My Name is Doug and I am a DV8 Regional Staffer. I am left handed and through it around 16mph. The Melee Hook I drilled it with the Pin to the left of my ring finger and the CG kicked to the right by my center of my palm. The Pin is 3-4". I left the surface the same so box finish which is 2000. I have this drilling on my Brunswick Soul and I really like my Soul. The motion is really smooth and it lets me stay up the boards and outside which is in my comfort zone. The Melee Hook is a ball that reads the mid lane really strong and saves energy and hits the pocket really hard. If you have lanes that are really dry and the balls are really flying you can go to this ball. I also use this ball after my Vandal is breaking to hard and when I move in to far with the Vandal I will go to the Melee Hook and move right and stay straight. I have used this ball the Kegel High Way to Hell, and also USBC Blue, and Typical House shot. I was able to stay outside on all three patterns and I have not found a ball that I am able to do that. This is a ball that can be your bench mark ball and I really like the ball because it is really controllable and I am able to stay up the boards and stay in my comfort zone. This ball will work on just about any oil pattern and maybe the only one that might give you problem is really heavy oil patterns. This ball will work great on Typical House shots and if you are looking for a really smooth ball, that reads the mid lane extremely well and still has energy when it hits the pins this is the ball for you and the price range is great also. If you don't have a Melee Hook yet you really need to get one. Brunswick Hit another home run with the Melee Hook. You will not be disappointed!! #brunswickbowling #meleehook

I am left handed and my ball speed i around 15-16mph.
The ball surface I have on the Melee Jab is Right out of the box.
The drilling that I have on the Melee Jab is I have the Pin below my ring finger, and the Cg kicked to the left with a small weight hole. The pin is 4"
I was missing a ball in my line, and this is the ball motion that I have been missing. This ball gives me really clean through the heads and mid lanes and it gives me that hockey stick motion in the back, and this ball has really helped on the THS patterns. I have used this ball on THS, and also Sport Patterns like High Way to Hell, Route 66, Sydney, and Mexico City, and have done really well on all of them. This ball works the best on Medium to Oily Lane Conditions. If you are going to use this ball on Long Oily lane conditions, you will probably need to hit the ball with some surface. The Melee Jab is the most Versatile ball I think out on the market and with this ball I am able to play straight up the boards, or move right and open the lane and either line the ball still hits hard. Lately this is the first ball out of bag and if the ball is going to long, I go to my Diva Divine. If the Melee Jab is not enough ball in the back, I jump to my Thug Unruly. These 3 balls compromise each other really well and they have been the only balls besides my spare ball I have been taking to league, or tournaments. Brunswick has hit a home run with this ball, and now we have a ball that will compete with Storm balls that have the Hockey Stick motion, and this Melee Jab looks cool also. I don't have any dislikes with this ball at all. The tournament season is in high gear, so get to your local pro shop and purchase a Melee Jab today!! You will not be disappointed! Brunswick Brands I think are the best balls on the Market! www.brunswickbowling.com #brunswickbowling

My name is Doug Cutler and I am on DV8 Regional Staff. I am a left handed and throw between 15-16mph. I put the pin above the ring finger and kicked the cg out a little and kept the surface out of the box. I was able to throw this ball on 2 patterns this week and they were on High Way To Hell, and Modified House shot. All I can say is this ball is STRONG and hits really hard and keeps the pins low. I shot 705 on High Way to Hell and shot 787 on the Modified House Shot. I both shot I was able to stay between 10-15 and keep it in the oil and this ball did not roll up early at all and loose hitting power because of rolling out. The Nirvana uses the new Composite Cover stock Technology which exhibits a few traits that are uncharacteristic of typical resin technology. Somehow composite technology allows the bowler to stay in the same spot for longer periods of time. It also doesn't seem to saturate itself with oil and Polish nearly as quickly as other cover stocks do. It also will be very good for players that are speed dominant, rev challenged, or those who spin the ball. Simply put this ball gives you traction when others don't! If you need more traction in heavy oil and are looking for a ball that will maintain its reaction longer give the Nirvana a try. I found out if this ball is starting to roll up to early, I just go to my DV8 Vandal and this a great 1-2 punch. So get to your local Pro Shop and purchase a Nirvana today! #brunswicknirvana #brunswickbowling

My name is Doug Cutler and I am a DV8 Regional Staffer. I am left handed and my ball speed is between 15-17 mph. I remember how I drilled the my original Danger Zone and I drilled the New Danger the same. I had the pin just above my ring finger and the CG kick out just a little to the left. I had a 2-3" pin. The surface I took the original surface and just took a 4000 pad and lightly took the shine off. The Danger Zone is all that it is said to be. I was fortunate enough to throw the Original Danger Zone back in mid 90s. It was one of my favorite ball and I had 2 of them. Today's version with the tweaked PowerKoil 18 coverstock gave me the length I saw in the Original with a stronger arc motion on the back.
I have the Vintage Danger Zone about 5 boards stronger than my Diva XOXO and 3 more than my DV8 Vandal. The DV8 Vandal was my Benchmark Ball until now. The Vintage DangerZone is my new Benchmark Ball now. It's cleaner in the front and stronger arc on the back that my Vandal.
This is a ball that will let you close your angles without losing any reaction . The Danger Zone is a great ball for lower ball speed players but higher ball speed player might want a little surface on the ball. The Danger Zone is very controllable and predictable, and that is what I love to see.
I highly recommend the Vintage Danger Zone to anyone that is looking for that special Benchmark ball to add in their bag when the pattern tends to break down. So get to your local pro shop and get your Danger Zone Today. You will not be disappointed. #brunswickbowling #vintagedangerzone

My First Deviant I put the pin below my fingers and kicked the CG out a little. The Pin is 2-3" The surface is out of the Box Finish. I have used this ball on the Kegel Sidney, Kegel High Way To Hell, and the USBC Blue 2 Pattern. What I love so much about this ball is how Versatile this ball is. I am able to play way outside and play way up the back of the ball, and then when there is transition and I have to move in and change my hand position and get more tilt on the ball, and this balls still hits hard and I don't lose carry. The Vandal, and the Deviant are two great balls and I use these balls a lot. Compared to the Vandal, the Deviant is much cleaner through the heads and more hook off the break point. The Deviant and the Vandal are a great 1-2 punch and I have eliminated balls in my bag because these 2 balls are so Versatile and able to use these balls on multiple conditions and that is HUGE. With the new Solid Composite V cover stock and the Deviant Medium RG Symmetric core is a great combination ,and is giving a whole new look and performance never seen before in our products . The Deviant gives me great confidence in the mid-range of my arsenal. The thing I'm most impressed with is this ball's predictability. I have used this ball on Short and Long Patterns and I have not found a shot yet that I was not able to use this ball. If you don't have a Deviant in your bag yet, go to your local pro shop and purchase one today. You will not be disappointed. #dv8bowling #dv8deviant

When I heard that there was going to be another Diva coming I was really excited because I really liked the first 2 diva's and have had a lot of success with both of them, and the Diva Divine is not exception and I have had success already and only have had it for only about a month. I have had 1-300, and also 2-279's with the Diva Divine.

I am a left handed and throw it about 15-16mph.

My first Diva Divine I have the Pin just above my Ring Finger, and the CF is just kicked left a little bit. I have a 3-4" pin. The surface on the ball I just hit it with a little Royal Compound and I have love it because the condition we were bowling on in league my Divine was reading just a little to early so I hit it with a little royal compound last week and first game shot 300. All I can say about this ball is WOW! Right now this is my first ball out of the bag, and is really great on Fresh oil patterns and also great on THS.

The pattern that I am doing this review on is the USBC Blue 2 pattern. The Diva is my first ball out of the bag on this pattern and I am able to play right up 10 and even if I miss it left the ball still comes back and still drives hard and does not lose energy and hit week. I have used this ball that past 4 weeks and have shot 1-300, and 2-279, and the lowest set I have bowled is 715. I am able to use this ball all way to the 3rd game before I have to move left and when I have to move left I just go to my Thug Unruly and still continue to strike.

This Diva Divine works well on Medium to Oily lane conditions. If you are needing a ball for heavy oil just go to the Thug Unruly.

This ball is exactly as advertised. Plenty of push through the fronts, a strong midlane read, and plenty of backend reaction to pair with that midlane read. This ball is the total package and is very versatile in my opinion. The confidence this ball gives me from reading the midlane is crucial on fresh tougher patterns when you need a consistent reaction. The Diva Divine is the perfect benchmark ball for almost any bowler due to it's strong midlane and backend. If you're going to the USBCs (or planning any tournaments on medium to medium-heavy sport/challenge patterns), I strongly suggest having this ball within reach. Even if you just bowl leagues on house-shots, the Divine will give you a consistent midlane read without over-reacting to the friction outside or hydroplaning in the flood inside. Confidence and control is money. So get to your Local Pro Shop, and purchase a Diva Divine and you will not be disappointed!! DV8 has made another fantastic ball, and it has sold well so far! My name is Doug Cutler and I am DV8 Regional Staffer. I am left handed and I throw the ball around 15-16mph. For my first Diva XOXO I kept the surface the same as out as the box. The pin I put under my fingers and the CG is kicked a little to the left. The pin was 2-3". This is my favorite drilling and I have drilled my Diva Divine, the original Diva, and also the Diva Pearl. My favorite of all of the Diva's is the original Diva. I have drilled 3 of them and have won a lot money with it. I have used the Diva XOXO on 3 different patterns and I say that this ball is really smooth and has some really great back end reaction. The patterns I have used this ball on is the Kegel Boardwalk, PBA Cheetah, and a THS. This ball I would recommend on Medium to Light Oil patterns. On the Diva line the Diva XOXO fits between the Diva Divine and the Diva Pearl. The Diva XOXO is a great 1-2 with my DV8 Vandal. I start with my Vandal and when the Vandal starts to read to early I go to the XOXO and I can stay in the same spot but just change balls. I have used the XOXO on the Kegel Boardwalk the last 2 weeks I have averaged 745 for Series. I really like this ball and it is not just for girls, this balls color men will like and oh ya it hits really hard and it also has the Composite Cover stock. So get to your Local Pro Shop and purchase a Diva XOXO today!! You will not be disappointed. #dv8bowling, #dv8divaxoxo

My Name is Doug Cutler and I am a DV8 Regional Staffer. I am left handed and throw around between 15-16mph. The surface on the Grudge is out of box which is 500/1000 Siaair Pad. Pin is 3-4". I drilled my first Grudge with the Pin just above my ring finger and the CG Stacked. All I can say about the Grudge is WOW! This ball is a hitting machine and it throws the pins all around. This is the most aggressive ball that I have ever had and I loving this ball. I can play up the boards or I can move inside and keep it in the oil and it just cuts through the oil. Also one other thing I love about this ball is if I make a mistake like leak it left it still recovers and still hits hard and does not roll out. I am going to drill another one also and change the surface on it. I compare this ball with my Brunswick Nirvana which at the time was my most aggressive ball and I see the Grudge reads the mid lane cleaner, but saves more energy for the back and has more angle or hook when it hits the pocket. The Brunswick Nirvana reads the mid lane earlier and then kind of just rolls to the pocket which is good for some of the patterns we bowl on. I have used the Grudge on the Kegel Autobon which is a long pattern, and on Kegel 39 foot Flat shot(which was our pattern for the Indiana Master), and also on a THS. On the THS which we bowl on beat up wood I tried it out of the box surface and it was a little too strong, but I brought the surface up to 4000 and man what a difference and I can play from multiple angles. If you are looking for a ball for Heavy oil patterns or even a THS this is a ball you will need in your bag. You can change surfaces on the ball and it will react. If you are using this ball on short patterns you will need to bring the surface up on it. Brunswick has hit another HOME RUN with this ball and the New Composite Cover Stock on this ball is amazing, and every ball that has the Composite Cover Stock I have loved and has been big sellers. Brunswick Brand Balls are the hottest balls on the market. So get to your local Pro Shop and purchase a DV8 Grudge. You will not be Disappointed!!! #dv8bowling #dv8grudge

I am a DV8 staffer, and want to say that the Hell Raiser Revenge is the most aggresive ball that I have ever had. I have drilled 2 of these one pin up and one pin down. They both are really aggressive and my pin up I have the surface 4000 and the pin down the same sufface as it was out of the box.

I am left handed, and I am a stroker. I have 1 pba regional title. my ball speed is around 16 mph. I am going to give a ball review for both Hell Raiser Revenges.

The first review is my pin up with a 2 1/2" pin. The Pin is above my ring finger with the CG kicked to the left alittle. I have the surface at 4000. The condition I am reviewing it on is the Mexico City pattern. The Pattern is really tight and I tried original Hell Raiser but it would not come up at all. I was playing around 10 board. I went to the Hell Raiser Revenge and I had reaction and I had about 4 boards of hook. I could leak it to the left and it would come back. The next condition I tried this ball on was our leage shot and the shot is the USBC Blue Pattern. I usually play 10 to 5 with the Hell Raiser, and when I tried the Hell Raiser Revenge I have to play 18 to 5. The lane surface is Synthetic. I have shot a 300 with this ball 2 weeks ago.

The next review is with my pin down and a 2" pin. The pin is below my ring finger and is stacked. The surface is out of the box finish which is 2000. I have used this ball when my Pin up goes to long and need the ball to roll earlier. I use this ball on longer patterns like the Mexico City, and also the Shark Pattern. This ball so so versitle that I will probably get a couple more and changet the drilling.

What I have done this year with my new balls is drill 2 of them and drill one pin up, and then drill one pin down. It has worked great so far this year. If you have a ball that is working really good and has a good reaction, and if you get some carry down or the oil goes away you can change to the other one and still get the good carry. Sometime when you change to another ball you might not get the carry then you were with the ball you started. You can work with the surfaces on both, but I recommend if you can to do this.

DV8 this year has come out with excellent balls and I love everyone of them. If you want a ball that hooks a lot and hits hard, you need to get a HELL RAISER REVENGE!!!

Thanks DV8 for coming out with such great balls!

MY Name is Doug and I am a Left handed and I throw the ball around 15-16mph. I am on DV8 Regional Staff.

When DV8 brought the Hooligan out I was really happy that you get a ball that really skids through the heads really clean and hits really hard and for the price you will not go wrong. The price is fantastic you are getting a ball reaction that you will have to spend around $190.00 for and you will spend much less for this ball.

I drilled my first Hooligan with the Pin below my Ring Finger and the cg kicked out. The Pin is 2-3". I hit the surface with a light 4000 pad and I really love this ball.

I used this on multiple lanes conditions but the one that I am going to do this review is on USBC White Pattern. With this drill pattern it allows me to stay square and play 10 and left and this is where I like to play. We are bowling on really used wood lanes and the pattern I need the ball to clear the heads well and need some on the back and this ball gives me that. I have not shot under 740 the last 5 weeks. I have also used this on Route 66, and also the PBA Cheetah. On t

I would not recommend the ball on really long pattern because you need the ball to read early or a dull bull this ball does not work well.

I would really recommend this ball to people that want to keep squared up and a really clean ball, and like I said early the price of the ball is fantastic. I am going to drill another one with the pin above my fingers.

I want to thank Brunswick and DV8 for bringing out another Fantastic Ball. Brunswick brands I think have the greatest balls on the market.

My name is Doug Cutler and I am a DV8/Brunswick/Radical Regional Staffer. I am left handed and I am between 15-16mph. I drilled the Hooligan Taunt with the pin just above my fingers and the CG stacked and the surface is out of box. Pin 3-4". I did not use the original Hooligan that much because I could not get the surface correct with the patterns, the ball would read to early or to long, so I did a safe drilling on the Hooligan Taunt and SO far this ball is been perfect with the patterns I bowled on. This ball is smoother in the mid lane and more reaction. The patterns I have used the Hooligan Taunt on has been Cheetah, 2015 USBC Nationals Team pattern, and THS. This ball works really good for me when I am straighter and play up boards. I am really excited about this ball is how predictable it is, and how much power it has in the back. The Hooligan Taunt works well on THS, and Medium/Dry Lane conditions. DV8 has done a great start of the year with the Hooligan Taunt and this is a ball you are going to need in your bag, I promise you will not be disappointed!! This is Doug Cutler and I am a DV8 Regional Staffer

The drilling I did for the Outcast is the Pin above my Ring Finger and the CG kicked out a little. The pin is 2-3" pin. The surface is the same as out of the box.

The oil pattern I used for the Ball review is on the PBA Cheetah.

The outcast is such a great ball and I love when I can stay way left and play the ditch and play up the boards and this ball does this for me. Even though this is a ball that is lower end ball, this ball hits so hard and keeps the pins low. If you have a young kid that wants to get ball that is a step up from a plastic ball this is the ball you need and you can choose from 3 different colors. Also you get a bag to come with the ball and what other ball gives you that. I have also used this on any short pattern, or on a Typical House Shot. This ball is really smooth through the heads and still keeps a good amount of back end reaction on the back. On the Cheetah pattern this year when we bowled in league for 2 the weeks I did not shoot under 750.

The thing I like most about the Outcast is how controllable it is. Low end balls are typically very quick off friction and very sensitive to oil, but the Outcast doesn’t seem to be either of those. It is very smooth off the backend, but can also handle a decent amount of oil. The Outcast is a great ball for anyone looking to buy their first bowling ball, or someone looking for a controllable ball for when a pattern becomes sketchy.

You can get these now at your Local Pro Shop!!! You will not be disappointed with this ball and the 3 colors are awesome also.

Thank you DV8 for making another great ball this is needed so much in your line.

I am left handed, and my Ball Speed is between 15-16 mph.

My First Ruckus Schizo ball is drilled with the Pin in the middle above my Fingers and the CG in the middle of my palm.

The ball surface I lightly hit the ball with a 4000 pad.

The patterns I have used this ball on the USBC Red Pattern, High Way to Hell, and Abby Road.

What all I can say is WOW!!! I have not had a ball yet that can come off the spot like this ball. I can move inside and throw the ball left and the ball will recover quickly. I have drilled a second ball that is a Pin down below my Fingers and the CG is stacked and I have hit this ball with a light 2000 and this ball works well when my pin up Schizo is going down just a bit to long. I have a great combination with these 2 balls because when you are bowling well and when you get some carry down or the heads go away sometimes when you change to another kind of ball you won't get the same carry so I have drilled 2 of each ball 1 with a pin up and 1 with a pin down and this has worked for me that past 2 years. I also have a great 1-2 punch with this ball and the Rude Dude. If the Schizo is way to much ball I got with the Rude Dude and the 2 balls I have used every were I have bowled the past 3 weeks. I have loved all of the balls that DV8 has put out and they keep coming up with better and better balls and they have hit a home run with these latest 2 balls. I have not shot under 650 the last 3 weeks and I bowl in Sport Pattern leagues and tournaments. I think that DV8 and Brunswick and Radical are making the best balls out on the market right now and Storm better watch out!!

The Schizo get through the heads really clean and saves its energy for the back and has a good recovery and great drive to the pocket. You will need one of these in your bag because I promise you will not be disappointed.

I have not seen anything yet on this ball that I don't like or a condition yet that I have not yet able to throw the ball on.

DV8 thank you SO much for bringing out terrific balls that hit hard and can't wait to see what we have next!!

Hello to everyone and this is my Review of the Rude Dude.

I am left handed and I throw around 15-16mph

The lanes conditions I bowled on is the USBC Red Pattern, and the High Way to Hell, and the Abby Road.

The surface on the Rude Dude I just hit it with a light 4000 pad.

The way i drilled my first Rude Dude is the Pin about 1" above my Finders and the CG just to the left of the center of my palm.

The second one I drilled I have the pin just below my Ring Finger and the CG just kicked left just a little bit. I have the surface on this one a light 2000 pad.

I have compared this ball with the Schizo, and also the Diva Pearl.

The Rude Dude is such a GREAT ball and right now this ball is my starting ball and the last 3 weeks I have only used this ball or the Schizo. My pin up ball is the one I have used the most on Fresh lane conditions and if I get any carry down, I go to my Pin down Rude Dude. This ball get threw the heads really well and has great recovery off the back and is really smooth off the back and it still hits really hard. I recommend using this ball on Light to Medium lane conditions, and also THS. If the Rude Dude is just not enough, I go to the Schizo and I have not had any problems getting the pocket. The Rude Dude and the Schizo is a great 1-2 punch. If the Rude Dude is to much, then I have gone to the Diva Pearl and The Diva Pearl is much smoother in the back as my Rude Dude is. If you want a great Starting ball and a ball that looks great and strikes a lot, you will need to get a Rude Dude, because for the price you will not go wrong. DV8 has come out with another GREAT ball and I can't wait for what they come out with next.

If you want a ball for Heavy oil this is not the ball, but just go to the Schizo, or the Ruckus Feud.

I want to thank DV8 for producing the Best Balls on the market right now!! If you have not purchased the Rude Dude or the Schizo yet, you need to. This ball will help you with completing your Arsenal.

My name is Doug Cutler and i am a DV8 Regional Staffer. I throw left handed and i throw around 15-16mph.

The First Thug I drilled I put the Pin above my Middle Finger and the CG is stacked. The surface on the ball is out of the box.

I have used this ball on quit a few patterns but the one that I am going to do for this Ball review is the Route 66.

We bowled on the Route 66 early this year and it was one of the patterns that I was struggling as for carry and I used my Ruckus Feud and it was good but the carry was not as good and I did not have the Thug at the time and this time i used the Thug and it was what I was looking for on this pattern. The Thug is cleaner through the Heads and still saved energy for the back and still hits really hard. I was able to use this ball all three games and was able to stay squared up and left. I did try to move right and open the lane up and the ball still hit hard and did not loose energy.

This ball is what I have been looking for in a higher end that is polished and able to stay straight or move in and don't have to change the surface at all. The ball is good for Medium to Oily Lanes. I have tried to use the Thug on shorter patterns but the ball is to strong and just burned up to early. This ball needs OIL!!!

The Thug is the perfect option for someone looking for a ball for heavy volume patterns once the heads start to break down, or for a high rev player on heavy volume patterns. Speed dominant players would also be able to use this ball on medium oil patterns. The motion is something very special that many people will be seeking. Get yours now at your Local Pro Shop!!

I let my friend Nick Campos try my Thug after league about a month ago and he really liked the motion, so he drilled one up that week and within 3 weeks he has thrown 2-300's. One of my other friends just drilled up his Thug.

I want to thank DV8 for making another fantastic ball and I think that Dv8 and the other Brunswick Brands are the best balls on the Market! "TONIGHT WE BOWL"

My name is Doug Cutler and I am a DV8 Regional Staffer and I throw around 15-16mph. The Drilling on my first Thug Corrupt i put the pin above my ring finger and kicked the CG out just a little. I left the surface the out of the box. The Thug Corrupt is much stronger than the original Thug, and provides a different motion than the Thug Unruly. Compared to the original Thug, the Thug Corrupt is a solid 4-6 boards stronger. It picks up the mid lane much stronger and finishes stronger on the backend. Compared to the Unruly the Corrupt is much cleaner and more angular. Overall strength is comparable, but the motion and shape is different. I think the Thug Corrupt is the ball that most people look for on a Typical House Shot. It provides that “stand left, throw right” motion that many bowlers look for on a Typical House Shot. But it is also clean enough that a stroker would be able to stay right with it and get the ball down the lane. I can believe how much stronger the Thug Corrupt is to the Thug Unruly, which the Thug Unruly was the most aggressive ball on the market last year. I am going to get another Thug Corrupt and really Polish it so I can use it on more than just Heavy Oil Patterns. I have used the Thug Corrupt on the Shark Pattern. The Thug corrupt is a ball that you really need in your bag when you are bowling on Heavy Oil Patterns. DV8 has done a great Job with this Ball and it is going to be a very popular ball this year and I will have at least 2 of these in my Bag. "Tonight we Bowl", #dv8bowling, #dv8thugcorrupt

The first Thug Life I drilled I put the Pin just above my Ring finger and stacked the CG. The Pin is 2-3". The surface is out of the box finish. I have used this ball on the Kegel High Way to Hell, and also USBC Blue 2. What I really love about the Thug Life is on both patterns I was able to play outside like 5 and out, or when I moved inside and played 15 I was able and did not have any problem with losing carry. I just change hand positions for where I am playing and this is huge because this ball is very Versatile and I can use this ball on multiple lane conditions and this is also great because I don't have to have so many balls in my bag. The Thug Life and the Deviant is a really good 1-2 punch. When the Thug life is going down too long or breaking to much I can go to the Deviant and it keeps me in the same ballpark and the line I am playing. DV8 Thug Line has been a big part of my game from the Thug to now the Thug Life. I have loved all the Thug's. The Thug Life with its Composite Technology cover stock is great on this ball for being a Pearl Cover. The Thug Life let me get left and close my angles a little bit of where I usually start with my Thug Unruly and Thug Corrupt. Thug Life was real clean through the front of the lane which surprised me. It still had that strong mid lane roll but when it hit the break point and made that hard move to the pocket the ball didn't slow down or read early like the Unruly, and It just kept going through the pins. Another thing that I really like about the Thug life if I missed left a little it recovered very nicely. If I missed right a little the ball just set up in the oil and never crossed, and It held pocket. The comparison to the Thug Corrupt, the Thug life is 3-4 feet longer, and more angular. Comparison to the Vandal, The Thug life is 2 Feet shorter, and 3-4 boards sharper off the break point. These new Composite covers are so amazingly strong and consistent. I strongly suggest those who are looking for a strong consistent ball that is clean in the front, strong angle off the break point and hits hard, this ball is a must for you. The Thug Life is great on THS, and also Medium to Oily Lane Conditions. Get your Thug Life today at your Local Pro Shop! #dv8bowling #dv8thuglife

My Name is Doug, I am Left Handed and I throw the ball around 15-16mph. This is my second review on the Thug Unruly and this is my second Thug Unruly Drilled. The drilling I did on my second Thug Unruly is the same as the first Thug Unruly but I changed the surface on the ball. The surface I did on the second Thug Unruly is I took it out of box surface and then I hit it with Royal Compound and Then Royal Shine and this ball is Glossy. I did this because when my first Thug Unruly starts to read up to early, I can go to the Glossy one and it has worked so great and I am able to stay with the same kind of ball. I have loved my 2 Thug Unruly and they have been a great 1-2 punch. The drilling that I have on both balls is I have the Pin to the left of my Ring Finger and the CG is stacked, and a the pin 3-4". I have used this ball on Typical House shots, and also on Sport Patterns like Highway to Hell, Beat'n Path, and Mexico City.
This Thug Unruly will work well on Medium to Heavy Oil lane patterns. This Thug unruly will work well when the middle of lanes are reading to early or burnt up, and this Unruly with its gloss finish will get through the heads really clean and save its energy for the back and have a really strong back end reaction.
The Thug Unruly is the Strongest Ball on the market, and is my favorite ball in my bag, and now that I have drilled another one and Polished it, this is my second favorite ball, and I can't keep both of these balls out of my hands. That is what I love about DV8 balls they react so great when you change the surface of the balls and also DV8 balls last for a long time. I have quite a few balls that are over a year old that I am still using that still carry great and if you keep up with the cleaning on the balls they will last a long time. I clean my bowling balls every time I get done using them and before I put them in my bag, and if you do this I promise your bowling balls will last a long time. If you have not purchased a DV8 Thug Unruly, you need to, because I promise that you will be happy with the reaction and hitting power of this ball. #dv8bowling

The DV8 Thug Unruly is the Ball that I have been waiting on for a LONG Time!!
I am a Left Handed and I throw around 15-16mph.
The first Thug Unruly I Put the Pin next to my ring finger and the Cg is stacked. The surface of the ball is the original out of the box.
I have used this ball on quit a few lanes conditions but the one that I am doing this ball review is on the USBC Blue 2 pattern. This was our City Tournament Shot and I just drilled up my Thug unruly the day before City Tournament so it was truly right out of the box and no games on it at all. The Thug Unruly is such a strong ball and this ball let me play in the oil and I if I missed at all to the left into the dry the ball not die at all and hit weak. In the City Tournament in my Doubles event I shot 300, 806 series, and it was my first event with the new Thug Unruly. I got a lot of peoples attention with this ball and had quit a few people come up to me and talk about this ball. This is the strongest ball that I have ever have and one great this that this ball does not do and it does not soak the oil up really quick on the ball and I don't have to clean the ball every game. I have the Guru and that is a great ball but the only thing that I dislike about the Guru was it is hard to keep the oil off, and I had to clean the ball every game to keep it from shinning up, but besides that the Guru is a great ball. The Guru was my most aggressive ball on the market, but know the Thug Unruly is the most aggressive ball on the market. The Unruly is going to be a ball that you need for those heavier volume and longer oil patterns. If you are seeking a ball for heavier oil patterns that is extremely aggressive Search no more. Thug Unruly is the ball.

If you are looking for a ball for lighter volume patterns or shorter oil patterns than the Thug unruly will not be your ball. The Thug Unruly will need OIL!!

The Thug Unruly and the Diva Divine are my 2 most favorite balls and they are a great 1-2 punch. If the Thug Unruly starts to read to early I go to my Diva Divine, and that ball reads cleaner threw the heads than the Thug Unruly.

So if you have not got the Thug Unruly yet, please go to your Local Pro Shop, because you will not be disappointed! DV8 has put out I think there best ball out yet to date!! Thank you DV8 for this fantastic ball! TONIGHT WE BOWL!! #dV8bowling

I am a DV8 Staffer and I am left handed. The Too Reckless is such a great ball that this ball is my go too ball to start off with. I have drilled 2 of these and one pin up and 1 pin down. The surface on these ball are the pin up is right out of the box, and the pin down I hit the track with a light 2000. I use both of these ball quit a bit and if i get some carry down,or the oil goes away I will just go with the other one.

The pattern that I am reviewing is on the USBC Blue Pattern and on Synthetic Lanes. The center that I bowled at is Thunderbowl in Fort Wayne, IN. I played around 10 to 5 and a month ago I shot 300-806. This ball is great on Medium to Light oil patterns. This ball is also good on tough sport patterns. If my Hell Raiser Revenge is hooking to much I will go to the Too Reckless.

This will be a ball that you will start with on fresh shots. If you can get two of these I would recommend drilling one pin up, and one pin down. You can change the surfaces to make sure when one goes away you can go to the other one and don't loose carry.

I love this ball very much, and I will not be dissapointed with this ball! Thank you DV8 for coming out with just great balls!

Hi My name is Doug Cutler and I am a DV8 Regional Staffer and I am left handed and I throw between 15-16mph. The drilling I did on my first Vandal,I put the the Pin above my ring finger with the CG stacked and the surface out of the box. The pin is 3-4". All I can say about the Vandal is "WOW". The motion of the Vandal is amazing. As many others have said, I haven’t seen a motion like this in a very long time, if ever. This is going to sound counteractive, but it is the best way I can describe the motion. It is very clean through the front, but reads the front part of the lane very well. Usually “clean” balls look like they are squirting through the heads, almost hydroplaning, but not the Vandal. The strength of the Vandal is what surprised me the most. I don’t usually expect an “all purpose” ball to be able to handle a significant amount of oil. But the Vandal handled just as much oil as my Thug Corrupt. I believe right now the Vandal is going to be my "Benchmark" ball. One last thing I like about the Vandal is If I miss a little at the bottom and ball still recovers and hits hard, also when getting a little bit too much on the ball it will lay off and give you hold in the middle. This is a ball that you can use on multiple lane conditions and that is special because you will not need many balls in your bag because just about any condition you will be able to use the Vandal. I have used the Vandal on Cheetah, THS, Shark, and Scorpion. DV8 has hit a home run with the Vandal. You are going to need this ball in your bag, and I am going to drill a couple more and I promise you will not be disappointed with the Vandal. TONIGHT WE BOWL! #dv8bowling, #dv8vandal

My name is Doug Cutler and I am a Storm/Roto Grip Staffer. The first Halo Pearl I drilled is 50 x 5 x 40 and the surface is out of box. The Roto Grip Halo Pearl sports the eTrax P-18 coverstock and Centrum Core (asymmetrical). The cover and core combination work very well together. This ball right now is my go to ball and is a bench mark ball. This ball has given me area left and also right and does not roll out. You can use this on any THS, and any Sport shot that is medium to heavy oil. I have had the Halo Pearl for only 3 weeks and the first week shot 833, and next week 749. The 3 week i did not bowl. When this ball starts to go to long, then I go to the original Halo. These two balls are a great 1-2 punch and are a must in your arsenal. #squadRG #halopearl #ownit

My name is Doug Cutler and I am a Storm/Roto Grip Staffer and I am left handed and throw the ball between 15-16mph. My First Hy-Wire I drilled it 75 x 4 1/2 x 25 and the surface is out of box 1500 grit polish. The Hy-Wire I compared it with the Critical and Haywire. The Hy-Wire I have used it on a Typical House Shot (41 Foot), and also on Cheetah, and Viper and have good success on all 3 patterns. The Hy-Wire is a perfect fit in the HP3 Line. 62M™ Hybrid Reactive coverstock is one part solid and two parts pearl, which means that I can scoot through the front just like a pearlized cover and have just what is needed from a solid at the breakpoint. This ball is really smooth thru the mid lane and save a lot of energy for the back and has a lot of back end reaction and hit the pocket really hard and keeps the pins low. This ball is a real compliment to the Haywire and also the Critical. The Hy-Wire is one of my go to balls and it is a ball that I will start with on Typical House shots or on any Medium lane conditions. If the Hy-Wire starts to go to long I will go to my Haywire and the Haywire reads the mid lane a little earlier and is very strong off the break point and this is a good 1-2 punch and also my Critical reads the mid lane a little earlier then my Hy-wire and it is much smoother off the break point so all 3 of these balls complement each other and I am glad I have all 3 balls in my bag. If the Hy-wire is not enough ball or on a Heavier oil pattern, I will go to my Storm Lock. The Hy-Wire is good on Medium Oil Patterns. I have not seen anything yet that I don't like about the Hy-Wire. The Hy-Wire is a ball that allows me to keep the ball in front of me and keep straight , but I can also open my shoulders up and open the lane up a little so it is a very versatile ball. The Hy-Wire is a ball that you definitely need in your bag, so get to your local pro shop and purchase a Hy-Wire today. You will not be disappointed!! #rotogrip #hywire #ownit

My name is Doug Cutler and the ball review I am doing is the Idol Pearl. My first Idol pearl drilling is 45 x 4 1/2 x 70 and the surface is a used 3000 pad. This ball is one of my favorite balls in my bag and is one of my benchmark balls. This ball is really clean thru the mid lane and man it has some back end. This ball is great on any THS and any Medium to Oily Lanes. I have really used this ball when my Idol starts to read to early in the mid and start to leave some weak 7 pins. I have shot 2-300 games with this ball already. This ball has really sold well at work and also the PBA tour guys really like this ball also and have seen it on the shows a lot this year. My Idol and Idol Pearl are a great 1-2 and will bring both of these balls for Nationals. My Idol and Idol Pearl are drilled the same. This is a ball you will definitely will need in your bag if it is not already. I love this ball and will get another one pretty soon. #squadRG #ownit #idolpearl

My name is Doug Cutler and I am Roto Grip/Storm Amateur Staffer and the post I am doing today is for the No Rules. I am left handed and throw the ball between 15-16mph. I drilled 2 of these balls and man I love both of them. The first one I drilled I put the Pin below my ring finger and kicked the CG out a little bit and kept the surface the same out of box. The second No Rules I drilled I put the pin above my ring finger and kicked the CG out just a little and the surface I brought up to 4000 and these 2 balls I use a lot. I have used these balls on Typical House shots, and also on Long Patterns like Kegel Mexico City. I usually start with my pin down and when this ones starts to read to early I go to my Pin up and these 2 balls are a good 1-2 punch and I keep with the same ball. I have also used the pin up on some medium patterns like Kegel Abby Road. We have sold a lot of these and a lot of my College kids have this ball and they love it. I have noticed that people with high ball speed and a lot of revs love this ball out of box finish, and people with low ball speed will have to bring the surface up on the ball and even go with a longer pin when drilling this ball because of how strong this ball is. If these 2 balls are to strong then I go down to my Roto Grip Hywire. The No Rules is “No Joke”, it covers more boards off the pattern that ANY BALL I have used in the past. With the great color selection on this ball, it is very easy to read the changes in the motion down lane, which makes it easier to make those minor adjustments. The No Rules was 6-8 boards stronger than the Hy-Wire. Even with the amount of volume we have in the middle of our house pattern, it still hooked through it. A great ball if you are going to use on the larger volume THS, or on hard surfaces like Brunswick and HPL lane patterns. I know this is going to be the ball of the year. No Rules ball = No pins left standing. So get to your local Pro shop today and purchase a No Rules, You will not be disappointed! #ownit #norules

My name is Doug Cutler and I am a Storm/Roto Grip Amateur Staffer. I am Left Handed and throw the ball around 15-17 MPH. My first No Rules Pearl drilling I put the Pin Under the Ring Finger and the cg kicked out the the left. The RotoGrip NO Rules Pearl is the newest addition the HP4 line of bowling balls. The NO Rules Pearl features the Chaotic Core which is also in the No Rules. The difference is the AMPED Pearl coverstock that provides skid through the front part of the lane and a devastating hooking motion on the backend. It hooks continuously throughout the lane, it has a very strong arc, it is a GREAT ball to use from deeper angles on heavier volume patterns once the transition has forced you inside. It rolls heavy enough and has enough traction that you can project it or fade it through the soup in the middle knowing it's going to pull up and make a STRONG move through the pins. It's just a strong ball in all phases of motion, but the surface finish gets it down the lane without bleeding energy. It's quick off friction, but it doesn't burn or stand up. It also doesn't need the shine taken off to compete on sport patterns, in fact it's better with the factory polish on it. I have used this ball on THS and also on sport patterns like Kegel Abby Road, and Kegel Los Angeles, and even on Longer Patterns like Mexico City when the Patterns breaks down and my No Rules Solid hooks to early. This ball is good on Medium to Heavy Oil Patterns. This is a ball that you will need in your bag and is a very predictable ball and is one of my favorite balls. Roto Grip has hit another home run with this ball and works very well with the Original No Rules. So get to your Local Pro Shop and purchase your No Rules Pearl Today. #ownit #norulespearl

I am a left handed and a Storm/Roto Grip Regional Staffer. I throw the ball around 15-17mph. The first Show Off I drilled I put the pin above the Ring Finger and the CG is stacked. The surface I kept the same as out of the box which is 2000 grit. The Show Off has the Original No Rules Cover with a new Hotshot Core which is designed for Length and Back End Reaction. I will tell you that this ball is special and is more bang for the buck. If you want a ball that is strong and you don't want to spend $200.00, then this ball is all that you need. This ball is great on THS, and Medium to Heavy oil pattern. Roto Grip has mastered this line as more ball for the price you are paying. The HP2 line has produced a lot of Fantastic balls and The Show Off is another one. I compare the Show Off with the Haywire and the Show off is cleaner in the Midlane and more Back end then the Haywire. The first game I threw the Show Off was a 300. The Show Off to me is a really strong ball that I can use on multiple lane patterns and I can manipulate my hand position with this ball when the lane changes and I can still use this ball. This ball is a must for anyone and it does not matter how you throw the ball. So get to your Local Pro shop and purchase a Show Off. You will not be disappointed. #showoff #ownit

My name is Doug Cutler and I am a Storm/Roto Grip staffer and I am left handed and I throw about 15-17 mph. My first Winner solid drilling is 70 x 3 3/4 x 20. The surface I have on it 2000 grit pad. What I saw from this ball so far it is a really controllable and smooth and gets thru the heads clean and just does not overreact. I have used this ball on THS on Fresh and also oh patterns that are really flat that you don't want the ball to over hook, and any Medium to Oily Lanes. This ball lets me keep my angles in front of me and this will be a ball I will take to Nationals this year. If I need a ball with more back end reaction or if the Winner Solid is rolling out then I will go to my Winner Pearl. I really like my Winner Solid and I really like controllable bowling balls and if you need a ball to take to Nationals, this is a ball you will need. #squadRG #ownit #winnersolid

My Name is Doug Cutler and I am a Storm/Roto Grip Regional Staffer. I am left Handed and my ball speed is between 15-17mph. My first Roto Grip Wreck-em I drilled it like my Wreck-it and the pin is just left of my ring finger and the cg is stacked and this drilling has been really good for me for this line. The new Roto Grip Wreck Em is the newest HP2 ball featuring the Neutron core that powered the Wrecker and Wreck-It with a Pearl Reactive cover. This gives the ball the same even motion that made those previous releases so good, but allows the ball to get further downlane and increases the back-end motion. I've found this ball to be a godsend when I don't want to go away from my wreck-it but am forced to because the front-end burns up. The Pearl cover lets me keep the same readable motion in a ball that will get through the burn and still turn over at the end of the pattern. When I am bowling on anything short like Kegel Las Angeles, or Kegel Boardwalk, or even on THS this is the ball I go to. This ball is good on Medium to Dry Lanes. When the Wreck-em is not enough ball then I will go to my Roto Grip Hy-wire. I have shot a 300,812 this year with the Wreck-em on the Kegel Boardwalk oil pattern. The Wreck-em is a really strong ball and you are getting more ball for the price and that has been the same for the whole wrecker line and that is why this line has been so popular. If you are needing a ball that is strong and hits like a tank and need it for Medium to Light and even THS patterns, then the Wreck-em is the ball you need in your bag. So get to your Local Pro Shop and pick up a Wreck-em today. #wreck-em #ownit #rotogrip

My name is Doug Cutler and I am a Roto Grip/Storm Amateur Staffer and I am doing a Ball Review on the Roto Grip Wreck It. I am left handed and my ball speed is between 15-16mph. All I can say is that Roto Grip has mastered this price rage as having a really strong ball for not much money. I drilled my Wreck it with the Pin above my Ring finger and pretty much straight up with the CG and a 4" pin. The surface is out of box finish. I have used this ball on Typical House shots, and also on Kegel Abby Road(37 Foot), and on Kegel Boardwalk (35 Foot). This ball really works on Medium to Light oil patterns along with THS. I have also seen people use this ball on Heavy oil patterns also. If the Wreck It is not enough ball I will go up to my Roto Grip Hy-Wire. The Roto Grip Wreck-It is everything you could want in a hybrid Wrecker. At times the Wrecker was just too snappy off the spot down lane, but not with the Wreck-It! The Wreck-It has just about the same amount of hook overall as the Wrecker but is much earlier and smoother. It really blends out the friction and continuous like crazy down lane! Bowlers will be able to throw the Wreck-It on a numerous amount of conditions since it clears the front part of the lane so well while always getting into a strong yet smooth roll. The Roto Grip Wreck-It bowling ball continues the success of the popular Wrecker bowling ball. The Neutron core in this ball is the motor that provides length and strong down-lane reaction. You won't find a better mid-performance core on the market. The cover on this ball is the Psyched Hybrid Reactive cover stock that is finished with a 3000-grit pad. This ball provides more reaction and more versatility than its ancestor, the Wrecker, but at a reasonable price. This is a ball you will want in your bag, I promise you! Go ahead and Wreck-It! #ownit #wreckit

My name is Doug Cutler and I am Storm/Roto Grip Staffer. I am left handed and I throw between 15-16 MPH. My Alpa Crux I drilled it 45 x 4 1/2 x 70. The surface I have on it is Out Of Box 2000 Grit. I am new to the Storm Staff and all I can say about this Alpah Crux is WOW!! This ball hooks and I am able to move inside and open the lane up and it won't burn up and lose hitting power if I miss left with it, or if I pull it in the oil it digs in the oil and still hits hard. The is the strongest Asymmetrical ball that I have ever had from any company. I have used this on our Typical House shot 41 Foot, and I have also used this on PBA Shark pattern. This ball is great on Heavy Oil Patterns, but could also us it on Medium Oil Pattern with some surface change. I have used this ball the last 2 weeks in league and have not shot under 760 series and had a 289, and 279 game. One week I had 2 other lefties on my pair and were playing around 10 and I wanted to keep away from them so I was able to use the Alpha Crux and move in around 15 and kept it in the oil and had a better look and carried more and they tried to move in but could not carry like I did because they did not have a strong enough ball. When I start with this ball and if the Alpha Crux starts to read the lanes to early then I go to the Lock and the Alpa Crux and the Lock are a good 1 to 2 punch. If you are on a short pattern then this ball is not for you. If you are looking for a really strong ball that will let you move in the oil and if you miss the ball either in our out you won't lose carry, then this is the ball for you. I am really impressed with this ball so far and I am going to drill another one up and drill it pin up. This ball is the Real Deal, and has been one of the most popular balls on the market for a few months and are still selling a lot of them. So get to your Local Pro Shop today and purchase a Alpha Crux. You will not be disappointed!! Bowl Up A Storm! #alphacrux #stormnation

My name is Doug Cutler and I am a Storm Staffer and I am left handed. I throw the ball between 15-16mph and I am considered to be a stroker. This review is for the Astrophysix and man this ball is a beast. I have drilled the Astrophysix 70 x 5 x 35 and the surface I used a 3000 pad on it. This ball I have used on our house shots and also on Heavy oil pattern like the PBA Bear. This ball is really clean in the mid lane and it saves its energy for the back and has a lot of back end reaction. This is the strongest Asymmetrical ball I have ever had. I really like the R2S Coverstock and the ball is special. I really liked the Physix and the Astrophysix is a great compliment. I have used both of these a lot and I usually start on our House shot with the Astrophysix and then when the Astrophysix is going to far then I will go to the Physix. With the Astrophysix I am able to play way outside like around 5th or out and I can also play 4th arrow and I just change hand positions. This ball is great for THS, and medium to Heavy Oil Patterns. If you are looking for a good House shot ball or a strong ball that is clean in the mid lane, then you need this ball in your bag. Another Fantastic ball from Storm. Go to your local Pro Shop and purchase your Storm Astrophysix today. #stormnation #astrophysix

My name is Doug Cutler and I am a Storm/Roto Grip Staffer and my ball review today is the Storm Code Black. I am left handed and my ball speed is around 15.5-16.0. I drilled my Code black with my Favorite drilling Pin Under the fingers, and the CG kicked to the left a little. The surface I hit it with a used 3000 and man I love it. This Code Black is a Beast. The Code Black is the Strongest Assym Storm has in their line and I think it is the strongest Assym on the market. I have used this ball on multiple lanes conditions from Medium to Long patterns like Abby Road, and Rome, and Mexico City to your Typical House Shot and have done well on all of the conditions. I have shot 1- 300 and a 813 with this ball. The Code Black definitely creates angle down lane. It will be best used on longer patterns, but can be used on medium patterns when you need more down lane motion. When I need something strong, but my Alpha Crux and Snap are to early, I use the Code Black. Comparing it to the Snap Lock, the Code Black is cleaner and more angular down lane. What makes the Code Black special is that it doesn't give you the over/under reaction you can get from pearl bowling balls. While it clears the front of the lane, it still picks up in the right spot and creates nice angle to go through the pins. If you needing a strong angular ball in your bag, you need to get yourself a Code Black. I promise you will not be disappointed. #codeblack #stormnation #bowlupastorm

My name is Doug Cutler and I am a Storm Staffer and I have had drilled 2 Crux primes and man both of these balls are awesome. My First Crux Prime I drilled 70 x 4 1/2 x 35 and the surface is 4000 grit. This ball I tried out of the box but man it was really strong and for the shot we were bowling on I had to bring the surface up to 4000 grit and man this is the ball I use right out of the bag. I am able to stay left early and keep my ball speed up and I am able to use this ball for about 2 1/2 games and then I go to my Pin down Crux prime and move right and open my angles up. This ball with this layout I can use it on THS, and Medium to Heavy Oil Patterns. My Second Crux Prime I drilled 45 x 4 1/2 x 70 and the surface is 3000 grit. This Crux I really like when there is carry down and man this balls does not read to early and it save more energy in the back and has a lot of shape and man it hits hard. I use this crux on Medium to Heavy Oil Patterns and you can use it on THS. I would say that this would not be a ball for short oil patterns. I have used these 2 crux primes a lot and if you liked the original crux you will love this crux also. This is a ball you will definitely need in you ball, so get to your local pro shop and purchase your Crux Prime if you have not gotten one yet. Storm hit another home run with this ball. #stormnation #cruxprime #bowlupastorm

My name is Doug Cutler and I am a Storm/Roto Grip Regional Staffer. I am Left Handed and throw about 15-16mph. The Storm Drive is the 2nd Version of the Belmo Signature Series. The Storm Drive I think really compliments the Timeless. People liked and hated the Timeless and some of the complaints was the ball was not to strong in the midlane and the Drive for me really did this for me. I really like the Timeless and when the Drive came out I was really excited. I have used the Drive on fresh shots and even on THS in the beginning. The Drive reads the Midlane really good and has a smooth back end reaction and is really controllable. The Drive works well on Medium to Oily lanes and also THS. I shot 1-300 and 1-800 so far with the Drive. I shot 800 with the first time I used the ball. This is a ball you can start with on Fresh Shots and hits really hard and keeps the pins low. If the ball starts to read to early, then I got to my Roto Grip Fused. If the Drive is not enough then I go to the Storm Code X. The Storm Drive is a ball I really like and I think you would also. #stormnation #stormdrive #bowlupastorm

My Name is Doug Cutler and I am Storm Staffer. I am left handed and throw between 15-16 mph. All I can say about the Gravity Evolve is WOW. Storm did great research on this ball. For this ball with this Spec Cover Stock I did not have to alter the cover stock where I bowl at for me to use it. I liked the Crux Prime but I had to bring it up to 5000 grit because it was too strong in the midlane and rolled out. The Gravity Evolve I really like because the ball got strong the more I used it. Plus it did not soak up oil that much during a set like some of the other balls like the Crux Prime. The Gravity Evolve is really clean in the mid lane and has a really strong back end reaction. If the gravity evolve starts to read to early, I would go to my Phaze 3. I have used this ball on Typical House shots, and also on Medium to Heavy Oil Patterns. I have had 1-300 Game with the Gravity Evolve. This is a ball I think you should have in your bag. This ball will be in my bag for Nationals. This is a Home Run for Storm. #stormnation

My name is Doug Cutler and I am a Storm Amateur Staffer. I am left handed and throw between 15-16mph. This review is for the Storm IQ Emerald. This ball I am really impressed and I have used a lot on several oil conditions. I have drilled this ball with the pin just above the ring finger and it is stacked and the sure face on the ball I have used a used 3000 to take the shine off the ball. I usually take a 3000 pad on all of my pearl balls and this just makes the ball more controllable. I use this ball on our House shots and also medium to short lane conditions. This ball is between my Pro Motion and my Roto Grip Idol Pro. I use this ball when the Pro Motion starts to read early and start to leave flat 7 pins and also 10 pins. This IQ Emerald is really clean and predictable and I have used this ball a lot and still hits hard. If you want a ball for THS or medium patterns then this is a ball you will need in your bag. This is another IQ that has sold really well. I can use this ball with either playing up the back of the ball or on the side of the ball. Another Great ball from Storm. #stormnation #iqemerald

My name is Doug Cutler and I am Storm Staffer and this ball review is for the New Storm Phaze 3. I am left handed and my ball speed is around 15-16mph. For my first Phaze 3 I drilled the ball with the pin down and for the surface I hit the ball with a used 3000 pad and used light pressure. All I can say is this ball is strong and good back end, even though the pin is down. I have used this ball the last 4 weeks and also have used this ball with the Phaze 2. These 2 balls work so well together, and have brought these 2 balls and my spare ball the last 2 weeks and I bowl on 3 different house shots. If I start with the Phaze 3 and when the ball starts to go to long then I go to the Phaze 2. When I start with the Phaze 2 and then when the ball starts to read to early and start to leave some 7 pins then I will go to the Phaze 3. I am going to get another Phaze 3 and drill it with the Pin up. I have shot 6 series over 720, and 5 games over 260. The Phaze 3 is such a great bench mark ball along with the Phaze and the ball looks good and also smells good also. This ball has been a hot ball so far and we can't keep them in stock. I would use this ball on THS, and also on Medium patterns and have also tried it on Short patterns. I have used them ball playing way outside and even have used it inside around 20 -10 and still hits hard. If you don't have this ball yet in your bag, I would suggest getting one. If you love the Phaze 2, you are going to love the Phaze 3. The phaze 3 is really versatile and it won't matter how you throw the ball, you will like it. I have used the ball using multiple hand positions and could continue using the ball longer. #stormnation #phaze3

My Name is Doug Cutler and I am a Storm/Roto Grip Regional Staffer. I am left handed and I my ball speed is between 15-16mph. The ball review today is on the Storm Soniq and I want to say that this ball is a special one. I have used this ball on numerous patterns and was able to use it which is great because it is not a ball that is for a specific pattern. The surface I have on my Soniq, is I lightly hit the surface with a 3000 Abralon pad. I drilled the Soniq with the Pin Above my Ring finger and CG kicked to the left just a little. The Soniq is very clean through the midlane and has a strong back end reaction. I hit the surface with the 3000 pad to blend the motion and be very controllable. The Soniq I have shot 1-300, and 2-800 series(802,816). I compare the Soniq with the Storm Drive. The Soniq against the Drive for me the Soniq is cleaner through the mid then the Drive, and the Soniq is much more angular in the back then the Drive. These 2 balls are really great for me and they are a great 1-2 punch. I normally start out with the Drive on our House Shot and then when I start to get early hook and start to leave some 7 pins I go with the Soniq and I can stay in the same spot or even move right a few boards and open up the lane a little. This ball works really good on THS, and Medium to Oily Lanes. This is a ball I would highly recommend you need in your bag, and is a really good House Shot ball, Oh and it really Smells good also!! #stormsoniq, #stormnation #bowlupastorm
