The Black Ops is a true classic brought back to life. It will give a lot of performance without breaking the bank. Come 1500 Polished which handles medium-medium heavy really well. Sand it and you bring heavy pattern into play with ease. Even though the Black Ops has a strong asymmetrical core it does have a strong motion in the backend and through the pins. The classic black color is always good in performance balls. Many player will need this added addition to their bag. All styles will have a use for the Black Ops. ;D

The Chemical X is a good addition to the 900 Global line. It give a distinctive different reaction to what is already in the line. In box finish it will handle med-med/heavy patterns depending on rev rate. Easy through the heads, mild mid lane read, and a smooth reaction downlane. The Chemical X is not a ball to cross many boards the more online you can keep the line the better the ball will go through the pins. Smoothing the cover more and even a little polish will give more length, but will still allow for a arcing type reaction. The Chemical X will fit many styles. On dryer lanes it will be better for higher ball speeds. This is a reaction that all tournament players will need in the bag.

The newest addition to the 900 Global HP line is the Dream Big. A solid version with the same core shape as the Dream and Dream On. This ball looks for oil. Earlier than the Dream On, but a smoother shape downlane. Will be better for the player that needs an strong oil ball that will still have some control. The Dream Big is designed for heavier pattern and will excel on them. Slow speeds may need to smooth the surface or even polish to make it more versatile. Also the Dream Big can be used on the heavier part of the wet dry without responding to hard if you miss to the dry. The Dream Big rounds out the Dream line well with 3 different reaction to fit most players needs. 8)

House Patterns two different locations.

The Dream On is the strongest ball in the new 900 Global line. It is a good 5 boards stronger than the original Dream for me. It is a good selection for Heavy patterns or lower rev rates. It does not burn up down lane unless it is on the dry side. Polish may need to be added to try to use on medium patterns. Rolls strong threw the pins keeping them low. I don't feel you have to drill this ball to strong to get superior performance for most players. This ball is hook in a box.

Pros: low rev rates, high ball speeds, heavy oil pattern
Cons: slow speeds, lower volume oil patterns.

I have the new Moxie for a few weeks, so ready to post a review. My specs are about 380-400 rpm, ball speed and rev rate match up well. The layout is 40X5 3/4"X40. Most lane conditions I bowl on are the THS, but also used it on a long house pattern with heavier volume. With this layout the ball cleared the front easy, revs up strong in the late midlane, and a strong motion in the backend. I hesitate to say angular, because of the ball is in OOB surface. The Moxie is earlier than the Dream, which makes it a good starting ball on the heavier condition. The Moxie is stronger than most symmetrical high end balls I've seen. This will make it good on heavier conditions for those who still need to see good continuation in the back part of the lane, unless it is too dry. Polish may help that. I will be drilling another in a stronger pin down and will review soon.

The layout of the 2nd Moxie I drilled was 80X4 1/2"X70. This was a more aggressive layout with a much earlier reaction. The Moxie is a good ball for high speeds and/or lower rev rate. I would not be afraid to match it up against all strong symmetrical balls on the market today. Also, for an aggressive ball it still makes a strong move down lane, not angular but a strong and continuous.

Thrown on House Pattern in 2 different houses

The Respect is clean threw the heads, reads the midlane strong, with good continuous backend. The Respect will be for medium heavy patterns, the new covers from 900 Global are strong and each line fits in its proper price point. The Respect will fit in well when The Moxie starts to read the lane too earlier. You can blend out the backend with just a little surface. I would not call it skid/flip but for some this well give an easier read on a fresh pattern.

Eye catching colors should stand out on the shelf. Goes through the pins strong, keeping then low for good carry percentage. The Respect should work well for many styles, higher ball speeds may need a little surface to prevent the ball skidding to far, lower speeds may want to consider a length drill to prevent early hook. ;D

The Respect Pearl should be a house shot killer for most players. It gives better length through the midlane than the Respect and stores more energy for the backend. The change in the core number along with the all pearl gives the different motion. For me it fits right between the Dream and the Respect. As soon as the Respect burns up a early go right to the Respect Pearl without much moving. Strong motion on the backend which most league bowlers like to see, and when matches up goes through the pins great throwing them around. Great for medium heavy to - med dry depending on rev rate and ball speed. Sanding the surface will also allow the Respect Pearl to handle more oil. I see the Respect Pearl being the go to ball for many bowlers this season.

The Pure's strong cover handles the heavier patterns with a smooth continuous motion in the backend. The core revs easily in the midlane. The motion seems to fit players with higher rev rates because of its transition downlane and it does not give the "sideways" motion. Lower rev rates may have to use more surface for longer/heavier patterns. The Pure is a must add to the bag for the USBC Open Championships in El Paso.

I would love to see a pearl version of this ball in the future
