PAP    4 7/8 X 1 up
First off, I'll tell you that I have been a fan of Track equipment since before they were accquired by Columbia and then later by Ebonite. I really like the control and backend reaction that I've experienced with each Track ball that I've thrown. My most recent Track ball purchase is the Up-Rising. I got this to compliment my Track Kinetic and my Track Temper. In the past I have also owned the Track Mean Machine and the Track Freak A Zoid.

I had my Up-Rising drilled with the pin 4 1/2" from Pap above and just to the right of my ring finger, and the CG kicked out to the right of the pin along my midline. This gave me a ball that is very agressive, with an earlier hook and more control. Using the out of box finish, I got a strike with my first roll of this ball. After bowling a dozen games, I found that I had control over the entire range from mid-boards to right edge. The only weakness I saw was trying to use the boards left of center arrow (as a right hander.) But this could be due to other factors like drilling layout, my bowling style, and lane conditions. All-in-all I think the Up-Rising will be a welcome addition to my arsenal.
