With the success of the Reality and Volatility Torque, you can't go wrong by combining the two. Featuring the core form the Reality and the coverstock from the VT, the Altered Reality is the most midlaney pearl asym in the line. Not only does this ball control the mids as well as any ball, but you don't sacrifice any motion on the backend. This thing hooks everywhere!

Eternity is the reintroduction of the S84 Response Pearl coverstock. This cover became a fan favorite on the Volatility Torque and the Altered Reality. While i never threw the VT, i had 2 Altered Reality's and the Eternity is definitely similar in shape. Eternity is a big cleaner and rounder overall, which makes it match up for me a whole lot better. Where the Altered Reality felt like it wouldn't cover a lot of boards or continue through the pins, the Eternity is smoother off the spot overall and keeps going through the deck in a way that makes this ball much more useable for me. Overall, Eternity is a big, smooth, strong pearl ball that still is more angular than the Absolute and cleaner than the Infinite Physix.

The Eternity Pi features an all new solid cover that provides a step up from the original pearl Eternity. While the original Eternity was a pearl, it was smooth, heavy rolling and controllable. The Pi provides that same familiar shape, but in a package that is better suited for heavy oil and fresh lanes. The Pi keeps its axis surprisingly well, providing a nice compliment to the other solid asym in our line that is slightly cleaner and more continuous than the Gem or Reality. If you are slightly rev dominant or looking for a solid asym that is a bit more responsive than similar pieces in our line, the Pi is the ball for you!

The Harsh Reality takes the core shape we all loved from the original Reality series and combines it with A.I. core technology. When you combine this more dynamic core with the 902 Solid cover, the result is the strongest Reality I've thrown. This cover creates more traction than the original, and even backends more than the Reality Check due to the A.I. core. This ball is gonna be my first choice on heavy oil conditions, and also a great option to blend out the "cliff" on those over/under house conditions. This strong solid asym is early, blendy, and surprisingly tippy. This ball outhooks all the soild asyms I've had in recent years. The DNA, Gem, and Eternity Pi are all overall weaker and less dynamic downlane than the Harsh Reality.

Finally, a pearl reality back in the lineup! This one features all the latest and greatest from Storm Bowling Products; the A.I. core technology increases the core dynamics and really makes this ball unique. The Reality core has always been smooth and continuous, and paired with cleaner covers it has always been a house shot killer and a great 2-ball on flatter conditions. This ball is no exception. The earlier and longer hook phase characteristic of the A.I. core paired with 902 Reserve Blend Pearl makes for a clean, smooth, tippy pearl asym that compliments the rest of the product line. If you love pearl asyms for league or need a new one in your tournament arsenal, or are just a Reality fan, this one is definitely worth checking out!

This ball is STRONG!! The new Origin features a new cover and core combo that hooks a bunch. This piece slots above the S2, VEBO, and while its longer than the Ion Max, it can cover more boards. For a shiny hybrid, this ball hooks downlane enough that I can slow hook this ball and chase the shot in. The versatility of this ball really surprised me as well. I can use it to blend out the cliff on fresh, and as they open up it keeps going as I move in. The other ball I use to blend is the Ion Max, but it can get a little early/slow as the lanes start to break down. The cleaner cover on the Origin keeps it in play much longer. This clean, strong, continuous asym is at the top of my bag and really splits the difference between tippy and blendy. The usability here is surprisingly good, and this is gonna be a ball that matches up to a lot of different styles on a lot of different conditions/surfaces. This is hook-in-a-box in the BEST way!

The solid Origin is HERE!! The Origin is strong, clean and continuous, and the Origin EX builds on that success! The EX is clean for a big solid, and the hook shape is very rounded and continuous. While the cover doesn't create a ton on traction in the front or mids, it is very consistent. Compared to the RST-HyperDrive, the EX is cleaner and rounder. The HyperDrive cover is stronger, and it stands up more downlane than the EX. This ball is in Reality territory, which means it's extremely useable for an asym solid. If you liked the Origin, you'll love the EX!

The Reality Check features the new S84 Beta Hybrid coverstock. This cover is supposed to be similar in strength to S84 Solid found on the Reality, but with more energy retention and continuation. My experience is just that: I can go more left to right with this ball and get it to continue, where the Reality demands straighter angles to be in play. The Reality Check is more useable on house shots for me, where the Reality shined on flatter/slicker conditions. This ball also compliments my Infinite Physix, as the Reality Check is earlier and rounder overall.

When you think of symmetrical pearl balls, there is one that stands above the rest: 900 Global Zen. The Sublime provides a hybrid compliment to one of the most popular balls on the market. The Zen is unique in that it provides an unparallelled combination of a large, early core and a clean, responsive cover. The Zen provides control and downlane motion in a way that make it an immediate staple in anyone's bag. The Sublime builds on that by featuring SPI's new A.I. core technology and a brand new 802 cover formula. The result is a ball that revs up in the midlane while still storing plenty of energy and hooking plenty downlane. With this long and strong cover formula and uniquely early and continuous core, the Sublime is sure to be a house shot killer that rivals even the Zen.

The Sublime Focus is a strong, consistent symmetrical ball that provides a control option that is earlier than the likes of the Phaze 2 or Optimum Idol. As a result, this ball slots in the top of the symmetrical solids in the SPI lineup. As an earlier, slower step up from the rest of the line, this ball is great for calming down sparking backends on flatter patterns, blending out over/under, and generally controlling the lane front to back whether the conditions are flat, cliffed, or anywhere in between. The Sublime Focus is a great option for speed dominant players for whom the Phaze 2 and Optimum Idol are too clean/long. If you need a new big control symmetrical ball, this is the one!

This ball is the reintroduction of the S70 Pearl coverstock made popular by the Honey Badger. The higher RG helps this ball float down the lane and make a bigger move on the backend. The Wolverine is the ultimate benchmark pearl ball, it fits right in the middle of any bag.

The Wolverine Dark Moss is the reintroduction of the Wolverine, and the continuation of the Lacerate core! This mid-RG, high diff symmetric pearl is very familiar. It rolls incredibly familiar to the original Wolverine. However, the Dark Moss is slightly earlier and rounder overall due to the box surface change. This ball is great when you have some friction to throw to, the RG allows the ball to store energy and make the corner consistently, while the mid-strength cover makes it useable on a variety of lane surfaces and volumes. This ball is a great piece for the middle of anyone's bag!

The Xponent is a new and improved version of a shape originally provided by the Ordnance C4. The low RG, medium DIFF solid symmetrical fills a very important gap between the IQ Tour Solid and the higher diff solid symmetricals like the Phaze 2 or the TNT. This ball is perfect for starting a little more direct on a more blended pattern, or for blending out the wet/dry of many house shots. The Xponent is a huge addition to our current product line. This ball fills a very important gap and provides a squarely medium symmetrical solid that compliments several pieces in our current product line. The Xponent has a spot in everyone's bag!

The Xponent Pearl is a shape we've been missing in the SPI lineup! The medium differential and low RG provides a lower flaring option that still revs up in the midlane. Paired with the cleaner pearl coverstock, this ball is perfect for those hooking house shots. This ball for me picks up in a similar spot as the IQ Ruby, but the Xponent Pearl flares more so overall it can handle a little more oil. If you like the IQ series but feel like you need a little more core, or if you feel like you need a step down from balls like the Summit Peak or TNT Infused, the Xponent Pearl is the perfect ball that fills a gap really well.

Zen 25 is the new and improved pearl Zen we have been waiting for. Featuring the same great Meditate core enhanced with A.I. tech, this Zen revs up more strongly and continues better than the original. The Zen 25 also features a new pearl coverstock that can handle more oil than the original. All of this combines for a fresh take on what SPI is known for: strong pearl balls. Compared to the Phaze A.I., the Zen 25 picks up in the midlane more, and has a more gradual and continuous hook shape. For me, the Zen 25 has been a great 2 ball in league behind a Summit Ascent or Phaze 2. I can get as deep as I want with the Zen 25 and it never misses the spot and always splits the 8-9! You do NOT want to miss this one.

The Zen Gold Label is the newest big pearl symmetrical from 900 Global. This ball goes SIDEWAYS for me on our local house shot. The original Zen was even, controllable, and cleaner than our solid symmetricals (though not by much). The Gold Label is clean, but when it does hit the spot, it comes off of it harder than any other symmetrical pearl currently in the SPI family. 900 Global has taken the big, strong core from the Zen and wrapped it in a clean and angular cover akin to R2S Pearl on steroids. The Zen Gold Label is the classic big pearl symmetrical that Storm is known for. Just when you thought there no room for improvement upon the Zen, the Gold Label shows just how much further 900 Global can go. Don't miss this one!

The Zen Soul is the perfect blend of the original Zen, one of the best selling balls on the market still, and the Zen Master, one of the most controllable symmetric balls ever. The Zen soul is strong, smooth, and continuous. It hooks earlier than the Zen but continues off the end of the pattern better than the Zen Master. The S84 Hybrid coverstock can handle plenty of oil. If you're looking for a great step down from your big asym balls or a compliment to your Zen or Phaze 2, this ball is sure to fit in your bag!

Holy cow! This ball is unlike any urethane ball on the market. The Zen U makes that classic urethane shape will being able to handle considerably more volume than balls like the Pitch Black and Fast Pitch. As someone who isn't a big fan of traditional urethane, this ball is extremely promising, as i can play up the lane like with the Pitch Black, but if I need to rotate the ball more and shape it, the Zen U can handle the extra angle/volume in the middle part of the lane. If you don't think urethane is for you, the Zen U is the exception!

Attention Star is the return of eTrax+ Pearl, which was featured most recently on the RST-X2. This ball for me feels like a bigger version of the Rubicon UC2. Uniquely, it revs up and continues like a lot of the other A.I. core balls. What I loved about the UC2 is the way it picked up the in midlane but didn't overrespond off the spot. The Attention Star builds on that and provides a similar type of motion but in a stronger package overall. If you miss the length and predictability provided by the Rubicon UC2 and RST-X2, the Attention Star is the 2.0 version of that type of shape, with all the latest and greatest in core tech that Storm has to offer!

This ball improves upon a unique shape offered by the original Attention Star. For me, the Attention Star was earlier and rounder than the VEBO, but not as straight/slow as the Harsh Reality Pearl. This was a great little gap to fill because I have several shapes in my pearl asym progression, which is a pretty high-mileage area of my equipment. The S2 for me slots under the Ion Max for me. The Attention Star S2 maintains the smoother shape of the original but comes with a little more surface and stronger cover overall. As a result, the S2 lets me play the hold on the cliff, and if my Ion Max is too smooth, the S2 is typically my second look that stands up a little bit harder without overall being too far down the lane to use on fresh. Once the S2 starts to hit flat, I can then get into shinier/pearl balls like the VEBO, Harsh Reality Pearl or Origin. The S2 fills a great gap, and I've already bowled 300/780 off the press with it! You don't want to miss this one.

The Clone is the upgrade we've been needing! The UFO Alert provided a unique shape that was clean and quick but overall pretty rounded. The Clone took heavy inspiration from that. However, it isn't just a reboot. The Clone features a brand new coverstock formula, this time in a solid version. The result is a noticeable step up in cover strength from the UFO Alert, and the modified density of the core provides a clean and stable shape. While the Clone is distinctly mid-RG in that is doesn't wind up and want to hook as soon as it sees friction, the cover and core work well to create traction and store energy. This is the strongest angular asym we've had in the line in awhile, and a surprising improvement on a shape that was a fan favorite.

The Duo is the newest strong symmetrical pearl ball in the lineup. The combination of the low RG and strong coverstock make this ball very smooth for a pearl ball. I find that the shape is very even and readable. This ball reminds me somewhat of a Zen, due to its heavy rolling nature and slower change of direction. I think overall the Zen is still stronger. While i can often start with the Zen game 1, i have found Duo to be better as a 2-ball or transition piece. If you are speed dominant or have higher tilt/rotation, this is a great pearl option because it revs up quickly and creates a smoother transition from skid to hook to roll, but still creates some length through the middle part of the lane.

The Exotic Gem is the newest high end pearl asym ball from Roto Grip. While the cover is exceptionally clean, this ball is on the slower side when it comes to friction response. This provides a really nice balance of length and control. This ball was very useable on the fresh with a slightly slower speed, and as the lanes opened up it was able to come back from larger angles and still continue through the pins. This ball is going to be great for rev-dominant players who typically have a tough time throwing asym pearl balls, and for those who have more rotation or tilt that find other pearl balls to be too sharp.

The Gem features a mid-Int Diff asym core with the coverstock formula featured on the original Idol. What more could you want? The result is an asym ball that is both strong and forgiving. Misses inside dont lead to maximum penalty. The Gem is unique for a solid asym not only in the Roto Grip line, but on the market as a whole.

The Hustle B-R-Y is the newest polished hybrid offering in the HP1 line. This entry level piece is great for beginner bowlers and players looking for a weak option with a more angular shape. Combined with the VTC hybrid cover, the Hustle core still makes a big move on the back part of the lane. This new take on a classic provides a stellar ball reaction at a great price point! The newest pearl Hustle is an eye catcher! Not only is the color new, but so is the ball motion. The M+M is the most responsive pearl Hustle I have ever thrown. Compared to the Hustle Wine, the M+M is a touch cleaner and stands up harder off of the spot downlane. One thing that hasn't changed is the value that the Hustle line brings to every players bag. This one brings a skid/snap shape at a great price point.

The Hustle RIP is the reincarnation of the Hustle INK. If you liked that medium RG, ultra stable symmetrical shape with a cleaner solid cover, then the RIP is for you. The Hustle RIP strikes the perfect balance of controlling the breakpoint and storing energy so that you don't sacrifice any carry. The RIP is perfect for medium to dry lane conditions, especially when there is a cliff to blend out. The Hustle RIP is essentially a baby IQ Tour Solid, and for the price point, you can't find better performance.

This ball brings that classic Hustle performance to your bag on house shots and lighter volume/shorter patterns. As a rev dominant player, I can play up the friction with this ball and as they open up, i can go across the pattern and still get the ball to continue off the spot. The Hustle is characterized by an earlier, smoother shape akin to the IQ Tour, but far weaker overall. This baby-IQ Tour reaction is great on conditions where the IQ Solid is too early or too slow. Go to your local pro shop and pick yours up!

The Hustle X-Ray is the newest sanded solid offering in the HP1 line. This entry level piece is great for beginner bowlers and players looking for a weak option with a smoother shape. Combined with the VTC solid cover, the Hustle core still makes a big move on the back part of the lane. This new take on a classic provides a stellar ball reaction at a great price point! When you want value, you want a Hustle.

The Hyped Solid is the newest addition to the Hyped line. This line has brought a great entry level piece as well as a smooth option for late in the block. Although the hook potential is similar to that of the Hy-Road line, the Hyped series balls are smoother off the end of the pattern. This ball is sure to be a great piece if you are looking for your first bowling ball, a transition piece for league or tournaments, or if you just want a great bang for your buck!

The Idol Helios is the new and improved Idol. With the same Ikon Core and an updated, stronger coverstock, this Idol can handle more oil and overall is much stronger than the magenta Idol. This is the earliest symmetric ball in my bag. When my big asym pieces get to be too much but there's still a lot of oil on the lane, the Helios is the ball i'm going to reach for because i can count on it to pick up and i know i'm going to see that reliable Idol shape.

The Magic Gem builds on the predictability and strength of the original Gem. Micro Trax Hybrid features nanoparticles in the cover that create more traction than standard reactive covers. This really makes the Magic Gem stand out because it picks up in the oil just like the original Gem, but the pearl additive in the hybrid coverstock helps the Magic Gem continue through the pins better. The Magic Gem is better at going left to right and creating more angle than the Gem. This ball is the strong control ball that everyone should have in their bag, especially if you have trouble getting the 10 pin out with other big asym balls.

The Optimum Idol is the modern version of an absolute classic! This ball takes the beloved Ikon core and combines it with A.I. technology. This dual density application makes the core more dynamic. With decreased RG and increased Differential, This ball revs up quicker and continues more than any Idol so far. The Idol's have always been a pinch slow for me, and I've found myself throwing other balls in the same spot that are a little more continuous. The Optimum is the first Idol i can consistently get to go through the deck the right way, whether i/I'm throwing it hard and straight or throwing it slow and across it. This is such a unique shape compared not only to previous Idol's, but to anything else in the product line. You do NOT want to miss this one!

I find myself throwing the Optimum Idol often on the house shot for league or as a 2-ball in tournaments when i need to get out of the big asyms, so I'm really excited to have this pearl compliment in the bag! The Optimum Idol Pearl features the same cover formula as the Optimum Idol in a pearl version, which was most recently used on the Exotic Gem. This cover is unique because it's very clean and sharp, but the Micro additive in the formula allows it to dig through the oil and still create traction through the puddle. All of this means that we get a TON of ball for the price, and its one that hooks a LOT on the back part of the lane. This ball for me feels like a good 2-ball if i am able to start in an IQ Tour or the Optimum Idol, or a good 3-ball if I have to start in the bigger stuff like a Harsh Reality or an X-Cell. We've been missing a high diff symmetrical pearl option since the Gold Label was discontinued, and this one fills that spot and then some! Overall this cover is just as clean but feels a bit stronger/more capable of handling oil, and the addition of A.I. core tech creates an even more useable and dynamic shape. This one is a must have for just about anybody!

To me, the RockStar had big shoes to fill. It comes in on the heels of the Optimum Idol being discontinued, and I had high expectations. So far, this ball has really stood up to those expectations. While it's not an exact replacement for the Optimum Idol, it fills a similar spot in the bag and provides a great compliment to the Phaze 2 and the Summit Ascent. The Phaze 2 is stronger on the back part of the lane, while the RockStar is earlier and more rounded. Both are stronger than the Summit Ascent, thought the RockStar has a very similar, almost tumbly shape like the Ascent. These 3 really cover all your bases, and if you're missing that early, predictable symmetrical pice or you've worn out your Optimum Idol and need a comparable replacement, this is the ball you're looking for!

Roto Grip has FINALLY brought back this core! The Hyperdrive features the same great weight block from the original RST series, now featuring A.I. outer core technology. All of this, combined with the cover from the original Gem and Optimum Idol, creates a strong control asym ball with a little later hook window and a little more punch on the back part of the lane. Compared to similar balls in our current line like the Ion Max or Harsh Reality, The RST stores a little more energy and jerks a little more off of the breakpoint, where the other 2 tend to bleed off more and be more even front-to-back. The RST-Hyperdrive provides a unique take on a ball type that I get a lot of use out of on medium house shots with higher ratios and even on some shorter patterns with decreased axis rotation. If you like your current asym solid but wish it was a little punchier, this is the ball for you!

The RST-X3 continues a very successful line of balls from Roto Grip. Just like the RST-X1, this ball features a hybrid coverstock. Unlike the X1, however, this hybrid formula is 2 parts pearl, one part solid. This makes the RST-X3 fit in between the X1 and X2 for me. It's clean through the front and mids just like the X2, due to the pearl-heavy cover and the higher RG, but its smooth off the spot like the X1 because of the solid component in the cover. This unique clean and smooth combo gives me a hard-hitting ball with a big ball that doesn't over-read friction or dive off the back of the pattern. Go to your local pro shop and pick one up, it fits a really unique spot in the bag!

The UC3 is urethane reimagined. With a mild asymmetric core and the pearlized Tour-ethane cover, this ball creates a shape unlike anything else on the market. Stronger and more shape than traditional urethane, but still able to blend out wet/dry conditions and control those flatter patterns.

Roto Grip TNT is the newest version of the control symmetrical solid that is a must-have for any competitive bowler. Overall, this ball reminds me generally of the Idol, Haywire or Zen Master. The slower response allows for maximum control of the breakpoint. The TNT is unique in that it maintains its axis longer and isn't as liable to roll out or deflect like some of the other shapes before it. Overall, the TNT is great for flatter conditions and for blending out the "cliff"

The Tour Dynam-x is a shape that is essential to any bowler's bag. Initially, I thought the Tour Dynam-x would out-hook the IQ Tour Solid. Interestingly, I found that they picked up in almost the same spot, but the Tour Dynam-x got a little more forward off the end of the pattern, allowing me a little more control of the breakpoint. It's notable that the TD provides more control than the IQ Tour, seeing as how the IQ Tour has been the standard of control and predictability as long as it has been on the market (and that's been awhile). The TD also has the unique ability to get across the lane with slower speed and still maintain its axis/hitting power. The TD rolls like an IQ Tour but softens the breakpoint up a bit more and hits more like a big ball. What's not to love?

The Wrecker is FINALLY back!! Even before i threw Storm equipment, I knew this one matched up well to me. This is the perfect example of a clean benchmark-type medium ball. Like other mid-RG mid-Diff symmetrical balls, the Ultimate Wrecker goes a few feet longer and transitions a little more smoothly, but unlike those other balls, the Ultimate Wrecker REALLY continues through the pins. Comparable balls for me tend to get lopey/tumbly downlane, but the Ultimate Wrecker never quits hooking. This ball has been great for me on medium/blended friction, and with so many centers now having so much built-in friction, this ball is a must-have for me in the middle of my bag.

The X-Cell is the first of the Cell balls that I've been able to throw, and what a unique shape! the medium RG strong asymmetric core allows the ball to float through the front part of the lane more easily than our other SPI solid asyms, without becoming too flippy. The X-Cell features A.I. core tech, which usually translates to balls being earlier and smoother for me. This is how i read the X-Cell; smooth, controllable, heavy rolling, and continuous. This ball provides a unique addition to our product line. If you like solid asyms and want one that is slightly cleaner, the X-Cell is that ball!

Absolute is the newest clean asym from Storm. Featuring the new R2S Deep Hybrid Cover, this ball creates a unique clean and smooth shape that is unlike anything else in the product line. The smoother shape gives me more forgiveness than a typical shiny asym, while still storing energy and continuing through the deck. The overall weaker coverstock formula makes the window of usability for this ball much larger than most bigger asyms as well. Overall, this ball will be great when the backends are flying or the lanes are hooking, but you still need something to calm down the friction while storing energy.

Introducing the newest solid asym from the Storm lineup! The Absolute Power combines the smooth and strong Sentinel core with the mild and clean R2S Deep Solid coverstock. This combo yields a very useable solid asym that is surprisingly clean and quick without being overresponsive. This ball fills a gap between traditional solid asyms like the DNA and cleaner, sharper asyms like the Virtual Energy Blackout. The Absolute Power for me rolls like a giant IQ Tour Solid: revs up quick but doesn't get off line too early, continues downlane without getting forward, and provides a unique shape that fits in the "control ball" category. You don't want to miss this one, it really is a unique piece that fills a gap!

DNA is the new big solid asym in the Storm family. For me, this ball is in the same vein as the Reality. While being big, strong and early, both still manage to store energy and maintain a high carry percentage. The DNA is a touch cleaner and more dynamic overall, making it a great balance of control and continuation. DNA allows me to play more in the oil and create more traction and control, but i don't have to sacrifice any pin carry or throw a ball that is "slower". Overall, the DNA is quickly becoming my go-to big ball.

The Coil is the first use of EXO Pearl that we've seen. This ball is heavy rolling and fits near the top of the bag. I can see myself using this ball to blend out the cliff on a high friction surface, or slow hooking this ball on a slightly higher volume condition. This ball fits right below the Magic Gem for me, it's similarly early and rounded but stores a bit more energy for the back part of the lane. If you're looking for a really strong compliment to solid asyms like the Harsh Reality or Eternity Pi, the coil fits just below those without being as clean and sharp as the Virtual Energy Blackout or the Attention Star

Equinox is another great addition to Storm's family of pearl asym's. This category is one where Storm often excels, and the Equinox provides a unique take on this classic category. While Equinox features a new core shape, it has familiar and relatively normal numbers. However, the coverstock is more medium which puts this ball in the same vein as the AstroPhysix and the Absolute. These weaker cover-strong core balls are more useable on older surfaces, which are more and more prevalent in today's game. Equinox is a pearl asym that gives you that strong, classic hook shape in a slightly weaker/cleaner package that makes it more useable for today's condition. You do NOT want to miss this one!

The Fate is the newest collab between Storm Bowling and Jason Belmonte. This thing is a backend monster! The mid-RG makes the core spin further down the lane, while the higher differential makes the ball flare enough to recover from anywhere! The 4th iteration of REX Pearl, this cover compliments this core in a way that gives it length, traction, and continuation. This ball is great for those rev-dominant players who want to see the ball clear the mids and jerk down the lane!

This ball is a unique and updated take on the quintessential big asym solid. This is the big, strong snow tire piece that you need on heavy oil or to blend out the cliff. As for what makes this ball unique: the NRG Solid cover is strong, and this is the first time we've seen this cover stateside since the Trend 2 (which was a hybrid). The A.I. core technology adds to the predictability that you want out of this type of ball. A.I. core technology also creates a longer continuation window, which makes this ball more continuous than other similar/previous big solid asyms. The result is a smooth, continuous, strong ball that keeps its axis longer, continues better, and hits harder. This has been my go-to ball to blend out the cliff, and it will be yours too.

Ion Pro is a fresh take on a must-have shape! This reinvention of the benchmark ball provides a smooth shape that is both predictable and dynamic. This ball feels like a torquier IQ Tour Solid with a slightly stronger cover. The TX-16 formula feels familiar, yet the hybrid version featured here creates a little more length and allows this ball to handle more oil than the IQ Tour without being as strong/early as the Phaze 2. This ball is exactly what I want out of a benchmark ball: early, smooth, and predictable. And like any true benchmark ball, it fits right in the middle of my bag! This ball is one-of-a-kind. Introducing the newest urethane Storm ball, the IQ 78-U! Featuring the tried and true C3 core and a brand new harder urethane shell, the 78-U provides an updated compliment to the Pitch Black. Overall, the 78-U is slightly cleaner and more continuous than the Pitch Black, due in large part to the higher differential provided by the C3 core. If you're looking for that early, controllable, classic urethane shape that is compliant with the latest PBA rules and designed to handle modern day lane conditions, the 78-U is THE ball for you!

IQ Tour Ruby is the return of a familiar favorite: R2S Pearl paired with the Centripetal core. The shape this ball creates is unique. It revs up in the midlane because of the low RG, low diff core, but it stores energy and creates a ton of angle off the spot due to the cleaner cover. This ball compliments other pearl symmetricals in our line by being more angular than the Phaze V but overall still a step down from the Zen. If they are hooking a little bit to start, this ball always gives me a great look that I can get back from anywhere while still keeping the pins low and splitting the 8-9.

The Journey features the F-8 core from the Fate. This core creates length and responsiveness downlane. When paired with REX pearl, the result was a long and angular ball that was great on friction and across the pattern. The Journey features the TX-16 Pearl cover wrapped around this core. TX-16 has no nano additive, but is stronger overall than REX Pearl. The result is a smoother, slightly earlier cover that creates a more versatile ball overall. Journey doesn't need quite as much friction as the Fate to pick up correctly, and isn't quite as angular overall. Journey is a strong, mid-RG pearl ball that has enough teeth to use on fresh, but stores enough energy to get across the pattern.

It midlanes more than the Hy-Road Pearl but still has that signature Hy-Road backend motion. With a surprising amount of traction in oil, the Night Road is a great compliment to cleaner strong balls like the Reality Check or Infinite Physix. The Night Road cover is strong enough to make it a great 3 ball when your big stuff starts to be too much but they

At first glance, this looks like another big dull asym, with one purpose: cut through oil. But this ball is more than just a snow tire. The Nova is the most angular dull asymmetric ball I've ever thrown. Not only can i use the surface to blend out wet/dry, but i can step left and go around the lane without sacrificing carry. This ball is the best of both worlds.

This core/cover combo has been long-anticipated. R2S Pearl is one of Storm's most popular coverstock formulas to date. Featured on pieces like the AstroPhysix, The IQ Emerald and the original Trend, you can't argue with how good this cover is for all different styles. The Velocity core makes this ball slow down in the mids and allows you to control the lane front to back without sacrificing carry. Finally, a pearl Phaze is here! And it might have even exceeded expectations...

Finally, a pearl Phaze is BACK!! But how does this one improve upon the most recent iteration, the Phaze V? First, the updated core features A.I. tech. So, longer continuation window, more gradual change of direction, and better carry. Second, the coverstock is TX-16 Pearl, a healthy step up from R2S Pearl which was featured on the Phaze V. With all of these things together, you get a Phaze that is true to the identity of Storm but also provides great length, continuation and versatility. With a cover that can handle more oil and a core that keeps going from bigger angles than the original, the Phaze A.I. is a really impressive piece that fills a gap and is SUPER useable on today's conditions.

The Phaze 5 is the return of R2S Pearl on the Velocity core. The result is a great blend of entry angle and control. The cover gives this ball length, while the core helps it pick up in the midlane and continue through the pins. This ball is great as a ball down from your big asyms or solid symmetricals. The milder straight reactive pearl formula of this coverstock means this ball is in play on a lot of different lane surfaces and conditons. This ball fits a great spot in the bag for many different styles. Go to your local pro shop and pick one up. You won't be disappointed!

Revenant is the return of the Spectre. This ball features the R3S Cover, which is a step up from the flagship R2S formula. For me, the Revenant has been a great 2-ball to go to off of earlier shapes like the Phaze 2 and TNT. Revenant provides the perfect ball down when the lanes start to hook more front-to-back. The higher RG of the core adds length and helps the ball float through the earlier friction as the lanes transition.

A pearl Hy-Road RETURNS!! This take on the timeless favorite features R2S DEEP Pearl and the same great Inverted FE weight block, only this time with A.I. core technology. The result feels like a Hy-Road Pearl with a slightly stronger/smoother cover that can handle more oil than the original, while still being clean and never reading the front part of the lane. The A.I. core also lends itself to smoother ball motion and a longer hook phase. Practically, this ball is a way more useable version of the original Hy-Road Pearl for me. It flares a bit more, continues longer and revs up a tick earlier. This version of R2S DEEP Pearl feels stronger/more capable of handling oil than R2S Pearl, which makes this more of a medium-strength ball and less of a super weak/clean ball for me. You don't want to miss this Hy Road Pearl 2.0!

The Spectre embodies what Storm does best: backending monster, house shot killer, come back from anywhere. Featuring R3S Pearl, this cover formula is strong enough to handle oil and go across the puddle. The Spectra never quits. Once it makes the turn, it drives right through the 8 spot every time. This ball is what every league player needs in their bag.

What are the most iconic Storm balls of all time? The first two spots are locked up: Phaze 2 and IQ Tour Solid. Summit is the meeting of these two legends. Featuring a refreshed hybrid version of the Phaze 2 coverstock and a high performance version of Centripetal core from the IQ, Summit does it all. While the cover allows the ball to store energy and blend out the friction, the core creates torque and a ton of overall flare/hook. Summit is the perfect ball to fit the gap between the Phaze 2 and your favorite solid asym piece. Summit is clean, smooth, strong and continuous. Get yours June 23rd, you don't want to miss this one.

The third iteration of the Summit line is here! The Summit Ascent features a different color formula than the first two, which is an exciting turn for this ball. R2S Solid is an absolute hit on the IQ Tour Solid (GOAT ball), so the Ascent has a lot to live up to! For me, this ball is a very similar feel to the IQ Tour Solid in terms of the spot it fills in the bag, but the shape is significantly different than that of the IQTS. The stronger, larger core in the Summit results in a smoother, slower shape that is still continuous, but not quite as quick/responsive as the IQ Tour Solid. If you find your IQ Tour Solid to be too sideways at times, or if it doesn't have quite enough differential for you, The Ascent is a great option with a similar hook potential. This ball also provides an option for people who are looking for that early, smooth symmetrical shape but find the Phaze 2 cover to be a bit too strong. This ball is super unique and potentially fills a couple of really interesting gaps in the bag!

The Summit Peak is the newest pearl symmetrical ball from Storm. If you know Storm, you know this is thier bread and butter! The Summit Peak gives me a clean, smooth ball that still tips enough downlane to provided a great transition piece on flatter conditions, while also being a great league ball on most house shots. This ball is the return of a shape we got out of balls like the Axiom Pearl and original Trend, but the latest version uses A.I. core technology. This new Storm tech makes the ball rev up quicker while still keeping its axis and continuing downlane. This combines control and dynamic ball motion in a way we haven't seen from Storm until this year, and the result is a reliable shape that never misses the midlane and also still hooks plenty downlane!

The Super Nova is the new big ball on the block. Featuring the very strong NEX Solid cover, this ball feels like a step up from the 900 Global Reality. The Nova core makes this ball backend and continue a lot, where balls like the Proton Physix and Gem get more forward and straighten out on the back part of the lane. The Reality was the first solid asym we saw that really continued through the pins, and the Super Nova feels like a step up from that. NEX Solid is stronger and earlier, but the Nova core helps this ball still split the 8-9 even from deeper/bigger angles.

The Road is the first iteration of A.I. core technology in the HyRoad series. The result is a HyRoad that revs up slightly quicker, rounds off a touch more, and overall makes a shape that is slightly smoother and stronger than and HyRoad so far. Combined with the ReX Hybrid cover (another first), this ball is squarely in the benchmark category. A healthy step up from the HyRoad, the Road feels like an improvement on other strong-cover HyRoad series balls before it; the All Road, The Night Road, and to a lesser extent, the HyRoad X, one of my all time favorites. The stronger core of The Road allows it to fit above the HyRoad as the perfect option for blended house shots and medium to dry conditions. It effortlessly gets downlane in true HyRoad fashion, but with a larger continuation window and much stronger cover, The Road is your shell up from the HyRoad that we've all been waiting for, not to mention a TON of ball for the price point.

Great ball in the middle of the bag. Strong cover, mild core really blends out friction and creates a boomy downlane shape without being snappy or uncontrollable.

The Typhoon is the newest medium RG symmetrical pearl in the Storm line. Anecdotally, this one reminds me a lot of the Revenant. Clean, smooth, and a little lopey/slower response overall. This combination is unique to the market because you get the length and downlane motion, but its far more controlled and less sideways. This shape is a great way to battle early friction and calm down quick backends, when you typically have to pick one or the other. This ball has quickly made it into the middle of my bag, it fits just ahead of the Hustle line in a gap that has long-needed to be filled!

The Blackout is the newest big asym to feature the REX Pearl cover. This cover has quickly become a staple in the storm family becasue of its unique ability to create midlane traction and backend motion. In this iteration, the cover feels cleaner and more responsive than the previous asym balls that featured this cover. On the lanes, this ball is the perfect first ball out of the bag. Its clean and quick enough to get the ten out, but strong enough that you can throw it on the fresh and still get it to pick up. This is gonna be one of the best balls of the year. If anyone knows how to do big pearl asyms, it's Storm!
