The all new Altered Reality features the Disturbance Core which was found on the original Reality wrapped with the S84 Responsive Pearl Reactive coverstock (pearl version of the Reality cover). This new cover and core combination is a first in the 900 series line and it does not disappoint. The Altered Reality and Reality are great compliments to one another. When the Reality starts to burn up a bit early, I am able to switch to the Altered Reality to maintain similar ball motion in the front part of the lane while creating more pop down lane. The Reality and Altered Reality are an excellent 1-2 punch, go out and get yours today!

The all new Eternity (Altered reality 2.0) is a perfect replacement to the Altered Reality that was banned last season. This ball is everything that the Altered Reality was and just a little more. This ball has the same strong early roll, however, the Eternity is a little more continuous through the pins. The Altered Reality was a great piece, however there were limits to how far left I could get before I ran into carry issues. Eternity solves this issue, I am able to keep moving left without fear of losing carry percentage. I am extremely excited for this release, this ball will be a go-to in my bag for a long time!

The all new Eternity Pi is a great ball for players who like a strong continuous motion with a symmetric core. Typically, I do not have a lot of success with bigger asymmetric bowling balls, however, this ball seems to dance the fine line between strong, early motion and downlane shape. Even when you move left with this ball it still continues through the pins where usually strong asymmetric balls like this lock up. I have been able to see a large amount of success from a variety of people with this ball and I have no doubt there will be tons of success to come! Go out and get yours today!

Hook in a bottle! If you are looking for a ball that just flat out hooks, look no further than the all new Harsh Reality. The all new Harsh Reality features all new A.I. Core Technology! The Disturbance A.I. Asymmetric Core will provide a familiar look on the lanes yet with more overall performance than that of the original Reality. Paired with the Reserve Blend 902 Solid Cover which was specifically crafted for the heaviest of conditions, the Harsh Reality will be the strongest ball that 900 Global has ever produced! If you are looking for a ball to throw on heavy oil, or if you need a ball to pick up and hook under all conditions, look no further than the all new Harsh Reality, go to your local VIP pro shop and pick one up for yourself today!

The Harsh Reality Pearl excels in delivering a strong, angular backend reaction thanks to its high friction coverstock and pearlized finish. When compared to current offerings like the Roto Grip UFO Alert and the Storm Proton Physix, the Harsh Reality Pearl stands out for its more pronounced and sharper backend motion. The UFO Alert, with its hybrid coverstock, provides a more controlled and smoother transition, while the Proton Physix, known for its solid coverstock, delivers a more even and predictable roll. In contrast, the Harsh Reality Pearl’s aggressive nature makes it a go-to option for bowlers needing a ball that can tackle heavy oil patterns with a strong, dynamic backend reaction.

From my perspective, the 900 Global Origin is an excellent, versatile addition to the 2024 Storm Products lineup, filling a unique role between balls like the Eternity Pi and Sublime Focus. While the Eternity Pi digs in early and shines on heavier oil with a smooth, continuous backend, it can sometimes hook too early as the lanes transition. On the other hand, the Sublime Focus is great for control on medium-heavy oil but doesn’t have the same backend finish that I get with the Origin. The Origin’s S84 Response Pearl coverstock allows it to store energy for a quick, controlled backend reaction, making it effective on a range of conditions. This balance of control and punch makes the Origin

As a bowler who thrives on versatility and control, the 900 Global Origin has been a game-changer in my arsenal. The new Ellipse A.I. core, with its low RG of 2.48 and high differential of 0.050, revs up quickly and maintains energy through the pins, providing a strong and continuous backend motion. Paired with the RB89 Solid coverstock and 2000 grit finish, the Origin EX offers a midlane traction and even ball roll throughout the lane, making it ideal for medium to heavy oil conditions. Compared to other balls in the 900 Global lineup, the Origin EX fits perfectly between the Harsh Reality and Origin, offering more control off the breakpoint compared to other balls in this line. Its ability to adapt as lanes transition without sacrificing carry makes it a reliable choice for league play and tournaments alike. For bowlers seeking a strong, asymmetric solid that delivers both power and control, the Origin EX is a must-have addition to the bag. Go to your local VIP proshop today and get yours!

The newest addition to the 900 series line is the 900 Global Reality Check. The new Reality Check comes to us after the Altered Reality was banned in certain events by USBC. The Reality Check has the S84 Beta hybrid coverstock compared to the Altered Reality that featured the S84 Response Pearl Coverstock. I could definitely tell the difference between these two balls, the Reality Check is much earlier and smoother downlane. The Reality check is a smooth asymmetrical option that Global has been missing over the last couple of years. I think that this ball will get plenty of play on all types of patterns. I think that this ball will be a good step down from a Reality when it starts to burn up. You can switch to the Reality Check and get the controllability you need in the front part of the lane while getting more down lane motion. This will be a ball you do not want to miss out on, go out and get yours today!

The all new 900 Global Sublime is money! This ball is quickly becoming one of my favorites. The sublime features the Reserve Blend 802 Hybrid Cover, finished with Reacta Gloss wrapped around the all new Immersed Symmetric A.I. Core. This ball is very special, I feel that the Sublime encompasses all of the best parts of Zen and adds to it! This ball has a similar shape, but it digs in and corners a little more down lane. I think that those that like the Zen can definitely stick with it, but if you liked the Zen, but you wanted a little more then look no further than the Sublime. The Sublime has already created a ton of buzz across the country and I have no doubt that it will continue its success! Personally I have bowled two sets with this ball and I am averaging 261 (772-794). The sublime will be in my bag for a long time, you need to go out and get yours today! #Sublimeballgood

The Sublime Focus gives me a clean look through the fronts with a smooth, controlled move downlane, making it perfect for medium to lighter oil conditions. It blends the pattern well without being too sharp or jumpy at the breakpoint, which is what I really like about it. Compared to the original Sublime, the Focus is more predictable, offering a smoother, more manageable motion when lanes start to break down. If you’ve got a ball like the Phase 2 for heavier oil, the Sublime Focus makes a great compliment when you need something that will still finish strong but won’t overreact when the lanes start to dry up. It's versatile and reliable, offering a nice balance of control and continuation.

The Wolverine Dark Moss is 900 Global’s newest addition to their 700 Series. The Dark Moss is 900 Global’s replacement to the Original Wolverine after it got banned from certain USBC events. I think that they have done a great job replacing this ball. With that being said, I feel that the Dark Moss and the original Wolverine are very similar, however, the Dark Moss is earlier and smoother (I attribute this to the Dark Moss having the 4k fast finish compared to the 1500 polish featured on the Wolverine). I believe that I would use them both in a very similar spot, however I would probably use the Dark Moss earlier in the day than the Wolverine. I think that the Dark Moss will be a great addition to your tournament or houseshot bag! Go out and get yours today!

The all new Xponent has fast become one of my favorites. This ball is a great piece that fits perfectly between my Phase 2 and !Q tour. The Xponent features the all-new Reserve Blend 701 Cover has been paired with the Shrapnel 2.0 Symmetric Core to create an optimal shape for a benchmark ball. I see a lot of versatility with this bal which is what I want out of a benchmark ball. I am able to play straight angles and I am also able to move left and open up the lane while not sacrificing ball motion. I have no doubt that this ball will be in my arsenal for a long time.

The newest addition to the 900 Global 700 blend line is the Xponent Pearl. The Xponent Pearl features the same core found in the Xponent wrapped around the all new 702 pearl blend. This ball is a great step down from the original Xponent, this ball is cleaner and more angular than the first release of the Xponent. I think that this ball will be a staple in the bag. The ball is strong enough to throw early in blocks, yet versatile enough to throw as the lanes break down and you need to move to the inside part of the lane. You will not want to miss out on this great option, go to your local VIP pro shop and pick one up for yourself today!

The 900 Global Zen 25 is a high-performance ball designed for medium to heavy oil conditions, featuring the Reserve 83 Blend Pearl Reactive coverstock and a refined version of the Meditate Symmetric AI Core, offering an aggressive motion with exceptional versatility. Its combination of mid-lane traction and strong backend reaction provides a consistent, predictable motion with impressive continuation through the pocket, making it a great choice for a wide range of bowlers. Compared to the 900 Global Sublime, which features the Immersed Symmetrical AI Core and Reserve Blend 802 Hybrid Reactive Coverstock, the Zen 25 has more overall hook potential and a sharper backend, making it better suited for heavier oil conditions. The original Zen, while utilizing the Meditate Symmetrical Core, has a similar pearl coverstock (S77 Response Pearl Reactive), but produces a slightly smoother overall motion with less sharpness on the backend compared to the Zen 25, which has been refined for more angularity and stronger continuation.

Zen ball good! The Zen has been one of my favorite balls for the last 2 years and I am confident that the Zen gold label will be a great addition to the Zen family. The gold label is a little cleaner than the original Zen with more downlane shape. If you are a fan of the Zen, but you would like to have a cleaner option, then you need to get out and get a Zen Gold Label. I personally do not think that I would have both the Zen and the Gold Label in the same bag because they have too similar of an option. I have loved what I have seen out of this ball so far and I look forward to adding this ball to my tournament and house shot arsenal. Go out and get yours today!

Brand new Urethane! I am extremely excited by the newest release from 900 Global. I am a big fan of the Pitch Black and the Zen. This combination brings them together. The Zen U features the S34 Urethane+ cover with the Mediate LD Symmetric core. The Mediate core was featured in the original Zen, however the Mediate LD has a less dense core to help give that traditional urethane feel. This ball is a great bridge between my Pitch Black and the UC3. This ball will get a lot of play time on a multitude of patterns, especially when you want to control the pocket and the Pitch Black isn’t shaping the correct way. I will definitely be bringing this ball with me wherever I go, make sure that you go out and get yours November 18th!

The newest addition to Roto Grip’s HP4 line is none other than the Attention Star. The Attention Star features the original Momentous™ Core which was featured primarily overseas, however, Storm's R&D team wanted to make it better than ever. They used A.I. technology to create a motion that we have not seen before. This all new core is wrapped around the time tested and proven eTrax™ PLUS Pearl Reactive coverstock to give an overall reaction unlike anything offered on earth today. I personally do not have a lot of success with asymmetric pearl bowling balls, however, this ball is an exception to that. I am able to do whatever I need to with this ball, I am able to play straighter (with tighter angles) as well as move in and shape the lane as the lanes break down. You will not want to miss out on this great new ball, go to your local VIP pro shop and pick one up for yourself today!

The Roto Grip Attention Star S2 improves on the original Attention Star by incorporating the eTrax™ PLUS Hybrid coverstock, which offers a blend of solid and pearl reactive materials for better traction through the mid-lane and a stronger, more controlled backend motion. While the original Attention Star was known for its solid performance on medium-heavy oil, with its eTrax™ Hybrid coverstock providing a smooth yet reliable backend, the S2 takes this a step further with improved response to lane friction and a more aggressive finish. Additionally, the Momentous AV+ core in the S2 is refined to offer greater power and consistency, making it more adaptable to a variety of oil conditions, especially on longer or transitioning patterns. I like that I can throw this ball earlier in blocks than I could use the original Attention Star. The Attention Star S2 provides a more dynamic option, blending power and predictability for bowlers who need a ball that adapts well as the lanes change.

The all new Roto Grip Clone reminds me a lot of the UFO Alert. The Clone has all of the great parts about the Alert with more midlane control. The main difference that I feel changes the ball motion comes from the OpiTrax Solid Coverstock. The cover gets the ball into roll quickly, while still giving the downlane shape that you are looking for in the Clone. I am excited to see what this ball can do on a variety of different conditions, make sure you go and get yours today!

The all new Exotic Gem features the same Defiant LRG Core wrapped around the MicroTrax Pearl Reactive coverstock with the Reacta gloss finish. This ball has pleasantly surprised me, I am typically not a fan of the low RG asymmetric pearls, however this ball seems to be something special. This ball gives you the strong controllable motion you saw from the Gem, but the coverstock allows you to open up your angles and strike when the original Gem struggles to get the corner pins out. I have seen some success with this ball already and I fully expect to have this ball in my bag for the foreseeable future. The newest addition to the HP4 line in the all new GEM. The GEM features the Defiant™ LRG Core - (the lowest RG asymmetrical core Roto Grip has ever created.). The LRG Core is wrapped with the most aggressive solid coverstock we make known as MicroTrax™ Solid Reactive. This lethal combination makes bowling on high volume patterns an easy task. I have been pleasantly surprised with this ball, for how strong the ball is the ball is still able to retain energy through the pins. The VTC™ Solid Reactive coverstock, finished at 2000-grit Abralon, gives the Hustle Earth an earlier read in the midlane and a smooth, predictable backend that’s perfect when control is more important than raw angle. Compared to other balls in the Hustle line, the Earth offers a bit more traction than the Xray, Glow or M-M, making it ideal for controlling over/under or flattening out the reaction late in blocks. When I need a ball that can create shape without overreacting on drier lane conditions, the Roto Grip Hustle Glow has quickly earned its spot in my bag. Featuring the proven Hustle™ Core with an RG of 2.53 and a differential of 0.030, this ball delivers a smooth, controlled motion that excels on light to medium oil conditions. The VTC™ Pearl Reactive coverstock, finished with Reacta Gloss™, allows the Hustle Glow to glide effortlessly through the fronts with a cleaner, more angular move off the friction compared to other Hustles. When stacked against the Hustle X-Ray, M-M, and Hustle Earth, the Glow is clearly the cleanest through the front part of the lane and the most responsive off the dry. It's the perfect complement to the Earth, which reads earlier with its solid cover and 2000 grit finish, making the Glow a great go-to when you need added length and downlane pop as the lanes open up. The all new Hustle RIP features the VTC Solid Reactive coverstock with the Reacta Gloss finish wrapped around the Hustle Core. I am extremely excited for this ball because it is a remake of my favorite Hustle the Hustle Ink. I have had a lot of success with the Hustle Ink in the past and I fully expect that the Hustle RIP to be a great replacement. I have liked what I have seen so far and I look forward to getting more use with it in the future, go out and get yours today!

The all new Hustle USA is the newest addition to the Hustle line. The Hustle line has been the best low tier ball line in the market and the USA will be no exception. The Hustle USA features the VTC Hybrid Coverstock with a 3000 grit finish. This is a lethal combination that helps players of all abilities have a strong controllable piece for all oil patterns. This ball will be particularly good for players that are rev dominant that are looking for a step down from a Phase II, Idol Helios, and/or a Zen Soul. The Roto Grip Hustle Xray has quickly become a key player in my bowling lineup, delivering exceptional performance and versatility on the lanes. Equipped with the advanced Hustle core and the rugged R3S coverstock, this ball provides a dependable and controlled reaction that shines on medium to heavy oil patterns. Compared to other balls in the Hustle series, such as the Hustle BRY, the Xray offers a more pronounced backend reaction and better traction on oilier conditions, making it a great choice when more control and power are needed. Its smooth, predictable motion allows me to navigate various lane conditions with ease, while its durability ensures consistent performance frame after frame. Plus, the striking visual design adds a bold statement to my gear. Overall, the Hustle Xray’s superb balance of control and power sets it apart within the lineup, making it a valuable asset for elevating my game.

The all new Hyped Hybrid features the Hyped™ Core which was created to provide us more overall ball motion than the Hustle™ Core found in the HP1 Line, while also creating a viable step down option (less performance) than the motions found from our HP3 Line of balls. Roto Grip accomplished this goal. The Hyped Core provides a strong overall ball motion from front to back while allowing the ball to hook a large amount down lane. The Hybrid is a little earlier than the Pearl which allows you to play a little straighter angles, however, each ball is only 1-2 boards different from one another with the Hybrid hooking more than the pearl. This ball is an absolute monster for the price point, you will not be disappointed with either the Hybrid or Pearl, go out and get yours today!

This ball will be good especially for players that are rev dominant, or those who want a weaker solid ball that will allow you to stay closer to the friction. The Idol is back! The original Idol was a staple in almost every tournament bowler's bag for the better part of 2 years. Now, Roto Grip has come out with the latest and greatest Idol, the Idol Helios. The Helios features the same core as the original Idol that we all loved (Ikon™), wrapped around the all new XtremeTrax™ coverstock which is chemically charged with nano particles which allows the ball to have the highest response to friction that we have seen from the nano material. The Idol Helios for me seems to be a little cleaner and rounder than the original Idol. I am pleased with what I have seen so far out of this ball and I anticipate seeing this ball used a lot by bowlers across the country on a variety of sport and challenge conditions. The newest addition to the Gem family is going to be a great addition. One of the biggest issues that I saw with the Gem was that it was so early and strong that you would lose carry from time to time. The all new Magic Gem has solved this issue in a major way! The Magic Gem is still early and strong, but its biggest attribute is that it is a touch more angular. The angle that this ball creates compared to the OG Gem can be the difference between striking and leaving a flat 10 or weak a 7 pin. The Magic Gem features the same Defiant LRG Core, however, its has the MicroTrax hybrid coverstock compared to the Solid coverstock in the original Gem. I am very pleased with what I have seen from this ball so far and I am sure this ball will get a ton of use from a variety of bowlers, do not hesitate, go out and get yours today.

The Roto Grip Optimum Idol Pearl is a strong contender for bowlers seeking a blend of mid-lane control and backend power. With its MicroTrax Pearl Reactive coverstock and the innovative Ikon + A.I. Core, this ball is designed to excel on medium to medium-heavy oil conditions. It provides a smooth, yet strong reaction through the midlane and a controlled, but pronounced move at the breakpoint, making it an excellent choice when lanes start to transition. Compared to other balls in the Idol series, this pearlized version offers a cleaner motion with plenty of backend continuation, perfect for when you need a step down from more aggressive options. It’s a versatile ball that can fit into various arsenals, delivering reliable performance across different lane conditions.

The Roto Grip RST Hyper Drive is a powerhouse for bowlers seeking strong mid-lane read with a controlled yet aggressive backend motion. Featuring the RST + A.I. Core and the MicroTrax Solid Coverstock, this ball blends the best of both worlds—strong traction in oil while retaining energy for a dynamic finish. Out of the box at 2000-grit Abralon, it handles medium to heavy oil conditions exceptionally well, providing a smooth yet continuous motion without being overly sharp. Compared to the original RST X-1 and X-2, the Hyper Drive offers a slightly earlier roll with a more predictable backend, making it ideal for players who want consistency without sacrificing hitting power. Whether you're a high-rev player looking for control or a straighter player needing extra motion, the RST Hyper Drive delivers a well-balanced reaction that excels in transition.

The all new TNT fills a major hole in the SPI line that I have personally been looking for lately. SPI has been missing a low RG symmetrical solid with a strong cover like the eTrax Plus Solid coverstock featured on the TNT. This ball by the numbers (RG/Diff) is extremely close to the Phase II, however, the new eTrax Plus Solid coverstock gives me more grip and responsiveness to the friction. This ball will be extremely good when I need to blend out wet/dry lane conditions. Historically, symmetrical balls roll better for me than asymmetric cores so I am excited for this ball to go into my tournament arsenal so I can have a ball with a strong symmetric core/cover combination that I can help me hook it with the best of them on long/high volume oil patterns. This ball will be a must have for tournament bowlers looking for a strong controllable motion on longer fresh oil patterns.

The all new TNT Infused is Roto Grips newest addition to the HP3 line. The infused features the Torpex Core (in the original TNT as well) with the eTrax Hybrid coverstock (with Reacta gloss) wrapped around it. I think that the Infused was a great addition to the line, I felt that the original TNT was a ball that was very shot dependent. If I needed a ball to be slow and rolly it was my go-to ball, however, I thought that the coverstock may have been too strong unless there was a lot of oil in the front part of the lane. I think that the eTrax Hybrid coverstock is more of what I like to see out of a ball, it allows the ball to slow down in the midlane without bogging down when it gets to the pins. The TNT Infused is great when you want to move in and open up the lane without sacrificing midlane control. This ball made a good ball (TNT) even better! The all new Roto Grip Tour Dynam-x features all new technology with control in mind. This ball is a unique piece that will be a great addition to any tournament players bag. This ball was built with tour players in mind, they wanted to have a ball that would give a controllable ball motion that does not deviate from its line very easily. In my mind I feel like this ball was created to give a urethane feel without the ball destroying an oil pattern. From what I have seen from this ball so far I will be able to throw this ball on a variety of patterns, this ball doesn’t do anything spooky. For someone that has a higher rev rate, this ball will allow me to stay further right on more patterns which is something that I am always looking for. When I’m looking for a ball that blends power, control, and a modern motion shape, the Roto Grip Ultimate Wrecker delivers in a big way. It features the updated Wrecker + A.I. Core Technology, which lowers the RG and boosts the differential, helping the ball rev up faster and produce a more dynamic overall motion. The new Pure-Response Hybrid Reactive coverstock, finished with Power Edge factory finish, gives the Ultimate Wrecker a clean look through the fronts with a strong, controlled move in the midlane and a punchy continuation through the pins. Compared to other balls in the Roto Grip lineup like the Duo or Hustle M-M, the Ultimate Wrecker offers more shape and traction than the Hustles but with a quicker response and more downlane pop than the smoother-rolling Duo. It’s the kind of ball that shines when the lanes start to open up or you need a reliable read without sacrificing hit. For league and tournament players alike, the Ultimate Wrecker is a versatile, modern update to a classic name. Go to your local VIP proshop today and get yours!

The Roto Grip X-Cell is a powerful addition to the Roto Grip lineup, bringing back the iconic Nucleus core with a modern twist. This ball is designed for those who need a strong, reliable reaction on heavier oil patterns. The eTrax Ultra Solid Reactive coverstock, finished at 2000 grit Abralon, delivers a smooth yet strong motion that excels in mid-lane read and continuation. Unlike some of the more aggressive, early-hooking balls, the X-Cell offers a balanced shape that doesn’t burn up too quickly, allowing for a continuous and hard-hitting backend reaction. Comparatively, the X-Cell stands out as a versatile option that fits well between more specialized balls in the Roto Grip lineup, like the TNT Infused or the Optimum Idol. It provides a stronger overall motion than the Attention Star, while being more predictable and controllable than the Magic Gem. For bowlers who appreciate the legacy of the original Cell but are looking for something that matches up well with today’s lane conditions, the X-Cell is a solid, dependable choice.

The all new Absolute form storm features Storm’s first single-density asymmetric core in the Storm line since the Lucid. According to storm “The R&D team has also reduced the amount of weight block mass near the area where the thumb hole is typically placed. The inward angled edges increase the intermediate differential prior to drilling and allows the dynamic integrity to be preserved after drilling because the thumb hole misses the weight block. The extra intermediate differential makes the Absolute respond to friction on the lane more effectively and won’t miss the spot.” I have seen a lot of good things out of this ball so far, for a ball with a lower RG this ball doesn’t bog down too fast and quit. I have seen this ball control the front part of the lanes while giving me the ability to open up the lane with ease. This would be a good benchmark pearl ball to add to your bag for league or tournament play. Go out and get yours today!

The Absolute Power is a ball that I think will be a very unique piece in the Storm line. The Absolute Power features the same Sentinel Core that was in the original Absolute, except this time it is wrapped with Storm’s R2S Deep coverstock which is a weaker solid coverstock. For a player like myself (rev dominant player), this combination is a gamechanger. This ball has allowed me to throw a stronger asymmetric ball closer to the friction than I typically have been able to in the past. Typically if I am too close to the friction with bigger asyms they lock up and go forward, however, the Absolute Power doesn't lock up; it blends through the friction and goes through the pins extremely well! I am very excited about this piece and I am looking forward to using this ball more in the future. Go to your local VIP pro shop and pick up one for yourself today!

It’s in our DNA. The all new DNA is a brand new ball with a brand new cover and core combination that we have never seen. The all new Supercoil weight block was developed to create a super low RG shape with a greater undrilled intermediate differential. This combined with the new “Exotherm” coverstock that will give you the traction that you are looking for in a strong asymmetric bowling ball. I have seen a lot of great things out of this ball so far. For me this ball is stronger and quicker off the spot than a ball like the Reality. I find myself using this ball early in blocks and/or on longer or high volume oil patterns. Make sure you go out and get yours March 17th!

Although the Fate has a slightly lower RG, this ball is going to be an excellent replacement to fans of the Wolverine. The Storm ION Max brings a smooth yet powerful motion that’s easy to control, especially on medium to heavy oil. What I really like about this ball is how it reads the mid-lane and makes a strong yet predictable move downlane. Compared to something like the Proton Physix, the ION Max isn’t quite as aggressive off the spot, but that’s what makes it versatile and reliable on tougher conditions. The ION Max offers more traction and a stronger finish, making it feel more modern in terms of overall hook potential and continuation through the pins. If you’re looking for a ball that blends power and control, this is a solid choice.

The Storm Ion Pro is a fantastic addition to my bag, offering a powerful and versatile reaction that fits perfectly between my Phaze II and IQ Tour. This ball revs up quickly in the midlane, and its hybrid TX-16 coverstock, combined with the new Element Tour AI core, gives it an angular move at the backend that I haven't seen in other balls. On medium to heavy oil, the Ion Pro outshines my Phaze II with its sharper motion, yet it still delivers the same predictability that I love about the Phaze. It’s a perfect complement to the IQ Tour as well, adding more punch when I need it without sacrificing control. This ball is a must-have for anyone looking for a reliable benchmark that can handle a variety of conditions.

The all new !Q 78/U is Storm’s newest urethane ball in response to USBC Hardness rule being put in place. This ball is everything that I would have expected out of it, it is strong, slow, and reads the front of the lanes well. I am pleasantly surprised with what I have seen so far, with the harder cover I was worried that it would never hook. However, the R&D at storm did a good job putting a stronger core in this ball to combat this issue. From what I have seen so far, I would suggest drilling this ball with a weaker VAL angle (25-35 degrees) than a “traditional urethane” layout (0-10 degrees) to help the ball continue more downlane. I have seen a few other staffers drill the 78/U with a 10 degree VAL and it looked good, however, it looked like they were forced to have extremely tight angles in order to get optimum carry. With a weaker VAL, I am able to see more downlane shape so I can keep the ball in front of me and I can aslo move in and open up my angles a bit without sacrificing pin carry. All in all, I think that storm did a great job in such a short amount of time to combat the new PBA hardness rule changes. Go out and get yours December 15th at your local SPI proshop!

The Storm !Q Tour A.I. continues the legacy of the revered !Q Tour series, offering bowlers a blend of control, versatility, and smooth motion. Featuring the iconic C3 A.I. Core and wrapped in the new R2S Hybrid Coverstock, this ball provides a slightly stronger and more responsive motion than the original !Q Tour Solid. It glides effortlessly through the front part of the lane while delivering a smooth yet continuous arc on the backend. Ideal for medium oil conditions, the !Q Tour A.I. excels when lanes start to transition, allowing players to stay in control without over-hooking or losing energy at the pins. Whether you're a rev-dominant player needing a smoother motion or a straighter player looking for a touch of extra backend, the !Q Tour A.I. delivers the signature predictability and performance that makes the !Q Tour line a staple in any arsenal.

I am so excited for the all new !q Ruby! I have been a huge fan of the !q line since the original !q Tour was released back in 2012. This !q Ruby features the same core and cover (R2S Pearl) as the !q Emerald, !q 30, and the original !q Tour Pearl (goldie). The Ruby is the same motion that you expect out the !q line, but the Ruby features a great vibrant ruby red color and Berry Splash scent that has not been on any of the !q balls to this point. This ball is going to be a must have for all fans of any of the !q bowling balls, make sure you go out and get yours March 17th!

NEW BELMO BALL! Those that know me, know how much I have like the 2 of the last 3 Belmo Releases (Trend and Trend 2) so you can imagine how excited I was to get my hands on the newest addition to the Belmo line. The Journey did not disappoint! The Journey Features the F-8 core that was previously in the Fate with the all new TX-16 Pearl cover which is the pearl version of the Phase II cover. The Journey reminds me a lot of the Trend 2, it is a little stronger overall than the Trend 2, but it has a very similar shape. Just as all Belmo balls have done, this ball digs downlane and it is able to take surface changes very well. I have seen the most success with this ball after hitting it with a light 3000 pad (as I do on most pearls). This ball will be traveling with me for the foreseeable future! You are not going to want to miss out on this new release, head to your local SPI proshop and get yours today!

The Storm Level is a versatile, mid-range ball featuring the Level core and RPM™ Solid designed to provide a smooth yet aggressive reaction with strong mid-lane traction and a powerful backend, making it ideal for almost any oil conditions. In comparison, the Pitch Black, with its Controll™ Solid Urethane is much more controlled, offering a low-hook, smooth motion for smaller angles and precise lane play, with minimal backend movement. The Storm IQ 78/U, featuring the C³ Centripetal core and Controll™ 78 Solid Urethane coverstock delivers a more predictable, controlled arc with less overall hook potential, designed for medium to light oil conditions where smoothness and consistency are prioritized.

The all new Night Road is the newest in the Hyroad line. Just like every other Hyroad, the Night Road features the same core that is in the original Hyroad, wrapped around the ReX Pearl Coverstock finished at Storm's 4K fast finish. The Nightroad combines my two favorite Hyroads: the Original and the Pearl. This ball is clean through the front part of the lane and angular on downlane. The best part of this ball is that it’s very versatile, I am able to play straight up the boards and move in a loft the gutter. This ball will not disappoint, go out and get yours today!

The all new Storm Nova features the Ignition Core wrapped in the R2X Hybrid coverstock which allows the bowler to see the highest level of flare potential possible! The Nova has already received a ton of positive publicity being thrown by Ortoro on the Players Championship shows, as seen during those shows, this ball is a versatile option that goes through the pins extremely well! You will not be disappointed by this ball, my favorite part of this ball is that it is very receptive to surface changes, it rolls well with 1000 grit and it rolls well when you add polish to the ball. After talking to a number of people who have thrown this ball they have seen the most success letting the ball laneshine/polish. I am excited to get out on the lanes and throw this ball again, go out and get yours today!

The Phase series has been one of my favorite lines on the market in recent years. The new Phase 4 is nothing different, this all-new piece features the Velocity Core, this time Storm has wrapped it in one of the best covers on the market, R2S Pearl. The Phase 4 is a great option when the Phase II starts to burn up a little early. This ball is clean through the front part of the lane, has a good midlane roll, then really pops downlane to give bowlers an ideal reaction through the pins. The Phase 4 will be a stable in my bag for the foreseeable future, make sure you go out and get yours today!

The Storm Phase AI, offers enhanced performance and versatility. Featuring a new coverstock, core design, and the innovative Power Edge polishing compound, the AI delivers a smoother roll with a more consistent backend reaction. This makes it ideal for a wide range of lane conditions, from medium to heavy oil. The Phase V is Storm’s latest addition to the Master Line. The Phase V is a mirror image of the Phase 4, however, this Phase V is covered in the storm's new “polish” Reacta Gloss. I have had the opportunity to throw this ball a few times and I can already tell that this ball will go with me wherever I bowl! The Phase V is clean and angular, you can use this ball on a number of different patterns. This ball will be a good step down from a Zen and a step up from a Wolverine or Idol Cosmos. I have a strong feeling that this will be the best Phase yet! Do not miss out on this great ball, go out and get yours today!

The Storm Physix Blackout offers a sharp, angular backend reaction due to its Equalizer™ A.I. Core and NeX™ Pearl Reactive coverstock making it ideal for medium to oily conditions, where it excels with length and a strong turn at the breakpoint. In comparison, the Storm Virtual Energy Blackout, with its Shape Lock HD Core and ReX Pearl Reactive coverstock, provides a more controlled motion with a focus on versatility and strong mid-lane read, transitioning smoothly into a strong backend, but with a slightly more continuous arc rather than the sharp angularity of the Physix Blackout. Another comparable ball would be the 900 Global Origin, featuring the Ellipse Asymmetrical AI Core and RB 93 Hybrid reactive coverstock, is designed for heavier oil and creates a strong, consistent motion with an emphasis on control and power throughout the entire lane, making it a bit more predictable and less angular than the Physix Blackout.

The Storm Road Warrior is an exciting upgrade in the Road series, offering enhanced versatility over both the original The Road and the Hy-road. Featuring the R2S DEEP Pearl coverstock, the Road Warrior provides more length and sharper backend motion than The Road, which is smoother and more consistent across a wider range of conditions. Compared to the Hy-road, the Road Warrior delivers a more aggressive finish, making it a better choice for bowlers looking for more backend punch and sharper angles, especially on dry to medium oil conditions. The Road Warrior offers more dynamic motion and greater versatility for a wider range of conditions

The new Storm Spectre features the brand new Vector Core wrapped around the R3S Pearl reactive cover. This ball was designed to be a bridge between the Trend and Hyroad bowling balls. For me and my arsenal, I think that this ball is between my trend 2 and Wolverine. This ball was also featured by Sean Rash on the Players Championship show, this ball was highlighted well in that show, it showed its versatility by being able to strike on both the medium and long oil patterns. This is a great midline ball, that will allow all players and styles to strike from multiple angles, go out and get yours today!

The all new Storm Summit is Storm’s strongest symmetric piece to date, comparable to the Roto Grip TNT. Compared to the TNT, however, I believe that the Summit will be the most user friendly for a variety of players. For me this ball feels a lot more like the Storm Axiom, a ball that was very strong, and versatile both in lane play and on a variety of patterns. For me this ball allows me to move farther left without sacrificing carry compared to the TNT which tends to bog down when I get too far left. The Summit would be a ball that I take out of the bag first on longer/high volume patterns. I tend to like symmetric cores more than asymmetric ones so this ball will fit a spot in my bag that I was missing. I am extremely excited to see what this ball can do moving forward, go out and get yours today!

The Storm Summit Ascent stands out as a powerful addition to Storm’s lineup, designed to excel in heavy oil conditions. This ball features the Centripetal HD weight block paired with the new A.I. (Amplified Inertia) outer core, delivering a strong mid-lane read and robust backend reaction. Compared to other balls in Storm’s current lineup, the Summit Ascent offers more aggressive traction due to its TX-23 Hybrid coverstock, which enhances oil absorption and provides exceptional grip on slick lanes. It's particularly ideal for bowlers who want a strong, continuous motion through the pins without sacrificing control, making it a top choice for tackling challenging lane conditions. Whether you’re facing fresh oil or transitioning patterns, the Summit Ascent’s combination of power and versatility sets it apart from other balls in Storm's range, making it a must-have for competitive bowlers.

The latest and greatest Storm and Belmonte collaboration is the best one yet! Trend 2 features the Piston Core in which Storm lightened the density of the weight block to create a higher RG with a lower differential. The Storm Typhoon and Road Warrior serve very different purposes on the lanes. The Typhoon, with its Reactor™ Pearl coverstock and Atmos™ A.I. symmetric core, is designed for clean motion through the heads with a smooth, controllable backend—perfect for light to medium oil conditions, especially late in league blocks or on dry house shots.
