A Pro Pin bowling ball from SPI Bowling Products (Storm, Roto Grip, and 900 Global) is where the Pin (Core Top) distance from the CG (Center of Gravity) is 6 - 6 1/2" out. Anything more than 6 1/2" would be considered an X-Blem.
This is a premium, first-quality ball crafted to the same exacting standards as the rest of these elite lines - ensuring top-tier performance and durability without any compromises.
Due to changes in the USBC rules for static balances and weight holes, Pro Pins/Pro Cg's no longer have specialized and unique layouts. These balls can be drilled using any of the SPI drilling layouts. NOTE - On Pro CG balls, the final placement of the CG (Center of Gravity) will appear to be in an odd location but this will not affect the ball reaction.
It's on to the next movement in bowling ball reaction. It's time for Storm Phaze II!
Following in the footsteps of the original Phaze, the Phaze II takes things to a different level.
The Phaze II also uses the amazing Velocity core, which creates a predictable and versatile backend reaction. Controlling the back part of the lane is a key to scoring, especially on difficult lane conditions.
Where the Phaze II really steps up its game is with the new TX-16 Solid Reactive coverstock. This coverstock really grips the lane, making the Phaze II Storm's biggest hooking symmetric ball of all-time.
Here is what Storm Bowling has to say about the Phaze II:
The additive in the TX-16 breed of coverstock responds impeccably well to surface adjustments too. If there were ever a ball to exist that could read your mind, this Phaze II is it!
12-13 Pound features the Centripetal Core.
White hazing/spots are normal. This can be taken off with ball cleaner.
