I laid this ball out almost identically to my Virtual Gravity to get a direct comparison of reactions. I expected to be able to get into the deepest parts of the lane and have the ball recover from anywhere on the lane. What I Ended Up With In This Ball Layout: Simply amazing... Storm has done it again. Without question, this ball provided the best reaction and carry at the pocket than any other ball I've ever tested. Compared to the Virtual Gravity, this ball hooked just as much, but gave me a little more predictability and control overall. This combination of reaction, control, and power at the pins equaled incredible scores for me the first night I tested in league.Out of the box, I tested this ball in my league to see how far into the night I could take it. I started out the night standing on the 35th board (Yes, that was to start the night on a fresh house shot). Without effort, I was able to keep the ball on line and get it back from the 10th board at the breakpoint. As for carry percentage, I left a pocket 7 pin in the first frame. Other than that, it carried the next 11 shots. I could live with 290 out of the box for the first game. The 2nd game, I expected to see some transition and lose a little carry at the pocket. Not the case at all. I began the 2nd game throwing the front 9 strikes. The shots ranged within a few boards of each other, but whether I missed in or leaked a it right, the Storm Invasion made it to the pocket and shredded the rack. As for the 10th frame, it was a repeat of the first frame in the first game, leaving another pocket 7 pin. 279 the 2nd game, it was looking good, but I didn't think it could last much longer. As the 3rd game began, I decided to move left on the approach 2 boards to provide a little extra push down the lane before getting into a roll. I was surprised with how well the Invasion was storing energy down the lane as the night progressed. Once again, I found myself shaking my head at the absolute power this ball unleashed at the pins as I began the 3rd game with the front 7 strikes. After a split in the 8th frame, I finished the game striking out for 262. 831 out of the box the first night used with 32 strikes. I'm sold. Frankly, if you've thrown the Virtual Gravity, you're going to want to add the Invasion to your arsenal. If you haven't had a chance to throw a Virtual, I recommend you give the Invasion a shot. Probably the best pin carry out of the box that I've ever seen.
