The new Brunswick Attitude control is a great addition to the urethane crave. I got over 4 inches of flare with the Attitude. I drilled mine at 55 x 4.5 x 30.I took it up to 3000 on the surface to get it to read the midlane the best for my game. I am more up the back of the ball. The new attitude has a similar look as the purple hammer with more overall hook. The attitude control will be roll the best on flatter sport patterns when you need to control the pocket. Great looking color scheme with some attitude.

The new Brunswick Defender is very clean for a solid Aysmmetrical ball. It has more continuation than a normal solid aysm. The defender is best on longer tighter patterns. You can still use the Defender in leagues with some minor surface adjustments. Very good ball from Brunswick.

The Brunswick Ethos Hybrid is a great complement to the original Ethos. The Ethos Hybrid is earlier with more pop downlane. The Ethos Hybrid is great for wet/dry conditions and the 1st ball out of the bag for tournaments. It is a very controllable ball, that takes surface adjustments very well. I can use this ball on a multiple variety of lane conditions. Great house shot ball, The Ethos Hybrid is great upgrade to the original Ethos.

The Brunswick Hero is a true all purpose ball. The Hero is very versatile and takes surface adjustments very well. I can go up the back on the ball and also get on the side of the ball, and the hero retains the awesome hero carry. The Hero comes with Dynamicore. There were several times a missed it a little at the bottom and the Hero still slapped the 10 pin. The Hero is first ball out of the bag ball. Just love the roll and carry of the Brunswick Hero

The new Brunswick Igniter Solid has a lot of hook for the price. Great color combination. The igniter solid takes surface adjustments very well, and rolls great on wet/dry conditions. I drilled mine pin up at 70x5x45. I did adjust the surface to 4000 sanded. This ball has A LOT of midlane roll with good arcing continuation down lane. The ball looks great going down the lane. The igniter solid will be great for league play and medium oil patterns. I have already used this ball on an OLD wood surface and had no problem getting the ball down lane without losing any energy.

0The new Brunswick Knock Out Black/Blue is a great compliment to the original Knock out. The new black and blue is a little earlier and stronger. It picks up in the midlane earlier and overall stronger on the backend. The knock out really takes surface adjustments well, from sanding lower to even some polish without losing the Knock out roll. The new Knock Out will not disappoint

The Prism Warp Hybrid is the best Brunswick ball I have thrown. The ball very clean in the fronts, Very strong midlane and good continuation on the back end. The ball motion in the Warp Hybrid is very versatile and should match up with a variety of bowling styles. I went with my favorite pin down layout (65 x 5 1/2 x 70) This layout gives a very strong midlane and allows me to play very steep angles through the front, without sacrificing any backend motion. The Prism Warp Hybrid is a great addition to the already successful Brunswick Prism line.

The Brunswick Stellar is a super clean ball with controllable back in. Due the high RG in the Stellar, it has no problem clearing the fronts. When the heads go and you are having trouble getting the ball to the spot, the Stellar is the ball. I can't say enough about the controllability of the Stellar. The Stellar is great for house conditions and flatter sport shots.

The new Solid messenger is definitely a blast from the past. The blue solid messenger reminds me of the old messenger series in the past, but with new technology. Being a solid cover I had no trouble getting this ball through the fronts. The messenger has a very rolly and continuous ball motion. Really strong ball motion for the price point. I drilled mine at 60 x 5 1/4 x 30. Very continuous through the pins. Great benchmark ball. Really good ball for league play and medium to shorter patterns.

The Power Torq is a very versatile ball. It has a lot of midlane and controllable downlane motion. I can not say enough about how controllable the Power Torq is on a varitey of lane conditions. The Power Torq is the example of a "benchmark" ball. It takes surface changes very well. It has Great shelf appeal and looks great going down the lane.

The Power Torq Pearl is a great compliment to the original Power Torq. The Pearl is very smooth and predictable. The Pearl gives up more length with acring motion on the back end. The Pearl rolls great on league shots, and sport conditions. The Pearl is a little earlier than most pearl balls, however it does not go sideways on the back. The new Power Torq Pearl is most predictable ball I have thrown in awhile. I can see this ball matching up with multiple bowling styles.

WOW what a ball from Columbia. The tyrant is a Paradox with more continuation. It has very similar ball motion as the Paradox but with more angularity down lane. I drilled one pin up above the bridge and one below the bridge. The pin down Tyrant has a very heavy smooth roll. This is great for fresh patterns including wet dry conditions. The pin up Tyrant I sanded up to 4000, this combination allowed me to open up the lane. It gave me about 4 more feet in length and 4 to 5 boards of more down lane hook. I am able to use the Tyrant on a house shot all 3 games. Pretty impressive for an asymmetrical high performance ball.

The new Ebonite Fireball is a great dry/medium ball for the price point. The fireball has a lot of energy downlane. I went with a 60 x 4.25 x 30 layout, which gives me strong midlane with a lot of continuation. The Fireball really goes through the pins well, and keeps the pins low. So when the lanes start to dry up , the Fireball is the ball to go to. With the additon of HK22 the Fireball does not quit on the backend. The ball justs keeps going. Another great hit from Ebonite at a lower price point.

The remake of the best Gamebreaker is back in the GB2. The GB2 comes with the best Ebonite core every designed in the V2 core. This remake is close to the original with a little more hook up front. However, the new GB2 has Dynamicore which makes the remake that much better. The GB2 is the ultimate benchmark ball that can be used on variety of lane patterns. The GB2 is also a very versatile ball as well. The GB2 is so contollable on tough sport patterns, but also rolls phenomable on league patterns. I can't say enough about about the GB2 remake. It should match up with a larger variety of bowling styles. Glad to have the remake GB2 back.

Great compliment to GB3 series. The GB3 Pearl picks up a little earlier for a pearl due to the awesome V2 core. This ball is ANGULAR. This is the best pearl that I have thrown is long time. If you like the Phenom 2 pearl you will love this ball.

The new Game Breaker 4 Pearl by far is the best Game Breaker to date. I drilled it at 55 x 5 1/2 x 35. I shot (2) 300 and the house record 864 during the first week after I drilled it. The GB4 Pearl has the awesome game breaker midlane roll with a lot of continuation. It is a little early for a pearl ball, but dont let it discourage you. It goes through the pins like no other ball I have thrown. All you Game Breaker fans this is a must purchase. Great Ball from Ebonite.

Another great ball in the Game Breaker series. The new GB Asym is cleaner than the GB4 and more angular down lane without losing the famous Gamebreaker roll. Making the new Game Break an Asymmetrical did not change the GB roll, just gave it a little more pop down lane. A lot of my fellow bowlers touched up the ball with a little surface and rolled even better for them. Another great ball in the already proven Game breaker series.

The One remix is one ball I have been waiting on them to remake. It is so clean throught the fronts, solid midlane and great continuation. It keeps the pins very low. The ONE takes surface adjustments very well. The original One was very popular with all styles of bowlers, and this ONE will not disappoint. I went with my favorite layout of 65 x 5 1/2 x 35. I can use the ONE on medium to long patterns, along with league and sport patterns. Very good all around ball. Glad to have THE ONE back.

The new Ebonite Verdict is a Track Paradox on steroids. The verdict has a very strong overall ball motion. There is no skid/flip in this ball. Stong midlane and strong continuation for an aysmmetrical ball. The Verdict has the all-new GSV-1 Solid overstock. I went with my favorite layout at 65 x 5 1/2 x 40. I have used the Verdict on some medium to heavy sport conditions. It opened up the lane like no other ball has before. Very driller friendly.

The Limited edition Ebonite V2 brings back the iconic original V2. The new V2 is very similar to the original, except with a little more overall hook. It has that great midlane roll with a smooth arc on the back. The carry is unreal. The V2 sets the standard for strong symmetrical ball. Great idea from Ebonite to bring ball the V2. The new V2 is the most versatile symmetrical ball that I have ever thrown. Can't say enough about the remake V2. Better get one before they are gone.

The legendary 3D off set is back. This was the ball to have back in the day. I loved the original 3D and the new one does not disappoint. The 3D core is a what makes this ball so special. It keeps the pins low, and carry is phenomenal. The 3D is very driller friendly and takes surface adjustsment well. This is going to be a very popular ball. The 3D is great for all bowlers styles.

The new Hammer 3d Offset Attack with the new HK 22 cover is the cleanest hammer ball I have ever thrown. With the awesome 3d offset core , and the HK 22, this 3d Attack is the best hammer ball produced in a long time. The new HK 22 cover is super clean like some other ball companies, however it does not hockey stick on the back end. It is very controllable hard arcing motion . I have used the new attack on several lane conditions and it has matched up very well. I went with a 65 x 5 x 25 drilling, which gives me a very controllable backend motion. The attack is a great compliment to the 3d offset remake with a little quicker response downlane. The attack will match up with a variety of bowling styles. Another great hit from Hammer.

Likes: This ball is an awesome rolling ball going down the lane. The new core/cover combo really gets the ball down the lane, with great continuation and it does not stop. Another huge benefit of the Absolute is the ball motion on oil. This is the first ball I have thrown with box finish(polished) the still hooks on oil. Used it on the Kegel Montreal pattern (longer pattern) and it picked up in the midlane and hooked on the back.
Dislikes: The Curve is a little speed sensitive with my week 6 in pin on oil, however I can use this ball on medium to med/drier lane conditions.
I think this ball will be great ball for the majority of bowlers that need length and continuation without skid/snap. The ball truly fits its name CURVE.

The new Absolut Flip by Hammer is latest in the Absolut series. The Flip does what it was named for. The Flip is super clean through the fronts with great recovery on the backend. When the heads start hooking and you need a ball to clear the fronts but still flip on the back without squirting, this is the ball for you. The cover and core combination matches up great in this ball.

Likes: The AMP is awesome piece. This ball has a lot of continuation, it never wiggles down lane. Very versatile ball. The cover is very friendly .....sanded or polish your layout keeps the same ball motion, just varies in overall length. I have used the AMP on several different patterns. It is rolls the best on the medium to longer patterns. However I sanded to ball to 4000 on high speed on a ball spinner and it shined up without polish. It gave me a lot of length and more continuation. I drilled the AMP with a stronger layout for me. It gives a very predicable ball motion. It is very smooth and strong , but does not loose backend reaction.

Dislikes: With the strong layout, it forces me to play away from the track.

Likes:Hammer has great versatile ball in the Low Flare. This ball is awesome for all styles of bowling, especially the higher rev guys. With the weak core and 500 surface this ball is awesome for fried heads and mids. The ball is the smoothest through the fronts of any ball I have thrown even with 500 surface. The ball has good continuation on the back with control. This ball is great for league, but I found it even better on sport conditions. The low flare is a great ball to use to not to give the pocket away. The ball motion is smooth and predictable. On league and shorter sport patterns this ball is awesome.

The VAl drilling low flare rolls the best. Used at Nationals, league, and all my sport patterns in our PBA league. CONTROL is the name for this ball.

Dislikes: Heavy oil but there are plenty other balls in the Hammer line up for oil.

If you all want flat out continuation hook then the new Hammer Bad Intentions is for you. This ball does not stop hooking until it is off the pin deck. It has a strong midlane motion and a ton of backend. I used it out of the box at 2000, and sanded it up to 3000/4000. Same ball motion just more length. The Bad Intentions is the latest ball in the Hammer line up. This ball compliments the Legend and Legend Pearl very well. With the Legends you get a lot of length and recovery, the Bad Intentions hooks earlier and stronger. The ball rolls the best in med/heavy oil, but you can shine it up for shorter patterns.

Another great edition to the Hammer Widow line. The new Black/Gold is very smooth through the fronts with good midlane, and then the very controllable backend motion. It is very angular with great length. The carry is awesome due to the Iconic gas mask core.

All I can say is WOW for the Hammer Black Widow GOLD.Continuing with the Iconic Gas Mask Core with the Semtex Pearl coverstock this ball is the BOMB. Great length with great angularity. This combination of core and cover with the gold color is the best Widow yet. Plus it comes with carbon fiber infused along with a 3 year warranty The Gold widow takes surface adjustments well and is very driller friendly. For higher ball speed players I would recommend stronger pin down layouts or small surface adjustments. For average league conditions put your favorite layout and strike for days on your house shot.

The Red Solid legend is a great compliment to the legend series. The solid has a strong ball motion that hooks in midlane and gives you a strong continuation arc on the backend. The solid is earlier than the black legend and more midlane that the pearl, but the solid gives you the awesome legend backend. The solid is very driller friendly, so put your favorite drilling in it. The surface is also very versatile.

Great Compliment to the purple urethane. I went with a short pin layout on the Pink. With the added asymmetrical core to this urethane ball, the short pin allows it to hook in the right place on the lane. I changed the surface to 1500, which allows me to place farther right on the lane. The Pink is another great ball from Hammer.

The Blue Vibe is Back! The remake has the same awesome core with the same cover as the Onyx Vibe. The original blue vibe was extremely poplular due to its versalitity. This remake will not disappoint. It has the great midlane roll with very controllable backend motion. I have used it on several medium to short sport patterns with great success. I drilled mine with a pin down drilling with a stronger 4 1/2 in pin. This gave more midlane and control on tougher patterns. The Blue Vibe has more overall ball motion than the new Cherry Vibe. Both vibes are great choices for league and tournament play.

Old school hammer is back in the Hammer Burgundy (React-a-Thane) The Burgundy has early roll of the old urethane days but with an arcing motion of today’s resin bowling balls. The surface is very user friendly. I have used mine at box (500) clear up to 4000 with factory polished. The ball motion does not change a whole lot with surface adjustments, obviously the overall length does. If you all want a very smooth and predictable ball, the Burgundy Hammer is for you. It definitely hooks more than urethane but A LOT smoother than Resin.

The Cherry Vibe is back along with the Blue Vibe. The Cherry is Super Clean through the fronts with alot of down lane motion. The Cherry is great for the shorter to medium patterns, which is also awesome for league conditions. The New version of the Cherry Vibe has the old blue vibe cover with the same proven Vibe core. These new Hammer Vibes are awesome match for several differnt bowlers styles.

The Deadly Aim is by far one of the hardest hitting balls I have ever thrown. The Deadly Aim has a Very heavy roll to it, so when it hits friction it goes into heavy pin carrying mode. This ball just rolls hard for me and it has continuous roll through the pins. I have drilled 4 of these balls with all different layouts. 3 of them pin up and 1 pin down. I would recommend your favorite pin up drilling if you want the most potential out of your Deadly Aim. I have adjusted the surface a few times, but I preferred factory polished or light 4000 Abralon. The Deadly is must purchase if you are looking for one of the hardest hitting balls on the market today.

Hammer's new Diesel is old school weight block with new cover stock technology. The Diesel is super clean through the fronts with very controllable down lane motion. The ball was designed for medium to oil lane condtions. However with the hybrid cover, the diesel will be a great choice for league play. I have the diesel smoother than the scandal pearl but stronger overall motion than the rebel series. So for a symmetrical core bowling ball you get a strong continuous hook downlane. The Diesel come with Hammer's industry leading 3 year warranty.

The new Diesel Torque is a very heavy rolling bowling ball. I went with a pin up drilling. It cleans the fronts very well for a sanded cover. Very strong midlane vs the original diesel. It has a extemely heavy roll on the backend. Carry is awesome. It rolls the best on medium to heavy oil conditions Really like the heavy roll of this ball. Really good ball when the backends get tight. Another great edition to the diesel line.

The Hammer Envy is advertised as the most aggressive bowling ball Hammer has ever made. The Envy suprisingly gets through the fronts and retains energy on the back part of the lane. The Envy revs up in the midlane and is very continuous through the pins. I went with a 60 x 5 1/2 x 30 layout. The Envy rolls similar to the Redemption Solid but with more continuation. The envy does lane shine quickly which allows you to bowl on medium lane conditons. The Envy is designed for longer and heavier lane conditions. So you may need to touch the cover up when bowling on heavier oil patterns. If you want a big aymmetrical ball that still continues the Envy is for you. The envy still has a "Rolly" ball motion that is very controllable.

The new Envy Tour Pearl is another great ball in the Envy lineup. The pearl version with HK22 is a super clean with ALOT of response downlane. The Envy Tour Pearl does not stop hooking off the spot. I have this new Envy similar to the gold obsession tour, but with more response downlane. It is going to be a House shot killer. However, it has responded very well on sport shots as well. Put your favorite layout in the Envy Tour pearl and you will not be disappointed. This is the best Envy so far by Hammer. Also, dont forget you also receive a free Hammer Hoodie with the purchase of the Envy Tour Pearl.

It is still a heavy rolling big aysm solid, now with more response downlane. I drilled mine very similar to the original Envy. The new extreme has move overall ball motion. The extreme is going to be great for longer and heavier oil patterns. Another great ball for the Hammer Lineup. And don't forget you get a free hoodie with purchase of the Hammer Extreme Envy.

The Fierce Phobia is great new upper mid performance ball. The ball comes sanded however the ball still has good length with a very continuous down lane motion. I drilled my with a 6 in pin up. This layout gives me length with a smooth continuous hook on the bank end. The ball also does not quit on the back. This ball is designed for medium to heavier oil patterns. However I can still use mine on our house shot of 40 feet. The fierce Phobia has the 3 year warranty, with the new Carbon fiber infused outer core.

The New Hammer Flawless is a perfect symmetrical ball for leagues. Very clean through the fronts, and saves a lot of energy for the back. The Flawless is very angular, which creates a lot entry angle to the pocket. The flawless is also very driller friendly. I went with a pin down drilling to increase the midlane roll, however it not lose any of the angular backend. I have thrown other flawless's with pin up drillings. They are very angular with ALOT of recovery downlane. The color combos look awesome. Another great ball from Hammer.

The new Hammer Fugitive from Brunswick/Hammer has great color combination and predictability. The cover is a skid/flip cover, however the ball is very clean, with strong midlane with a heavy roll on the backend. The cover takes surface adjustment really well. This ball is another hit from the new company. The Fugitive is designed for medium to lighter oil patterns. It will be awesome for league shots. The fugitive has a very defined roll on the backend. The fugitive will match up well with a variety of bowling styles.

The Gauntlet flat out hooks. This a very strong ball in the hammer line up. I drilled mine at 90 X 5 1/2 X 75. This ball needs oil for me. I took the surface up to 4000 to help with the overall hook. Even with a smooth drilling and surface adjustment the Gauntlet has a very strong ball motion down lane.

The new Hammer Gauntlet Fury is a beast. This is one of the strongest pearls I have thrown. The Fury is cleaner than the original Gauntlet, but it creates a very heavy back end motion. I drilled my at 70 x 5 3/4 by 75, this puts the pin under my middle finger. The Fury likes oil, however it does not go crazy on fresh back ends. It is very heavy rolling for a pearl. This ball does not stop, it has very good continuation through the pins. I have only thrown it on house patterns so far, can't wait to throw it on sport patterns with more oil. If you are looking for a big pearl the Hammer Gauntlet Fury is the Ball.

Hammer made the Infamous with a combination of a lot of technology. The Infamous is a strong symmetrical solid that is very smooth, heavy rolling, and controllable. I have found the Infamous to work the best on wet/dry conditions (house patterns) and the flatter sport patterns. I went with one of my standard symmetrical layouts at 65 x 5 x 35 . The Infamous keeps the pins really low. This is another great addition to the Hammer Line up.

Everyone loved the Web Tour series, as they were awesome on house and sport conditions. The new obsession Tour, with its new asymmetrical core, takes the web series one step further. The obsession tour is truly a benchmark ball on steroids. The tour is very clean for a dull ball, with great midlane roll, expected from the web tour series. It has serious continuation through the pins. It's hard to explain, how the Obsession Tour is very controllable but very continuous at the same time. You can put your favorite drilling in the Obsession Tour and will not be disappointed.

The new Obsession Tour Pearl is best Pearl to date. You combined the popular Obsession Tour core with a new GOLD pearl cover, to create awesome ball motion. The new Tour Pearl keeps the same ball motion as the OG but with a cleaner version. The Pearl keeps the pins low and carry is awesome. I went with a 60 X 4 3/4 x 35 layout. If you liked the original Tour Obsession, the Pearl is a must have. Hammer has one of the best Pearl balls that I have ever thrown.

The purple urethane bowling ball is the best urethane ball on the market. It has typical early urethane roll, but it still hooks on the back. Most urethane bowling balls layoff on the back. Not the purple hammer. The ball rolls great on all patterns. If you need to play a pattern to the right of the track this is the ball. I took the surface down to 2000 for my style of play. Drilled it with the pin under the bridge with a hole. The ball does not hit like normal urethane. Nothing hits harder than a Hammer.

The Purple ball on the market is now a reactive ball. For the bowlers that could not get "The Purple Urethane" to tip downlane, the new Purple reactive is for you. I, along with a lot of other bowlers could not get the purple urethane to hook in the right part of the lane. The new reactive is great compliment to the urethane. The reactive has the pop downlane with the urethane roll. The new reactive also takes surface adjustments very well. The new Hammer Purple Reactive is very continuous through the pins. Now Hammer has the best of both worlds with the 2 best PURPLE balls on the market.

The new radioactive vibe, with the addition of HK22, brings back the roll of the famous Hammer Vibe roll. The black onyx was one of my favorite and most popular vibes every produced. The new Radioactive vibe a very similar roll to the Black Onyx. This Vibe has a lot of performance for the price point. I went with my favorite pin up layout on symmeterical balls. It has the famous Vibe midlane roll with a lot of backend motion. The obvious yellow color stands out on the lanes more than any other ball on the market. This is by far the best hammer vibe produced under Brunswick. This vibe will be great on league conditions and a lot of sport conditons. It is a very versatile ball. Another great ball from Hammer.

The new Hammer Redemption Pearl is one of the strongest pearls I have ever thrown. Don't let the duller looking surface fool you, this ball clears the fronts easily. The Redemption Pearl rolls like a Brunswick ball and hits like a Hammer. I have never thrown a Pearl that rolls this heavy on the backend. It has really good midlane with a very continuous backend motion. It consistently finishes over the 8 pin through the rack. This new pearl form the new Brunswick company is my first ball out of the bag type ball. The combined technology from Brunswick and Hammer is winner with the Redemption Pearl.

The Rip'D is the most continuous asymmetrical hammer ball to date. I drilled mine with a pin up drilling above the bridge. The Rip'D is super clean through the fronts, good mid lane and does not stop as it goes through the pins. I knocked the cover down to light 4000 and it improve the overall ball motion. I have actually hit the 7 pin through the rack, along with leaving 2 pocket 7-9's. I can not say enough about the continuous back end motion from the Rip'D. The Rip'D keeps the pins low. Along with the Rip'D solid this is a great 2 ball combo.

The new RipD Pearl is another great edition to the Hammer RipD line. The Pearl, which comes sanded at 3000, blends out wet/dry pattern well. The RipD solid has early hook and used for heavier patterns. The RipD has a lot of backend motion. The new RipD Pearl is clean through the fronts, with great midlane and very angular on the back. I went with a pin up drilling 65 x 5 1/2 x 40. Again it is the best when the lanes are extemely wet/dry.Then just chase it in and RipD pearl has no problem recovering.

I totally agree with everyone else, including Bill O'neill, this ball is a BEAST. Definetly the strongest solid hammer ball. The Solid does not quit, it just keeps hooking. I drilled it with a pin down drilling with the MB on my VAL with low hole. This ball is awesome on heavier oil and flatter patterns. The Rip'd solid and Rip'd are a great 1 -2 combo. Hammer has 2 great pieces that will be great for all styles of bowlers.

The Scandal Pearl is the strongest Pearl ball that you will throw. Great length with serious backend motion. If you drill it pin up you will get the most down lane motion possible. The pin down layout will give you a stronger more controllable ball motion. The Scandal Pearl is a very popular ball for all styles of bowlers. You cant go wrong with this ball.

The new Scorpion from Hammer is a lot of ball for the price point. When I need a little extra pop down lane, the Scorpion is the ball I go to. This ball has a lot of midlane and backend motion for a symmetrical ball. I use the Scorpion on medium to longer lane patterns. The Scorpion is really clean in the fronts for a duller surface, but don't let it fool you. This ball is a beast on the backend. The backend motion is a very controllable motion that does not quit. The Scorpion is the first ball out of the bag. This new release will not disappoint.

The black/gold spike is a new ball motion compared to the previous 2 spikes. The original spike had a smooth ball motion. The blue/black spike had a strong ball motion. The new gold/spike has a arcing ball motion. The gold/black spike has good length an arcing continuation ball motion. The Black/gold is a great compliment to the previous 2 spikes. It has good length with midlane a good response downlane. So if you are looking for a dry lane ball with control downlane this ball is for you.

LANE CONDITION

Layout: 65 X 5 1/2 x 40

Length:40 and 39

Volume:Medium to dry

Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc):THS

COMMENTS

Likes:The Spike is super clean through the fronts. This is a great ball for the dry house conditions and later blocks in a tournament. The Spike creates great entry angle. Being I higher rev guy this ball is a must for the dry. Other lower rev rate bowlers have had great success with stronger layouts in the Spike.

Dislikes: Defiantly longer patterns. But you can change the surface down to 2000 and which enables the Spike to pick up earlier and still hit on the back.

The new Hammer Statement Pearl is a great compliment to the Statement solid. The Statement pearl is very strong , heavy rolling, angular Pearl by hammer. Super clean through the fronts for asymmetrical ball. The new statement core provides the heavy roll. It is one of the best Pearls every produced by Hammer. Strong pearl cover with the new statement core. Carry is phenomenal. Another great asymmetrical ball from Hammer

The new Hammer Statement Solid is a beast. The Statement solid works the best on the fresh. The statement solid is designed for heavier volume patterns, however it still works great for league patterns. It revs up early in the midlane but still clean through the fronts. It goes into a heavy roll down lane, which increases carry percentage. I have already had 300 and 800 with the ball in league. I went with a weaker pin up layout with MB close to my VAL. This is one the best asymmetrical balls from Hammer in long time. Very versatile ball for a variety of lane conditions.

The Hammer Viral goes as long as any Hammer ball produce, but with a great ball motion on the backend. The Viral is not a skid/snap ball. The Viral is very controllable on the backend. This ball is very smooth and predictable. I am able to use the Hammer Viral on several different lane conditions. I use it on our House shot (40 ft) Kegel Pattern Route 66 (45 ft), Kegel Highway to Hell Pattern. The Kegel patterns are very challenging patterns, and I was able to create area with the Viral due to the versatility of the ball. I did drill the first Viral with a stronger pin under drilling with a hole down. This gave me great control. I drilled another one with a weaker pin and pin up drilling. This drilling gave me 1 to 2 more feet of length, but again a controllable backend reaction. This ball keeps the pins low. My ball reaction wasn't over/under and the ball didn't squirt a lot. My carry has been awesome.
So if you are looking for a ball that will get down the lane and have a very predictable backend ball motion …the Hammer Viral is for you. Remember Nothing Hits Harder than a Hammer.

The new Hammer Viral Hybrid has more overall hook than the original and solid versions. I drilled mine pin down layout with a 4 1/2 in pin. The Gray viral was skid flip, the solid viral was a lot of midlane. The hybrid for me is overall a stronger ball. I have it hooking 4 to 5 boards more than the previous 3 Virals. This is great compliment to the viral line.

The new Viral Solid is one of the best balls I have thrown. I loved the original grey Viral, but the new Solid is better. The Solid is 3-4 boards stronger in the midlane with a controllable backend motion. The solid is a very versatile ball. Surface is easily changed without loosing the ball motion, just changing length. I can use the solid on several different patterns (long, medium and some short patterns.) I drilled mine pin down under the bridge with a hole down. This gives me very controllable midlane and backend reaction. I just can not say enough about the Viral Solid. If you want a very controllable ball that hits like a hammer this ball is for you.

The New Hammer Web is truly a benchmark ball by Hammer. The web easily clears the fronts, even with box finish of 2000. Great midlane and serious continuation on the backend. I leave a lot of 9 pins with this ball. The angularity is awesome. I went with a pin up drilling, was concerned with the sanded surface, dont be. A pin down drilling will roll fine. I can use this ball on a hooking house shot, or when the backends get tight. Another great addition from Hammer.

The Web Tour is the WOW factor bowling ball. First game out of the box I shoot 300 on a sport pattern. The web tour is a step from the urethane purple hammer with more continuation. The new cover makes this ball. A buddy of mine called this ball the read option ball, due to reading the lanes the correct way every time. The ball is extremely smooth but still reads the pattern and continues. Along with the new Hammer Web, great edition to the Hammer line.

The new Radical Bigfoot is a great addtion to the Radical line up. I have it a strong but smooth symmetrical ball. It has the Strong Radical core with a very smooth coverstock. The Bigfoot keeps the pins very low and carry is awesome. I went with a stronger pin (3 1/2 in) layout, to use on flatter sport patterns. It creates a lot of control on tough patters. The Bigfoot is also great on house shot conditions. All around great symmetrical ball from Radical.

The new Radical Bonus is a benchmark ball. This will be your first ball out of the bag ball. With the lower diff and stronger cover combo, it works great on several patterns. The ball is extremely smooth but DOES not loose any hitting power. The cover is very versatile and takes surface adjustments well. Match up your favorite layout with the layouts that are provided in the box the Bonus comes with. If you want to make Bonus money ....The Bonus is the ball of choice.

For the first Urethane from Radical, they got it right. With the best Purple urethane cover a strong radical core, the Double Cross has the best of 2 worlds. The Double Cross has ALOT of midlane roll with good downlane motion for urethane. I went with a 3 in pin which created alot of flare and hitting power downlane. Really good urethane ball.

The Radical Payback is a strong sanded Pearl bowling ball. The Payback has very controllable ball motion. The Payback works best with wet/dry lane conditions. It blends out lane patterns very well. I drilled mine with a 70 x 5.5 x 25 layout. The payback rolls the best with the duller finish (1500 out of the box) for me. Another great ball from Mo.

The Radical Results is the most angular backend ball motion in a Radical ball to date. The core matches the cover perfectly. The cover takes surface adjustments very well. The Results does not roll like any other Pearl ball I have thrown. It clears the fronts easily, with good midlane, and VERY continuous backend motion. Several shots that I missed right or missed it at the bottom got back and slapped the 10. If you want a ball for league or tournament play, and want RESULTS....The Radical Results is the ball for you.

This ball is smooth but very continuous through the pins. I use this ball when a need to deep on the lanes but dont lose any hitting power. If you need a ball to get through the fronts and still hit on the back, the Sneak attack is the ball. Being a higher rev player with medium ball speed this ball works great on dryer sport patterns and lower volume house shots. I went with a taller pin at 70 x 5 1/2 x 25. This layout complimented the sneak attacks cover and core very well. Another hit from Radical.

The new Track Archetype is a big hooking (very rolly) ball. The Archetype is the heaviest rolling ball I have ever thrown. The ball revs up early, but does NOT lose energy downlane. The archetype allows me to stay right longer on sport patterns without losing hitting power. The ball looks amazing going down the lane. It reminds me of the Hammer Redemption solid with more down lane motion. You will need to games on this ball before you see the true ball motion of the Archetype. The Archetype is desinged for heavier volume patterns, however with hand position changes, I can use on a variety of lane patterns. Another great ball from Track.

I am a HUGE fan of the Kinetic line up. The new Black Ice does not disappoint. The Black Ice is a lot more responsive than the Kinetic Platinum. I have it between the Kinetic Emerald and Aymethyst. The Black Ice is clean through the fronts, still has the great Kinetic midlane roll, with a lot of back end motion. This is truly one of the best Kinetics yet. I have used it on league and sport patterns. It rolls great on both types of patterns. I went with my favorite layout on all my Kinetics, 75 x 4 7/8 x 45. If you have not ever thrown a Track Kinetic, the Black Ice would be a great choice. Great ball for the Track Line up.

The new Track Kinetic Cobalt is another great ball from the Kinetic line up. With the addtion of HK22 and a sanded surface, the Cobalt will give a shape you have never seen in the Kinetic series. I have the Cobalt more rolly like the Kinetic Emerald, however but angular like the amethyst. I have used this ball on both house patterns and sport. It is a very versatile ball. The cobalt picks up in the midlane and has some pop downlane. Just put your favorite Kinetic layout in the Cobalt and you won't be disappointed.

The Track Logix is a great compliment to the Legion Solid. It is very angular down lane. I drilled mine with a 65 x 5 1/2 x 40. It had a lot of top weight in the ball. I had to adjust the surface down to get the Logix to pick up more in the mid lane. It is very clean through the fronts, I would recommend drilling the Logix with a stronger pin.

The Trilogy is a great compliment to the Paradox line up. If you loved the Paradox roll you will not be disappointed with this ball. The trilogy is a lot cleaner through the fronts, but very controllable on the backend. For a shiny paradox you get the famous paradox roll with more controllable continuation on the backend.

I drilled one with a pin up and one with a pin down drilling. The pin down rolls the best for me. It is so controllable ball motion. It is very versatile. The pin up gives up more length with more backend motion. You do not lose any of the paradox carry with the Trilogy.

No Skid snap in this pearl. If you are looking for a Angular asymmetrical ball the Proof pearl is for you. It works the best on the medium to longer oil patterns. It really rolls great on sport conditions with the very controllable back end motion. The Proof Pearl will match up with all styles of bowlers, and rolls extremely well on house conditions.

All I can say is WOW. The new Track Stealth has awesome ball motion. This ball has ALOT of flare. I went with a 70 x 6 x 35 layout. Even with the weaker pin, I am still getting a 4 inches of flare. This ball is awesome on house shots, with unbelievable continuation through the pins. It takes surface adjustments very well, if you need the Stealth to read sooner just sanded it with 1000 and to go longer go with 3000 t0 4000. With the surface adjustments the Stealth never loses the incredible ball motion. I see this ball being very driller friendly. So put your favorite layout in the Stealth and strike for days.

The Tundra is by far the best dry lane ball I have thrown. The Tundra has great length and control. I drilled mine 65 x 5 1/2 x 40, which is a pin above the bridge. The Tundra is a step down from the Hammer Burgundy for me. The tundra great on wood and short patterns. When you are bowling on a tough short sport pattern the tundra is the ball. The tundra is very predictable. You will not be disappointed with the Tundra. The Tundra still hits hard and carry is awesome.

The new Track Tundra Fire is the best medium to dry lane ball I have seen in long time. The Fire with the High RG and low diff plus HK22, makes the the tundra the best ball motion for drier league and sport patterns. I went with a 60 x 3 3/4 x 25 layout, which is a stronger layout for me. The layout compliments the Tundra fire very well, with longer length and a very strong roll on the backend. I have used this ball on house shots and flatter sport patterns. This is by far the best Track Tundra to date.
