For the most part, men aren't very picky. They aren't too concerned with color or style, they just want something comfortable that doesn't look ridiculous. Well luckily, there are many great options for men on our site. Shoes with great performance, comfort and durability.
Having your own bowling shoes is possibly the most important piece of equipment to have. It's a lot like building a house. If you don't have a good foundation (shoes), then it doesn't matter how fancy and modern the structure of the house is (ball) if the structure won't hold. Having a consistent approach and slide is the key to having a consistent release each and every shot.
If you're a beginner, a great place to start would be a shoe like the
Men's Ricky II Black. This shoe has sliding soles on both feet, so no matter if you're right or left handed, you will get a consistent slide each and every shot.
The next step up would be a shoe like the
Men's Magnum Wht/Blk/Slr Right Handed. This shoe is specifically designed for right or left handed bowlers. Your non-slide foot shoe will have a rubber traction sole for extra push off and leverage. This will increase pin action and carry!
Now if you're really looking for the cream of the crop, then you're looking for a shoe like the
Men's SST 8 . These shoes have interchangeable soles and heels on BOTH feet, giving you the option for more slide/break with your slide foot and more or less traction with your push off foot. This allows you to have EXACTLY the same amount of slide no matter where you're bowling, or what variables you encounter! This equals higher scores!!
So whether you're just looking for something basic or you're on your way to the PBA Tour, we've got something for everyone! Just click on the
BOWLING SHOES tab at the top of our site, or
