Bowling alley revamps game room for Poker Palace 4 nights a week

When he first heard about the Poker Palace, Ypsilanti resident Aaron Williams was like many of the local players who have frequented the new poker room inside Bel-Mark Lanes.
"I was surprised," Williams said. "I was wondering how they were doing it. I heard they were doing it with charities, and I was ready to come."
Started by Randy Roe and Russell Black, the Poker Palace provides the room, tables and dealers for local charities, which can obtain four-day licenses from the Bureau of State Lottery to run games.
