Roto Grip Theory Reviewed By: Rockteschel 11/22/2010 23:00 ( stars)

About the Bowler
Bowling Hand    Right Handed
League Average    225
Sport Shot Average    210
Ball Speed    Fast
Style    Cranker
PAP    5 right

Theory: 4x4x2 with a 29/32 weight hole on the PAP.

The Theory, as I drilled it, gave me a strong movement off of the breakpoint. I was able to throw a variety of angles and still make it to the pocket. The Theory did not deflect off the pins as much as other balls which gave me more consistent carry. The first game out of the box was a 300 and the 2nd was a 290. I finished the night of league out with a 222 for an 812. I have thrown the Theory in 5 other league sessions and have 4 – 279’s, 3 – 700+ series, and 2 between 675 and 699.

The Theory gives me room at the breakpoint both in and out. I was able to get to the hole even when I was a little off with my angle of projection. With the decreased deflection I left fewer corner pins. I did however leave a few more 9 pin leaves.

I believe this will be the next ball of the year. It brought me out of a small slump and I believe it will do the same for most other bowlers as well. You will not go wrong getting yourself a Roto Grip Theory. Another hit by the design team for Roto Grip.
