When I drilled up both the All Day and All Night. I was thinking that I would drill them for what i feel there purpose would be for. To me the All Day is a ball I would want drilled stronger to bite up through the oil and for when the lanes start to burn up I would want the All Night drilled a bit weaker, especially for league night.

So that's exactly what I did. I drilled the All Day stronger with the pin below my ring finger, the CG kicked out about an inch and a half to the right of the thumb with a weight hole 5 inches over from center of grip, with a 13/16's bit about 2 1/2 inches deep. Enough to hit the core.

What I found with this drill on the All Day is that it rolled early, giving it a smoother roll thru the front and middle part of the lane, with a great reaction down lane still. I feel like I can play the lanes straighter as well as inside around fourth arrow. You will however need to stay in tuned with the lane and know when to change to the All Night. If the lane is giving you problems inside or don't like to play the lane in to far then the All Night will be the ball of choice.

When I drilled my All Night. I went with a weaker drill on it. Putting the pin above and to the right a bit of my ring finger. I kicked the CG just a bit right of parallel of the fingers and thumb with no weight hole. I feel for me that the drill I used on the All Night allows me to use it 5-10 boards right of the All Day that I drilled.

If you do not wish to play that inside line and your speed is medium to a little slower, than the All Night will be your choice. If your line is the inside line and are a medium to faster speed then the All Day will be the ball for you. There could be some differences depending on each individual but I'm sure your local Pro Shop operator that gets a chance to see you on a regular basis will be able to fit you into the best ball of choice from these two if not both.

The s43 cover is awesome with the Launch core. I was able to drill up the solid orange and yellow Boost. With the lower entry I wanted to have a controllable motion on the lane after the lanes start to dry up, with the extra pop on the backend still. So I drilled mine straight up with pin down below my ring finger and CG kicked a little bit (no weight hole).

What I found with this ball in our line of equipment is that after throwing the All Day and Dream ball and the lanes became drier that I would go to the Boost even before switching to the All Night. For me that holds true most times just because when I move in, I still need a smoother roll at first before pulling out the All Night that gives me more length and backend motion then the Boost. This ball is a great entry level ball.

The other covers for this ball are going to be great compliments to each other. If you're looking for an inexpensive way to get three balls in your 3 ball bag these will do just fine. The hybrid is going to be a 5 board right or left difference from the solid with more motion on the backend. where the pearl will sit is about 5-10 boards ( right or left) more length yet and even more backend.

In both 900 Global and AMF, the Boost series will be weaker than all the other balls in there respective lines. The Dream, All Day, All Night from 900 Global and the Decimate and Torch from AMF will be stronger overall .

The Boost series will come in handy for the Big tournament player and also the everyday league bowler and yes the beginner looking to get a better ball than your everyday spare ball.

Wow is this ball AMAZING!!!
For me it is a great compliment for the Columbia Tyrant. As the games go on and the Tyrant is becoming to much. I switch to my Ebonite Maverick for a foot or two of extra length and a ton of controllable motion down lane. I currently don't have anything stronger than these two balls. On the fresh the Maverick will turn over a bit, I would recommend hitting the surface with a 3000 pad to allow it to pick up just a tad sooner. This way the shape will be even more controllable in the beginning of the night. Be ready for your scores to take flight with the purchase of this great new piece!

With the suspense of knowing or not knowing which one you will open up. The Mission Unknown will perform very well for a majority of players. This ball is amazing! It allows you to play them a little straighter in the beginning of the night and slowly move in as the night goes on. I have found my Mission Unknown for me needs a little more hook in the middle of the lane in order to hit the pocket just right on the fresh. In a couple centers in Rockford, IL. It seems to roll better in games 2 and 3 as the lanes start to dry up a touch. This ball is very companion friendly with the new Track Cyborg and Track Paradox Trilogy. For me the Unknown is about 5-7 boards straighter on the fresh then the Cyborg and about 3-5 boards straighter than the Paradox Trilogy. If you want your chance at the Very Rare Gold ball or the Rare Red ball then I would order before the 20th of September for the opportunity to get the free gold Mission Unknown.

Out of all 3 releases this one not only looks good but gives me a great 1-2-3 punch in my bag. If you have the other two in your bag, this one is a great fit between the two. This one picks up a great mid lane roll and delivers the best Mack truck finish you could ask for. When they say,"Nothing Hits Like A Hammer," this one stays true to that. I have found this ball is great on the fresh THS and on sport I can use it on medium to heavy and heavy oil patterns. This one can take some surface and still perform great when using 500 - 3000 grit abralon as well. Don't be afraid to find the right surface adjustment you need to perform on the many oil patterns out there. This one is a MUST!

Bandit Review by Andrew Jensen Storm and Roto Grip Staff
WOW!!! This is a great ball!
On Saturday I bowled a local TNBA tourney that is being held at Maplewood Lanes in Omaha Ne. I threw the Bandit the whole day. It gave me the best reaction. Mine picks up a good mid lane roll while having the best downlane reaction that I've seen since the Pearl Cell. I had about 2.30 top weight before I drilled. No hole needed. My PAP is 5 5/8 over up a half. Pin is above my ring figer and cg is kicked a little bit. Ends up being a 5x4. Has 3/4 side.
I started the day with team and wasn"t throwing the ball great. Still managed a 622. When singles and doubles started that"s when I started to shine, with the help of the new Bandit. With a 279 in singles, and shooting a 678 series, I knew that doubles was going to be big. I left 3 ten pins all together and 3 splits. Two of the ten pins would come in the first game. One in the first frame and one on the last ball for a 289. The next game would be all strikes except the 3 splits. Two bad shots and a good one in the tenth that left me with he 7-10 split, all for a 211. Oh well, shake it off right? I did just that, after looking at the next seven strikes thinking, I should be able to finish with a 300. The eighth frame was not kind, leaving me the final ten pin I would see. I struck the rest of the way for a 279. Giving me a 779 series. All events I shot 2079.
I'm also bowling league and have the same average plus some.Glad the Bandit is my bag! Hope it's in yours.

It's official My friend Dave Schulte and I won a doubles tourney at North Bowl in Omaha NE.

I threw a 761 with a Cell Pearl and Dave threw a 733 with a Virtual Gravity.
Together we shot 1602 with handicap.
I also finished in 7th for the singles side of it.

First set out of box is awesome!
I shot a 278, 268 and a 245 just missing 800 by 9 with a 791. I needed the first one in the 10th to get it and left a ten pin.
I was shooting with my nephew for an Adult Teen Boy or youth tourney. He used an original Cell and shot 225, 247 and a 204 for us to shoot a 1467 without handicap. He is left handed I should share as well.
I drilled this ball with a 4-5 inch pin. I put the pin next to my ring finger and cg kicked out about 31/2 inches from the center of my grip. I put a 31/32 hole from center of grip through cg about 55/8 . I drilled the hole deep enough to still have just under an ounce of side weight and 1/2 an ounce of thumb.
Over all very predictable and allows you to play straighter with stronger roll than the planet series.
The lanes were broken down enough I was unable to throw the Riot. I will try again tomorrow on fresh oil.

Another winner! Go Roto Grip!

Pin Distance: 4" Pin is below the ring finger
Top Weight: 3.0
Weight Hole: Yes and Low between P2 and P3
Ball Weight: 15
OOB Finish/2000 abl.
My PAP is 5 5/8 over

I could hardly wait to drill the new Infinate Theory. I decided to drill mine this way because it would allow me to have a great follow up to my Theory which is drilled at 45x4x45. It will give me a little more length and a little less aggressive backend. Over all a smooth look.

I got just that on a house pattern. Which is nice for me I like to see a smoother transition. With this pattern it actually still migrates to the pocket very well on the back part of the lane. OOB it was smooth throughout and a strong continuos backend for league. I could play straight or take a step in and wheel on it and it would still perform the way we all like to see our balls, and that is STRIKE!

I just bowled a tournament in Huron SD on the Route 66 pattern and was able to throw the Infinate Theory towards the later half of the first qualifying round. I had hit it with a 2000 abl. pad and that worked well. It would come off the spot a little harder but would roll just as smooth as my Theory.( I finished 3rd over all and threw a 299 in qualifying with the Theory in this tournament as well)

The Infinate Theory is going to be in my bag at all times. This will be a great add on to your arsenal.

I recently drilled up another Mutant Cell.

I put the Pin above my fingers, cg about a 1/2 an inch to the right of my center of grip and the mass bias about an inch from my thumb(to the right). It has 3/8 finger weight and about a 1/2 side.

I really love this one. It gives me a little more length and more of a stronger roll to through the pocket.

Monday I bowled and shot 257, 278 and a 201. I didn't make a move in the last game or I would have shot a better last game. But not bad for throwing second arrow all night.

I bowl tonight! So I'll be back with an update.

On wednesday I was able to throw my newest Mutant Cell. The one with pin above fingers MB an inch away from my thumb and cg about a half inch away from my center of grip. Leaving me with 1/2 side and 1/4 finger. It is a 3" pin.

I had bad timing issues for the first three and bowled horrible.
But then we had to make up for missing last week and my timing started to get better. I struck out for a 207 and also struck out from 7th frame on for a 201. Timing wasn't perfect yet but I was able to finish the night off with a 230+, missing 2 spares.
Those were the only 200's for the night. Timing is everything!

Overall I thought this is a great add on to my bag of Roto Grip goodies.
If you're going to Nationals this is going to be a good ball to take with and use while there for compitition.
HAPPY STRIKING!!!!!

I driled my Nomad Dagger the same as my Nomad and Nomad Pearl. With a 5x3 drill patern. This 5x3 drill has the pin under ring and the cg kicked out with a hole down low.
In doing so it has given me a great arsenal. The Nomad Dagger gets through the heads very clean giving it plenty of energy to stab through the heart of the one three pocket. I have had messengers but this Nomad Dagger puts a new meaning to punishment.
I can play up and in our move way in and curve it.
The Nomad Dagger completes the arsenal of Nomad's. With the three Nomads in your bag, you'll be unstopable!

Monday night I bowled league at mockingbird lanes. In my bag I have a Rogue Cell, Pearl Cell and a Nomad Pearl.

The first game I used the Rogue Cell and shot 257.
The second game I used the Pearl Cell and shot 245 with a split open in the 10th(Threw it bad).
The third game I switched to the Nomad Pearl and shot 249.

Roto Grip has such a great arsenal of equipment!

The Rogue helped me set up good fall back and when it carried down (it being the oil pattern) I switched to the Pearl Cell to still give me a smooth roll but even better reaction off the fall back area(The Backend). Then by the third game when I needed more length and a strong hit to the pocket I started using the Nomad Pearl.

From the Cell series of balls to the Nomad series of balls you can't go wrong with any of them being in your arsenal!

Go Roto Grip!!!!!

Roto Grip you have done it again! The Shooting Star is unbelievable! What a great addition to the rising star. The solid is out of this world and will blow your mind as you see the reaction of this ball.I drilled mine with no hole and the pin is above my ring and cg is kicked out just a little. Wow does it ever pop towards the pocket hard. If you're looking for something stronger to add to your bag this is it! I can't wait to throw this one some more. This addition to the Roto Grip line will give you the edge you need to beat your compitition!

I drilled my Theory with a label stack with the pin above my ring finger and the cg kicked out about 5/8 from center of my grip(to the right) leaving the Mass Bias right of my thumb.
Original thougts were to utilize the balls potential and alow it to read the lane and give me continuous roll through the pocket.
It does just that and more. Man this ball is a truck. Almost need a CDL to get behind the wheel on this one.
Throughout the weeks of bowling in league I have also found that the Theory works well on black/white conditions or wet/dry. I have been averaging 225+ with it at Chop's in Omaha Ne. If you know Chop's you know it can be trying at times. If not at least trying on you mentally. I have found the Theory to work well there as well as everywhere I have bowled tournaments. This bal should be in the bag at all times.

This Frantic is one of the best rolling balls ever. With the color and reaction people see with this ball. Heads have been turning to see what it is and how will it work for them.
It works great! This one should be in your bag!
Can you say honor scores?

The core and cover combo is awesome. It's nice to know I will be able to have this ball with me in future tournaments. League has been turning around since throwing it. Averaging 665+ each week so far. Loving it!

Wow! The Marvel Pearl is Awesome! I drilled mine with the pin down below the ring with the cg kicked out and a hole in the P3 ( a small one). With this drill pattern it allows the ball to see a bit more of the front and mid lane but still give me that down lane reaction I want to see. Man does the Marvel Pearl terrorize the pocket! This one will come in handy. This ball definatly compliments the Marvel.

Just what we were all waiting for! The Pearl Nano is everything I was hoping it would be and more. With both the original Nano and now the Pearl, I'm not sure how the compitition stands a chance. When you have both the origanal and the Pearl Virtual Gravity Nano you will be a step ahead of of your compitition.I drilled mine with the pin above the ring and the cg kicked out a lttle bit leaving the MB to the right of the thumb. I have a amall hole in the P2. This ball rolls great through the front heads and packs a punch threw the pocket just like the original Nano. I will be adding this one to my bag. OMG! The New Track Cyborg is an amazing addition to the current balls in the Track line. For me The Cyborg fits very well behind the Paradox. Once the pardon has reached a point where it is hooking to much down lane and or also burning up to early in the heads. You can easily take out the Cyborg and destroy the pocket as you start to make the moves in on the lane. The Cyborg is a great ball to start with and finish with in league as well. If you have more speed and less hand this ball will roll great for you. If you have a Legion solid and want a little more ball than this will be the ball for you. In my opinion this ball will fit well with a lot of different varieties of bowlers. This one is available at your local BowlersMart Pro Shop already! Stop in and see how it will fit your game so that you also can, "Bowl like a Machine!"

I have to say this is a perfect compliment to the original Cyborg. This pearl is smooth with GREAT motion down lane. This ball has been in my bag ever since I got it. For me it's about 3-5 boards straighter than the original and just destroys the pins as it splits through the 8-9. This would be a great purchase if you like to play the lanes straighter or need a ball to help you as the lanes dry up.

This is one of my favorites in the line of Heat balls. It picks up the middle of the lane better than the previous releases in my opinion. Because of that I find it easier to use this ball in my everyday use during league and it finds a great spot in my bag for the medium to medium heavy sport conditions. Don't be afraid to hit this ball with a little surface to help see more shape on the lanes. It loves its back scratched and you'll see this ball become a whole different animal with anywhere between 1000 grit abralon to a 4000 grit abralon. This ball will be great for those that like to play with speed down and in and those players that can move the ball from left to right.

This is the best bang for your buck when it comes to asymmetric and over all hook potential. This ball is one of the most hard hitting balls I've ever thrown. When this ball hits the pins it grabs everyones attention. The Track Kinetic glides thru the front end and responds very well down lane. It gives you a sharper entry angle to the pocket with control. Due to the modified Kinetic asymmetric core. As the Track Mako starts to eat up the oil. The Track Kinetic takes over and delivers a great 1-2 punch and devour your competion. Both the Mako and Kinetic will perform well together on your typical house shot and also the Open Championships.

The Track Mako is THE STRONGEST asymmetric ball I have thrown to date. This ball is very strong throughout the lane and provides a continuos motion through the pins. This ball is very user friendly and will provide a wide range of versatility within your game. Look for this one to come in handy for not only your typical house shot but also for the USBC Open Championships.

The new release from Track the Paradox Trilogy is an amazing ball! I would say that this ball may go slightly unnoticed with the ever so anticipated EBI International ball release, The Mission Unknown. But this ball is actually a great companion ball to the Mission Unknown in my opinion. The Track Paradox Trilogy is stronger throughout the front of the lane than the Unknown and will hook about 4-5 boards more with an earlier response to the middle of the lane. I love starting with the Paradox Trilogy and then switching to the Mission Unknown when I have to start moving more inside. The Mission Unknown will then pick up the middle of the lane more and respond very well to the pocket without being to over jumpy. I bowl on a majority of HPL lane surfaces where there is descent volume in the front of the lane and clean back ends. Your Typical House Shots (THS).

This spare ball is my favorite ball in the bag. We all know we can strike. Sometimes we don't strike as much as we'd like. For that reason, this ball is a must in your bag. This spare ball not only has some great looking colors but also will help improve your average, by picking up more spares throughout the night of league or tournament play. It just may be the difference between you finishing first or second and taking home more money from your league or that weekend tournament.

Wow, is this ball gorgeous!!! Not only does it look good, it rolls even better. This next addition to the Tactix line doesn't disappoint with the extra voodoo down lane. If you need a ball to scoot through oil and change direction, then this is the ball for you. Especially if you plan on bowling the THS. If your needs are to get a piece that will help you when you move left, then this ball will be excellent for you when the lanes start to open up. This ball will be very helpful on medium sport shots, also on the broken down heavy oil pattern and some that are a little less volume. This one will also pick up a touch more and become very different when hit with some surface. Depending on needs, I would certainly say that this ball will perform well when needing a surface adjustment from 1000 to 4000 grit abralon. I would recommend this ball to many different styles of bowler. Ask your PSO how this one will fit in your bag!

The old Triton Elite is back, and it's better than ever! I have three of them drilled up currently and couldn't be happier. Two pin up and one pin down. The predictable motion this ball gives is ridiculously good. The pin down grabs more of the mid lane but still continues through the pocket. While the other two pin ups give a little more down lane motion. I have found this ball to be a great benchmark ball for my bag, regardless of layout. If you're in the market for a new benchmark ball, this one 's for you. I would highly recommend this ball!

The new Track Tundra is exactly what I needed for the drier house shots. It is so easy to control this ball on friction. Very smooth throughout the lane. Whether you need a ball for a drier house or a ball for when they start to dry out. This ball will be the best piece for your money.I find it to be a good go to ball when my Heat X-treme becomes to much and I want to smooth out my reaction but still get that good motion to the pocket. It is easily 5-8 boards less than the X-treme on a fresh shot. It will turn a tad late on your typical house shot when it's fresh. But make no mistake about it. This Tundra will out perform A LOT of balls as the night goes on!
