What I Was Looking For In This Ball Layout:
Storm's description on this ball says they were looking for something that would offer glide through the heads with attack down lane at the break point.
I figured by placing in the pin a little further from my PAP but keeping it under the grip I would enhance this ball motion and give us a really good look at what the new 2Fast can do. This layout normally creates more skid
but still allows the ball to read the friction. For me when I do this layout with the pin under my middle finger I tend to get a little earlier read then if I go above so I thought that would keep the ball from going past the breakpoint and not recovering.
What I Ended Up With in the Ball and Layout:
The 2Fast offered exactly what Storm said they wanted and gave me everything I would need to be a go to ball. As you can see if you watch our video on this ball I was able to start out playing up the boards with this ball and had an amazing look at the pocket. The ball cleared the heads easily and read the friction at the breakpoint just right.
As we bowled a little more and as the video progresses you will notice my migration left and by the end of the night I was able swing the lane from inside the fourth arrow. The ball handled this angle just as good as it did going up the boards earlier in the night.
That shows me that this is a good all around ball and will allow the player to be versatile with the layouts and angles on a variety of lane conditions.

The Storm 2 Fast bowling ball is meant to get through the heads cleanly while still being aggressive down lane. I personally need help clearing the heads because of my slower ball speed. The 2 Fast was there to help me the entire night. The Storm 2 Fast will definitely find a home in my bowling bag this coming season.
Mike Jones (a co-worker) chose the layout on this bowling ball. He went with Storm's recommend 4x4 layout, which is one of the higher flaring layouts. I retro fitted it to the dual angle layout for comparison with my bowling balls from other videos.
Watch our video to see my style of bowling. Outside of my balance issue on the first shot, I was very happy with my bowling and how this bowling ball reacted.
The 2 Fast seemed to work great from many angles. Watch the video for some examples.

Layout 1
Layout 2

- Locate the mass bias and mark it with "MB"
- Place the major pin 4-¼" from the player's PAP and locate the mass bias (MB) along the player's PAL
- This layout will most often require an extra hole, so place this hole on the PAP and remove excess side weight to "0".
- This layout works well to produce medium length and heavy midlane roll. Usually works well on medium to heavy oil, especially longer oil patterns.
Layout 3

- Locate the mass bias and mark the spot with an "MB". Remember, the mass bias is a fine tuning device used by advanced players.
- Place the major pin 3-3/8" from the PAP and locate the mass bias halfway between the player's ball track and PAL
- Place the extra hole, if necessary, on the player's PAP, removing excess side weight to less than 1 oz.
Note: This is a "High Flare" layout that should only be used by low rev players seeking maximum ball reaction!
Layout 4

- Place the major pin 1-½" from the PAP. Remember to keep the pin along the line located between the PAP and the player's finger holes.
- Place the mass bias in the player's ball track.
- Check side weight to see if an extra hole is necessary. If so, place the hole on the PAP.
- This layout will produce heavy roll with a controllable backend reaction. Players with extensive side roll or high rev players will love this layout to help control dry, short oil patterns with very dry backends
