball so room to allow it to showcase how amazing it is. This ball is excellent on medium to light oil conditions, it will allow you to have some miss area and you will be impressed with its ability to recovery! It hits will great angular velocity and I couldn’t imagine bowling without it.

I drilled my Vandal 70 x 5 x 35. This kept the pin up which I think makes sense with the natural characteristics of the ball; especially with its cover and core combination.

Beyond Ridiculous

This ball lives up to its creative name. Not only does the amazing color give it a cool look going doing the lane, but its strong response to friction gives the bowler an awesome angle of entry into the pocket. I drilled mine 45 x 5 x 40. I shot a 300 game my second time using this ball and the look I had on the lane was unbelievable. I would throw the ball right and was able to open up the lane with plenty of miss area. As a bowler with higher balls speed and medium rev rate I don’t typically see bowling balls hook hard off the spot, but this ball gave me a look like no other bowling ball I’ve owned before. With its smooth veneer this ball easily clears the front part of the lane regardless of the traffic created in the front part of the lane, it reads the pattern so well, and then when it hits the friction makes a strong angular move to the pocket. This ball is literally beyond ridiculous. Feel free to contact me by email with any questions; [email protected].

Intel

The symmetrical core and new cover combination gives this ball the characteristics of strong and smooth. If you love predictable ball motion, with a strong reaction and incredible hitting power, the intel is the ball for you. I drilled mine 40 x 5 x 65. I’ve been able to use it on a variety of conditions. This is an ideal ball for house shots, and demanding tournament conditions. I’ve also found it allows me to combat the lanes effectively when there are extreme wet/dry conditions created from bowling traffic. The Intel easily clears the fronts, makes a strong but predictable motion to the pocket, and it destroys the pins with great continuation. Katana

I drilled my Katana 70 x 4 1/4 x 35. This ball has been strongly advertised as being a strong angular ball, and it definitely doesn’t disappoint. I’ve been able to use this ball on a variety of lane conditions and despite its characteristics find the ball motion of the Katana to be quite predictable. The Katana clears the front part of the lane with easy, and with its dynamic core you can see the Katana rev up as it goes down the lane. It reads the lane with incredible response to friction, giving you miss room both right and left and with the stored energy from the cover delivers explosive hitting power through the pins. This ball is very impressive, and definitely can be considered a benchmark ball. This ball will be great on a league patterns and medium oil sport patterns. Quick Fix

This ball motion on this ball is excellent. I drilled my Quick Fix 70 x 4.25 x 35 putting the pin above the fingers and allowing this ball to have a quicker response to friction. Radical states this ball will have a very responsive backend with an aggressive breakpoint. With the layout I used, I’ve seen a ball that reads the pattern really well, and makes a strong, predictable arc to the pocket which I actually like. I thought it was going to be a little more aggressive, but I love the motion this ball gives me. I feel I can use this ball on a variety of patterns and oil volumes. This ball responds very well to cover alterations, and with its shape shifter core allows for a variety of drilling options to meet every bowlers needs. This is a great benchmark ball.
