About the Bowler
I'm about a 215 average bowler with somewhere around a 400 rev rate, and I can honestly say that this ball was an absolute masterpiece out of the box. I shot a 737 on my first series, and never dipped below 600 for the next 5 or so league nights.
That said, the cover is extremely soft, and it WILL saturate with oil very, very quickly. Be prepared to resurface/hook in very often, clean it, and switch off of it if you find that it's not giving you the same action it normally would if it were unsaturated. The easiest way to tell is when it gets that shiny gloss that you often saw with burnt-up VGs.
When it works, the possibilities are endless - you can generate amazing angle even without having a huge rev rate playing a variety of different lines. However, when it's saturated, it's weaker than my weak-drilled pearlized piece, so just be aware of what you're getting into with it.
