The Rocket A.I. pushes the Thunder line forward with a bold new option designed to generate stronger motion downlane, making it ideal for medium-dry lane conditions. At its core is the Booster A.I. Core, featuring the same trusted inner weight block found in earlier Rocket releases. The outer core has been upgraded with advanced A.I. Technology, boosting performance by improving carry on off-center hits while lowering RG and increasing differential. This combination helps the Rocket A.I. better adapt to modern lane environments. Encasing the core is the A1S Pearl Reactive coverstock, built for superior grip and responsiveness on today’s challenging oil patterns. According to Jason Belmonte, “This core and cover combination provides a sharp backend reaction when you need to open up the lane, while still driving strong through the pins.”
Here's what Storm has to say about the Rocket A.I.:
The Rocket A.I. continues the aggressive expansion of the Thunder line by adding a release that creates later ball motion to dominate medium-dry conditons. Powering this release is the Booster A.I. Core, which retains the same inner weight block shape used in previous Rocket models. The outer core, however, has been enhanced with A.I. Technology. This dynamic addition not only increases carry percentage on off-hits, but also lowers the RG and raises the differential, allowing the Rocket A.I. to better match up with today’s lane patterns. To further support performance on today’s more demanding oil conditions, the Rocket A.I. is wrapped in our A1S Pearl Reactive coverstock which is engineered for exceptional tackiness. Jason Belmonte says, “This core/cover combo delivers a quick response on the backend when you need to create larger angles and still have your ball continue through the pins.”
