The Jackal Rising is a great ball for those of us that want to stay right & not play real deep on heavier oil patterns. I drilled mine alittle on the weaker side w/2.5" pin-to-PAP & MB in the thumb. This ball gets good length & don't read the mid-lane too soon. Very smooth throughout the lane. No big "hockey stick" jerking motion w/this ball. Love the readability & predictability of this ball. One of the first balls I go to when there is heavier volume or pattern length of 41'+. It's a great addition to the Jackal line & you owe it to yourself to try this one out. Stay MOTIV-ated !!

Just drilled this latest addition to the Motiv line and I am very, very impressed. Layed it out 65 x 5.25" x 70 which put the pin below the bridge, CG alittle right of thumb, no weight hole. This pearl version gets through the heads like no other. The word "clean" doesn't do it justice yet it picks up very nicely at the end of the pattern w/excellent continuation. This ball will be great on medium to med-dry patterns and 42' and less pattern lengths. What caught my attention was how different I could get it to react w/change of hand positions. I think I've found my "go-to" ball on the THS cause I could play the shim w/o over/under. Hits like a truck, too!! If you liked the Venom Shock (and who didn't) you will love this pearl version. stay MOTIV-ated!!

The VILLAIN is the latest in the great line of bowling balls by Motiv. This ball features the Sinister core wrapped in a Coerion MFS Reactive coverstock. This ball is listed under the smooth category on the Motiv Ball Guide chart but don't let that full into thinking it's lazy . . cause it ain't!! This ball is very clean thru the heads and reads the mid lanes so very well but has a strong, continuous motion and the way it goes through the pin deck is fantastic!!
My ball speed has slowed down over the past couple of years so I drilled mine 75x6x50 to give it more length. It gets to the break point very nicely but I was amazed at how it read the end of the pattern and came back very strong, yet very predictable. I thrown it on our THS and the 44' Carmin Salvino pattern. Bowlers w/more speed than I could easily use this on the house shot. I had a great look on the Salvino pattern. Read the pattern nice and exploded the pins. Anyone going to USBC Nationals this year needs to stop at the Motiv booth and pick one of these gems up. I'm certain it will be worth it.
