2017 Young Delegates Grant Program Guidelines

USBC is pleased to announce the continuation of the Young Delegates Grant Program, which was started last year and is designed to encourage more participation in the USBC Convention.

The strategic planning committee report highlighted the desire to recruit new leaders interested in governance of the sport. This grant program covers travel costs for young delegates interested in attending the
2017 USBC Convention in Las Vegas. Grant applicant guidelines:

• You must be an eligible delegate under 45 years of age to be considered

• Preference will be given to new delegates who have never attended USBC Convention

• Preference also will be give to those who qualify as athlete delegates

• Grant recipients from the 2016
USBC Convention will not be considered

Grant recipients may select an arrival date of April 24, 25 or 26. Recipients receive transportation, hotel accommodation through April
27 and meal reimbursement. The application deadline is February 1,
2017.
