The Cutting Edge Hybrid is the perfect compliment to the Cutting Edge Solid. Much to my surprise, the hybrid maintains plenty of backend motion. I chose to put the Pin in my ring finger or 55 x 4.75 x 60 for dual angle layout. The Hybrid works better with more volume or on fresh conditions. The Solid is a great transitional ball for once the Hybrid starts seeing the pattern too early. I would encourage bowlers to purchase both the Hybrid and the Solid as these two compliment each other so well. This is a great benchmark ball; you won't be disappointed.

The Cutting Edger Pearl is the perfect compliment to the Cutting Edge Solid and Hybrid.

Given the success I had with the 035 Magnitude series, I chose to put the same layouts I had into he Cutting Edge releases.

For the Pearl specifically, 60 x 4 5/8 x 65. This layout gives me length with unlimited continuation. It's perfect for when the oil pattern breaks down and I begin migrating left.

I would highly recommend augmenting your benchmark solid ball with this strong symmetrical pearl. You won't be disappointed!

The Cutting Edge Solid is the ideal choice for when the you start seeing friction on the lanes. With a lower diff (0.039), the Cutting Edge Solid effortlessly gets downlane. Its low diff core combined with the 3C Solid Reactive coverstock creates a "flip" motion at the breakpoint. This ball matches up perfectly for house shots and lower volume challenge/sport patterns. 3 games in my high game is 300 with an 814 series. I would highly recommend this ball.

Layout: 65 x 3-3/8 x 45

The Brunswick Kingpin is the strongest asymmetrical ball ever produced by Brunswick. I chose a 65 x 3-3/8 x 45 which for me is the perfect layout for playing up the boards on fresh oil and on tough sport patterns.

The cover stock (while still incredibly strong) is clean through the heads. The Kingpin defies oil; picks up strong in the mid lane and packs a punch at the pins.

The Kingpin is forgiving and continuous. A perfect choice for heavy oil and bowlers with extreme speed.

Over all, very impressed. The Dynamicore Technology is incredible. The Kingpin for me has 2-3 more boards of over all hook than the Absolute Nirvana (same layout).

The Kingpin Rule is phenomenal!

I needed a strong ball with versatility and power and the NEW Kingpin rule doesn't disappoint.
The ECA-XR coverstock found on the "White Ball" or Quantum Bias replaces the original ECA coverstock found on the Kingpin. This means more down lane motion and more hitting power. This ball is excellent for heavy and long oil patterns.

Layout: 55 x 4 1/8 x 45

The 035 Pearl is a perfect compliment to the original blue Magnitude 035. I chose the same layout for both balls: 55 x 4 5/8 x 60. Essentially, the pin is in my ring finger and CG is 2" right of center of grip on midline.
The 035 Pearl is clean through the front and to my surprise, quite continuous thru the pins. I feel very comfortable throwing this ball.
The original and pearl 035 are great for both house conditions and tougher oil patterns.

The New Brunswick Magnitude 055 is a great addition to the Performance line. While I found the 035 great for playing up the boards, the 055 excels at opening up the lanes! I chose a 3 3/8 Pin distance which creates maximum hook and a sharp breakpoint.
Plus, with this New Dynamicore technology - my pin carry is incredible. I do feel like this ball has more power at the pins.
This ball is great for both traditional "house" shots and more competitive patterns.
I chose 5 Stars because I really like the control and power this ball has. I feel more confident on the lanes; a must have in my bag going forward.

This is the perfect compliment to the Mastermind series of performance balls by Brunswick. After watching Jason Sterner's Facebook Ball reviews I decided to drill my new Brainiac with the same layout - 65 x 5.5 x 55. Absolutely, no regrets.
The Brainiac glides easily thru the heads and has a powerful punch at the pins. What I like most about the Brainiac and this layout is its versatility on medium to dry lane conditions. I can play the track or move left and still crush the pocket.
I used my new Brainiac to shoot 299 and win a competitive tournament in Wisconsin last month. Absolutely one of my best purchases. Regardless of the layout you choose - the Brainiac will NOT give you buyers remorse!

I was very excited to see Brunswick introduced the Mastermind Intellect to compliment the original Mastermind. Both my Mastermind and Intellect have a 55 x 5 x 45 layout. Due to the sheer strength of the Mastermind, I seldom find myself using it on traditional house patterns. It’s simply that strong. The Intellect however is the perfect compliment.
The Intellect retains more energy with its Royal Compound cover. It gets down lane easily and packs a punch at the pins. The Intellect goes with me to every tournament and never disappoints.
It’s perfect for bowlers with moderate to fast ball-speed. It’s also ideal for medium to longer oil patterns. I have changed the surface a few times and would recommend 2000-4000 Siaair surface.
The overall motion is controllable, smooth and strong. This is a must have asymmetrical ball in your bag.

Out of the Melee line, the Melee Jab is my absolute favorite. I chose a unique (35 x 5 x 80) layout for my Jab because I didn’t want the ball to hockey stick off the end of the pattern. It reads the lane early while providing a continuous strong motion off the breakpoint. It’s perfect for medium length sport patterns (37-41) and traditional house shots.
I won a local tournament recently using my Jab. It was contested on the 2014 USBC Open Championships pattern. I used my Melee Cross on the fresh and as the pattern began to break down I switched to my Jab and moved inside to third arrow. The Jab gave me a look my competitor’s motions couldn’t duplicate.
I recommend keeping the surface at Royal Compound and touching the cover with a 4000 Siaair pad. The Melee Jab is an excellent compliment to my arsenal.

If you loved the Magnitude 055, you will love the Method. I chose the same layout for my Method as my 055, 3 3/8 pin with CG kicked way out and a P3 balance hole. This ball is perfect for tough lane conditions when you begin to see transition in the front part of the lanes.
Don't be afraid to get creative with the surface. This ball responds well whether the cover is dull or shiny.

Introducing the New WHITE Ball! The Quantum Bias differentiates itself from other strong asymmetrical balls for several reasons:
1. Two piece design increases striking potential
2. This ball has incredible midlane motion and downline continuation
3. It's WHITE and with your purchase you get some awesome Brunswick swag
I chose my favorite asymmetrical layout for this ball - 55 x 5 x 45. It's a perfect compliment to the Classic Black Quantum. It's ideal for fresh and higher volume patterns. Get your Bias today.

The New Brunswick Tenacity is incredible. Not only is it a sharp looking ball, but the new Ultra Responsive overstock coupled with Dynamicore technology delivers a punch at the pins.
Layout: 60 x 5 5/8 x 30.
I found the Tenacity to be overall similar to the Mastermind Brainiac. The Tenacity in my opinion is 2-3 boards stronger and quicker off the spot.
The long pin coupled with my rev rate helps me open up the lane and control the backend.
I'm very excited about this release. I can already tell this will be one of my go-to balls when the oil pattern breaks down.

The New Brunswick True Motion beyond exceeded my expectations. As you can imagine, the concept of throwing Urethane initially seemed absurd. Why choose Urethane when there are so many other options that include the latest and greatest in additive technology?

To achieve the desired motion, Brunswick took the Magnitude 035 core and put it in a true Urethane cover-stock. The core and cover-stock combination don't disappoint. This ball is quickly becoming one of my favorites for lower volume/shorter patterns. The control and power this ball has in amazing.

I bowl in a 2nd shift house shot league and in lieu of moving a considerable amount left; many times lofting gutter caps, I now have a ball that I can play the track with and dominate the pins in a more consistent manner.
The new Dynamicore technology on the outer-core delivers an extra punch at the pins as well.

The motion is clean, smooth; seemingly effortless.
Great for the advanced bowler and for those who with slower ball speed.

Brunswick has done it again; the Brunswick Gold Rhino Pearl is truly amazing! After much debate on how to drill the Gold Rhino I chose to drill mine (75 x 5 x 55). The Fortify Pearl Reactive cover easily surpasses the front part of the lane. Once the Rhino encounters friction, it responds quickly and has a powerful, continuous motion into the pins.
The Gold Rhino is extremely versatile and the perfect compliment to my Vintage LT-48. The Rhino is roughly 2-3 boards stronger than the LT-48 with a quicker response to friction. I’ve experienced success on house shots, and both shorter and longer patterns.
Also, for those who are yet to bowl the USBC Open Championships this year, I would highly recommend having a Gold Rhino in your bag! This ball will be perfect for both team and minors patterns.
Thank you for considering Brunswick.

Simply put a must have in your arsenal! I recently purchased a Radical Ridiculous ASYM for my pursuit to win a prestigious USBC Eagle in Reno, NV (AKA "Nationals"). The layout 55 x 5 x 55 provided a smooth, controllable and continuous motion thru the pins. On the 39' Minors pattern I began throwing the Ridiculous Asym straight up the boards over 2nd arrow. The Ridiculous Asym read the lanes perfectly and coupled with great execution resulted in lots of strikes and a 694 series.
The motion of the Ridiculous Asym is so predicable and versatile. It's simply "Ridiculous"! You won't be disappointed with this purchase.
