bowlingball.com continues our series of Editorial articles to express opinions about the bowling industry. This article asks do you practice bowling more or less in the last year?
Because this site provides ongoing and periodic editorial bowling articles, we thought it would be fun to learn do you practice more or less these days?
Let’s get you started by saying that everyone who is experienced in the game know that practice is the proven pathway to improvement.
It is not important what your skill level or experiences in the game have been but what you choose to do about investing time to practice when your bowling scores do not matter.
Here are ideas to ponder which may guide your response:
Do you prefer bowling only leagues and not practice when you feel your game is slightly off track?
Is practice a regular part of your bowling week?
Do you tend to
practice before important competition such as trying to win a league or bowling in a tournament?
Do you enjoy practice bowling with friends or purely by yourself?
If you practice routinely, do you use several
bowling balls and keep the ball surfaces prepared and ready for use in competition?
Do you keep score when you practice, if you practice at all?
Is practice overrated because of the easy scoring conditions on most house oil patterns?
How about practicing
spares? Is spare practice part of your usual practice routine?
Everyone who bowls regularly either practices between competitions or does not. How about you?
