I wrote a comment earlier about the 3.5, and I have change my opinion about this ball. First, make sure you have the right people drilling your equipment. My ball was not drilled for me! I had the balance hole moved closer to my grip line. It was on my VAL. The ball did not hook. Since I moved the balance hole this ball is a monster. This is my bench mark ball. It is the first ball I pull out of the bag. I will purchase another 3.5 in December.

This balls is over-rated and over-priced! My league average is 220. My PAP is irrevelant! Bought this ball because our team got a deal with the pro-shop. This ball with the box finish goes too long. It does not handle heavy oil vry well. It does not play the outside, responds to friction too fast. Does not play the inside, have trouble coming up in the oil. I have not found a happy median for this ball.

I recently purchased a CS 3.5. One of my teammates had purchased one. I could not believe how hard this ball hits. After one of my teammates went to the local pro-shop and bargained with the manager about getting a discount for four bowlers. The manager gave us a discount on the ball! My first time throwing it was on 3/17/2010. I had to learn how to throw the ball first. My first complete game was 216. I was expecting a lot of hook, but that was not the case. Whatever you put into this ball, that is what you will get out of it. The more hand, the more reaction. I can stay behind the ball and it hit hard or I can go around the ball and it still ht hard. I'm not a Brunswick bowler, typical I use Storm, Roto-Grip, and Ebonite. However, when you see a ball that pops like this one.....it convert you!

This is great ball for the price. Threw this ball in league, it must be one of the versatile in Brunswick line. I played every part of the lane with this ball and it always striked! It feels like cheating when throwing this ball.

My Alpha-Max cracked, and my 3.5 cracked. These are great balls, but there is an issue with durability. Since my Alpha-Max was under warranty I decided to go with a symmetric core. The pro-shop operator suggested the Lethal Revolver. This ball labors down the lane and gradually rolls into the pocket like a low-end bowling ball. However, when the ball hit the pocket, it does not strike like any other ball. The ball hits like a heavy bullet compared to faster bullet, with more force. When this ball strike the all the pins experience blow-back.

Brunswick makes great bowling balls! You see Storm dominating the tournaments on television, but do not sleep on Brunswick.
I am a 229 league bowler, I bought some Soul yesterday 6/11/2015. My layout was 4X3 with pin above ring finger. To be an entry level ball, it is a beast! It has the same shape as my Ringer but stronger. You cannot go wrong by purchasing this ball. Brunswicks balls are no joke! Put a little Soul in your life!

I can write a lot of superlatives about the Columbia 300 Action Attack bowling ball. However, no ball can make a bowler better without proper mechanics and technique. So if you are looking to buy a bowling ball because your average has not change with your old ball, look at the person throwing the ball first. Enough about mechanics and technique. The Action Attack is a great ball. The one thing I like about it, is the smoothness from oil to dry. It does not overact but it hits like a Pimp that is short a couple of C notes! It can mentally scar your opponent. So buy the Action Attack, don't get Pimped!

This ball is similar to the V2 sanded but stronger. It has more mid lane than most high performance balls on the market. If your house is flooded this should be the first ball out of your bag.

This ball is overrated! It does not live up to the hype! I bought this ball on March 2, 2011. I bowled a couple of games the first day, I did not see the big hook. I bowled with it in two leagues, one league had fresh backends. The other league had carry-down from open bowling. This ball revs-up like a champ but hits the pin like a chump! I like Storm products, but recently I bought the Invasion and the Nano, and both sre duds. However, the Anarchy is bad ball. I use it on Friday-nite which has carry-down. I started with the Nano for six frames, in which three were open. The Nano skidded down the lanes. Finally, I put it back into the bag a pulled out my shotgun, (Anarchy) finish the game with a 203, after having 84 in the sixth frame. Second game with Anarchy was 258, and third games was 269. I finish the night with a 730 series. My next step is to take the Nano down to 1500 grit, If that does not work, I will put it on the pro-shop shelf and sell it to another sucker. I had bought three solid balls recently, the Nano, Invasion, and the Alpha Max, each comes with 4000 grit coverstock which hurts the ball more than help them.

I bought the Invasion, Virtual Gravity Nano, and Mission 250. I still have the Mission 250. I gave the other two away. I got the Mission 250 on a Sunday, had it drilled on a Thursday, and shot 300 in league on a Friday. This ball has been overshadow by the Nano, but this ball beat the Nano by far. You cannot go wrong with the purchase of this ball. Ebonite continue to lead the market in great bowling balls, from the Pirahnna, Tomahawk, V2, Gamebreaker, NV, and the Mission series.

The One is a great ball period! There are two things about the One each bowler must take into consideration before buying it. 1. The ball has a very low RG, which means that this ball start-up fast or it expands energy quickly. Low RG balls can lead to soft hits. The pin to pap should not be under 4.25 inches; this depends on your lane condition (typical house shot). 2. The GB10 coverstock needs to be cleaned after each use, not next week before league start but within thirty minutes after league. I have a Gamebreaker and The One, both performs like new because I keep my balls clean!

The Hammer Black Widow bowling ball is the best ball Hammer ever produced. However, you must know the strength and weakness of the Black Widow. The BW can/can not handle fresh house conditions. You cannot play the middle part of the lane with the BW. But you can play the outside. The BW factory finished is 4000 grit produces too much skid in oil. If you play the outside the ball will simply destroy the pins. Now you can alter the surface to get more bite in oil, but you would not use a Volkswagen Bug to haul a camper.

I just recently got a Cell because I had three Storm Shifts and all of them cracked on me. The pro-shop drilled a Cell in place of the Storm bowling balls. All I can say about this ball is ......WOW. If you buy one ball this year, the Cell should be the one. Roto Grip really did their homework on this ball. Get the Cell and be prepared to raise H***!

The Roto-Grip Saturn Solid bowling ball is a great ball and a great value. The reason I bought this ball because of its high RG. When I drilled my Saturn I was in for a rude awakening. This ball hooks and hits like the high performance bowling balls. I have my drilled with the pin to right of the ring finger and the CG kicked out. This ball does its work in the back-end. It comes off the dry like Ben Johnson on steroids.

The Wrecker is probably the best ball in the market. The price of the Wrecker and performance makes it an elite bowling ball. You can spend more money on a bowling ball, but if you undecided about your next purchase, you cannot go wrong with the Wrecker.

This is the baddest ball in Storm line-up! This ball hits so hard that I see sparks from the pins. I have over 30 bowling balls from old to new, classics like V2 sanded, Gamebreaker, The Cell, Nano, and many more. Anytime that I am confused the Anarchy comes out and show me the light! I planned to buy two more Anarchys in put the up!

There are three pearl balls on the market that are a must if you own a pearl ball. They are Anarchy, Infinite Theory, and the Cell Pearl. The key to all of these balls is getting the right drilling.
The Anarchy is a beast, this has to be one of the strongest balls on the market. The move it makes in the backend is one of the strongest to date. I own an Invasion which is drilled similar to the Anarchy, I must say that the Anarchy out performs the Invasion hands down. The R3X coverstock and core is an unbeatable combination. Storm hit the nail on the head with the Anarchy.

I bought the Invasion and it was a dud! I was hesitant about the Anarchy. This ball is the complete opposite of the Invasion, it is a beast. The Anarchy is similar to the Cell Pearl but smoother. I started with the Cell Pearl in league today, shot 300! The second game the Cell started to leave 10 pins. Shot 237 second game, pulled out the Anarchy on the third game, shot 255. This ball is a must for any bowler. I believe that the Cell and Cell Pearl are the two best balls of the decade. I believe that the Anarchy ranks with the Cells!

This is the third ball from Storm this year. I had two Shifts prior to the Attitude. Both Shifts cracked on me but the pro shop replaced them. The Attitude has a hairline crack around the fingers. The quality of these bowling balls are poor but the performance is high. As long as the pro shop continues to replace them I will continue to use Storm products.

This is one of the worst balls to ever come out of Storm factory. With all the hype this ball does not live up to it. Maybe if Storm would have increase the RG, it would have been a great ball. However, this ball does not handle oil, and burns up too fast in the dry. Talk to one of Storm's reps, he said the cover was too pouros! It has to tendency to soak up a lot of oil. I could not get my Invasion to perform on no lane condition. Be aware of Storm balls with low RG and 4000 coverstock.

Storm is the leading the bowling industry with its innovated balls and coverstocks. The IQ tour is no exception. This ball is one of the most versatile balls on the market. You cannot go wrong with the pineapple core. This ball revs hard with plenty of drive in the backend. Depending on the Lane condition you can play down and end or move inside and swing it. The IQ series and the Marvel series are probably the best assymetrical balls on the market.

This is probably the Best ball Storm ever produced. This ball is on back order because of the demand. I drilled my Fusion strong, I stacked it. The Flip I get into the pocket is insane. Lay the Fusion down a watch it work.As long as you move with the lane transition, you can use the Fusion all night.

I own the IQ tour solid, the Fusion, the Marvel S, and just recently the IQ Nano. What I like about the IQ Nano is the violent movement at the backend. The Marvel S has the same cover-stock but the backend is a hook and set. With the IQ Nano I have continuation through the pin-deck. My layout is a 4X3 with pin above the ring finger. I believe the Nano cover-stock is better suited to Storm symmetrical core, due to strength of the cover-stock and core. The IQ series might be the best of all time. The only reason I do not have the Marvel Pearl and IQ Pearl is that I got the Optimus. Bottom-line you cannot go wrong with IQ Nano, the core and cover is a win win!

I was missing a strong symmetrical pearl in my arsenal. What I like about the Optimus was the move it made in the backend. To say it was strongwould be an understatement. I own all of the IQs and the Marvel solids. This was a new core, I decided to gamble. I was not dissappointed. My layout was a 5 by 6, with the pin between and above my fingers. My average is 225. If you get the right drilling which is key with any bowling ball this will be the first ball out of the bag on league night.

I got this ball when it first came out, did not throw it in my leagues. It was too much in the dry and not strong enough in the wet. This summer when bowlers are looking at low-end balls to get through the heads in this hot Texas weather I pulled out the Reign. It is an ideal ball when the lanes are hot like in Texas. The heads go quickly when the temparture is 100 degrees outside. I watched bowlers struggle with the Reign of Fire, The Mutant, Invasion, Virtual Gravity, and Brunwick 3.5. This balls are good in the winter time when the lanes are cold but do not carry when the heads are gone. Get a Reign and you want be dissappointed.

This Ball! This Ball! This Ball! Storm has re-invented the wheel, made it stronger, smoother, and badder! I was bowling in league last Thursday, I could not find my rear-end. Started out with the Virtual Gravity, it was all over the place. Switch to the Cell Pearl, could not find a happy median. I finish my set with a 603 series. All the time I had the ROF in the bag, did not use it. Went to throw a couple of game after league. The first ball I pulled out of the bag was the ROF. First game I shot 300, I called myself a dumba**! Did not shoot anything under 250. This morning went to the bowling alley, first game 300! Tried to use the Reign the next game, it was too much backend in the dry, and would not come up in the wet.

I bought the Storm Shift bowling ball about a month ago (March 23, 2007). This is the best ball on the market. On medium lanes this ball does one thing.....strikes! The pins dance across the lanes, they come out of the pin decks. There have been several occasion when I had to call for deadwood because of the power of this ball. You want to see weak 6 pins with this ball. My drilling, pin 4 inches from the PAP (Positive Axis Point) with the pin under the ring finger with the mass bias kicked out to 75 degrees. On league night this is the only ball you will need. Just make adjustments on the lanes as the night progress and you will strike all night. If you buy one ball this year, the Shift should be your ball! If you happen to bowl someone with a Shift and you don't have one, take your beat down like a man!

What can I say about the VG? It is a ball that has set the standard in the bowling industry. I got my VG for father's day. I bowled with last week in league, shot a 738 series. That was a good series but it was my first time bowling with the VG. This week in league I shot a 810 series, it should have been higher but I popped-up in the second frame of the first game which was a split. my lay-out is

This ball is a dud with the 4000 grit coverstock. But it is a beast with 1000 grit coverstock. I bowled with this ball Friday night with 4000 grit coverstock, had three washout. The ball had problems with carry-down. Brought the ball back to the pro-shop and took it to 1000 grit. It turned from a Saturday nite special into a bazooka with a nuclear warhead. It went down the lane and literally flipped left on the pins.
