COMMENTS

Predictable ball motion ALL DAY! The All Day Uses a retro core from one of 900 Global's first balls the Maniac, but with a stronger cover. This ball will give every bowling style a bench mark reaction. Combine this with the All Night, and you will have an ideal 1-2 combination for most lane conditions. I found this ball to be a huge amount of performance for the price point. I was typically forced deeper on the lanes, but could also square up to the line and go straight up the boards as well. I did not experience any over/under reaction on any angle I used to get to the pocket. This ball will fit almost every bowling style and can be used on a variety of lane conditions. If you need something with a little more teeth to cut through the heavier volume house patterns, look no more, this is your ball.

Midlane read and predictable ball motion. Back end is very strong and continuous through the pin deck. The S70 cover and "break" core paired together is a perfect combination. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Very versatile for use on medium to heavy and THS to sport patterns. This will be a full arrow stronger than a Dark Matter and a great step down from a Dream On. Don't be afraid to move left and open the lane up. Another proven winner from 900 Global!

Clean through the heads and predictable ball motion. Back end is a very smooth and controllable ball motion. This ball combines the core from the Wisdom and the from the Hook! series. If you want a ball for light or medium conditions then this is the perfect fit. I found success with this ball on broken down shots or lower volume conditions. Compared to a Hook!, this ball will be longer and not read the midlane so aggressively.

Super clean through the heads and smooth ball motion. Back end is smoother than the Hook Pearl. I found the ball to do very well on transition. Either on transition, medium or dry this ball is sure to please. I was able to find great carry from any angle and definitely did not get any over-reaction. For those that found the Hook Pearl to be too early or too much on the backend, the Boost Pearl is definitely your ball. For sure this will be your dry lane ball!

COMMENTS
When the Break Down came out, I was super excited. It was long overdue, but with one catch, a lower differential core. How was this going to react? The Break Down is the smoothest, most controlled, predictable ball I have ever thrown! No matter what condition I used the Break Down on, what I got was a nice midlane read with a smooth, controlled backend reaction. This ball allowed me to square up to the lane and throw the ball on a down and in line. Nothing fancy or flashy about it. Also, after game 2 on a THS, the switch is automatic. It is easily the go to ball when the lanes get over-under and go through transition. When the heads get burnt, bring out the Break Down! True to its name, you won't be disappointed. You will find the back-end motion is not the same as a the typical "Break" core ball in the past with the skid/snap reaction. Very drill and bowling style friendly, don't be afraid to put your favorite layout on it.

COMMENTS
Out of the fall 2015 releases, this is the one that I was anticipating the most. With the new Tour Preferred Series, 900 Global brings us the Chemical X. I felt that there was a gap between the Break Down and Boost. The Chemical X definitley fills this void for me. When I need a ball to read the midlane and still have a smooth arc to the pocket, this is it. The Chemical X is like the Break Down, but has a touch
more midlane read and a little more on the backend. It's not a huge backending ball, but it definitely doesn't quit once it encounters dry. I saw this ball as a benchmark type ball. Easily used on fresh and when the heads start to read early, I can maintain the line with the Break Down. It will definitely keep you out of trouble and with its backend reaction. Very predictable. One of the best characteristics is its amazing carry for a medium ball. Pins do not stand a chance. The Chemical X is very similar to the Favorite, Sure Thing, or AMF King Cobra (remake). This is definitely one ball that will be a hard one to get out of my hands.

With the new S60 coverstock, the Dark Matter is sure to deliver a huge backend motion and excellent pin carry. This ball is a perfect compliment to the Chemical X. When you need a bit of push and a stronger backend motion not provided by the Chemical X, enter the Dark Matter. With the medium differential, this ball will be an easy choice for many bowling styles and very drill friendly. The backend motion will rival any symmetrical ball on the market and for the price, you won't find better performance from any ball out there. Overall, the ball is very versatile allow bowlers to play closer to dry or move in and play deeper. I can't say enough good things about this ball, it just does everything very well. This is sure to be your
favorite ball!

Wow! What a great looking ball, both on the lanes and off. Clean through the heads and strong, angular backend ball motion. The backend motion is definitely stronger than a Black Eagle Pearl. The Dream is an easy step down from the Moxie or Dream On. The Dream at the OOB ("E" pad) will be able to handle some oil, but unless you take the cover down to a lower grit and no polish, it is not a heavy oil friendly ball. It will be best suited for a medium-heavy to medium oil shots. Overall, bowlers that want a strong pearl for opening the lanes up or getting you through those tough transition or 2nd shift leagues, the Dream is your new ball!

This ball was really great addition to our lineup for this year. We needed a strong solid asymmetric ball that would be able to cut through heavy oil and still provide a strong motion down lane and maintain continuation through the pins. I was looking forward to having this for flatter, heavy oil conditions. I was actually surprised that not only did I have a ball that was great on heavy oil, but I have something that will still work on higher volume THS or a first ball out of the bag for a game or so on a THS. Not a ball for anything less than medium-heavy. With an early midlane read, this ball will tell you when its time to put it away. The Dream Big fits nicely above the Dream On. Now there is a complete line from top to bottom in the Engineer Series. If you find yourself needing something with a little kick on the backend on heavier oil, then the Dream Big is your ball!

The latest from the Engineer Series will make you wanting more! The 79 Alert Pearl coverstock will get this ball down the lane and allow for more energy going through the pins. This is a great 1-2 punch with the Dream Big. The Dream Big Pearl shares the same core as the Dream, but that is where the similarities end. The Dream Big Pearl has a stronger cover so it will be able to handle more oil and it offers a stronger, more angular motion. Grab some Performance for YOUR Game!

COMMENTS
If you were in love with the Dream like I was and really wanted the same ball in a solid, enter the Dream On! The only thing is this one is a hybrid! The reaction of the Dream On is nothing short of spectacular. It is really hard to believe it isn't a solid. This is the perfect ball to start out with and be able to open the lanes up and move deep with. I couldn't believe how much recovery room this ball allowed. I went with a more aggressive layout, 50*x4"x40* because I wanted a strong asymmetrical that I would be able to use on some oil and on flatter patterns. Let me tell you, what I got was clean through the heads and a strong backend move. Just what I was looking for. This ball really begins to rev up midlane but conserves its energy for the backend move. Pins don't stand a chance. It will almost certainly be your ball of choice for when you need a strong backend on flatter patterns. What's even better is, when the Dream On starts reading too early, you have the perfect compliment in the Dream. No need to move. After one shot with this ball and you will be hooked!

The Drift will be cleaner through the heads and provide more backend movement than the X. A great compliment for when you need more length and backend movement. Overall I found the Drift needed to have some friction downlane in order to get to the pocket and not the best ball for fresh lanes. The Drift provides a great option for when the lanes transition from all of the ball traffic and your X or Chemical X isn't quite making the corner. The Drift is best suited for medium lane conditions. The Tour Preferred Series is shaping into a must have for any bowler!

With the new Adapter/D Asymmetric core in the Inception and wrapped in a new S74R Solid coverstock you will see good midlane read and a strong backend reaction. This ball delivers! It will be the first ball out of your bag in league and on sport patterns. The ball allows you to open up the lane on the fresh and has plenty of recovery. If you liked the Dream On, you will see more aggressive ball from front to back with the Inception. Compared to the Truth, the Inception will provide more angularity down lane and is best suited for medium to heavy lane conditions.

COMMENTS
The Moxie has a super predictable ball motion. Back end is strong but smooth. For a hybrid cover, the Moxie has a nice midlane read, but doesn't fly off the backends. The cover takes well to surface changes. I tried this at the OOB, and at an "E" Pad (~1,500 grit). Ultimately, I decided to go with an "E" pad because I wanted the ball to have a little more teeth on heavier oil patterns. Even at the OOB, 4K surface, I found this ball not a fit on THS patterns. However, on more oil and flatter patterns, the Moxie excels! Don't be afraid to get this ball on some oil and see what it can do.

If you liked the Moxie, introduce the Respect! Wow! does the Alert 79 Hybrid coverstock make a pronounced backend move. When the Moxie is a too early or isn't finishing well, put the Respect in your hand and keep on striking. This ball worked well on all fresh oil shots I bowled on. Definitely not a light or short oil ball. The ball motion is very predictable, but does have some backend kick to it. I initially had some over under reaction with the OOB finish (1,500 Grit Polished), but found a more consistent reaction by changing the surface to a NEAT "T" pad (4K) dull. Man did this liven up the ball reaction for me. It gave it a touch more midlane read and a better backend move. This ball definitely works well on oil. Go and get one and earn some Respect!

Clean through the front part of the lane with a nice balance of skid and flip ball shape. When the Respect is grabbing too early or Dream Big is too angular, put the Respect Pearl in your hand. You will definitely be able to get deep when the lanes break down and play some area. I found the OOB cover to be a winner on a wide variety of patterns from a THS to sport. The shelf appeal is 2nd to none with this ball. Pick one up and earn some more respect!

The Respect Solid is a great compliment to the Dream Big when you want a smoother backend motion or it fits in as a step down from an AMF Pure. Wrapped in a new coverstock, S74R Solid and fitted with a new core, Adapter/C Symmetric the Truth is ready to set you free! Having the same densities and shape as the Inception utilizing the same core in two balls is a first for the industry. That is where the similarities stop. The Truth will provide a controlled ball reaction and a more rounded ball shape as compared to the Inception. This will allow bowlers of all styles to play flatter and heavier volume patterns without having to worry about over under reactions. Like the Inception, the Truth allows for mistake room and plenty of down lane recovery. This ball is definitely a game changer in terms of having a two ball combo. The Truth is best suited for medium to heavy conditions. The hit and continuation is beyond what I have seen from previous high end symmetrics from 900 Global.

I am truly amazed at what 900 Global has done with the new X. I can't get this ball out of my hand let alone my bag. It is a must have for anyone's arsenal. This is truly what I have been looking for out of the Chemical X. The X offers a bit more midlane read and quite a bit more backend motion compared to the Chemical X. When you couldn't get deep with the Chemical X, the X allows you to move deeper to continue to follow the transition. I can't remember the last time I could use only one ball for 3 games on a THS. The X is the perfect benchmark ball. Not only is it great on THS, it performs very well on your toughest sport patterns. If you need something cleaner through the heads and a more angular backend, bring in the Dark Matter. The X allows for plenty of mistake room and also gives you the same predictability you had with the Chemical X. 900 Global hit the nail on the head with this one!

Taking a proven core from numerous releases in the 2000s, AMF has created a mid performance pearl that is your go to ball during transition. Clean through the heads and unlike typical pearls, the Encore is nice and smooth on the backends. If you want more backend motion, then a Respect Pearl or Boost Pearl will do the trick. This ball will not wow you with a huge sweeping backend. When the Dream On or Dark Mattter or Black Ops are reading too early, I can take the Encore and migrate back right closer to the dry. Everyone has that ball that is meant for higher volume or a benchmark type reaction, but not everyone has something for when the lanes transition. This is a must have for transitioning lanes or 2nd shift burnt lanes. Well done AMF!

COMMENTS
The Nighthawk is back. Now with a modified Favorite core! For this ball I chose a layout that has been a all around good performer for me: 60*x5"x45*. I have used this layout with success on the Favorite, King Cobra, and Darkness to name a few. Clean through the heads and a smooth, controllable backend ball motion. This ball is smoother than a Favorite and King Cobra by far. I was forced to play up the boards and as the lanes transitioned, I could continue to play this part of the lane without the ball checking up or over-reacting. The back-end move is smoother than expected. As far as cover changes go, I have only used this ball at the OOB finish which is a "T" pad and not experimented with any lower grit surfaces. I feel this ball needs a little friction up front or a little more surface to be able to use it on anything more than a THS. I wouldn't hesitate to snag another one and drill with a more aggressive layout. This ball is a great step down from an All Day and a step above a Boost Pearl. Again, another ball that will be very drill friendly and suit all bowling styles. For those bowlers who want an even arching reaction without the over-reaction, this is your ball.

A blast from the past! Now with an updated cover (F70) and core design. You will get the same great reaction that you have come to know with the S70 cover from 900 Global. This time we see it on a symmetric on the AMF Vintage line. Overall, you will not find more bang for your buck in this ball. I find it and easy step down from either the Truth or Inception when you want to smooth out the lane. The Ninja SE provides great midlane traction and superior continuation through the pins. Best suited for medium to medium-heavy lanes.

COMMENTS
Smooth, controlled, predictable are the best words to describe the AMF Pure. One of the best things of this ball is the hitting power and continuation through the pins. The Pure is a heavy oil ball, but is still tame enough to use on multiple patterns including a house shot. I was easily a whole arrow deeper with my Pure compared to my Moxe and Respect. Easily a ball to use when you need a little extra up front to cut through that oil, but not sacrificing on backend performance. The ball motion overall is a very strong arch. If you need something to combat the oil and destroy the pins, then the AMF Pure is your ball!

I Never had a chance to throw anything from the 900 Global line with the SRC, so this was a little experiment. I am impressed with the roll of this core. It doesn't matter what part of the lane you throw this ball, the ball shape is the same. It will smooth out the toughest patterns very well. You won't see a big sweeping backend motion. The Unreal is really predictable and will roll great for bowlers of all styles. Overall, with a middle of the road coverstock strength, the Unreal offers a lot of performance for an asymmetric at this price point.
