900 Global Altered Reality Ball Review by Ric McCormick

Introducing the new 900 Global Altered Reality! This features the S84 Pearl Response Coverstock wrapped around the Disturbance Asymmetric Core seen in the original Reality!

My Altered Reality is drilled pin over my middle finger with the mass bias next to my thumb which is about 5 inches away from my PAP! What I really like about this piece is how much it digs in the midlane and keeps chugging through the pins! This definitely a more angular motion that an RST X-2 and Dark Code for me personally! Definitely can see me using this when the lanes are slick but need a ball to get through that front part of the lane!

Head over to your local Pro Shop and get yours 12/10/21

900 Global Honey Badger Intensity Ball Review by Ric McCormick

The newest addition In the Badger line of bowling balls from 900 Global the new Honey Badger Intensity! This ball features the S70 Solid Reactive Coverstock wrapped around the Grapnel 2.0 Asymmetric Core!

My Honey Badger Intensity is drilled pin under my bridge with the mass bias away from my thumb! What I really like about this ball is it’s the polar opposite to the Honey Badger Revival where the Revival is pretty clean and responsive down lane this Intensity will give you that smoother more controllable motion for heavier and fresh Lane conditions to provide a great 1-2 punch!

Go to your local pro shop and pre order yours today and get it 3/12/21!

900 Global Reality Ball Review by Ric McCormick

The new hook machine from 900 Global is the all new Reality! This ball features the S84 Response Solid Reactive Coverstock wrapped around the Disturbance Asymmetric Core! This ball does come out of the box at 2000 grit which is fantastic for those heavier lane conditions!

My Reality is drilled pin over my middle finger which is about 5 inches away from my PAP with the mass bias away from my thumb! Throwing this ball in tournaments around me is I’m very impressed with how much this ball rolls throughout the whole lane! The reality doesn’t change direction as much as a UFO or Proton Physix but will roll more throughout the lane than those 2! Definitely like adding a different and really good shape for those heavier lane conditions!

Head over to your local pro shop and get yours 1/29/21 to attack those heavy oil conditions!

900 Global Reality Check Ball Review by Ric McCormick

The Reality Check is the newest 900 series ball from 900 Global! This Reality features the S84 Hybrid Beta Coverstock wrapped around the core seen in the Reality and Altered Reality!

My Reality Check is drilled pin over my bridge and is the best of both words regarding the Reality Line! This new one goes through the fronts for me like an Altered but smooth on the backend like a Reality!

Head over to your local Pro Shop and get yours today!

900 Global Wolverine Ball Review by Ric McCormick

The new 700 Series ball From 900 Global the Wolverine! This ball features the S70 Pearl Reactive Coverstock wrapped around the Lacerate 2.0 Symmetric Core!

My Wolverine that I have drilled is my standard pin over my bridge layout which is 4 1/2 inches away from my PAP! This Wolverine will give you a step down from the Zen if the Zen is hooking to early or to smooth downlane this Wolverine is clean through the front part of the lane but very responsive to the friction!

Head over to your local Pro Shop 12/10/21 and get yours!

900 Global Wolverine Dark Moss Ball Review by Ric McCormick

The new Wolverine Dark Moss from 900 Global is the ball for when the lanes are Curving!!! This ball has the same core same numbers same coverstock except this Dark Moss comes out of the box with the 4K Fast!

My Wolverine Dark Moss is drilled pin over my bridge which is the same layout I put on the original Wolverine! This Dark moss is a great compliment to a Zen and Rubicon UC2 when you need length with great backend motion when the lanes hook! This Dark Moss is overall 3-4 boards stronger downlane than the original Wolverine!

900 Global Zen Master Ball Review by Ric McCormick

The newest addition in the 900 Global the brand new Zen Master! This ball features the S77 Solid Reactive Coverstock wrapped around the Meditate Core seen in the original Zen! This ball will give you a early but continuous motion that is a little weaker than the Reality!

My Zen Master is drilled pin over my bridge which is about 4 1/2 inches away from my PAP and I am a HUGE fan of this ball so far! The Zen Master is a tremendous compliment to the original Zen! The original Zen was that clean super angular reaction and this Zen Master will give you a very continuous motion like the Zen but you can use the Zen Master on more of the fresh lane conditions! To me this ball is very versatile and reminds me of a stronger Phaze 2 or Axiom!

Head to your local pro shop on 8/27/21 and get yours today! This is a MUST HAVE IN YOUR BAG!

900 Global Zen Soul Ball Review by Ric McCormick

The brand new Zen Soul from 900 Global features the S77 Hybrid Reactive Coverstock wrapped around the Meditate Symmetric Core!

My Zen Soul is Pin Under my Bridge and it’s nice continuous motion for me! The Zen is a staple in everyone’s bag and the Zen Master for me was to forward off the end of the pattern! If you put surface on your Zen that’s what the Zen Soul feels like! The Zen Soul will give you a smoother reaction than the Zen but more Continuous than the Zen Master!

The Zen U gives you the S35 Urethane Coverstock wrapped around the Meditate LD Symmetric Core that was seen in the Zen Line!

My Zen U is drilled pin over my ring finger and this is the perfect Compliment between the Pitch Black and UC3! The Zen U will give you the early smooth motion like a Pitch Black but hook almost as much as a UC3!

Roto Grip Exotic Gem Ball Review by Ric McCormick

Introducing the new HP4 ball from Roto Grip the Exotic Gem! This ball features the MicroTrax Pearl Coverstock wrapped around the same core seen in the Gem which is the Defiant LRG Core!

This quite possibly may be the strongest Pearl ball I’ve ever thrown! When I throw it into the oil it non stop hooks and throw it to the friction it burns up which tells me how strong this ball really is! If your looking for a big hooking shiny piece this is definitely the answer!

Roto Grip Gem Ball Review by Ric McCormick

Roto Grip’s new high performance bowling ball the new Gem! This ball features the Micro Trax Solid Reactive Coverstock wrapped around the Defiant LRG Core! This ball will give you a great option for the heavier lane conditions!

My Gem I have drilled is Pin over my Bridge which is about 4 1/2 inches away from my PAP which is my standard layout! I absolutely love this ball because of how versatile it is! I’ve thrown this on league patterns and had big scores as well as thrown this ball on shorter/medium patterns after urethane goes down the lane! The Gem reads the body of the lane with a nice strong predictable motion on the backend!!

If your looking for a ball that hooks but also looks sweet this Gem will be your answer!!

Roto Grip Halo Vision Review by Ric McCormick

Roto Grip’s new HP4 ball the Halo Vision can be described in two words....HOOK MONSTER. The Halo Vision features the eTrax-H18 Hybrid coverstock wrapped around the Centrum Core that was previously in the Halo and Halo Pearl. This ball with the Hybrid coverstock gets you the best of both worlds. I personally am a big fan of the original Halo and for me the Halo Vision is a little bit cleaner but still digs and doesn’t stop downlane even on the heavier lane conditions.

If you’d like a ball to hook when the lanes play slick this is your ball!

Roto Grip Hustle HSB Review by Ric McCormick

The drilling I have in my Hustle HSB is a pin over my bridge layout about 4 1/2 inches away from my pap.

One of Roto Grip’s new HP1 new releases is the new Hustle HSB which has the VTC-H18 1500 grit Polish factory finish including the well known Hustle Core. This for me is a smoother shape than one of my favorites Hustle Ink. This new Hustle is another great addition to the entry level bowling balls that can be used on the light-medium oil patterns.

I see myself using this ball later in a tournament when the lane conditions start to get beat up but also to play a little straighter on your typical house shot.

Go to your local pro shop and get yours!

Roto Grip Hustle PBR Ball Review by Ric McCormick

The newest addition in the HP1 Hustle line is the brand new Hustle PBR! This ball features the VTC-P20 Solid Reactive Coverstock wrapped around the Hustle Core and also comes out of the box at 3000 grit! This ball will give you a smoother reaction in the Hustle Line but will still get down lane very well!

My Hustle PBR is drilled pin over my bridge which is about 4 1/2 inches away from my pap! I truly love the motion of this because it reminds me of the Hustle Hybrid that storm came out with a little bit ago and also a weaker Winner Solid for me as well! The motion gets throw the front part of the lane but reads the midlane very well, just smooth and continuous motion off the end of the pattern! This ball is a lot of bang for your buck!!

Introducing the new bowling ball in the Hustle Line the new Roto Grip Hustle RAP! This ball features the VTC-P20 Pearl Reactive Coverstock wrapped around the very popular Hustle Core!

The hustle I drilled is about 4 inches away from my pap and for me this ball is very smooth but continuous down lane! This Hustle reminds me of a Hustle Ink but more continuous! Really like this ball when they are really hooking or something that I can play straighter with!

Roto Grip Hyped Hybrid Ball Review By Ric McCormick

The addition to the HP2 line the Hyped Hybrid! This hyped features the VTC Hybrid Reactive Coverstock wrapped around the new Hyped Core!

The Hyped Series took place of the MVP line and with the new Hybrid it reminds me of the MVP just cleaner! It will give you that clean motion throughout the lane but will read the body of the lane and be smoother than the Hyped Pearl on the backend! I definitely think the Hyped Pearl and Hyped Hybrid are a great 1-2 punch on when the lanes tend to have a lot of friction!

Roto Grip Hyped Pearl Ball Review by Ric McCormick

Roto Grip’s newest addition in the HP2 Line the brand new Hyped Pearl! This features the VTC Pearl Reactive Coverstock that was seen in the MVP Pearl wrapped around the new Hyped Core!

My Hyped Pearl is drilled pin under my Ring Finger with the Cg Kicked and with this layout on this ball it allows me to keep my angles in front of me smooth out the lane but still have good continuation down lane due to the Pearl coverstock! I have had success so far with this ball playing straighter on House Shots to get away from the cliff but also when the lanes are hooking and need a step up from the Hustle Line but smoother than the Electrify Solid this is that ball!

My Idol Helios is drilled 4 1/2 inches away with my normal Pin over my bridge layout and I am absolutely in love with this ball! With this new ball it will give you a nice controllable yet continuous motion on flatter patterns as well as house shots! Roto Grip Idol Pro Review

Roto Grip’s welcomes its new HP3 ball the Roto Grip Idol Pro. The Idol Pro has the eTrax-S19 coverstock with a 3000 grit sheen finish wrapped around the Ikon Core. This same core was featured in the Roto Grip Idol which is a lot of bowlers favorite bowling ball for a benchmark bowling ball. This new Idol Pro is not quite as early as the Idol but still has the same smooth continuous motion downlane. Personally this is one of my favorite balls right now just because of how versatile it is on multiple lane patterns but especially for medium-heavy oil patterns.

Roto Grip Idol Synergy Ball Review by Ric McCormick

The newest addition in the HP3 Line for Roto Grip is the brand new Idol Synergy! This ball has the eTrax Hybrid Reactive Coverstock that is wrapped around the Ikon Core seen in all the other Idols!

My Idol Synergy is drilled pin over my bridge cg kicked and this give me a very good motion down lane! Storm and Roto Grip did a fantastic job of having a ball that fits in between the Idol and Idol Pearl! I was a big fan of the Idol Pro which that had more of a more agreesive cover surface where for me the Idol Synergy is a shinier Idol Pro! The Idol Synergy gives you great length with great back end down lane for when the lanes start to transition!

Roto Grip MVP Review by Ric McCormick

My drilling I have on my MVP is about 4 1/2 inches away from my pap with the pin over the bridge.

The Roto Grip MVP has the VTC-H19 hybrid coverstock wrapped around the Neutron NXT Core. With a 1500 grit polish makes this ball clean through the fronts but the ball will read the mid part of the lane very well with great continuation. This personally for me is one of favorite pieces to throw when the lanes are hooking a little bit. Also with this ball being in the HP2 line this is a bunch of bang for your buck!

Roto grip’s new addition to the MVP Line is the brand new MVP Attitude! This ball features the VTC-H20 Hybrid Reactive Coverstock wrapped around the Neutron NXT Core! This is the earliest of the balls in the MVP Line with it coming out of the box at 3000 Grit surface!

My MVP Attitude is drilled pin over my bridge cg kicked which is about 4 1/2 inches away from my PAP! First impressions on this piece is that for an HP2 line ball it reads the midlane very well and retains energy through the pins!

I’m personally a big fan of the MVP and MVP Pearl and this is a great compliment to that once your MVP or MVP Pearl isn’t hooking quite early enough!

Roto grip’s new HP2 ball the MVP Pearl is a great compliment to the original MVP! This MVP Pearl features the VTC-P19 Coverstock wrapped around the Neutron NXT Core which provides a different Motion from the MVP.

My MVP Pearl that i have is about 4 1/2 inches away from my pap with the pin over the bridge. The original MVP is pretty smooth for a shiny ball and reminds me a lot of the Wrecker which was a big fan for a lot of people. The new MVP Pearl will give you more length and continuation than the MVP.

The newest addition in the asymmetric bowling ball family from Roto Grip is the new Nuclear Cell! This Nuclear Cell features the eTrax-P20 Pearl Reactive Coverstock wrapped around the famous Nucleus Core that is seen in all the other Cell bowling balls.

My Nuclear Cell that I drilled is 4 1/2 inches away from my PAP with the pin over my bridge and the mass bias next to the thumb!

This ball for me is very clean through the fronts but digs in the midlane with a strong continuous motion downlane. Comparing this ball to the Halo Pearl the Nuclear Cell is as clean as the Halo Pearl the ball just has a little more continuation!

This ball is easily becoming one of my favorite Asymmetric Pearl Balls of all time and you should go to your local Storm VIP Pro shop and get yours today!

Roto grip’s newest addition to the HP4 Line is the brand new RST X-1! This ball features the MicroTrax Hybrid Reactive Coverstock wrapped around the RST Core which stands for (Roto Star Tour Core)! This ball comes out of the box at 3000 grit and will give you a different shape on longer oil patterns!

My RST X-1 is drilled pin over my bridge with the Mass Bias right next to my thumb which the pin is about 4 1/2 inches away from my PAP! This new piece will be weaker than a UFO but it will be more aggressive than a Rubicon or Idol in the Roto Grip Line! Roto Grip RST X-2 Ball Review by Ric McCormick

Roto Grips newest HP4 Clean Asymmetric option is the brand new RST X-2! This features the eTrax Pearl Reactive Coverstock wrapped around the RST Core (Roto Star Tour Core)! This is the Pearl version of the RST X-1 on the heavier lane conditions!

Mine is drilled pin over my bridge with the Mass Bias close to my thumb! This ball motion wise reminds me of a Hy-Road Pearl just asymmetric with that clean motion through the lane with a good angle down lane but not to much down lane! Recently had success with this RST X-2 right after my Zen Master and UFO was to early this ball got through the early friction and created tremendous entry angle with good hitting power!

Head over to Dave’s World Of Bowling on 8/27/21 and get yours for a ball with tremendous down lane motion for heavier lane conditions!

Roto Grip Rubicon Ball Review by Ric McCormick

The newest addition to the HP3 line for Roto Grip is the brand new Rubicon! This ball is an Asymentric ball in the HP3 line! The Rubicon features the eTrax-S20 Solid Reactive Coverstock wrapped around the Rondure Core!

The Rubicon I drilled is pin over my bridge with the Mass Bias away from my thumb and this a very unique bowling ball! I did some ball videos with the Rubicon comparing it to the Idol another HP3 ball and it hooks in the same spot as the idol in the midlane but the Rubicon continues more through the pins!

When your UFO being a big asymmetric hooks to early but your Idol is a little to smooth down lane but still need that midlane read this Rubicon is a perfect spot to fill that gap!

Roto Grip Rubicon UC2 Ball Review by Ric McCormick

Roto Grip’s new addition In the HP3 line is the brand new Rubicon UC2! This brand new ball is the pearl version of the Rubicon! This features the eTrax Pearl Reactive Coverstock wrapped around the Rondure Core previously seen in the Rubicon!

The Rubicon UC2 that I drilled is pin over my bridge which is about 4 1/2 inches away from my PAP with the mass bias next to the thumb! This provides me a cleaner motion through the front part of a lane with a good smooth continuous motion for a shiny pearl ball which is unique! It’s cleaner than the Rubicon but also will be smoother than an Idol Pearl!

This is a very unique shape that is a must have in your arsenal! Get yours 1/29/21 at your local pro shop!

Roto Grip Rubicon UC3 Ball Review by Ric McCormick

The newest Urethane motion from Storm Products and newest addition in the HP3 Line the brand new Rubicon UC3! This features the Tour-ethane Pearl Coverstock Wrapped around the Rondure Core seen in the Rubicon! This will give you the most reaction for a urethane ball in Storm Prodcuts!

My Rubicon UC3 is drilled pin over my bridge with the mass bias close to my thumb! This UC3 will give me and everyone an option on the flatter patterns as well as shorter oil patterns of throwing a strong urethane piece once the Pitch Black and Fast Pitch aren’t quite enough! This will be a great addition in your bag if you need a strong urethane ball!

Roto Grip UFO Ball Review by Ric McCormick

The newest addition to the HP4 line in the Roto Grip family the new UFO! This new piece has the MicroTrax-S20 Coverstock which is 2000 Grit Abralon wrapped around the E.T. Core which stands for Equalizer Technology! This UFO is a new monster for heavier lane conditions.

My UFO that I drilled is 5 inches away from my pap which is a weaker layout for me but this ball digs through the oil more than any ball I’ve thrown and doesn’t stop hooking. My strongest ball is my Gravity Evolve and for me this hooks about 2-3 boards more and continues more.

i was a big fan of the Halo and this is now my new favorite from the Roto Grip family that hooks. Go your local pro shop and get yours for a ball that hooks.

Roto Grip UFO Alert Ball Review by Ric McCormick

The newest addition in the HP4 Line from Roto Grip is the brand new UFO Alert! This ball features the e-Trax hybrid reactive Coverstock wrapped around the E.T. Core which was previously seen in the original UFO! This UFO Alert will take the place of the previous Nuclear Cell as the shiny ball in the HP4 line!

My UFO Alert I have drilled is pin over my ring finger with the mass his right next to my thumb so it’s a little more stacked than normal for me! What I really like about this ball so far throwing it how clean it is through the front part of the lane reads the body of the lane very well but with that Hybrid Coverstock it’s very controllable for a shinier ball! The UFO Alert will come into play on the medium-heavier lane conditions when the lanes are hooking a little bit and the UFO or Rubicon is to early this will give you that clean strong controllable motion!!

Head over to your local pro shop 6/18/21 and get yours!

Roto Grip Wildstreak Ball Review by Ric McCormick

The new compliment to the Roto Grip In the Idol line that is a new HP3 ball the new Wildstreak. This ball features the SureTrax-S19 Coverstock wrapped around the Mutated Rotary Core.

The Wildstreak that I have is drilled about 4 1/2 inches away from my pap with the pin over my bridge which is a standard layout for me.

What I love about this ball is it’s smoother and more controllable than the Idol which is very impressive because the Idol is in everyone’s bag simply because of how smooth it is! This Wildstreak will be a great ball to blend out the lane on the fresh!

A new high performance piece from Storm Products is the Absolute! This features the R2S deep hybrid coverstock which makes this ball FLOAT through the front part of the lane wrapped around the new Sentinel Core!

The Absolute for me is an asymmetrical piece that isn’t to strong! It is weaker than the Exotic Gem, Dark Code and RST X-2 but is stronger than the Zen and Fate! This Is a great addition in your bag if your wanting an asymmetrical ball that doesn’t hook to early!

Storm All-Road Ball Review by Ric McCormick

Storm’s new addition to the Thunder Line and the famous Hy-Road series is the new All-Road! This new All-Road has the NRG Hybrid Reactive Coverstock wrapped around the Inverted Fe2 Weight Block.

This new addition to the Hy-Road series may be one of my favorites just because of the shape of the ball. As everyone knows the Hy-Road is one of the best balls Storm has produced and this is a FANTASTIC compliment to that when you love your Hy-Road but it’s just a little to clean pull this new All-Road out and it will be sooner and smoother down lane for you. I can definitely see this being a very good 1-2 punch.

My All-Road is drilled pin over my ring finger just like my Hy-Road which is about 4 1/2 inches away from my pap.

Storm Astro Physix Review by Ric McCormick

Storms new asymmetric bowling ball coming to the Premier Line is the Astro Physix! This ball has the famous R2S Pearl Reactive Coverstock 1500 grit polished wrapped around the Atomic Core featured in the original Physix.

This cover will allow you to have a shinier cover that will still dig in the mid lane on the heavier lane conditions. I usually use this ball on a longer oil pattern at a high friction bowling center when your doll bowling balls hook to early.

The Astro Physix reminds me a lot of the Storm Code Red from a couple years ago and is a great compliment to the Physics.

Storm Axiom Ball Review by Ric McCormick

Storm’s new Symmetrical ball in the Master Line is the Axiom! This ball is the earliest hooking symmetric ball that Storm has produced! The Coverstock is the NeX Solid Reactive Coverstock wrapped around the Orbital Core!

The motion is a very unique one in that the Axiom digs through the midlane pretty well with how early it hooks but it never stops continuing! This actually reminds me of a stronger and more overall motion throughout the lane version of a Phaze 2!

My Axiom that I drilled is Pin over my bridge with the CG kicked which is about 4 1/2 inches away from my PAP!

Mine that I have drilled is pin over my bridge CG kicked which is about 4 1/2 inches over from my pap! Definitely love the motion of this when my Axiom May be a little to early or to smooth down lane and my Phaze 3 is not quite enough this will fit that gap fantastic!

Storm Dark Code Ball Review by Ric McCormick

Storm’s brand new Asymmetric Pearl is the Dark Code! This ball features a brand new Coverstock called ReX Pearl wrapped around the RAD4 Core which was previously seen in the Code line of balls from Storm! What you will see in this ball is a very clean Asymmetric motion for heavier lane conditions!

My Dark Code that I have drilled is pin over my bridge with the Mass Bias right next to my thumb and this ball reminds me a lot of a stronger Hy-Road X! When I’m talking about a stronger motion is it’s very clean through the front part of the lane but on the backend it can be smooth and can also be pretty quick down lane! The Dark Code is a little bit cleaner than the Parallax Effect or even a UFO Alert!

This ball will add a different shape for the medium-heavier lane conditions that you can’t get with any other ball! Head over to your local pro shop 7/2/21 and get yours!!

Storm’s new addition to the Hot Line is the new Electrify Hybrid! This features the Reactor Hybrid Reactive Coverstock wrapped around the Circuit Core! This ball with give you a lot of bang for your buck and with it being a hybrid it will be smoother than the Electrify Pearl!

My Electrify Hybrid is drilled a little bit different than normal with the pin in my ring finger with the cg kicked out! This ball because of how I drilled and the ball itself really sees the midlane very well for a weaker ball and have a good punch down lane when it hits the pins! I can see this complementing a Hyroad, Hyroad X, balls that are similar to those!

Storm Electrify Solid Ball Review by Ric McCormick

Storm Product’s new ball in the Electrify Series is the brand new Electrify Solid! This ball features the Reactor Solid Reactive Coverstock with some polish added wrapped around that Circuit Core seen in the Electrify Series!

My Electrify Solid is drilled pin over my Bridge with the CG kicked! What I really love about this ball so far is it allows me to play straighter angles on the fresh lane conditions without it reading the lane super early! When you need to control the lane people tend to throw urethane or very strong balls this electrify solid will give you that smooth motion down lane but that polish will allow it to get through the front part of the lane!

This ball should be in everyone’s bag who bowls tournaments for the Fresh Lane conditions! Head over to your local Pro Shop on 10/29/21 and get yours!

Storm Fast Pitch Ball Review Ball Reveiw by Ric McCormick

The newest urethane bowling ball in the Thunder Line is the brand new Fast Pitch! This ball features the Controll XL Solid Urethane Coverstock wrapped around the Tour Block Core! The Fast Pitch is a different shape from Storm when it comes to urethane balls!

My Fast Pitch I drilled is pin over my ring finger with the CG kicked which is pretty standard layout for me when it comes to urethane balls! For me this fits the gap extremely well between the Pitch Black and Pitch Purple! Sometimes the Pitch Black isn’t quite enough but the Pitch Purple is to much off the spot on shorter or medium lane conditions this Fast Pitch will come into play! It’s smoother than a Pitch Purple but more than a Pitch Black!

If your looking for a brand new Urethane shape for shorter to medium lane conditions this is the ball!

The newest Collaboration between Jason Belmonte and Storm Products is the new Fate! The new Fate features the ReX Pearl Coverstock seen in the Dark Code, Infinite and Night-Road wrapped around the F-8 Core!

The new Fate Core is a modification of the Pro Motion to allow more hitting power through the pins with more responsive motion downlane! I drilled is Pin over my Bridge which is standard for me and this ball doesn’t disappoint downlane! The Phaze 5 is responsive downlane but can be to forward off the spot when moving left where the Fate has no problem coming around the corner!

Storm Gravity Evolve Ball Review by Ric McCormick

Storm’s new addition to the Gravity Series is the new Virtual Gravity Evolve! This ball has the SPEC Solid Reactive Coverstock wrapped around the famous Shape Lock HD Core which was previously in the original Virtual Gravity.

The new Virtual Gravity Evolve is a very unique shape in the Premier Line. This ball will be used on heavier lane conditions and for me it digs through the oil and blends any over/under that I see on a lane. For me it’s a little bit smoother than the Crux Prime but more continuous.

My Gravity Evolve is drilled pin over my bridge which is about 5 1/2 inches away from my pap. This is a standard layout I use on any new ball I drill.

Introducing the brand new Storm Hy-Road Max from Storm Products! This new ball has the NeX Solid Reactive Coverstock that is previously seen in the Proton Physix and Axiom wrapped around that famous Hy-Road core!

My Hy-Road Max is drilled over my bridge which is a pretty standard layout for me about 4 1/2 inches away from my PAP! This reaction is a very different ball motion then seen in most Storm Bowling Balls, it gets through the front part of the lane very easy because of that famous core but the Coverstock allows it to read the midlane and be very smooth downlane! Whether your a tournament bowler or a league bowler this shape in a bowling ball needs to be in your bag!!

Storm Incite Ball Review by Ric McCormick

The newest Asymmetric bowling ball from Storm the new Incite! The new Incite features the R4S Hybrid Coverstock wrapped around the Tensor Core!

My Incite that I have drilled is pin over my bridge with the Mass Bias next to my thumbhole! I recently just won $1,000 sweeper throwing this ball on a 44ft pattern from games 3 on for the rest of the evening! I started with my Proton Physix and once that was to strong and to lazy down lane this Incite got throw the early hook read the midlane and kept going down lane through the pins very strong! The Incite is a more backend motion than a Proton Physix but not as much as the quick shiny balls including Axiom Pearl and Zen!

The Storm Iq Tour Emerald features the R2S Pearl Reactive cover wrapped around the Centripetal Control Core which provides a clean bowling ball through the front part of the lane with a smooth predictable motion on the backend. This ball will complement the famous Iq Tour Solid when it starts to hook early and you need some more length in a ball. I can definitely see me using this ball later in blocks at tournaments for a nice smooth motion front to back on the lane. If you liked the Iq Tour Solid you will love this ball as it brings another great addition to the Iq line.

Storm’s new collaboration with Jason Belmont’s has given the world a very unique bowling ball called the Pro Motion. With this SPEC Coverstock wrapped around the all new Piston Core this ball will provide you with a Storm benchmark shape in a bowling ball.

I personally have been able to throw this on the shorter oil patterns including Cheetah as well as throwing it on the longer oil patterns for just a controllable ball motion. Jason Belmonte and Storm you’ve hit a grand slam with this one.

Storm Trend Ball Review by Ric McCormick

The newest collaboration with Storm Bowling Products and Jason Belmonte is the new Trend! This features the R2S Pearl Reactive Coverstock wrapped around the Piston Core that is seen in the Pro Motion!

The Trend I drilled is pin under my bridge same drilling as my pro motion and compliments it very well! It’s more cleaner with more backend than the pro motion but very continuous! I personally love the Pro Motion because of the shape of it and very happy that this will compliment the Pro Motion very well! The Storm Timeless for me was to angular and this Trend isn’t as angular as the Timless but more backend than the Pro Motion!

Storm Trend 2 Ball Review by Ric McCormick

Introducing the best collaboration to date between Storm Products and Jason Belmonte the new Trend 2! This ball features the NRG Hybrid Reactive Coverstock wrapped around the modified Piston Core Previously seen in the Pro Motion and Trend!

My Trend 2 is drilled with my standard layout pin over my bridge with the CG kicked! The original trend allowed me to play straighter angles through the fronts with a controllable motion! When I moved left the original Trend didn’t have enough downlane motion to get the corners out! The new Trend 2 with that stronger coverstock and modified core to get more continuous motion downlane has made this the best Belmo ball to date!
