I bought this ball to use on oily lanes, and to try to keep up with the high rev players. What an awesome ball. I had it drilled by the professionals at bowling.ball.com, and the fit is great. The first time I used the DV-8 Feud, I shot 677 in a tournament. I pulled the ball straight out of the box, and it was the perfect lane condition. Mind you, this ball does need oil. I bought it as a condition ball, knowing that it would not be used in our typical league shot. I'm thinking about drilling another one, and putting a little shine on it. This ball hits like a mack truck. The people on our tournament pair ask me what I was throwing because it created so much area. I believe I sold them on the Feud. Being a medium rev player, I would recommend this ball to all the strokers that want to compete with the cranker of the bowling community.

Not the strongest ball as advertised. I pre ordered this thinking it would create more area then my Ghost, but the Rising is the straightest ball in my arsenal. This isn’t a bad thing because I can use it when the shot is burnt out. It still has good hitting power. I’m thinking there might be something wrong with the first batch of ball that was released for the Jackal Rising. On my scale of hook it would be a 2 on a scale of 1 to 10.

Great looking 4 ball bag. The black and red is a great combination. If I had to do all over, I probably would have gotten the Storm 4 ball bag because of the two extra pockets on the side of the removable bag. I didn't realize the Roto didn't have the extra pockets until I received it. If you don't need the extra pockets, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase the Roto Grip 4 ball bag.

Critical Theory: What an awesome ball. It's a great ball to compliment the Infinite Theory When you need to create area. Used it for the first night as a pacer in league and shot 712. Not bad for not throwing for 4 weeks. Even the out of bounds shots, the ball finished hard. No roll out here. I would recommend this for all types of bowlers. League average 203; ball speed 15 mph.
