Will you crack the Code?

Storm Bowling has cracked the code. Storm originally came out with the Code Black, then, last summer, sounded the alarm with the Code Red. This time round, the third installment in the Code Series, is the Code X. Storm is continuing their premiere line success, and cracking the code to strikes along the way as well.

The new Storm Code X is back with the successful RAD4 core, wrapped in the R2S Solid Reactive coverstock. Finished at 3000 Grit Abralon, the Code X is going to be clean through the fronts, provide an earlier mid-lane read, and greater overall hook on the backend. This ball will be a perfect compliment to the Code Red, where if your Code Red is just going that extra one to two feet longer, bust out the Code X and get the traction you need to strike more.

This ball is going to be near similar to the Idol from Roto Grip, and if you hadn’t read my article on that you can do so by clicking here. The Code X is going to be a ball that is going to be more on the backend as opposed to the Idol, but still give that great hitting power. This ball truly is meant for heavy oil lane conditions.

For the one-handed bowlers, this ball is absolutely fantastic. Bowlers with the lower rev-rate can use this in their leagues they bowl in and just strike out their competition. Two-handed bowlers again won’t have the same luck with this as the one-handed bowlers will. We aren’t fully meant for the asymmetrical solids like this, or any asymmetrical in general. We would have to go with weaker layouts just to keep this ball in play for some period of time.

The key to strikes, the key to deciphering the code, is to purchase a Storm Code X, right here at bowlingball.com. It’s where bowlers go.
