Lane Condition: 40 Foot THS
Summary: This is a new entry into the Preferred series, the All in takes the S73 pear cover with the Clockwork symmetric core. This pearl comes with a 4000 grit non polished finish. This combination for me created a ball that read the mid lane very strong and was still able to continue through the pins. Shots that missed in the oil, the cover was strong enough to get the ball rolling and still be able to hit the pocket with some authority. Shots that missed outside and hit the dry were able to recover with good hitting power. This ball will find a spot in my tournament bag as I feel the shapes that it gives would help smooth out the reaction on the flatter patterns.
This is another great release from 900 Global.

The altered reality is the strong asymmetrical Pearl that has been missing from my bag. I have gotten to bowl a few times with it and for me it is a heart step down from the reality when I still want a strong ball. This ball has no problem getting down the lane, and is very strong and predictable. Compared to my reality, both drilled the same way, I have the altered reality 3-4 feet longer on fresh conditions and usually would need to be 3-4 further right with my feet. Where I see this ball being really good, besides on house shots, is the first transition in a tournament where I still want a strong cover and core but need to get it through the fronts clean.

Another great release from the team!!

Ball: 900 Global black Ops
Drilling: 4 x 6 x 3

Lane Condition: 40 Foot THS
Summary: The Black Ops was drilled with the pin above my bridge and the CG kicked 30 degrees with no extra hole.
The proven S70 cover stock is back and I couldn’t be more excited with the Black Ops. The all black color with orange logos gives the ball some added curb appeal in my eyes. Now to the nuts and bolts, this ball flat out can make a move down lane as strong if not stronger than any ball that I have thrown. This ball is really clean through the heads and creates a sharp motion in the backends. This ball will be a favorite of all players that like to go away from the pocket. In my opinion, this ball would be best when the first transition starts to happen and from there just continue to chase inside as I have had difficulty finding angles of which I couldn’t get this ball back to the pocket.
Recommend this ball for all types of players.

Ball: 900 Global Boost (Cardinal Red)
Drilling: 4 x 5 x 4
Pap: 4 3/8 x ¼ up
Finish: Box Finish
Lane Condition: 40 Foot THS
Summary: The Boost was drilled with the pin above my bridge and the CG stacked with no extra hole.
Our boost series definitely is a great performance value. Here comes the newest edition, the Cardinal Red. The only other boos t I currently have is the blue black (drilled pin up) and I found that even with the pin down layout on this ball, the red boost gets down the lane further and has a very sharp reaction down lane. Clean and effortless through the front part of the lane, I was able to play this ball anywhere from 5 to 25 at the arrows on the fresh and didn’t lose any hit regardless of the angles played.
I look forward to getting to use this ball when the fronts are burnt as I do not think this ball will have any trouble getting through and retaining energy.

Summary: The Chemical X was drilled with the pin above my bridge and the CG stacked with no extra hole.
The announcement of this ball made me very happy. To finally get a urethane ball in our line was like Christmas come early. The cover and core on this ball provided ball motion that reminded me of the “real” urethane days of blue hammers and black u dots. The motion of this ball is very strong rolling but still has pop through the pins. This ball is a must have if you are bowling on any pattern that is 37 feet or less. I have also used this on medium patterns and still was able to find success with it.
I compared this ball to a pitch black that was drilled the same way and found that the Boo Yah was a couple boards stronger than the pitch black. Started its motion a couple feet sooner but also continued strong through the pin decks.

Summary: My first reaction of throwing this ball was WOW! WOW being I finally have a low flaring ball in my bag that does not over react to the dry. I had to keep moving right as this ball was so clean through the front part of the lane and so mellow downlane. This ball will be an excellent addition to anyone’s arsenal and is a must have for the tournament player.
I used this ball in a tournament on Kegel 37ft Broadway pattern on old hooking wood. I am still learning my arsenal so my move to this ball was late (game 8) however I got to see just exactly how much I will love this ball. I was able to easily get it through the hooking middle part of the lane and once it hit the end of the pattern, the ball made a gradual motion back towards the pins. This allows for you to be able to control the change of direction while being able to tighten up the angles through the front.
Another great new addition to the 900 Global family.

Summary: The Chemical X was drilled with the pin under my bridge and the CG stacked with no extra hole.
What surprised me about this ball was the smoothness that it had. The ball comes with a 4000 grit factory finish and looking at the ball you may think that it is one that would tend to hook early. This couldn’t be far from the truth. This ball is really clean through the fronts and from there I would consider the motion magical. It reads the middle and then makes a subtle, arcing motion back towards the pins. After my initial practicing with this ball, I think this is going to be one of my go to balls on short patterns as well as when there is a lot of fresh back end hook.

I drilled this Desert Ops the same as my Special Ops to be able to compare the ball motion. The ever popular S70 coverstock was used on this ball in a pearl version. This compliments the OPS line as the Black Ops was a solid cover and the Special Ops was a hybrid cover. Compared to the Special Ops, the Desert Ops goes about 3 feet longer but when it gets to the friction this ball certainly knows what to do. This ball changes direction very quickly for me and provides a great option when I need to open my angles up and have a ball that will respond quickly.

Finish: Box Finish
Lane Condition: 40 Foot THS
Summary: This new addition in the Dream line up, the dream big, is the strongest cover in the series to date. I drilled this dream big the same as I drilled my Dream and Dream on which is the pin above the bridge with the cg kicked about 20 degrees and the mass bias is to the right of my thumb. This ball for me was 3- 4 boards stronger than the Dream on. This ball provides a strong arc with very strong continuation through the pins. I felt like I could basically throw this ball as far right as I wanted to and never worry that it would not get back to the pocket.
900 global did a great job with this ball and the color scheme is very eye catching. This is another must have product from 900 Global.

Summary:
A big core, Strong Pearl, Asymmetrical Ball in the Dream Line? My first response was, Yes Please!!!!! I drilled this dream big pearl the same as I drilled my Dream and Dream on which is the pin above the bridge with the cg kicked about 20 and I placed the mass bias 3 inches out on my vertical axis line. This was at the suggestion of our Tour Rep in an effort to produce a very strong mid lane roll and still retain energy in the back ends.
The result of this has become one of my all time favorite balls. This ball will get through the heads very clean and still picks up strong in the midlane. From there, you will have plenty of continuation through the pins and this ball hits like a Semi-Truck fully loaded.
I have used this ball on a variety of different patterns from 37ft to 43 ft and had lots of success with it.
I would recommend this ball to any type of player regardless of speed, rev rate. This is definitely a must have ball for any arsenal.

A new core and cover combination, the Drift is a perfect option when the lanes break down and you need to move left and get something that clears the front part of the lane easily and still is able to bounce of the dry down lane. The purple color looks amazing going down the lane and the performance that you will get from this ball is unrivaled.

Compared to the X, the drift is longer and more angular and together they provide a great 1, 2 punch for your bowling needs.

When the Altered Reality was discontinued, it was a crushing blow as that high end strong cover, strong core, pearl asymmetric ball was one of my absolute favorites. When I saw that a replacement was going to be coming, in the form or the Eternity, I was really excited.

First let’s start with the colors, the silver, black, and purple as just stand out, with the yellow engraving. This ball looks amazing, but looks are not the only thing amazing about this ball.

Using a pin down layout and a bigger pin buffer, I wanted to let this ball just go and that is exactly what I got. This ball has no issues clearing the front of the lane, while still being able to get in the hook phase in the right spot. I didn’t have to worry about this ball making the corner, as like it’s predecessor (Altered) this ball saves a lot for the down lane motion. I had this ball a touch less than the Altered, but that most likely is due to the difference in the layouts between the two balls.

Comparing this to the Reality Check, drilled similar, the Reality Check is a couple feet sooner and was more forward down lane. The balls would play well off each other when the fronts start to get chewed up, you can get to the Eternity and still stay in the same zone for longer.

I would see this ball being very good for a variety of styles, and see it excelling in a higher rev rate player later in blocks in tournaments.

Overall another super stellar release from 900 Global.

Review
The Tour Engineered 900 Series all new Harsh Reality utilizes the Reserve Batch Blend 902 solid coverstock combined with the Disturbance Asymmetric A.I. Core to give you the strongest ball in the 900 Global line. I am convinced the Harsh Reality is stronger than the original reality and slightly better performance. Mostly due to the AI core technology. I drilled my Harsh Reality with my standard pin up layout and this ball did not disappoint. It was able to read in the mid lane but still continue through the pins. I have used this on a 43 foot high volume pattern as well as typical house shots. I found this ball performing well on both, however this ball thrives when it sees a lot of volume. For me the Harsh Reality is two to three boards stronger than the original Reality. The Harsh Reality will be my first choice on heavy oil patterns. This is a great ball for all levels of bowlers that are looking for a strong ball to help with those really oliy fresh lane conditions.

The 900 Global Harsh Reality Pearl is the latest entry in 900 Global’s revered lineup, following the original Harsh Reality.
The Harsh Reality Pearl retains a visually striking aesthetic, with a vibrant pearl finish that glistens under the lane lights. Its colors not only provide visual appeal but also serve as a good indicator of its performance: it stands out on the shelves and indeed promises excitement on the lane.
The core of the Harsh Reality Pearl has the new 902 Pearl coverstock. This allows it to glide smoothly, providing a more effortless reaction when transitioning to the back end when compared to the original Harsh Reality and the 902 solid coverstock.
Both models utilize the same high-powered AI core. What sets the Harsh Reality Pearl apart is its enhanced angle at the breakpoint. Bowlers will notice a more aggressive angular reaction on the backend, making it ideal for players who thrive under heavy oil conditions but still seek that explosive backend turn and carry.
One of the most noticeable differences between the two balls is how easily the Pearl maintains energy through its travel. In contrast, the original Harsh Reality, while still powerful, can sometimes burn energy too quickly on the backend. The Pearl’s extended length and moderate backend hook provide a user-friendly bowling experience, especially for bowlers looking to control their moves without over-revving.
In conclusion, the 900 Global Harsh Reality Pearl does an exceptional job of building on the strengths of the original. While both models are fantastic choices for bowlers seeking performance on oily lanes, the Pearl is notably more versatile and capable of adapting to a broader range of lane conditions. Its smooth glide through the heads, coupled with a stronger backend reaction, gives it a unique position in the lineup, making it a worthy addition for bowlers looking to step up their game.
If you loved the original Harsh Reality but occasionally found it limiting in some conditions, the Pearl version could be the upgrade you’ve been waiting for. For competitive bowlers seeking an edge in versatility and hook potential, the 900 Global Harsh Reality Pearl is highly recommended!

First of all, 900 Global hit a home run with this ball visually. The Blue/Grey/Purple colors really go well together and definitely will stand out in the Pro Shop. I decided to drill this Inception Pearl similar to an Inception so that I could compare the two side by side. The Inception Pearl for me goes 4-5 feet longer than my inception and creates more down lane angle than the Inception.

The ball comes with a 4000 grit factory finish. This ball was drilled identical to an X that I have and this s ball definitely has a stronger motion in the mid lane but and is also stronger in the backend. Overall this ball is 3 and 1 stronger than the similarly drilled X. . On house patterns, it helps blend out the wet dry giving a more predictable ball reaction.
This is a must have release and another great addition to the Tour check line.

The 900 Global Origin is designed for bowlers who seek precision and performance on the lanes. The heart of the Origin is its innovative core, the new Eilpse AI core. This core is wrapped inside a brand new cover, the R93 Hybrid cover, finished with Power Edge Polish, this ball looks as good as it performs.

In terms of performance, bowlers can expect a reliable mid-lane roll with the 900 Global Origin. The ball excels on medium to heavier oil patterns, providing enough backend recovery to hit the pocket with authority. The balance between traction and skid allows for versatile shot-making, making it suitable for various playing styles. I have only got to use it on a house pattern, and I really look forward to testing this ball on patterns where I think it will really shine. This ball for me would be a step down from my Harsh Reality and Ion Max. Early to mid block is where I anticipate this ball excelling.

Overall, the 900 Global Origin is an excellent choice for bowlers aspiring for consistent performance and high scores. With its carefully engineered core and coverstock, it delivers a powerful punch while maintaining control. Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting, the Origin promises to elevate your bowling experience. Consider adding this ball to your arsenal for a noticeable impact on your game!

Finish: Box Finish
Lane Condition: 40 Foot THS
Summary: I drilled my Respect Pearl with the pin above the center of my bridge and the CG stacked with Factory Finish. Compared to the original Respect, this ball was a good 3-4 feet longer with a very angular finish on the back end. What I am finding with this ball is even though it is a pearl, I am still able to use it in a variety of areas on the lane, I am able to use this ball to go straight up the boards with a strong motion off the end of the pattern as well as to be able to get in and wheel on it. This new piece is a definite must add to your arsenal from 900 global.

Summary:
I drilled this Respect Solid with the pin above the center of my bridge and the CG kicked 30 degrees. If you are looking for a strong, symmetrical bowling ball, you have found it in the Respect Solid. This 78 Dig Solid cover stock really digs in the oil while providing a very smooth transition off the pattern. For a heavy volume pattern this will be my first ball out of the bag. I have also used this ball in a second shift league pattern and even with the cover being strong, was still able to have great success moving in and throwing it at the hook spot and letting it smoothly roll off of the spot.
I have also found that the cover on this ball adapts well to surface adjustments. I have taken it all the way down to 500 abralon pad and brought it up to 3000 abralon pad.

The Special Ops is the black ops with a S70 hybrid cover. The special ops gives you an option of a cleaner front lane reaction with still retaining energy for a good direction change at the end of the lane. The black and orange color scheme is visually appealing and looks really good rolling down the lane

Compared to the Black ops, (similar drilling) the special ops was 4 feet longer and a smoother, less angular down lane motio

The New Sublime from 900 Global is a powerhouse! The Immersed Symmetric core is the first Global ball to utilize Storm's A.I. Core technology. This powerful fast revving core is paired with a Polished Hybrid cover called Reserve Blend 802. The resulting combo creates alot of hook.

I just recently added this ball to my new arsenal and drilled in similar to the Absolute Power. When comparing this ball against the absolute power, I found that it was longer, as the cover and finish would dictate, and with the low pin layout was still smooth motion to the pocket. I would see this ball being really good on most house shots, and a great piece to transition to after the Absolute Power is no longer able to get through the pins effectively.

On the house pattern, I was able to keep my angles in front of me and see good reaction but to me this ball really shines when you can open the angles up and throw it away from you. I did not have any issues with the ball wanting to recover and retain energy going through the pins.

I drilled this Truth Pearl the same as I did my Truth. Compared to that Truth, the pearl was about 5 feet longer on the same pattern with stronger response off the friction. This motion down lane is very predictable and while it is strong off the friction I do not find it to overact. The Truth pearl is effortlessly clean and retains plenty of energy to provide excellent power to the pins.

This ball is quickly becoming a go to ball in my bag and would be a great addition for all types of bowler.

Summary: The X was drilled with the with the ring finger through the pin and the CG stacked with no extra hole.
The ball comes with a 2500 grit factory finish. After a couple trips down the lane, I quickly realized that this ball would be my new benchmark ball. Drilled identical to a Chemical X that I have this ball definitely is stronger in the midlane with stronger continual backend motion. I have used this ball on a variety of conditions with success. On flatter patterns it blends the pattern creating a smooth continuous motion which is really controllable. This is great for those that have a hard time controlling the fresh on a flatter pattern. On house patterns, it helps blend out the wet dry giving a more predictable ball reaction.
This is a must have release and another great addition to the Tour check line.

Review
The Xponent Pearl features the all new reserve blend 702 pearl coverstock wrapped around the Shrapnel 2.0 Symmetric core. If the Xponent is the benchmark ball, then the Xponent pearl is the ball for medium to dry lanes that compliments that so well My Xponent pearl is drilled pin down and is still really clean through the fronts, and even though I drilled it to be slower down lane, this ball still really continues through the pins. I have found this ball to be really good on house patterns after the first couple games, as well as some medium length challenge patterns. For a mid part of the bag, I believe this is a must have ball.

Since the announcement of this ball, I was looking forward to getting a chance to see how much stronger this one was to the Zen. I drilled this the same as my favorite Zen with a 5 * 4 1/4 * 2 layout. Using this on a slightly used house pattern, I could really see the difference in the cover between this one and the Zen. The Zen Master started up about 3 feet sooner for me, which was expected, but even with the strong cover and the fresh surface, the Master never got to a point where it quit.

Where I see myself using this are on high volume - medium to 44 foot patterns, and I do see this being a good option when the lanes get super cliffed to blend out the lane.

Another great product from SPI in the 900 global line.

Summary: I drilled this Pure with the pin above below my ring finger and the CG kicked at 45 degrees. The mass bias is slightly right of my thumb. I chose to keep the Factory Finish as I was looking at this ball being my strong early rolling ball. The layout used is my favorite layout and let me tell you, this ball is very strong and has a great roll to it. The motion was very predictable in the mid lane and still had continual roll through the pins. For me this ball will need to have some oil to create maximum carry however I did not have any issues getting in while there was still a good amount of oil. This ball hit hard and carried well. This ball is a great addition for me in the early part of a tournament to keep control of the midlane and pocket.

The Storm ION Max is the latest addition to the Storm lineup, taking everything we loved about the Storm Ion Pro and making it making it even stronger for those higher volume conditions. In this review, I will compare the features, performance, of the ION Max to the ION Pro
The ION Max takes the foundation established by the Pro and amplifies it. Featuring an upgraded core design and the new NRG Solid coverstock, the Max offers even more traction on the lanes and up to 50% more flare potential than the Ion Pro. The asymmetrical AI core provides a dynamic motion that is incredibly responsive. I found the ION Max to excel on medium to heavy oil, offering a continuous motion that translates to powerful pin action.
Overall, the Storm ION Max represents a significant evolution of the already popular Storm Ion Pro. With its upgraded coverstock, dynamic core, and impressive backend reaction, it caters to bowlers looking for a high-performance ball that can handle a variety of conditions with ease. While the Ion Pro remains a solid choice for reliability and predictability, the ION Max shines when it comes to performance versatility and increased hook potential.
If you are in the market for a ball that will excel when there is a lot of oil, this is the one!

The Storm ION Pro bowling ball is a noteworthy addition to Storm's lineup, boasting impressive technology and performance characteristics that make it a strong contender for both competitive and casual bowlers. Having had the opportunity to test it thoroughly, I would like to offer a comparative review against the beloved Storm Phase 2, which has been a staple in many bowlers' arsenals since its release.
The ION Pro features Storm's Element Tour AI core, designed to provide a strong mid-lane read while creating a smooth and controllable backend reaction. The coverstock is composed of the TX-16 Pearl, which allows for versatility across different lane conditions. In contrast, the Phase 2 incorporates the Velocity core and the TX-16 Solid coverstock, well-known for its ability to offer a powerful mid-lane performance and a little less backend reaction than the ION Pro.
When rolling the ION Pro, you can expect a consistently smooth arc and reliable continuation down the lane. It performs particularly well on medium oil patterns, allowing bowlers to feel comfortable making adjustments without overreacting. The ball's ability to maintain its energy until the pins adds to its appeal for those looking to achieve striking consistency.
In contrast, the Phase 2 has a reputation for being a more versatile option across varying oil patterns. Its strong backend reaction makes it a favorite among bowlers who enjoy playing outside the track or taking advantage of transitioning lane conditions.
When it comes to feel, both balls deliver an excellent response from the lanes.

The Storm Phaze AI bowling ball has arrived, and it’s already making waves in the bowling community. As an avid bowler and a fan of Storm products, I was eager to put the Phaze AI to the test and see how it stacks up against its predecessor, the Storm Phaze 2.
The Phaze AI retains the impressive design elements that made the Phaze 2 a favorite among bowlers while incorporating advanced technology that enhances performance. The Phaze AI features the new “AI” core, which is designed to provide a more controlled reaction compared to the original Phaze 2 core.
In terms of overall hook potential, the Phaze AI surpasses the Phaze 2. The combination of the AI core and the TX-16 coverstock allows for an aggressive hook motion that responds well to both oil patterns and varying lane conditions. Whether you’re on a fresh shot or dealing with heavy carrydown, the Phaze AI hooks consistently and offers versatility across different environments.
While the Storm Phaze 2 had its strengths in mid-lane read and backend recovery, the Phaze AI takes it a step further. The backend reaction is noticeably improved, offering a more defined change of direction without sacrificing the smoothness that bowlers appreciate.
One of the standout features of the Phaze AI is its adaptability. During my tests, I was able to use it effectively on both fresh and burnt lanes.
In conclusion, the Storm Phaze AI takes and old favorite and makes it event better. While the Phaze 2 remains a solid choice, the advancements found in the Phaze AI’s core make it a worthy investment for bowlers looking to elevate their game. Its combination of a manageable hook, controllability, and versatility on the lanes makes it a must-try for both competitive and recreational bowlers alike.
If you're seeking a ball that can handle a variety of conditions and offer a reliable reaction, the Storm Phaze AI should definitely be on your radar.

Thnk Hyroad Pearl, but on steroids. This was my first impression of the new Storm bowling Road Warrior. The core of this ball is the prove FE2 AI core and this ball is wrapped in R2S Deep Cover. The colors that were used on this ball really pop as well.

The first thing that struck me about the Road Warrior is its impressive ability to handle a wide range of lane conditions. Whether I was dealing with heavy oil or lighter conditions, the ball performed exceptionally well, providing consistent hook potential and a smooth transition through the backend. For me, this was everything that I loved in the Hyroad pearl, only much better.

What I appreciate most about the Road Warrior is its versatility. It performs well across various styles, whether you're a straight bowler or someone who prefers a more aggressive hook. The adaptability makes it a fantastic choice for league play, or tournaments. While this a ball can be used on the fresh, this ball for me excels later in the day where I have to get the ball through the fronts. The cover makes this ball glide, but I have no doubts the ball will come off the spot strong, allowing me to be confident when throwing it away from me.

The Storm Bowling Road Warrior has solidified its place in my bowling bag. If you're looking for a bowling ball that excels on a variety of lane conditions while still offering style and comfort, the Road Warrior is an excellent choice.

I was excited to see the Trend 2, with its great, eye popping colors, to the redesign of the weight block, I immediately thought this could be a home run. Once I put holes in it, I couldn’t have been happier.
I compared the Trend 2 to the Trend and the initial results were wow, the Trend 2 is so much stronger in the mid lane while still matching the back end motion from the original Trend. I used this on the 45’ dick weber pattern and the ball, while not necessarily being the first ball out of the bag, still handled the shape and volume well. Second pattern was on a house shot. This is where I made my video (search Sean Daniels on you tube) and was able to play almost anywhere I wanted. Straight, track, 4th arrow, lofting, I had a hard time getting this ball not to read and roll the right way.
Storm and Jason have collaborated to make what I feel is a must have piece for all bowlers.
