Get Off Of Your Bowling Back Foot

If you are having trouble pulling up and out of your shot at the foul line, then get off of your bowling back foot.
If you are losing balance when delivering your bowling ball, then transfer your body weight from your step before your slide fully onto your sliding step and get off of that back foot.
It helps to make sure your sliding step moves toward the center of your body to support your body weight and stabilize your torso while sliding.
If you remain on your back foot and do not sufficiently transfer your weight fully onto your sliding step, you risk pulling up and out of your shot and weakening your leverage and power.
Avoid hurrying to transfer your weight forward when sliding so you do not have to force your delivery motion.
If you set up in an athletic posture in your stance position on the approach and retain the same spine angle throughout your approach, you will be in a good position to fully transfer your weight onto your sliding step.
It is very important to retain good balance while walking to the line.
It is always important to retain good balance so you do not lose accuracy.
Keeping your head still and at the same elevation, or close to the same elevation from the floor, throughout your approach and sliding motion will help you be in position to make a good shot.
If you work in practice to transfer your weight forward and get off of your back foot, you will stabilize your body position during your slide and improve your shotmaking ability.
