I can't get enough of the GB2! I have 3! 1 is pin under the ring and box surface and the other 2 are the same pin up layout (1 is box and the other is shiny). Gives me a super predictable reaction and blends out my misses. I use this ball on most house shots and when sport shots start to break down I like this as a "go to". This ball, to me, is a great compliment to the Hammer Red Legend Pearl. They have similar overall hook but the shapes are just slightly different.

This ball is a welcomed step up from the GB2. With box finish, there is a little more traction in the middle part of the lane with the shape being a little less dramatic than the GB2 (a little slower reaction off of the dry). I’ve only used this ball at its factory surface so I would recommend this be used on medium patterns.

A great compliment to the Ebonite GB2. I have both with the same exact layout and when one doesn't go through the pins exactly right, the other will! Great ball for medium to dryer lanes. Makes for a killer house shot ball!

The Onyx is long and super smooth. When the lanes are bone-dry, pick up this ball and keep striking! The Onyx reaction is great when your angles can be kept shut down.

This ball adds another great product to the Venom line. The asymmetric core helps me early in the league night or at the start of a tournament to blend out the oil in the mid lane and the friction at the end of the pattern. This lends itself to be on the smooth side of ball shapes, but it can still be a trusted ball to move left with. If you were a fan of the Venom Recoil and looking for something that is close, then this could be your answer.

It took me a while to warm up to the Tank line but now I’m a big fan and this release just strengthens the line even more! This new version of the MCP is wrapped around my favorite core giving me all the confidence in the world when I need a stronger controlled shape. This ball has become my absolute “go to” for any house condition. I did end up tweaking the box surface a bit to get the length needed for the house shots. 2000/4000 and let ‘er rip! This ball can still cover boards and finish through the pin deck without typical urethan deflection. This ball is one zone stronger than the Tank Blitz and two zones stronger than the Blue Tank (all with the same layout).

The Crimson Jackal’s design intent was to be angular in heavier volumes of oil. As a balanced bowler, I feel like Motiv nailed it! While this ball isn’t really the first ball out of my bag, it does play a vital roll in ball #2 or ball #3 after the lanes begin to opens up and it allows me to continue to strike. I feel like this ball performs well on house patterns that aren’t super cliffed and many medium challenge and sport patterns.

Not only does this ball stand out with the crazy colors but it is backed up by performing on the lane. This ball is a great benchmark ball and is often one of the first balls out of my bag to get a read on the oil pattern for the night. The ball is super versatile and can tame a lane or conversely can help open up a lane as well. Even though the Evoke falls on the smoother side of the Motiv ball chart I think that this ball still provides great continuation.

This version of the Venom might be one of the cleanest and hardest cornering Venoms. I put my favorite Venom Shock layout on the Fatal Venom and I was excited to see the reaction! The ball still revs up nicely even at a 2.48 RG (15lbs). I use this ball on most of a medium to low volume house pattern on a variety of lane surfaces (wood and different synthetics). While the Fatal Venom might not always be the first ball out of the bag, it will fit nicely as a compliment to the Venom Shock to give you some added length and more angle to kick out those corners!

Motiv hits a homerun with shelf appeal on one of the best lines of balls in all of bowling! Please don’t leave it sitting on the shelf or you will be giving up loads of strikes! I love this ball on a variety of house patterns. I can often move from a Venom Shock straight to a Hyper Venom when I need a little more length and pop down lane to help get the corner pins out. I put my standard pin up layout on my Hyper Venom and I’m very happy with the results I see on the lanes.

Need a longer and more angular Venom Shock? Primal Shock is your answer! This ball allows me to move left and get steep with my angles and still have enough core to get back to the pocket without losing energy! Often times I can get forced into weaker balls due to not clearing the front part of the lane, but I don’t have to worry with this ball. One of my favorite things about this piece. This ball (drilled the same as my Venom), is about an arrow stronger and a few feet longer than my Venom Shock.

First off, this ball looks awesome just sitting there! I’ve always liked the Rip Cord line so I was excited to see what this ball has in store. I have mine drilled pin up with a smaller VAL angle. This allows me to use the designed cover intent, to get down the lane, then have a sharper move down lane. I like using this ball on dryer house patterns. If I need more length from a Venom Shock this is the ball of choice. It gets noticeably further down lane than anything I’m currently throwing. When you need to curve ‘em, get this in your hand ASAP!

This ball looks great and matches it’s looks with performance! I’ve always struggled with “bigger” balls quitting down lane but not with this ball. I’m able to chase the oil deep and still get the corners out. The clean shiny cover allows the ball to get down lane as needed and the Oblivion core helps make a violent move off of the pattern! For this reason, I drilled mine pin under the ring finger to help slow the ball down some before making the turn into the pocket. I typically will use this ball as a step up to whatever my benchmark ball will be for the day. I’m really happy with this pearl symmetric ball from Motiv!

Motiv continues to add another great ball to the Tank line. Right away I thought this ball looked like it had too much surface but I was proven wrong. The box surface of 1000 Grit LSS fits well (could even need 500 Grit) with the smoother reaction of this ball. Overall, this Tank is a good bit less than the previously released Tank Yellowjacket. This ball is a must if you want to be a competitive bowler and need to control lighter volume and/or shorter oil patterns.

The Tank Yellowjacket is a tank with some TEETH! This ball comes at 1000 grit and really digs hard fresh out of the box. The reaction gets better with some games on it. Once the cover is broken in, this ball gives more of a traditional urethane reaction with motion in the front part of the lane. I like this ball on the shorter patterns with about 2000 or 3000 surface. The Yellowjacket is much straighter than the Carbide Tank which gives the Tank line even more depth!

The Alias is very unique in that the same ball can be drilled two different ways to be either symmetrical or asymmetrical (see trackbowling.com for more details). Out of the two ways to lay this ball out, I prefer the symmetrical layout. This layout provides a large smooth arc to the pocket which, for me, is easier to still hit the pocket on my misses. The asymmetrical still has its place, however I find that it likes to hook the second it sees the dry part of the lane. Both balls are the most hook I have in my bag. Both balls are great for higher volumes. I just depends on how you want to get to the pocket….nice and smooth or a snap hook!

My layout is pin above the ring finger. Most high end hooking balls I'm not a fan of because they will hit the friction and not go through the pins the right way to carry corner pins. The Cyborg is the exact opposite! To my surprise, this ball has a strong mid lane dig with a predictable strong arc off of the pattern. I am able to use this ball on multiple patterns from the USBC national patterns (box finish) to a typical house shot (4000 Abralon). Very solid high end ball in my opinion!

The ball is my "go to" when my original Cyborg starts to read the mid-lane too much. The Cyborg Pearl will clear that much better while still giving me a similar shape.

I also like to use the Cyborg Pearl on a oilier house shot to again give me the mid-lane read I look for.

The Heat for me is just OK. It doesn't wow me with its shape down the lane. I already seemed to have this motion in my arsenal with my Track Tour SiC in that it has a medium length/medium hook type of reaction. I was expecting this coverstock to allow the ball to get further down the lane. This would be a good "benchmark" ball or a ball down from your benchmark.

This ball is a perfect step down from the Kinetic Emerald. The Amethyst will clear the front part of the lane the best out of all the Kinetics (current) to give you the back end pop when the lanes get a little dryer. I find this ball is great for a dryer house condition and not having to worry about weak 10 pins is great!

This ball can hook! It allows me to open up my angles down lane and give me a different look. The Kinetic Emerald can out hook my GB2 by about 5 boards. It also has more length than my GB2. Even with the amount of hook this ball has, it is still predictable and very easy to repeat shot shapes.

This ball is another solid (see what I did there?) release from the Track brand! With a similar layout as my Kinetic Emerald, the Ruby, out hooks it by about 5 boards and starts up just a little sooner. It still gives me a predictable shape in which I look for all of my equipment. I see this ball being used on a fresh pattern or where there is more than normal volume. Then easily switch to the Kinetic Emerald when the time comes!

For a ball with surface, it clears the front and middle part of the lane very well and still packs a punch when it hits the pocket. Once the ball changes direction it has a strong "rolly" reaction. I prefer box surface on this ball versus shine.

Another Track ball with some “teeth”! I like this more than I do the original Paradox because this ball has a little more length. With the added length the hook phase is a little more dramatic giving me the ability to kick out the ten pin! I like using this ball on broken down long patterns or a medium pattern.

This is a good one to have when you are needing to get through the front part of the lane a little cleaner (than a ball with surface) but still have the recovery down lane to the pocket. This ball does hook a bunch so its best used on a medium to heavy lane pattern. I play with the surface of this ball between 2000 abralon and 4000 and seem to have good ball motion.

The Precision can be very useful on a medium volume oil pattern. I have found that this ball works the best once the lanes have started to break down, when the need for a strong aggressive ball is necessary.

This ball is simply a great benchmark type ball. My pin down layout on this ball helps me get a feel for what the lane is doing, as this ball is #1 out of my bag. It gives me a smoother reaction but still covers a good number of boards.

This is one of my favorite "benchmark" balls. I have a pin up and a pin down layout and use them regularly in league. The big core and the solid cover with some surface help blend out the lane to give me a more consistent reaction.
