I wanted to wait awhile before I wrote a review on this ball. I got the Arson Pearl about 4 months ago and recently just went to going fingertip. This was my first reactive ball (I used to only use urethane) and I don't know if I dressed it up in my head to be something it's not, or what. The good news about this ball is that it is very consistent on a variety of lane conditions. I just wouldn't recommend this ball for heavy oil. I've tried it, you get no entry angle into the pocket with this ball (I left a lot of flat 10s). This would make a good benchmark ball if you're more of a "down and in" bowler, like me. For league, I can easily use this ball all night (my house has medium oil conditions) without it over hooking on me. The only thing I'm not crazy about this ball is its hitting power. I don't know if it's the symmetric core or something, but this ball is average at best when it comes to hitting power. Other than that, it's a great ball. I just went with a simple label layout, I bowl around 16.2 - 16.6 mph and I average 210, with med-high revs. With this ball and going to fingertip, over a 50 game stretch, I have seen my average go up to a 222. A good portion of my spare shots are at ringing 10 pins.

I would recommend this ball to anyone.
