I tried this ball out today as an alternate to my Venom. I really liked the way the ball performed. I was very predicatible and had a nice smooth arc. I missed to the right a few times and the ball still came back, though my venom wouldn't. Nice ball.

I've had this ball now for 8 months. When I first got the ball I was not impressed with it as when I had used it in testing. The difference for me was hand position. I was using a more hand under the ball position and the reaction wasn't that great, because the lack of or spotty oil possiby. I love this ball now. I changed my hand position to a brief case, shaking hands, or 9'0 clock thumb position. I play more of a direct outside line, the ball skids and then comes in like a monster with this hand position. Most centers i bowl in have heavy oil inside second arrow, so if I tug the ball it still pushes down the lane and destroys the pocket. If I miss outside it comes back. The Mission has a very consistent reaction. It is my benchmark ball. I have used it on drier wood lanes, and well oiled synthetics. It is incredible the change of hand position has made for me with this ball. I also have not noticed any drop off in performance with this ball. I have over 200 games on it. I do wipe it after each frame and clean it after each session.

I bought this ball for my wife because her ball was hooking early in dry conditions and not coming in strong enough in oily conditions. This ball was advertised to go long and come in hard, and it does! My wife bowled her tournament high of a 209 with it. Just like any other ball the drilling and where you are playing on the lanes are going to make a difference. This ball is a great ball.

Just picked this ball up and I love it. I really liked the widow stuff and this really is a widow. I was able to pick it up for a great deal at my pro-shop (sorry). The coverstock and core the two main factors in ball reaction (besides the bowlers) and this is an awesome one. This ball needs oil, and I had play really deep on a ths on wood lanes. I also played with it on a longer shot on synthetic lanes and had no trouble. Love this new converstock, always loved the widow. Not sure why the price is what it is, but like I said I got mine drilled with inserts for not much more than you see this ball advertised for here and elsewhere.

This ball is awesome. I bought one for my father in law for his birthday he loves it. He is a 200+ average bowler and very knowledgeable about the sport. He loved it so much he bought one for his wife. This ball comes back from to the pocket hard and destroys the pocket. This ball does like oil. I used it with a 9 o'clock hand position on drier conditions and it still tore up the pocket. Borrowed for a game during leagued and bowled a 218 first time, no misses, just took me to long to figure out the right lane. Love this ball.
