At the time when I bought my Frantic, I was bowling with an old Nitro that was a urethane ball. Wow did this make a huge difference. My scores consistently improved.

Ball clearly works the best on medium oil. Medium-heavy, still works. When the lanes dry up, it just hooks way too much. When the lanes are heavy oil, it doesn't hook much at all. But if you need a medium oil ball, the Frantic gets down the lane and snaps into the pocket like a monster. Crushes the pins.

Like any other reactive cover ball, just make sure to keep it cleaned. Take care of your ball and it'll take care of you.

Needed a heavy oil ball and my coach gave me his Invasion. Love it. I don't get enough revs to throw over the middle on flooded lanes, but in normal oil, I can play a variety of lines with this and do extremely well. Sucks up a lot of oil though, so be prepared for your line to dry up somewhat quickly. I've heard people complain about the ball dying on them after using, but I'm guessing they don't clean their balls after use. I clean mine after every session and I've seen absolutely no change in the powerful hook I get from this ball.

Gave my IQ Pearl a real re-surfacing with this. Ball was reacting just like it was OOB (if not stronger). I easily have well over 100 games on the ball too so there's no denying how well it works.

I've been using a generic ball spray cleaner with my spinner and it was working well. Then I found my Reacta Shine that I had bought for my Frantic. I used it on my Tropical Breeze and Invasion and oh my God did it work amazingly. Took off SO much oil from my bowling balls and they look brand new.

I've used generic cleaners which work but they just don't do it as well as this does. Really does get all the oil in the outer layer of the cover. Shines the ball up really nicely. Got the exact reaction I wanted out of my IQ Pearl. Lots of skid, then snapped super hard. No more solid 8's or weak 10s.

Wanted to use this ball for a little bit before actually reviewing it. Houston, we have a winner.

When I bought this ball, I was looking for a hyper aggressive ball that wouldn't burn all it's energy before finding the pocket. The Storm Sync reads the midlane nicely before sharply hooking into the pocket. I was worried that it'd be too aggressive, but it reads the oil so well, this wasn't a problem. This is easily now my go-to heavy oil ball. I've even thrown it on light oil (Which I really wouldn't advise) and it still saved some energy going into the pocket, despite me playing a line so ridiculously deep.

Need a heavy oil ball? Look no further.

I know I say I love all my bowling balls, but honestly, this may be my favorite. Once I breakdown my line, I pull this ball out and that's that. I have it drilled for length as I really hurt on the drier lanes. This ball still has hook in it though if you aren't careful. I get a very predictable hook with the Tropical Breeze, but it still hits and it can hit mighty hard. Definitely would recommend this to anyone who needs a lighter oil ball or for beginners who don't want a crazy hook and want something easy to get used to.
