Wilkinson is Re-elected USBC President

ARLINGTON, Texas - Frank Wilkinson of Staten Island, New York, was re-elected president of the United States Bowling Congress and Cathy DeSocio of Wichita, Kansas, will continue to serve as vice president of USBC.
Wilkinson and DeSocio were re-elected as officers for the 2016-2017 season by the USBC B o ar d o f
Directors, following the USBC Convention held in April in Las Vegas.

Wilkinson, 29, will begin his second term as president on Aug. 1. The owner of Rab's Country Lanes, he joined the USBC board as a youth committee representative in 2010. At this year's USBC Convention, he was elected to the board by delegates.

"I appreciate the confidence and support of the board members and the USBC delegates in allowing me to continue to serve USBC." Wilkinson said, "In the last year, we have seen the relaunch of the Professional Women's Bowling Association and a television deal that will showcase our sport from youth bowlers to collegiate to the professional level. We are continuing to build a future for the sport and I look foward to many more success stories in the coming years."

Wilkison has been on the Bowling Proprietors' Association of America board as a USBC representative since 2014 and a director on the National Council of Youth Sports since 2012. He is a Youth Education Services and Nominating Committee member for the New York State USBC. Rab's Country Lanes has been honored as the Staten Island Small Business of the Year presented by the City of New York.

DeSocio also will be serving her second term as vice president. The president of JOMA Company, which operates seven centers in Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma, she was president of BPAA from 2012-2014 and currently is a trustee for the International Bowling Museum and Hall of Fame.

She has receive the Great Plaines USBC Hall of Fame Pioneer Award for Exceptional Leadership, Continued Support and Distinguished Service to the Sport of Bowling and the Wichita Business Journal Women in Business Award, amoung her many awards.
