The Zen U urethane comes out of the box sanded at 1000 Abralon, allowing it to start up strongly in the midlane. The all new s35 Urethane+ Cover provides a quicker response time compared to traditional urethane. This core and cover combination will excel on short patterns and over/under or “cliffed” house conditions.
COMMENTS
I use this on light to Med oil conditions. I am not usually not a urethane coverstock fan because I seem to get a lot of over under reactions with them. But not with this ball. I get a very consistent. More continuous than my UC3 and hooks a little less.

I drilled the edge pearl with a shorter pin to my PAP. I shortened the pin to my PAP because I have trouble with pearl covers giving me a big over under. I love the reaction I get with this ball. If you like the Melee Jab you will love this bal

BALL MOTION
The steel Fanatic BTU features the Low Differential I-Block core matched with our new low friction BTU coverstock formulation to produce “urethane” ball motion with improved consistency and enhanced hitting power on high friction lane conditions.

COMMENTS

Better Than Urethane! I drilled this ball strong looking for length knowing that normal urethane ball read the midlane and then die on the back end. I was beyond surprised when I threw this ball. It got threw the heads and did not read the midlane but I could play the exact same line as my old urethane but with a much better angle and much more hitting power. I am able to move with the shot and still get recovery when I need it This ball is a must have!

I drilled the intrigue, 70 x 6 x 50. I needed a few balls for when the lanes break down and the heads burn up. This ball is smooth with a continuous backend reaction. This ball compliments my Melee Jab perfectly. The way I have these balls drilled the Intrigue starts up a little sooner and not quite as sharp off the spot as the Jab. This is a very versatile ball. Your local Proshop owner can drill this ball to fit most gaps in your arsenal.

BALL MOTION
With its 2000 grit Siaair Micro Pad Finish, the Melee Hook revs strong in the mid-lane and retains plenty of axis rotation for the backend to produce a wider area of forgiveness to the pocket. The Melee Hook will provide better traction on a variety of lane patterns with its chemically designed surface texture.

This symmetrical ball has a strong mid-lane motion and has a very predictable motion. This is one of the first balls out of my bag now.

BALL MOTION
The new ECS Hybrid coverstock is Brunswick’s latest advancement in performance enhancing technology. ECS expands the soft segments of the polymer chain producing improved friction and wider sweet spot resulting in fewer adjustments. ECS technology generates a faster refresh rate and a longer performance life for the coverstock. Paired with the Nirvana Ultra Low RG core, the Ultimate Nirvana provides effortless length through the heads with extraordinary backend continuation on medium oily to oily lane conditions..

COMMENTS

This hybrid asymmetrical ball is very clean through the heads with a continuous strong motion on the backend. This ball has a very strong backend motion and is very predictable. I really like this ball and it has quickly become the first ball out of my bag.

This is the second ball in the grudge series. The hybrid cover lets the ball get through the heads easier than the solid cover and save energy for the back end.My drilling 30 x 4.5 x 70 which translates to the pin above the ring finger and the Mass Bias just right of the Thumb hole. This is my favorite drilling. It rolls good for me on house shots and also sport shots. This is a fantastic overall bowling ball.

Vandal Smash is the solid cover stock version of the original Vandal. If you liked the original Vandal this ball is a must have. If you have not had a Vandal yet you are missing the boat. This is a great all around ball. I can use it on house shots as well as sport shots. It has a smooth predicable motion and hits like a truck. This has become the first ball out of my bag.

The Crux Prime has increased entry angle, and a greater margin for error with its dynamic asymmetrical design and vertical cavity technology. The benefits of SPEC Solid Reactive can be truly appreciated on heavier conditions, especially when they begin to transition. When this coverstock encounters midlane friction, it digs in harder, unlike anything Storm has produced to date
. COMMENTS
This ball is really strong in the midlane and goes through the pins better and more consistent than any ball I have drilled yet. This ball seems to match up to straight players as well as high rev players. This balls works well on House shots as well as Sport shots. If you need a stronger ball in your arsenal the Crux Prime is a must!

The Fever Pitch is not as early as the Pitch Black™, but corners better than the Pitch Blue™ ever dreamt. We found the gap we needed to fill and we filled it. Hard. COMMENTS
I use this ball primarily as my spare ball I replaced my mix with the Fever Pitch so I would have a urethane ball I could use when the lanes dry and I need a better Motion than I could get with my Pitch Black. This ball make a good downlane motion and works great when the lanes dry up.

The Gravity Evolve is another great asymmetrical piece with the Spec cover. Amateurs and professionals around the world have been clamoring for a heavy-rolling, fast-migrating core . The Shape-Lock HD Core. This shape can power through just about anything. “HD” is short for high density, which lowers the RG and raises the differential of the weight block. And with SPEC at the helm, expect heavy roll

Radial Accelerating Disk™ (RAD) technology was unveiled in the original X-Factor™ series as the first to feature dual density disc technology. More recently, this design premise emerged in the RAD4™ Core powering the Code™ series. With the new Intense, our R&D Team is taking it a step further with the new RAD-E™ Core. The “E” stands for ENERGY as the elongated ellipses near the pin increase the separation of mass as well as the potential energy of this dynamic beast.

COMMENTS

I drilled the Intense pin up with a 3 inch pin buffer. This ball really goes through the head with a strong backend motion. If you are looking for a ball to go down the lane and make a sharp backend motion this is your ball.

BALL MOTION

The intense Fire with R3S Hybrid has one of the strongest back end motions for a hybrid cover that I have ever seen. This ball really comes out of the pattern.

COMMENTS

I bought this ball to fit in on the lower end of my arsenal. To the contrary the intense fire is clean through the heads with a very strong predictable motion. I pull it out when my Code X starts burning up and losing energy and I never lose a beat. I really like this ball.

In addition to a new urethane material, the C3 Core is featured in this unique concept and has been a staple in benchmark reactions for over 10 years. This low RG core helps the ball to read where it needs to which maintains a true urethane-like reaction.
COMMENTS
I drilled this ball pin under my ring finger. This is the best urethane I have thrown yet. I think it will fill a lot of spots in bowlers bags. Its definitely a staple in my arsenal.

The emerald IQ gets through the fronts very easy as with most pearl covers. The one thing for me that is different than other pearl covers is that it reads a little sooner and is more predictable off the spot. The pin down drilling has some to do with that motion also.
COMMENTS
I drilled this ball up pin down. It rolls great and hooks more than most pearl balls on the market. This ball is a keeper. When my Pro Motion starts rolling too early I can pick this ball up and not miss a beat.

I bought this ball to fit in on the lower end of my arsenal. To straighten my angles. I drilled it pin down so it still picks up the roll when I get a little firmer with my speed. This ball works really great on an over under house pattern and lets me stay right longer.

BALL MOTION
The Son!Q is the progeny of one of the most dominant shapes in the Storm lineage: the Centripetal™ Core. Since its inception, the evolution of the design can be traced across the Centripetal™ Core, C3™ Centripetal Control Core, and now the Centripetal HD (high density) Core.

COMMENTS
I drilled the Drive pin up with a 2 inch pin buffer. This ball is really smooth though the fronts with a great controllable backend motion. For me the Son!q has about the same amount of hook as my Intense just not as angular on the back end. Overall this is a great first ball out of the bag for many conditions.
