Review:
900 Global continues to put out quality equipment that can be enjoyed by all levels of bowlers. That is no different when you look at the Alerted Reality. This ball is a beast. If you take polish off, you get a smooth rolling pearl that can be the first ball out of your bag in some cases. If you leave the polish on you get a strong backend motion from this ball that is great for when the fronts start to burn up. Lower average bowlers will find this to be a great high-end ball that is very controllable for them. While higher average bowlers will find this a great second ball out of the bag when their Reality begins to become to much ball for the lanes. I would suggest everyone have this ball in their bag.

900 Global Burner Pearl
Cover: 1500 Polished S62™ Pearl Reactive
Core: Centroid™ (Symmetrical)
Color: Amethyst/Red

Review:
The Burner line is a great ball for bowlers of all experience levels. It can be a great ball for a bowler just getting into the sport and wanting to get the most bang for their buck. While on the flip side the Burner series can also be great for those who have been in the game for a while and are looking for that piece to finish their bag out. The Burner Pearl especially is great for those end of day conditions or a when bowling the late night league that may have followed another league. This ball is going to get down the lane before it starts to react, but it isn’t going to over react on you and will be very predictable. I plan on carry the Burner Peral for a long time.

Review:
The Burner Solid has been one of my favorite pieces released from 900 Global. Initially I was skeptical of the ball but soon realized this ball was going to be one of my favorites in my bag. The ball really reminds me of a Hustle Ink the way that it gives you that smooth reaction. This ball is a great ball to keep in the bag for all conditions. The ball has also proved it’s versatility by being able to change the surface of the ball to fit the conditions you are playing on. If you haven’t already picked up one of these balls I highly suggest you do so before you can’t.

Eternity
Coverstock: S84 Response Pearl Reactive with Reacta Gloss
Core: EPOCH Asymmetric
Review:
If you are still looking for a replacement for your Altered Reality look no further than the Eternity. This ball is as close as you will get to the Altered. This ball is very clean through the fronts but strong off the spot. When comparing this ball to others in my bag I kept coming back to the fact that this ball has a very similar ball motion to the Zen. Which having an asymmetric version of the Zen is great to have. I tend to pull this ball out of my bag early during leagues and when the lanes start to breakdown during tournaments. I did mess with the surface a little. Which I knocked the reacta gloss off I got a very smooth rolling ball, similar to when I did it to my Zen. I decided to keep the reacta gloss on the ball to help it clear the fronts and get the reaction down lane. I suggest picking up one of these balls sooner rather than later.

Review:
The original Eternity was a huge success and hit with bowlers of all levels. It was only a matter of time before a cover stock variation came out that would be equally as successful. The Eternity PI is a solid version of the very popular pearl version of the Eternity. In my opinion the Eternity PI is a much smoother version of the Reality. Allowing for more of a roll and smooth arc type motion. This ball is the first out of my bag and really allows me to dig into the lanes when the lanes are on a little oilier side of spectrum. If you are looking for a good asymmetric solid with a great color combination look no further, then the Eternity PI.

Harsh Reality
Cover Stock: 902 Solid
Finish: 2000 Grit Abralon
Core: Disturbance Asymmetric
Review:
The Harsh Reality is the latest addition to the Reality series. The Reality line has been one of 900 Global’s most versatile asymmetric lines to date. With the ability to cover a wide range of ball motions that covers most lane conditions, the Reality line has become a must-have in the bag. The Harsh Reality is the next big ball in that line. The Harsh Reality is the type of ball you pull out of the bag early when the lane conditions are that of a higher volume. This ball really likes to dig into the oil and make a strong overall motion. If you are looking for a new ball before the Open Championship look no further!

Review:
The 900 Global Harsh Reality Pearl is a standout addition to 900 Global’s high-performance line, delivering a powerful yet controlled reaction on the lanes. Building on the success of the original Harsh Reality, this Pearl version brings added length and a sharper backend, making it an excellent choice for bowlers looking to tackle medium to heavy oil conditions with confidence. One of the key strengths of the Harsh Reality Pearl is its versatility. It performs exceptionally well on medium to heavy oil patterns, providing enough traction to handle oil while still offering the sharp backend needed to drive through the pins with authority. Whether you’re a power player looking to open up the lane or a more traditional player seeking a strong finish, this ball adapts well to various styles and conditions. The 900 Global Harsh Reality Pearl is an excellent choice for bowlers who need a reliable, high-performance ball that can handle medium to heavy oil with ease.

Review:
The Honey Badger Intensity was the ball that I was instantly excited for when I first heard about it. The Honey Badger line has always been one of the most consistent lines in bowling and because of that it is one of my favorite lines of all time. This ball is very strong but not strong to the point where you cannot control the ball. This ball is very smooth rolling and packs a hard punch when it hits the pins. This ball is in the 700 series for 900 Global but performers more like the 900 series bowling balls meaning you are really getting your bang for your bucks. This is another ball that is great on both tournament conditions or a great first out of the bag for league night. The versatility of that the Honey Badger Intensity offers is not matched by many other bowling balls out there. If you are looking for a smooth rolling solid look no further, head down to your local shop and pick up yours today!

Review:
If you want a ball that can hook a lot, look no further. The Reality is a ball that will never be described as a ball that doesn’t make a big movement on the lane. This ball is a great heavy oil ball that will really cut through the oil on the high-volume patters. I wasn’t able to use this ball on a typical house shot because it was just too much ball., but it is kept in my tournament bag for when I run into those high-volume patterns. When throwing I got a nice smooth reaction that will store energy for when it hits the pins creating a nice pop when it does. When comparing this ball to other balls in my bag it is hard to tell if the Reality or the Proton Physix is the strongest ball in my bag at this time. Both of which are great option, if you’re looking for something a little different then the Proton Physix get yourself a Reality today!

Review:
Looking for a great-looking ball with a mid-lane roll that can pack a punch when it hits the pins? Look no further than Sublime from 900 Global. This ball being a hybrid offers a clean through the fronts with a strong roll in the mid-lane while providing plenty of pop on the back end. I have changed the surface on this ball several times and have enjoyed the versatility. Generally, I do not match up very well with Hybrid cover stocks, but with the combination of the new AI core technology and the new hybrid cover stock blend I find this ball as one of the first out of my bag depending on the lane conditions I am bowling on. Make sure you snag one of these beasts.

Review:
The first thing I want to say is this is my favorite looking ball in my bag. The blue really pops when it is sitting next to the rest of my equipment. When I first threw this ball I reminded me a lot of the Hy-Road Pearl, but as I threw it more and made some surface changes I quickly realized it was a completely different ball. This ball really liked to get down the lane and have a sharp backend motion. Which late in the day at tournaments this ball is great. I love that sharp backend motion that it makes. When I took the polish off it created more mid lane roll for me which can be a life saver when the lands are making a transition. This ball is a great step up over the Burner Pearl before you get to your Zen.

Review:
If you had the opportunity to throw the original Wolverine, you’re going to love the same consistency that the Dark Moss brings. With the proven versatility of the S70 Pearl cover stock combined with the new 4K Fast finish the Dark Moss offers the same shape as the original Wolverine. Personally, I left this ball at the 4K Fast finish but plan on drilling another one and trying some surface changes on it. The ball offers a great mid lane roll with plenty of backend pop. If you are looking for a good league ball I would highly recommend this one. Not only does the ball perform great on all conditions but the emerald color really stands out on the lane. Make sure you get out and pick yours up today!

Review:
Introducing the new 700 series ball from 900 Global. The Xponent is the latest and greatest benchmark ball produced by 900 Global. This ball slides in perfectly in that benchmark spot that so many people fight to find sometimes. Seeing that this ball has a very smooth reaction you will find yourself gravitating to it not just for the color combo but also the great reaction you’ll see on the lanes. I drilled mine with a very neutral layout that was pin down. I really wanted to see how versatile this ball could be for me. It did not disappoint I was able to move left and open up my angles and the ball still came back, when the lanes were a little wetter, I was still able to move right and play straight without fear of the ball over hooking. If you are looking for that next ball that will be a little stronger than your Burner or Hustle the Xponent is the perfect next step up. If you are looking for that benchmark ball that can be the first one out of your bag I would suggest taking a long look at this ball. Make sure you grab yours today!

Review:
The original Xponent is one of my favorite balls to throw when the lanes start to break down. With the new Xponent Pearl that is still true but with the added pearl cover stock you will see a cleaner look through the fronts with more backend motion. This ball is great for beginner bowlers who are looking to get into something a little more than their typical entry-level ball. This ball also will match up with your higher-level bowlers as well, giving them the option to have a ball that can be used as the lanes start to get burned up after a long tournament. The Zen was a favorite of many bowlers. The new Zen Gold Label takes a lot of what made it a fan favorite and enhanced those attributes. The Zen Gold Label has the same proven core as the original Zen but was wrapped with a new reserve pearl coverstock. This new coverstock creates a new backend motion that may tournament and league bowlers are looking for. This version of the Zen is the cleanest through the fronts before making a backend motion that has not been seen before in this line. If you were a fan of the Zen line before this release you will surely love this new addition to the line. Make sure you get out and grab yours today!

Review:
I was very excited for this ball after how much I loved the original Zen. The Zen Master has quickly become my benchmark ball that I tend to use early and often either at league or at tournaments. This ball is great at storing energy until it hits the pocket. The smooth motion reminds me of the reality but with the Zen Master I can play a little straighter early on. But don’t get me wrong this ball also allows me to move left and swing the ball when needed. I have even added a little polish to this ball and still get an excellent ball motion that stores energy until hitting the pocket. This is another great piece for anyone of any skill level to pick up. If you liked the original Zen, you are going to love what the Zen Master can do. Go out and get you one today!

The Zen line has been growing in popularity since the original Zen was released. You may have heard someone say “Zen Ball Good”, well Zen Soul Ball good too! The Zen Soul fits perfectly between the Zen and the Zen Master. The Zen Soul never leaves my bag and on is generally the first ball out of my bag on league night. This ball came with a 4000 finish on it, which gave it a very smooth reaction that give you plenty of versatility on the lanes. This ball has the versality to be used on all conditions from house shot to sport shot. This ball is going to be great in anyone’s hands. If you haven’t gotten yours yet go out and get yours today!

Review:
The Zen line has quickly climbed the ranks and has become a staple in some many people’s bags. The line expanded when they added the latest Zen U. Taking a proven core like the Meditate and alternating it to fit around a Urethane cover. This has to be one of the smoothest rolling urethane balls I have ever thrown. When my UC3 starts to get to angular for me I like to switch to my Zen U. This ball is going to be seen in a lot of different bags very soon! As soon as you can get your hands on one of these ball I would suggest adding it right away.

Review:
The new Clone comes from a long line of successful bowling balls in the HP4 line from Roto Grip. With the new and improved CLONED E.T. core the Clone sees a great mid lane read with more backend motion then you would typically see from a bowling ball with a solid cover stock. This ball was very predictable and I was able to manipulate the shape I wanted to see simply by adjusting my hand and ball speed. I see this ball as a step down when my Summit starts to burn up the lane. I found that the Clone offers me a smoother and more round shape when lanes begin to change how they are playing. The Clone is going to a great option for bowlers of all skill levels and styles. The high rev platers you will see a ball that can get through the mid lane and still have plenty of backend motion, but that will also allow you to move a little further right if you desire to do so. If you are a lower rev bowler you will get a ball that brings plenty of pop without being a ball that can’t control. Make sure you grab your Clone today!

The pearl coverstock in one this ball is great for when the lanes start to break down and my Zen is just a little to strong for the reaction I am seeing. I tend to use this ball towards the second half of tournaments and during the second shift on league night. I love seeing the way this ball gets down the lane and has a strong backend motion through the pins. If the reaction doesn’t impress you the colors going down the lane will surely catch your eye and turn some heads. Make sure you pick yours up today and support a great cause in doing so.

Review:
The Exotic Gem continues the Gem line in a strong way. With the cover/core combo on this ball it is probably the strongest and most versatile pearl available right now. When I see the Gem becoming to much ball for the lane I like to “ball down” to the Exotic Gem. That way I have the same look and reaction from a very similar core/cover combo. These two are always in my bag when traveling for tournaments and the Exotic Gem is typically one of the first balls out of my bag for league night. With it’s great versatility you are able to play just about anywhere on the lane with any style being able to handle this ball.

Review:
I was excited to hear about this ball. When I saw it would have the Defiant core in the ball, I was really excited. The Defiant line was one of my favorite lines of all time. When I threw the ball I quickly realize that the Gem was going to be an upgraded version of the original Defiant. Much stronger and forgiving if you pushed the ball out. I plan on doing a little more experimenting with surface but out of box this thing cuts through just about any amount of oil that I have run into. I would recommend this ball to just about anyone of any skill level. Do not let this ball go by the wayside make sure you pick yours up soon!

Core: Hustle
Factory Finish: Reacta Gloss

Review:
The Hustle BRY features the VTC (Versatile Traction Control) Hybrid Reactive coverstock, which combines the best aspects of both solid and pearl coverstocks. This gives the ball a balanced reaction, offering enough traction in the mid-lane to read the conditions well, while still retaining energy for a strong yet controllable backend finish. The reacta gloss polish finish allows the ball to easily clear the heads, making it an excellent choice for playing straighter lines or when the lanes are starting to break down. One of the key strengths of the Hustle BRY is its versatility. It performs well on a variety of lane conditions, making it a great go-to ball for league play or tournaments where you may encounter changing conditions. The hybrid coverstock gives it enough bite to handle medium oil, while the core keeps the reaction smooth and predictable on lighter conditions. Whether you’re a beginner looking for your first performance ball or an experienced player in need of a versatile option for transitioning lanes, the Hustle BRY provides a great balance of performance, control, and value. Its striking appearance and dependable reaction make it a valuable addition to any bowler’s arsenal, offering a level of confidence and consistency that you can rely on in any situation.

Review:
The Hustle Camo joins the line of one of the most versatile low ends balls that have ever been designed and created. This low-end solid allows me to play straighter on lane conditions that may require me to move my feet left. Adding surface to this ball has allowed me to create a motion that has not been matched since my Hustle Ink. The Hustle line has always been an eye appealing line and the new camo color keeps the tradition going. The Hustle Camo and the entire Hustle line is something that can be enjoyed by all levels of bowlers. The color options alone would make it appealing to all bowlers. Make sure you get yours soon!

The Hustle line continues to pump out quality equipment at an affordable price. What’s not to love about that?! This ball is a must have for all levels of bowlers. For those who bowl tournaments you can bring this ball out when the lanes begin to get a little more friction to them. While on the flip side this is a great starter ball for new bowlers who aren’t ready to commit to that $250 ball just yet. The Hustle line has historically been one of the best lines in bowling with the addition of the RIP and MM that history continues. Make sure you get out there and pick yours up today!

Review:
Another great addition to the Hustle line. The Hustle USA is a hybrid that fits in between the Wine and the Camo. The Hustle line continues to offer better then great value for the price point. Personally, I loved this ball out of box and used in on our second league that bowls on the burn. The Hustle USA offered great mid lane roll with a nice backend pop. I could also see this as a great ball during those long tournaments where the lanes start to burn up. This ball is going to be great for beginners who want to get the best bang for their buck. If you are a high average bowler who is looking to fill out your bag with a lane that works great when the lanes begin to dry up make sure you pick one up!

The Hustle Wine along with the Hustle Camo are more great pieces from the great Hustle Line. At the price point the Hustle Wine offers you great value if you’re looking for a versatile ball. This ball can be enjoyed by all experience levels. This ball looks beautiful going down the lane and makes a sharp turn when it gets to it’s break point. Being a higher rev bowler, I like to use this ball at the end of the day when the lane are burned up and I need something that can get down the lane without overlooking on me. I tend to pull this ball out of my bag when my Zen or Hyroad Pearl start to become to much ball for the conditions that I am bowling on. Make sure you grab yours today!

The Hyped Hybrid is another great piece from Roto Grip. The HP2 line is a line that continues to prove that you can find great value at any level within their ball line. The Hyped Hybrid has a strong backend motion that reminds me a lot of the Hyroad, just a little weaker. When I feel that my Hyroad is starting to become to much ball I switch to my Hyped Hybrid. This ball a great ball for someone who is looking for their first ball with the ability to grow with this ball. This ball would also be great for tournament bowlers who need something for when they start to see the lanes transition.

Of the two Hypes the Hype Pearl was my favorite of the two. Again, another affordable ball that is making a big motion for its price point. With its backend motion it reminds me a lot of my Hyroad Pearl. This is a ball that I like to pull out when the lanes are fried, and I need something that is going to get down the lane but provide plenty of pop on the backend. Just like the Hyped Hybrid I can see this ball being great for beginners or tournament bowlers.

First, I want to point out the color of this ball. The colors on this ball really stand out greatly on the lanes. Secondly, I want to say that once again this ball outperforms it’s price point. It has plenty of teeth to be first out of the bag when coming in for league while not being overly strong when the lanes begin to transition. This ball motion is very smooth rolling and offering a great arcing motion. This ball has already shown its versatility to me and I will continue to keep it in my bag for a long time. Review:
Speaking of some of the most iconic lines in bowling history the Idol line is right up there with the best of them. The idol Helios was a great addition to the line, and they followed it up by introducing the Idol Cosmos. The Cosmos allows you to have a similar motion as the Helios with a pearl cover stock. When the lanes start to break down I pull the Cosmos out and still have the confidence that I am going to get a similar reaction as my Helios. The 4K Fast finish doesn’t affect this ball at all, you still get that pearl reaction. Don’t forget about the appeal this ball really stands out on the lanes. The Idol Helios continues the great tradition of the Idol line. Comparing it to the original Idol this one is slightly stronger but still packs the same amount of punch as the original. This is the first ball out of my bag each time I bowl. It creates a nice smooth shape that allows me to see how the lanes are playing and if I need to make any adjustments. The thing that really stands out is the color, this ball really pops on the lane and it standout. Just another reason this ball has been a great seller for us. Roto Grip added another great ball to one of the best lines they have produced. The Idol Synergy fits perfectly in the line, sliding in right between the Idol and the Idol Peral. The Idol line has always been a line that will catch your eye with both the performance on the lane and the color choices. The Idol Synergy fits the mold perfectly, combining the color schemes of both of the pervious Idols to create a really eye popping look. The synergy also takes the best of both the Idol and Idol Peral in terms of performance, giving you a nice smooth overall reaction. If you’re using the Idol and the lanes start to dry up but aren’t ready to go to the Idol Pearl the Idol Synergy is the perfect go to. I see the Idol Synergy being in my bag for a long time.

Color: Citrine/Rhodonite/Jet
Review:
The GEM line has continued the success of one of Roto Grips greatest lines of all time in the Defiant series. The original Gem and the Exotic Gem have been great additions to the line and have continued the tradition of a strong asymmetric ball that will not be uncontrollable. The Magic Gem is another addition to that tradition. Out of box I felt this ball was just as strong as the original Gem, but the hybrid cover stock gave the ball more shape at the mid-lane rather than earlier or later on the lanes like the other iterations of the Gem did. Besides being a great overall ball, the shelf appeal has been able to makes sales on its own. This ball really pops when going down the lane and really is a unique ball when going down the lane.

The Idol line has been the definition of consistency dating back to the original pink Idol. The Optimum Idol continues that greatness. The Ikon core alone is going to draw people to this ball. The Ikon core will draw people to the latest iteration of the Idol line. What is going to keep people throwing this ball is the performance they are going to see on the lane. This ball is the perfect first ball out of your bag. With a smooth strong reaction, you are going to be able to judge the lanes very quickly and easily when throwing this ball. Besides the great reaction you are going to see with this ball it really stands out when going down the lane due to the vibrant purple that really stands out. This ball is going to be as close to the original Idol that you will find, make sure you get out and get yours today!

The first thing that caught my eye about this ball was the name. It really stands out as a unique name when it comes to a bowling ball name. Now on to the performance of the bowling ball. This has to be one of the best balls I’ve thrown recently. It does a great job of getting down the lane while maintaining energy for when it hits the pins. I’ve done a little surface experimenting with this ball and have managed to still keep the same result. I would consider this a step down from some of the other high end asymmetric bowling balls that Storm/Roto Grip/ 900 Global offer, but I still found a good place in my bag for this ball. Overall I see this ball great for both the house bowler and the tournament bowler a like. It’s versatility allows for a wide range of bowlers to enjoy this bowling ball and take their game to the next level.

The RST X-2 is probably the prettiest ball I have seen in a long time. The ball simply looks stunning sitting in your bag or going down the lane. When I initially saw the ball I thought of the Hyroad Peal, based off looks alone. After I threw the ball I knew that this was going to be a completely different ball than the Hyroad Pearl. Pearl bowling balls sometimes make me nervous because of their strong backend motions, when I throw the RST X-2 I am not nervous what so ever. This ball is clean through the fronts and has a strong continuous motion on the backend. If you are a tournament bowler that is looking for fill that void in your bag or just a casual league bowler that likes to see the ball have a strong motion you are going to enjoy this ball.

Roto Grip continues to produce RST bowling balls that have proven they can keep up with everything else in the line. This ball on its own stands out just because of the color but once you throw it a couple times you will quickly fall in love with the shape that this ball makes. After throwing it and changing the finish a little I have concluded that this ball is a great step down from my Gem. I get a similar shape with better backend motion once the carry down starts to happen. I found this ball to be great first out of my bag on the league shot during out second shift leagues. Make sure you grab yours as soon as they are available.

Review:
I never had the opportunity to the original Rubicon but after throwing the Rubicon UC2 I can see why the original Rubicon was like so much. I drilled my Rubicon UC2 pin down with the purpose of using it on our house shot for league. This ball did not disappoint in anyway. It was clean though the fronts and gave me a nice mid lane reaction while storing all of it’s energy for when it hit the pins. I see the ball not only performing well on the typical house shot by also managing to make it’s way into my tournament bags for when I need a reliable ball that I can trust will not over react on me when I need something controllable. This was another fantastic bowling ball put out by Roto Grip. If you haven’t already picked yours up I wouldn’t highly suggest you making sure you get yours sooner rather then later because you will not regret it.

When this ball was first announced I got excited. A pearl urethane? It instantly made me think of the old Natural Pearls which was one of my favorite bowling balls. But when I got the ball and drilled it then went and bowled with it, it reminded me more of the Badger Infused which was a hybrid mix of reactive resin and urethane compound. The Rubicon line has been very successful as a whole, adding a ball like this pushed that line to the next level. This ball is a little stronger than traditional urethane which makes it great for those tournament level bowlers. When the lanes start to get to much carry down, I switch to this ball which allows me to control my angles better and still stay striking, Make sure you grab one!

Review:
If you are looking for a new benchmark ball, look no further than the TNT. This ball reminds me a lot of the original Idol. I found that the TNT did read a little earlier than the original Idol, but overall I felt that ball was cleaner than the Idol. This ball really likes to move when it hits the lanes. This provides the bowler and opportunity to use this ball on many different conditions, from the typical house shot to the higher volume patterns. Even with how strong this ball was I found that it was very controllable and predictable down lane. Just like the Idol I can see this ball in my bag for a long time, make sure you pick yours up as soon as they are available.

Roto Grip TNT Infused
Cover: eTrax™ PLUS Hybrid Reactive
Weight Block: Torpex™ Core (Symmetrical)
Color: Glow Orange/Copper/Plum
Review:
Looking for a versatile benchmark ball that will be great as the first ball out of your bag on league night? Looking for a upgrade from that Tropical? Look no further than the TNT Infused. This ball plays off the original success from the TNT. The TNT infused is the type of ball that will get down the lane while offering plenty of pop on the backend. Being that the ball is a hybrid you won’t have to worry about the ball reading to early on the lane or over hooking on you. Being that the ball comes with the reacta shine you will not have to worry about getting through the fronts, it will get cleanly through the fronts while offering a good pop when it hits the pocket. When comparing this ball to other’s in my bag I am often drawn to the OG Hyroad with the TNT getting the slight edge due to bright vibrant colors. I would highly recommend this ball to anyone who is looking for a new hybrid in their bag.

Review:
The ball may be designed for the “Tour Player” but I can assure you this ball creates versatility for all levels of bowlers. If you are a fan of the Rubicon series, you are really going to enjoy throwing this ball. The same core that was first introduced in the Rubicon series is back and is now modified to create a different shape that many tournament bowlers have been looking for. When I first threw this ball I got the initial thought of this being an IQ Tour if it was symmetric. This is one of those bowling balls that will quickly become a staple in all bowlers’ bags. If you are looking for that asymmetric roll without wanting to break the bank the Tour Dynam-X is a great option. Make sure you pick yours up!

Review:
First off the color of this ball is going to catch your eye right from the beginning. If the color doesn’t get your head to turn the ball motion surly will. This ball is great for those people who love to move left and create and area on the lane that will allow them to swing the ball the lanes begin to transition. The UFO Alert offers a great step down from the original UFO making the perfect 1-2 punch. You will be hard pressed to find a more versatile Hybrid right now.

Core: Nucleus AI
Factory Finish: 2000 Grit

Review:
The Roto Grip X-Cell is a high-performance bowling ball designed to deliver powerful and consistent results on the lanes, particularly in medium to heavy oil conditions. Known for its strong mid-lane read and impressive backend motion, the X-Cell stands out as a reliable choice for bowlers looking to tackle challenging lane conditions with confidence. One of the key performance aspects of the X-Cell is its ability to handle heavy oil without sacrificing backend reaction. The ball's surface texture allows it to grip the lane early, creating a smooth yet strong arc that continues through the pins. This makes the X-Cell particularly effective on fresh oil patterns where control and traction are critical. For bowlers who enjoy making surface adjustments, the X-Cell responds well to changes in grit, allowing for fine-tuning of its reaction based on the specific conditions of the day. This adaptability makes it a valuable addition to any arsenal, especially for those who frequently encounter different lane conditions. Whether you need a ball that can handle fresh oil patterns or one that provides reliable performance throughout a long league session, the X-Cell is a versatile and dependable option. Its eye-catching design and powerful performance make it a standout in the Roto Grip lineup, offering bowlers the confidence they need to tackle any lane condition with success.

Absolute

Core: Asymmetric Core
Cover: R2S Deep Hybrid Cover with Reacta Gloss

Review:
The Absolute is the first single density asymmetric core bowling ball since the Lucid. This ball motion has been missing in the line since the discontinuation of the Lucid. With the hybrid cover stock this ball offers great mid lane roll with plenty of backend pop going through the pins. It’s really hard to compare this ball to something else in the line with it’s unique core. I find myself having this ball in my bag for a long time. This ball is the first out of my bag on league night. With its great versatility any bowler will be able to pick this ball up and enjoy throwing it. One of the things that really stuck out to me was the versatility of this ball. You can shine it up for more angle down lane or knock the polish off and get the ball to read a little earlier if need be. This is a great all around ball and is a must in everyone’s bag. If you haven’t already picked up yours, make sure you do so today!

Review:
I was a big fan of the original Absolute and when I saw the solid version was coming on I knew I would have to get it in my bag. Comparing this ball to some of my other big Asymmetric solids I found this ball to be significantly weaker than my Reality. But that is what I was looking for. This ball is very smooth rolling and allows me to stay with it longer than my reality. I find this ball similar to a benchmark ball for me. Allowing me to gage the lanes and put myself in the best position. This ball is going to be great first out of the bag during tournament play and a solid league ball for those lower rev players.

Review:
The Axiom Pearl is one of the best pearl bowling balls I have thrown in a long time. What make it special is how predictable the ball motion is, which can be exceedingly rare to see in a pearl bowling ball. But the Axiom Pearl managed to do that and play off what was liked so much about the first Axiom. The Axiom Pearl makes for a great complementary piece of the first Axiom. The thing I really like about this ball is that when the solid becomes to much ball I can easily switch to the pearl and play a remarkably similar line. In the past I have struggled to find a set of bowling balls that would allow me to do this. The Axiom Pearl and Axiom make for a great 1-2 punch in anyone’s bag. If you haven’t picked one up yet you’re missing out on a great piece.

Review:
The Dark Code continues the tradition of strong performances from the Code series. The Dark Code offers a unique blend of NeX and R2S cover stocks. The combination offers a strong midlane with an angular backend motion. Even with this strong backend motion the ball is overall very predictable and can be enjoyed bowlers of all skill levels. I put this ball in my bag as a replacement for my Code Black and I have not been disappointed by that choice one bit. If you enjoy striking you should pick up one of these balls ASAP.

Review:
Looking for a new asymmetric solid? Look no further then the new DNA. This ball comes with the new Supercoil core and the new EXO cover. This ball gets plenty of traction from the new cover. From what I saw this ball was slightly stronger than my Reality. I went with a pin down layout on this ball. It gave me a very smooth ball motion that got through the fronts but had plenty of mid lane motion. I plan on using this ball early and often on tournaments with higher volumes and at leagues where the center tends to put out higher volumes. I can see this being a good ball for lower rev bowlers who may struggle getting a bowling ball to hook. This ball is going to pick up at the mid lane and give them a nice smooth reaction to the pocket. Make sure you pick one up when these get released!

Review:
Talk about a ball that stands out. The new DNA Coil is another addition to the DNA line. This being a pearl coverstock pairs perfectly with the original DNA. The DNA Coil is great for when you start to see your DNA burning up and losing energy. Unlike many pearls, the DNA Coil isn’t just a one-trick pony. You won’t just see a big backend motion like every other pearl bowling ball out there. The thing that I really like about this ball is the versatility. This ball can play a variety of angles and lines and still see a great reaction all over the lane. I find myself using this ball a lot during the start of league or when the lanes begin to change at tournaments. With the bigger core it allows me to use this ball early in league. The coverstock is also very good when changing the finish. I have thrown the ball at box finish and have taken it to 2000 sanded and have had success adding additional versatility to this great ball. If you loved your original DNA you are going to really enjoy throwing this ball, make sure you pick yours up today!

Looking for a ball that would more bang for your buck than a tropical surge? Looking for a ball that is great when the lanes are fried at the end of a tournament, and you aren’t sure what you should be throwing? Look no further than the Electrify B-S-Y. This ball is great for that new bowler who wants their next ball, or the tournament bowler that can’t seem to find the right ball for the end of a tournament where the lanes have become a real challenge. Not to mention the color, this ball really stands out on the shelf and going down the lane. I drilled this ball pin down to create a smoother motion, I enjoyed the shape I got out of it so much I decided to drill a second one more aggressive with a pin up layout. Make sure you pick up yours today.

The Electrify Go is another great addition to the electrify line. This line has proven to be a great seller for all skill levels. The beginners will like it because it a great first ball if they want something that is going to be a little better then a Surge. While higher average and tournament bowlers are going to enjoy this ball because when the lanes start to dry out this ball will still be a great option. Review:
The Electrify Solid is another great value piece that Storm has released. This ball is way more bang for its buck. This ball is strong but smooth at the same time. With the polish still on the ball I like to use it during my late-night league, where there is less oil. With the polish I still get that smooth rolling ball without having to worry about burning up what oil is still left. When I took the polish off the ball, I found the ball to even be better for my style. Don’t get me wrong this ball can hook. This is usually my go to ball when I start to see transition or when I am playing on a lane with light oil. I see this ball being a great beginner ball or another great piece for someone who bowls a lot of tournaments.

When I first threw the Fast Pitch, it reminded me of one of my favorite bowling balls of all time in the Natural Pearl. The Fast Pitch got a little further down the lane then the Pitch Black but turned up a little sooner then the Pitch Purple. I can see this ball being in my bag for a long time and brought with me to every tournament. For a speed dominate player like myself urethane really makes me focus on my speed, which is another reason I really enjoy throwing this ball. Urethane has made a comeback in the game today and bowling balls like the Fast Pitch will continue to make that happen.

Review:
The signature series has always been a very popular series and for good reason. The line continues to put out great products time after time. The Fate is another great piece in that line. Besides being linked to one of the best bowlers in the world this line has produced hit after hit after hit when it comes to bowling balls. The Fate is a ball that loves to get down the lane and make a strong backend motion that many bowlers love to see. Even with that sharp motion this ball can be easily tweaked in terms of surface alteration to make it playable on almost any condition. Besides offering great ball reaction this ball is just stunning to look at. The Sapphire color really pops when going down the lane. Make sure you grab one of these beauties!

Review:
Another addition to a proven line that has been successful throughout Storm’s history so what could go wrong? The answer is simple, nothing. The Hyroad Max with it’s unique cover core combo allows me to play a little straighter while still having ball that can finish at the end of the lane. The fact that they put a proven cover with a prove core just makes it that much better of a ball in my opinion. I drilled my Hyroad Max to be a smooth rolling ball, I wanted to be able to play a little straighter with my angles. I am very happy with this ball and I can see it being in my bag right next to my original Hyroad for many years to come. If you haven’t gone out and gotten yourself a Hyroad Max yet you are really missing out on a unique ball that can take your game to the next level.

Review:
With all the great bowling balls that Storm/Roto Grip/900 Global have been putting out there are bound to be a couple that are going to go under the radar in terms of proper recognition. The incite has gone under the radar a little bit but don’t be discouraged by that, this ball can hang with the rest of them. If you’re looking for a good league ball for lanes that have a lot oil this may just be the ball for you. Now on the flip side if you’re looking for a ball that would play great on flatter spot conditions well the Incite is your ball as well. The thing I really like about this ball is the fact that it lets me get left as the lanes beginning to change on me but doesn’t lose anything as I do so. It also does a great job of blending the shot for me as I do start to move so I don’t see those sudden change in directions when adjusting. This ball really gets thought the pins and is a great addition to any bowlers bag. Make sure you swing by your local pro shop and pick yours up today!

There is a unique shape coming from this bowling ball that we love. The new 4k Fast finish is really looking good on these SPI bowling balls. The Atomic core is very center heavy which drives the RG down and smoothes the ball out while still creating huge continuous power through the pins. This ball also has an intriguing scent which you can currently take a guess in Storm’s ‘guess the scent contest’. Compared to the dark code, this ball is smoother mid lane with a similar entry angle. If you love smooth big asyms then this is your ball!

Review:
The IQ line is back with another addition, this time with another pearl. We all know the original IQ Tour is a staple in all bowling bags. The IQ Tour Ruby is going to be in the slot right next to before long. The Ruby follows in the footsteps by the other great pearl IQs in the Gold, Emerald and 30th edition versions. The Ruby is clean through the fronts with a very smooth motion when it hits the spot. The biggest difference with this ball? Well that would be the bright Ruby Red color. This ball really stands out on the lane and easily turns heads. Sitting on the shop wall it has quickly become a center piece that people are drawn to instantly. When I hit the lane with this ball I could easily see how it has the same motion as the other pearl IQs. This ball releases on March 17th, make you pick yours up!

Storm Journey

Color: Deep Indigo/Smoke/Turquoise
Scent: Kiwi Cantaloupe

Review:
The next iteration of bowling ball in the Belmo line is the Journey. After the Fate the Journey had some big shoes to fill and in my mind the Journey filled those shoes and then some. This ball features the same core that was in the Fate wrapped with a new cover to create a new reaction that we have not seen before. The cover being the same used on the Phaze II with an additional pearl additive added to the compound to make the backend motion that so many players desire in today’s game. The thing I really like about this ball is the versatility that it offers, being that the ball can be used right out of the bag in, or when you see the lanes begin to change you will still be able to use this ball due to that pearl additive. This ball takes really well to surface adjustments as well, I have thrown it out of box, 4k fast, 2000 sanded and even at 500 grit. The ball has performed at all of the various surfaces I talked about and was still able to give me the reaction I was looking for from the ball.

Review:
The Lightning Blackout is built around the reliable Warp AI Core, which is known for its stability and control. This symmetrical core offers a smooth and predictable motion, making it an excellent choice for bowlers who prioritize accuracy and consistency over aggressive hooking power. The core’s design allows the ball to rev up smoothly and provides a controlled arc to the pocket, making it a great option for playing straighter lines. While the Lightning Blackout excels on lighter oil patterns, its versatility may be somewhat limited in heavier oil conditions. However, for its intended purpose, it performs admirably, offering bowlers a controlled, consistent reaction that can be easily adjusted with changes in hand position or speed. The Storm Lightning Blackout is a solid choice for bowlers seeking a smooth, controlled reaction on lighter to medium oil conditions. Its Warp AI Core and REX Pearl coverstock work together to create a predictable, even motion that is easy to control, making it an ideal option for bowlers who prioritize accuracy and consistency.

Weight Block: Inverted Fe² Technology™ Core (Symmetrical)
Color: Midnight Black

Review:
The night road took two proven parts of very successful bowling balls from Storm’s lines. For the cover the Night Road took the REX cover that was found on the Infinite Physixs and the Dark Code. For the core it took the proven Fe2 from the Hi-Road. The combination of the core and cover stock created a ball that is a little earlier rolling then the original Hi-Road. I decided to give my Night Road a little more length by adding some polish to it. But overall, this is a great ball out of the box at the 4k fast finish.

Review:
My first initial though on this ball was that it was going to be to close to my reality. But after throwing is some and making some surface changes, I quickly realized this ball was going to have its own place within my bag. Unlike most dull balls this ball doesn’t care if you move left, it almost encouraged it at times. When I added some polish to the cover that is when I fell in love with this ball. This ball allowed me to play deeper on the lane and still had enough pop on the backend to kick those pesky ten pins out. If you haven’t picked up your Nova yet make sure you do so now!

Review:
First off this is one of the best-looking bowling balls I have seen in a long time. The in person view is much better then the pictures online. I feel the Parallax Effect took what the first Parallax was okay at and made it better with the pearl cover stock. This ball really likes to get down lane and make a strong motion on the back end. In my opinion this has to be the strongest pearl bowling ball that storm has ever produced. I generally pull this ball out after the lanes begin to break down a little and I see my solid bowling balls begin to over hook. The Parallax Effect allows me to move a little left and still play a similar line. If you are looking for a pearl that really gets down lane and makes a strong backend motion this is the ball for you.

Review:
The Phaze line has been one of my favorite lines dating back to the first Phaze. The motion I saw from the Phaze 5 is very similar to the Phaze 4. The big difference between the two were the colors. The Phaze 5 really stands out when going down the lanes. If you like a bowling ball that can get down the lanes and make a strong backend motion look no further. I tend to use this ball more when the lanes begin to burn up and the oil starts to transition on me. I have seen many different style bowlers enjoy throwing this ball. In my bag I like to go from my Phaze 2 starting to my Phaze 5 when I start to see the lanes change and the Phaze 2 becomes to much ball.

Wow this ball really like to hook! When I see this ball it really reminds me of the old Roto Grip ball the Defiant. A ball that like to hook a lot but it was a ball that you could control. An asymmetric ball that likes to hook while also being controllable and smooth rolling? Sign me up! This ball is great on the conditions where the lanes are just flooded with oil and you need something that can cut through the oil and create that line for you to score. This ball defensibly fits into the Physix line and will be used by all bowlers for a variety of reasons ranging from needing a ball that just creates more reaction for them or for those tournament bowlers that need a ball to get through heavy oil conditions. Now that we covered the ball’s performance I should mention that the colors and smell of this ball make it that much more appealing and really allows this ball to pop in terms of standing out.

REVENANT
Cover: R3S Coversock with Reacta Gloss Finish
Core: Symmetrical Weightblock
Fragrance: Bear Claw

Review:
When the Spectre first came out it was a must have in every bag. The Revenant is doing the exact same with the R3S cover and the Vector core. For a pearl this ball extremely smooth and controllable for me right out of the box. Getting cleanly through the fronts with a strong continuous motion was exactly what you would expect from this ball. Usually pearls are very snappy and hard for me to control, but when I threw this one I found myself not having a fear of strong snappy backend motion that would be difficult for me to control. With this ball I feel that I have more control when I miss and get better forgiveness when I miss outside. This ball is going to be a staple in bags for years to come, make sure you pick one up!

Review:
If you are looking for a strong symmetric bowling ball look no further. The Summit takes pieces from both the Phaze II and the IQ Tour to create a new ball that fits perfectly in that line. This ball overall is a very strong shape while maintaining that smooth roll that people are looking for in a symmetric ball. IF you are looking for a strong ball but are wanting to stay away from the asymmetric price point take a good look at the Sumit. If the overall reaction isn’t something that catches your eyes the color combo surely will stand out on the lanes for you.

Summit Peak
Cover Stock: TX-23 Pearl Reactive
Finish: Reacta Gloss
Core: Symmetric
Fragrance: Apple, Kiwi Pie

Review:
The Summit Peak is the latest addition to the Summit line and the new generation of AI core technology. With the pearl cover stock, the Summit Peak likes to get through the front part of the lane and create a sharp backend motion that many players are looking for in a ball. I tend to switch to this ball when equipment like my Absolute Power or Harsh Reality becomes too much and I need something that will clear the front parts of the lanes that are fried. When bowling in my league this is generally the first ball out of my bag, being that house shots can be less volume than a tournament shot. Besides the performance of this ball, the appearance of this ball is stunning and will stand out on the lanes.

Review:
The Super Nova is another high-end ball in the Nova series. The Super Nova reads the lane earlier and is a bit stronger than the original Nova. This ball is usually the first out of my bag when I get to a tournament. It allows me to judge the lanes and break down some of the extra oil that is out there for a tournament. I enjoyed this ball so much that I decided to add a second one to my arsenal, but I played with the surface on this one to fit our house shot. The Nova line has proved to be one of the most versatile ball lines in recent history. Make sure to grab yours today!

Review:
The Trend 2 continues the trend of great bowling balls in the signature line from Storm. The Trend 2 is very clean through the fronts and makes a strong backend motion down lane. I decided to knock the polish off this ball, and it was great at blending the shot for me when I felt I didn’t have a shot out there. The Trend 2 is a ball that can be enjoyed by anyone of any skills level. Don’t forget this ball looks absolutely stunning going down the lane. If you haven’t already picked up yours, today make sure you get out there and get one!
