I purchased this ball back in March, shortly after it was released. At the time, it was only my second new ball purchase (after the Ebonite Playmaker). I had been using an older Track Stomp for close to 8 years, averaging 160-175. After noticing the Playmaker didn't quite react to changing lane conditions as well as I had liked, I went looking for an upgrade. Enter the Second Dimension. I had debated getting the Virtual Gravity, but went on the advice of the pros at the shop, since I regularly bowl at a house where bad things are known to happen. I'm not the strongest person in the world (I only throw about 14-15 mph) but I find that I have more control that way.
The moment I launched my first shot, I knew this ball was special. Two weeks after purchasing it, I threw my very first 300 game. I can honestly say that I love this ball. It reacts in ways I never thought to be possible. It hits with the force of a Mack truck. Now, I'm not claiming to be an expert on bowling balls (I just follow what they tell me), and I do have my own mechanical flaws sometimes, but Storm has truly found something big with this ball. I still keep my Playmaker handy for drier lane patterns, and it still performs well. But the Second Dimension is my primary "attack" ball. And for good reason. Well done, Storm!
