The Alpha Jackal is a beast of a ball and an instant favorite in my bag! The technology features a very low RG & loads of differential which enables you to maximize both revs and track flare. The cover stock, the Coercion HV3 Solid Reactive, creates all kinds of traction in the oil. Now put this cover around the Predator V2 asymmetric weight block and you will get more hook and devastating continuation we all love. Any serious bowler will want this gem!

Black Venom - Digs in and gives you control!
The Black Venom is going to be a must for your bag.  This ball features the asymmetric Gear APG core which was designed when the "No Weight Hole" rule was put into place to give bowlers more drilling options with balls in the medium/light oil line. But what make this ball is the Leverage MFS Solid cover; which is a modifications of the Jackal Ambush's cover, to help you handle lighter oil condition but still get that smooth reaction where so many balls in this category hockey stick when finding friction. This ball is a must for league and tournament play!

The next MCP cover is here and its on the new Carbide Tank. The Frixion M4 Solid MCP is the strongest microcell cover Motiv has release and really helps this ball shine. The Gear core is perfect for this cover too as its a low RG & moderate diff helping control the flare and energy release on the back part of the lane creating awesome pin carry. This medium heavy oil ball is smooth and continuous on the back giving you control and power at the pins. You will want this in both your league and tournament bag!

Strong Angular Pearl - Yes Please!

Motiv's new Crimson Jackal is here and it's a heavy oil angular ball you must have. The ball features the Predator V2 Asymmetric Core found in the Jackal Ghost but with a new cover stock called Propulsion HV+ Pearl Reactive! This combo really helps this ball create hook on the back and allows me to play much steeper angles. This is also a pearl I feel can be used sooner in your tournament since it handles heavier oil and won't just blow through your breakpoint. If you're looking for a heavy oil angular piece, the Crimson Jackal is the ball you have been waiting for!

Motiv's latest release, the Evoke, introduces the Overload asymmetrical weight block, offering a customizable differential of up to 25% through drilling. This innovation allows for precise tuning of the ball's shape to suit individual preferences and lane conditions. The Leverage MXC solid cover stock, enhanced with Motiv's DuraMax technology, provides additional versatility by resisting lane shine and facilitating further customization. With Motiv's focus on R&D, the Evoke promises to be a valuable addition to any bowler's arsenal.

The Fatal Venom features the Gear core wrapped in the Infusion Pearl cover giving this ball a low RG and low differential producing amazing shape for this part of the ball chart! You will have no trouble getting this ball down the lane when the lanes are dry put still have plenty of hit to strike! Instant favorite in my bag!

The Forge is the strongest symmetrical ball ever created by Motiv. This ball really wants to dig into the oil quickly producing a smooth motion which give you lots of control and outstanding continuation on the back part of the lane. The Forge features a new low RG weight block called "Detonator" which helps this ball start up but a high differential allows for more flare. Wrap this ball with the Coercion High Friction Solid cover and you get a perfect step down from the Trident Abyss. Love this ball on the tricky flat sport patterns and those big over/under house shots keep you out of trouble. Pick up your's today!

The Golden Jackal features the latest Predator V3 asymmetric weight block with the Hexion SE (strength enhanced) pearl cover stock. This very low RG ball and cover allows it to truly dig into the heavy oil but still produce awesome down lane motion which won't quit. Rest assured, you will not have to sacrifice traction in the oil where other pearls seem to slip past the break point. The Golden Jackal revs up easy and is a great fit for your heavy oil tournaments or the over/under you can get in league. This release is a must for your game!

The Hyper Venom took me by surprise with its exceptional performance, especially in the oil! Let's break it down: starting with the Gear core, borrowed from the legendary Venom Shock, it's a fast-spinning lower flare core that's perfect for tackling medium-light oil conditions. This core placement on the ball chart ensures optimal performance and versatility on the lanes.
Now, let's talk about the game-changing coverstock: the Propulsion MXR Pearl Reactive. Drawing inspiration from the success of the Supra Rally and Nuclear Forge, this coverstock allows the Hyper Venom to read the mid-lane while delivering a powerful angular motion on the backend. It's a game-changer!
If you're looking to step up your bowling game and dominate the lanes, the Motiv Hyper Venom is the ball for you. Don't miss out on the opportunity to experience its exceptional performance firsthand!

The Iron Forge is a medium/heavy oil ball that features the low RG high differential symmetrical weight blocks called the Detonator. This ball features the brand new Leverage Solid Reactive cover which helps it dig in the oil and give even more control on the back with the Predator V2 asymmetric core found in the Jackal Line. The result is a ball that can handle the oil and give you the hitting power of the Jackal, a must for all tournament bowlers!

The Jackal Legacy Continues!!

Motiv’s newest release the Jackal Legacy is a very strong Asymmetric solid which will really dig into the oil. What makes this ball so impressive to me however is even though it digs in quick, it’s surprising how much strong down lane motion and continuation you still get! As oil volumes get higher and higher at tournaments the Coercion MXC cover will be your go to combat the conditions while the proven low RG Predator V2 core will give you the control and power you will need! This ball instantly went into my tournament bag!

Motiv’s new release the Jackal Rising is a strong asymmetrical ball designed for heavy oil. This ball is engineered to slow down quickly to help you combat heavy oil conditions and big over/under shots with a smooth backend reaction. The Coercion HV2 coverstock with the Predator V3 core really digs into the oil with impressive power and continuation through the pins. Mythic Jackal - A very angular & strong heavy oil ball!

The Mythic Jackal is heavy oil ball which is very angular. This ball features Predator V2 core, a low RG high differential asymmetrical weight blocks found in the Ghost. What makes this ball so angular is the Infusion HV 2:1 Hybrid Reactive cover. This means there is 67% pearl and 33% solid. The solid gives this ball plenty of traction in the oil but the pearl give you incredible angle down lane. You will have no trouble moving left and watching this ball come back to strike with lots of power! This is a can't miss ball that you have to have in your bag, pick one up today!

Nuclear Forge - These new pearl covers are game changers!
This ball is a fast spinning low RG/high differential ball featuring the Propulsion HVP Pearl cover designed to handle the oil. This combo helps me get a pearl cover into my hands much quicker in high volume and longer patterns. For me, the fronts can get beat up pretty quickly on longer pattern but when I 'ball down" I don't quite have enough ball to shape properly and carry out the corners. The Nuclear Forge has no problem down lane for me and will be going into my bag ASAP! These new pearls from Motiv are game changers and you will want to get them in your hands as soon as possible!

The Pride is a medium oil ball that features a brand new asymmetrical weight blocks called the Dominion. The core is surrounded by the new Coercion UCS (Ultimate Continuation Solid) reactive cover which makes this an excellent benchmark ball for your bag. This is the first asymmetric ball offered on the medium line and gives you many more drilling options to get the shape you need to combat the conditions in both your tournaments and leagues. I immediately drilled two Prides one with a wide VAL angle and one with a short VAL angle allowing the Pride to stay in my hands longer as the lanes change. You will want one of these in your bag today!

Pride Dynasty - An Asym ball for medium oil!

Check out Motiv's new Pride Dynasty!  This is a smooth medium oil ball which features the Dominion Asymmetric core. This core is a moderate primary RG differential and low intermediate which allows the Pride Dynasty to dominate on medium oil volumes and higher friction surfaces vs most asym on the market. Add the new Leverage MFS Solid Reactive coverstock technology and you have a bigger stronger Pride which will be your new benchmark ball in your bag! Early in blocks and when the lanes are tricky, this combo will dig in a take away some of that over/under you get with other balls with lots of continuation. This new Pride is a must for my bag!

What sets the Liberty apart is its asymmetrical core, perfect for "higher-friction" conditions. This core design not only enhances your drilling options but also helps achieve the specific reaction and shapes you’re aiming for. The hybrid coverstock of the Liberty leans towards the cleaner side, allowing for easy length and a sharp, angular backend reaction. Whether you're looking to up your game in tournaments or just want a reliable ball in your bag, the Pride Liberty might just be your new favorite!

Combination of Motiv's Two Best!  Primal Shock

The new Primal Shock combines two of Motiv's most popular balls, the Primal Rage and Venom Shock.  They took the Primal Rage's core, Impulse V2, and wrapped it with the Venom Shock's cover Turmoil MFS Solid Reactive! It has been said to me many times I wish I could get just a little more out of Venom, well this is it! This new ball has a higher RG and Diff, so you get more length and flare causing more shape down lane with the awesome cover of the Shock.  This ball also looks great and strikes a ton.  You will want one in your league & tournament bag!

True Urethane - Purple Tank

The Purple Tank is a light oil ball which is true urethane! This ball features the high RG, low flaring Flux weight block which helps the Purple tank have maximum control both in the mid-lane and on the back part of the lane. When facing the high viscosity oil and flat sport patterns in our modern game, Motiv now has an awesome option to help all bowlers get the control they need to attack the pattern and strike in this environment.

Check out the link below for my ball review for Motiv's new Raptor Fury! This heavy oil ball features the strongest symmetrical core in the Motiv line the Affliction™ V2 Symmetric wrapped in the new Leverage™ XFS Solid Reactive. This combo gives you a ball which will dig in the heavy oil and give you great control and continuation down lane! This ball is great early in block and when the backs are tricky but don't be fooled, I feel I can shape this ball a little more keeping it in my hands longer. Motiv's new Raptor Rush a standout for heavy oil angular which will bring a unique edge to your game. What sets the Rush apart is this is the strongest symmetrical core in the Motiv line perfect for "low-friction" conditions.

Steve Haas - Motiv Staffer

The Pearl coverstock of the Rush really makes this ball shine as it is the culmination of everything Motiv has learned since becoming a company. For a heavy oil angular ball, you need a pearl which will "slow down correctly" so you can create the angular motion needed to corner on the back and snap out those 10 pines on longer patterns. You will absolutely love this ball in your bag!

Your next skid flip ball is here because Motiv has released the new Ripcord Launch! This medium oil angular ball features the Propulsion MVP Pearl which provides plenty of length and a fast response to the friction on the back. The core is the Torx V2 which is a moderate RG & differential giving us power shape and angular motion. Another bonus is I feel I can manipulate my release to make this ball really fast or come up the back and get a little smoother reaction. Motiv’s newest release is the Rogue Blade and you are going to want to get on of these as soon as possible. The Rogue Blade features the Sigma core, one of the most trusted and proven cores in the Motiv line. The sigma core gives the Rogue Blade a low RG with a moderate differential helping you to control the mid lane. The cover however is just off the charts excellent with the all new Hexion SE (Strength Enhanced) shell. This new cover builds upon the original angular Hexion with a much stronger footprint in the oil and still provides a faster response and angular motion down lane. This medium oil ball is a perfect fit for your league shots, sports conditions and and over/under you may experience. It’s important to note this ball take very well to surface changes too. When polished this piece will be an incredibly fast response and when dull it is controllable and strong. Pick one of these up at your local ProShop today!

Motiv is Bringing Back the Legendary Raptor Line!!!!
Motiv is bringing back the legendary Raptor line with the new Sky Raptor. This is a heavy oil ball which is very angular and one you will love if you like to see a lot of down lane motion. Starting with the symmetrical Affliction V2 core, this is a large core with lots of differential giving you the flare and shape down lane. The new Dynamic Infusion Pearl cover helps this ball create all that angle allowing me to move aggressively in the oil and know it will shape back to the pocket! You will want this in your bag!

The Subzero is a medium/heavy oil smooth helping you attack long patterns, heavier oil or simply those tricky low friction environments where control is needed most.

The very strong solid coverstock (Leverage MXC) on the Subzero has the Duramax additive to help prevent line shine and keep this ball digging in to give you maximum control in the mids and back part of the lane. I love this ball early in blocks and when the lanes are tricky because I can keep my angles in front of me and watch this ball continue through the pocket!

The Supra Enzo is a light-medium oil ball that has one of my all time favorite symmetrical weight blocks the High Impulse. This core will spin up more slowly helping it get down the lane when they are dryer but the new Infusion Hybrid Reactive cover really helps this ball create an awesome shape on the back part of the lane. Don't be fooled, you can add surface also to the Enzo to handle more oil with ease. This is a great step down ball too later in tournaments when the fronts start to go but you need high performance reaction down lane to carry all 10 pins! This cover takes very well to different kinds of drillings so the versatility you get with the Supra Enzo will make it an instant favorite and must have in your bag!

This features the Quadfire V2 core (High RG 2.57 and moderate Diff .040 on all weights) will help this ball get down the lane but with some more Diff in this ball you will get enough traction and flare to create lots of shape. This is all helped by the Propulsion XRT Pearl cover to create a clean start and hockey stick shape on the back! Go to your local Pro Shop Professional and pick one of these up today!

Supra Rally - Very Angular ball made for Friction!

The Supra Rally is a very angular light oil ball. This ball has a new Quadfire V2 core which is a high RG but features a lower differential then previous Supra's. This means the Supra Rally will retain more energy & explosive on the back part of the lane. This ball will thrive in higher friction environments and will be your new go to light oil ball!

The Tank Yellowjacket Tour Edition is here and this new MCP (microcell polymer) ball will give you that urethane type reaction without being urethane! The Cover is the key featuring the Frixion Mark 5 Solid with MOTIV’s new Duramax additive which gives this ball its texture & will resist lane shine to hold the the finish profile longer. This gives you a strong urethane-like shape but please note this cover is very tunable & very adaptive to finish adjustments, so it will handle higher or lower friction environments with simple cover changes. The core is the the very High RG and Low differential Flux allowing bowlers the ability to change the surface to really determine the balls shape down the lane. The tank line is know for providing bowlers with exceptional control and the Tank Yellowjacket is a perfect fit for this shape in your bag!!!

The Thrill is designed for those lighter oil conditions we all face featuring a new weight block and cover stock! The new Flux weight block gives you a higher RG to help get the ball down the lane coupled with a very low differential minimizing track flare and giving you control of your ball motion on the backends. Add in the new Agility XP reactive cover stock to help compliment the core technology this combo is truly making this ball ideal for dry lanes! The Thrill is available at an incredibly attractive price point too and would be great fit to round off your tournament arsenal!

The Top Thrill is a light oil ball that does what a light oil ball should do, get down the lane when there is lots of friction. But most light oil balls then react too violently when they find friction and really create too much of that hockey stick shape. This ball features the Halogen V2 Symmetric core with the Turmoil XP Pearl Reactive helping this ball dig in a little more and create that awesome shape through the pins we all want in a high performance ball! Make sure you you get one of these must have balls in your bag!

Trident Odyssey - The Turbulent core is back!

The Trident Odyssey is a medium/heavy oil ball that features the low RG high differential asymmetrical weight blocks called Turbulent which was found in the original Trident. The core is surrounded by the new Coercion FYS (Full Yield Solid) which creates vast amounts of hook for the bowler without reading so early that it loses down lane continuation. This ball is great combating sport patterns and those "cliffed" house shots that have lots of oil in the middle and lots of friction to the outside. This is a can't miss ball that you have to have in your bag, pick one up today!

The Venom line just got some new power with the Venom Recoil.   Featuring the new Gear APG (Asymmetric Performance Gain) weight block this Light-Meduim ball is very impressive.  With the upcoming balance-hole rule change, MOTIV created the asymmetric weight block to give ball drillers more layout versatility when no balance-hole is used.  Wrapping this ball with the Coercion MFS (medium friction solid) reactive cover stock, you have a ball which has gives you awesome performance at a great value.  I see this ball getting lots of use in both league and tournament play!  You will want to pick up one or two of these for your bag!

Motiv’s release of the Venom Shock Pearl give you a ball with versatility and lots of performance. This light to medium oil ball has the Top Gear dual density weight block which give you more angular backend motion and the Hexion medium friction pearl cover providing easy length and a fast backend response. I have found adding some surface to this cover helps it pick up a little faster in the fronts on fresh patterns while the cover helps get this ball down the lane later in the shift. You will want this ball in your bag!

Motiv’s new release of the Villain is so exciting because they are bringing back the Sinister core with their modern Coercion MFS cover stock. Looking at the Sinister core, this asymmetric gives you a high RG with loads of differential. As a result you can expect to see impressive power and great continuation. The cover, Coercion (medium friction solid), offers great versatility allowing you to easily adjust down to a smoother motion or back up for more of a benchmark look. You get so much performance with this ball at such a great value being in the medium-heavy range on the ball chart. The Villain became and immediate favorite in my tournament arsenal!

Motiv’s newest release is here and the Villain Scorn will certainly impress as the pearl asymmetric ball you have been looking for! The Sinister core provides you with a higher RG helping the angular Hexion SE coverstock get down the lane to really turn the corner towards the pins. The Villain Scorn is engineered for medium-heavy oil and fits the big over/under house shots or when the fronts start to dry out but you still need power and a fast response on the back of the lanes. This is just one of those instant favorite in my bag, you will want to pick one of these up at your local Pro Shop today!
