The Explosion Zone 1 & 2 utilize Symmetric core technologies, and two different types of Reactive coverstocks to create a complementary pair of ball reactions that will allow bowlers to match-up to lane conditions ranging from medium-dry to oily.
The Explosion Zone 2 uses the highest RG Symmetrical Core System ever used in the International Zone Series. Combined with a non-pearlized, two-color PowerKoil 22 coverstock. This core/coverstock combination creates a large hook potential, even arcing reaction that matches up on medium to oily lane conditions and longer patterns. Bowlers with faster ball speeds or any bowler who has problems with the ball going too long before hooking should appreciate the ball reaction of the Explosion Zone 2.
