Bowler specs

Rev Rate: 370 RPM

My Asymmetrical I used my favorite pin up drilling and left it at box finish. This ball is very strong and needs a lot of oil. It was fine at the start of league, however, you really need to stay ahead of the transition as the ball really responds off of the friction. I will be using this for the high volume patterns.

Ball: Alias - Symmetrical
Layout: -30 x 5 x 45 – Pin above bridge
Surface: Box – 500/2000 Abralon

The Symmetrical I went pin up and left it at box finish to do a comparison to the Asymmetrical drilling. I was able to play the same part of the lane, however the ball had a different shape to it. This layout revved much quicker off my hand and pushed down the lane much further.

I preferred the Asymmetrical over the Symmetrical as I carried much better with it. I highly recommend this ball due to its versatility.

I drilled the Cyborg pin up with the mass bias in the thumb area to hopefully get some additional continuation on the backend that I haven’t been seeing on my regular pin up drillings. This is working out just fine as I am leaving fewer flat 10’s. I also changed the surface to 2000 to do a comparison to the Heat X-Treme. The Cyborg is a couple of boards weaker than the Heat X-Treme so it will be as easy switch between balls. Another good one from Track.

I drilled the Cyborg Pearl pin up and left it at box finish. My plan is to use this ball as skid flip piece when the lanes start to hook and to compliment my Trilogy only a little weaker. I was wrong! The CP seems even more angular than the Trilogy! Now I have two options when I have to get deep on the lane!

I drilled the HEAT for when the lanes break down and I have to start moving left. This ball does not disappoint! The pearlized cover gives me the extra length I am looking for when the lanes dry up and the carry is exceptional. Another great piece from Track!

I drilled the Heat X-Treme pin up to match my Cyborg to do a comparison with the same 500/2000 surface. The Heat X-Treme is a couple of boards stronger that the Cyborg and the pin carry is outstanding. I am really starting to prefer symmetrical balls over Asymmetrical, they seem to store their energy better. Check out the Heat X-Treme, you won’t be disappointed.

I drilled the Amethyst pin up and left it at box finish and plan on using this ball as a skid flip piece when the lanes start to transition. This ball clears the heads very nicely and stores a lot of energy for the pins. This will be a great one on the lighter patterns when you have to move deep on the lane. I drilled this one to be the first ball out of the bag on fresh conditions. I really like the motion I am seeing as the ball gets thru the heads very nicely and makes a strong turn at the breakpoint, however, I am not having much luck with carry. It almost seems to be hitting to hard. I will be making a surface change to see if I can improve my carry.

I drilled the Paradox pin up and left it at box finish and plan on using this ball as the first ball out of the bag on the fresh. When there is enough oil the Paradox is outstanding. No matter how deep I get the carry is great even with the dull surface. This is a special piece and a must for every ones bag.

Drilled the Paradox Black with my benchmark drilling and will use as the first ball out of the bag on fresh conditions. This is my favorite ball in the bag right now, it reads the mids very well and the carry is incredible. I’ve shot 300 and 800 with this one in the first month of using it. I highly recommend getting one of these for your arsenal.

I drilled the Paradox Trilogy pin up and left it at box finish and plan on using this ball as skid flip piece when the lanes start to transition. I’ve only got 5 games on it so far but my reaction and carry are outstanding. I’ve been looking for an angular ball to replace my 920A and I think I found it. I drilled the Triton Elite pin up and left it at box finish and plan on using this ball for tournaments when I need that extra flip on the back end. I drilled the Ultra Heat with my benchmark drilling and will use it when the lanes break down and I have to start moving left. This ball gets down lane and it flips very nicely off the spot. This ball is a great compliment to the Paradox Black when the lanes dry up but needs friction to be affective for my medium rev rate.
